As an event unfolds, David has a gift for finding the perfect shots that capture the spirit of the moment. We wanted a mix of formal portraits and informal pictures to capture the day and we were more than satisfied on both fronts. David also has a way of taking charge to make sure things are moving along, without being demanding. He blends well into the crowd so you don't feel overwhelmed or unnatural by having a photographer on your heals. David also did our engagement shoot and "TTD"-Trash the Dress shoot. He was very professional, responsive, and willing to try new things to meet our needs. You can rest easy knowing you'll have great pictures of your event with David.

We met David at the Grand Social Tasting at our Wedding Venue, up till meeting him we were set on not having a photographer at our wedding. After meeting him though we knew we had to do it. His packages were a great bang for your buck. His work that he had displayed on his table was amazing!!! We loved the albums and were still interested even though he was from the Cities and we were getting married in Two Harbors. He was it! We are so happy with our decision! We would not have our memories in such an amazing way if it was not for David capturing them so beautifully! We love our album and canvas wrap! Each piece of work he made for us flows together wonderfully! His professionalism is also unsurpassed! He consistently kept in touch with us from when we first booked him to even now a few months after the wedding with making sure we received everything we wanted out of our package. He was also early on the wedding day and even though we expected to first meet up with him at noon that day he surprised me by coming to my hair appt and getting a few shots at 9AM! That was a fantastic surprise and when he says that he will give you a "comprehensive session" he means it because he didn't head out till 11 that night! He made sure to catch all the little details of our wedding, which there were a lot! He also managed to keep everyone along a tight timeline like we were hoping since we were doing a bit of traveling for the photos away from the venue! David was great to get along with and very personable! Everyone enjoyed meeting and working with him!

David was wonderfully helpful and professional at every stage in the process of planning the wedding, and did a fantastic job of capturing the event. He was thoroughly prepared but also adaptable and calm when the weather threw us a curve-ball on the day. He took charge when he needed to for the group pictures, but for the rest of the day was unintrusive and his calm attitude put us at ease when shooting the portraits. His images truly encapsulate the joy and happiness of all the guests, and the wide variety of colors on display. His photography was vivid and classy, and everyone who has seen the pictures agrees that he did a superb job.

We were very happy with David's work, and I would choose him again in a heartbeat. He was extremely responsive, flexible and interested in meeting our needs and expectations. He was very conscientious about asking what we wanted and meeting those goals creatively. We wanted a lot of candid photos and images of our guests, and he did an outstanding job. Our wedding was rather informal and nontraditional, and his photos really captured the spirit of our celebration. David is also a genuinely great person. We look relaxed and like we're enjoying ourselves in our portraits and family shots, and David set the tone for that. He managed to keep everyone on task without being intrusive. His package was also excellent value. I highly recommend him.
