David is AMAZING!!! Words do not say how happy I am that he was our wedding photographer. My dad is handicapped and David made it work, so my dad could be in the outside photos. My husband likes to change the change or add things to the itinerary, and David just went with it. I would recommend him to everyone!

I really enjoyed working with David and his assistant, Melissa. Throughout the process David was witty and professional. He added his professional opinion in a very guiding way, though he incorporated our vision as well. On the day of my wedding the bridal studio ran late putting me an hour behind schedule. David was already in the room prepping for pics when I got there in a whirlwind trying to get dressed and gain some time back. He sort of stayed in the background, yet managed to make pictures that looked intimate and unhurried. I tell you honestly it felt like a mad dash in reality, but the pictures showed no signs of that. We did our first look and group shots before the ceremony. He and his assistant moved flawlessly through the list. The weather had thrown a wrench into our pre-planned outdoor shots, but that wasn't an issue. They thought of a solution and managed to capture spectacular photos anyway. Throughout the night they seemed to be exactly where the action was though I really never noticed them. They didn't hover, and weren't intrusive at all. They we're extremely aware of everything that was happening and didn't miss any of the special or important moments. I highly recommend hiring them for your wedding day! I am so incredibly glad that I did!

David Kidwell was very polite and a fabulous photographer. He was very friendly from the start and gave us straightforward information. He made our wedding day all about us and worked as hard as possible to get all of our needs met— which he succeeded in doing! I would highly recommend David as your photographer, you won't regret it!!

Finding a wedding photographer is no easy task. My fiancé and I interviewed multiple photographers throughout our planning process. The second we met David, we both looked at each other and said “he’s the one”. He made us instantly feel comfortable, he was personable, and we envisioned our families loving him. From start to finish, we kept open communication and he really listened to what we wanted. I was afraid of 2 things: missing cocktail hour which we really felt was important, and a photographer being too pushy. David agreed with us and assured we could get all of our photos in time and still enjoy cocktail hour...and he met his mark! David went with what we wanted. Even on our wedding day it was 95 degrees, and we decided to skip a few photos for the sake of our groomsman not melting, and he was totally cool with it. We wanted nighttime photos, he set everything up and pulled us at a time when we wouldn’t miss much. He kept us and our wants as his priority and that was extremely important in a photographer. We received our photos in a timely manner too! Couldn’t say more amazing things about him...book him: you won’t be disappointed!

As soon as we met David, we knew we wanted him to be our wedding photographer! He was extremely easy to work with and made planning out our picture times so easy. The final photos were amazing! He captured our wedding day beautifully and our album is absolutely gorgeous! We love looking back at all of pictures and are so glad that we chose David to capture one of the best days of our lives!

David and his assistant we both amazing! And our pictures are even more amazing! They both arrived early on our wedding day and were total professionals. Every time we turned around there they were- taking more pictures than we had imagined! Our families love both of them and everybody at the wedding seemed very comfortable with them. We highly recommend David!

We hired David for our wedding and engagement photos. He was very flexible with our engagement photos because we were out of state and knew a lot of good places for nice shots. They came out great and we used them for our save the date photos. We then had him and his assistant come to take wedding photos for us. It was nice to have two photographers to get the extra shots you might not get with just one. He worked with us to figure out times and how it would all work out. This was great because I didn't have much help planning the wedding and I enjoyed the insight from a professional. They listed to some of my requests when I had asked for specific pictures and tried to capture everyone. It took a little longer than I would have expected to get some of the photos however it was worth the wait. He was moderately priced and knows his way around a camera so hire him for your next event.

David was awesome to work with. We met him at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn wedding show. His prices were pretty amazing, which is the first reason we went with him. I also liked how he incorporated 2 extra albums; my mother and MIL loved them as gifts! My husband and I were not into engagement photos; we just are not the type of people to take "staged" pictures I guess? To compensate, David came and captured moments of our rehearsal dinner, which was so nice because we got more photos with our bridal party, parents and grand parents, which in my mind is more meaningful than a bunch of pictures of just us . Anyway... the photos came out amazing and the albums were great quality. We also got the photobooth... my family is a bit crazy, so there were some x rated photos that made the book hysterical and the extra copies for the guests to take home added to the fun. David is great to work with!! He captured all the details of the wedding that we overlooked because of how fast the night went. He works with your schedule and his prices were extremely reasonable, the best we found.

David Kidwell Photography did an incredible job at our wedding. Super organized, creative shots, professional yet relaxed demeanor. They made us comfortable and helped us feel great about ourselves. David was a great communicator, accommodated our crazy last minute requests, and made sure we got all of the different portraits and pictures we wanted. He remained flexible throughout the day and evening as plans were forced to change, and ensured we have memories that will last a lifetime. Most importantly, perhaps, the pictures came out great! It was a true pleasure to work with them.

My husband and I were married last June and David Kidwell was our photographer. David was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! From the booking, through the planning and preparation, and finally to capturing our big day, he was wonderful. He answered any and all questions I had and we communicated throughout the entire planning process, so he knew exactly what we wanted. He had the most reasonable prices out of all the photographers that we looked into, and his package offered us the most for our money. We are thrilled that we chose David as our photographer. Our pictures turned out beautiful and I am so happy that we have these photos to look back on our special day for years to come! We could not wait to share our beautiful album with family and friends, all thanks to David!

David and his assistant were incredible on my wedding day! They were both so sweet and I genuinely enjoyed being around them on the big day! David respected our space and time, but still produced stunning pictures that we will cherish forever. His passion for photography and kind nature are all you could really ask for!

David did a fantastic job at our wedding! All our photos are excellent, from the posed group photos to the candids at the reception. I was especially impressed at how he was there every time at the reception when there was a moment I wanted to capture! We'll always treasure the many amazing photos, and especially the wonderful album he put together for us.

David and his assistant were so helpful and instrumental in capturing all the moments of our wedding. Our pictures were beautiful and really captured moments of the wedding so we felt like we were in every moment. David did a great job of understanding what we wanted and even added ideas that we hadn't thought about. I can't say enough great things about David, if you book him, you wont go wrong!

In one word, David was GREAT! We had him as our photographer for our wedding at Stroudsmoor in November. We live out of town and David made himself available to meet us when we were in town and he was very responsive over email and phone calls. It rained on our wedding day and David still made sure we got the pictures we wanted. He made us feel as ease and all the pictures we got from him we’re winderful!!

We loved David Kidwell photography! His kindness and warmth made us feel comfortable throughout the whole day. He works hard and does it best to get all requested shots. He's easy to work with. Waiting for the final shots but the process and memories of our wedding were amazing and David was a big part of it!

My son was the groom. My only request was table pictures so I would be sure to have a picture of everyone in attendance. We got a picture of each table without people, they actually took pictures of 20+ tables WITH NO PEOPLE!!! AND counted them as part of the "professionally edited!" The bride and David discussed a list of pictures she wanted with names, relationship and a picture to help identify them. He brought a second photographer and a videographer to ensure they got all the pictures. He claimed to have lost the list during the reception - it was sent via email - so it could have easily been retrieved when he lost the hard copy. Some of the outcomes of him not having the list: My son was lucky enough to have 3 families in attendance, his father's, his mother's and his step father's. There is not a single posed picture of any of these groups. The ONLY extended family photo was an incomplete one taken of the aunts and uncles from both sides. One of my brothers is not in ANY pictures whatsoever, and we know multiple ones were taken in the church. During multiple stages of the planning process, David stated he was great with kids and would be sure to put an extra focus on the bride's beloved nieces in the wedding party. He said not to worry, he would bring the equipment so could even get them from across the room. Very simply, the pictures of her nieces are very few and far between. We asked to review the complete video and are still hoping for a part we knew was recorded of the bride with her niece dancing. When David was hired my son and his wife were adamant and specific they wanted all the raw photos. I asked them about this MULTIPLE TIMES. The groom's stepfather was a wedding photographer and advised them on multiple occasions to make sure this was part of negotiations. When they received the photos there were approximately 800 photos, and they knew that it was missing pictures. When they requested them he said he would never have agreed to releasing all the pictures. This has been a horrible experience, you can not bring up the photo's from the wedding without my daughter in law crying. I have tried to speak with David and he can "only talk to the bride" sadly the bride feels David Kidwell Photography has lost irreplaceable memories. The reason for the two stars is some of the pictures he took were phenomenal but his lack of due diligence on the wedding day, sadly, can not be corrected.

David was such a pleasure to have at our wedding. He was attentive, organized, kept a great flow to things, and was very good at keeping a dysfunctional family in check, which was a major stress reliever on the bride. Many guests commented that he worked his butt off until the very end of the evening and took note of his professionalism and fun personality. Very happy to have him not only as our photographer but as a guest at our wedding.

He did a fantastic job and I'm very glad I chose him as our photographer. I loved all the photos and he was very easy to work with.

From the minute we met with Dave we know we wanted to book with him. He is very passionate about weddings but has a laid back attitude as well. We did engagement pictures in the mountains with him and that was awesome! His photos were exactly what we hoped for and more. And his assistant did a great job at the wedding as well. We got somewhere around 800 pictures and we love every single one of them! I have already recommended Dave for two of my friends weddings!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one that we had with David. David did our engagement photos and was there on our wedding day to capture all of the special moments and he did not miss a beat. David did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures for our September 24th wedding. He had great ideas and was very fun and easy going, and our pictures turned out great

David delivered our photos in three weeks which I thought was very fast. He took our engagement and wedding photos and he was a delight to work with. He seemed to enjoy both events, he joked with us, and he worked at a steady clip. As the groom I didn't put much thought in to the service. Looking back I was very satisfied with David's service and I would recommend him with high regard.

The pictures that David Kidwell Photog took for our wedding were so absolutely perfect. They captured the days' events and our personalities so well!! They were ready so quickly, I was amazed. David was such a treat to have as a part of our special day!! Thank you for everything!!

From our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, and getting our pictures to us after...David was amazing.

David was amazing. He was affordable, accommodating, made the whole process very easy for us and was super quick to send us our pictures on the CD. Literally 3 weeks after we got married. It was amazing. We got married in May and we got our album and prints that were included in our package last week. He always put my mind at ease and it poured down raining and was cold the entire day and we still got wonderful pictures. Highly Reccommend him!

My husband and I had a flawless experience with David. His laid back personality meshed perfectly with my wedding party and the result was a perfect day with amazing photos. We hired David to do our engagement photos and for our wedding. He was great to work with! My husband HATES taking pictures, so much so, when we were going to do our engagement shoot, he was begging me to cancel it. Thankfully, David squashed all his fears and made the shoot a ton of fun. We even had a chance to grab lunch with him afterwards, which was a great chance to get to know him better and learn what a great guy he is. He followed up with us throughout our engagement, with check-ins to see what shots we wanted for the big day. Everything turned out great and we are so pleased with the photos we got. Highly recommend working with him for any of your big events!

The title says it all! We really love our wedding pictures! And David was great to work with as well. Right after the wedding he put pictures on Facebook and they were amazing! When we got our proofs there were so many pictures we didn't know he even took! When we told him we wanted more candid than posed pictures he said he does that anyway. And we got a lot of candid pictures of us and our guest. He was really good with the bridal party. We did fun shots that he wanted to do and he was open to our ideas (mostly crazy) as well. Overall we were thrilled with everything and already gave his name to two friends who are getting married in 2016. You will be happy you hired him!

David was the videographer for my daughter's wedding on 10/10/15. He delivered the 4 minute highlight video much quicker than expected. It exceed our expectations in both content and quality. David captured so many small nuances, a touch, a look, a moment, making this something we will treasure forever. He did this while never being intrusive. He is professional and a pleasure to be around. What he sees through the lens is what makes him incredible. True artist!

Brilliant Artist

We hired David to be the videographer for our wedding. We could not be happier with that decision. He was able to perfectly capture our wedding day in just a few minutes. I will be forever grateful that he was there and provided us with such a beautiful keepsake that will last a lifetime.

We looked at every photographer on the knot and decided on David. We are so glad we did! We loved his pictures but when we met him to go over everything we were sold on booking with him. He had the experience and knew everything we wanted to get done before the ceremony. It was important to us to do as many pictures early in the day as possible. David was with me and Melissa was with my husband and the guys at the hotel. They both got great shots of us and our families before the ceremony! The rest of our pictures are so good and we really love the night time shots they did of us! I can't say enough about how nice they were to all of our guests. They even let other people take pictures of the group shots they set up! David also took some pictures with my grandma's camera and she was thrilled about that! We highly recommend David and Melissa!!!

David and his assistant were absolutely great! From the time they started working they never stopped. They were everywhere we were but never really in our faces. All of our guests said what a great job they did all night! Our pictures look amazing! Everything from getting ready to the end of the night was included on the dvd. We keep looking at the pictures and reliving our wedding day! Our only regret is that we didn't do engagement pictures but there really wasn't time because we planned everything quickly. I highly recommend David for everybody!

David and his videographer were excellent. They arrived on time and were extremely nice! Not only were they extremely professional, they had ideas and were very helpful. All of guests loved them and had nothing but awesome things to say about them. We cant wait to see the pictures and the video!

David photographed my wedding in September and I was very pleased with his services! David was a very calming force on my wedding day which I really appreciated. He is such a nice guy and was so pleasant to work with on that day. As most brides, I was frazzled and overwhelmed but David remained calm and was so sweet all day. I had asked David to focus mostly on candid pictures and not too much on the planned, posed pictures which is EXACTLY what he did. In hindsight, I really missed out on some pictures that I really wanted. However, I can't blame David for that because it was what I had asked for! Be very specific if you want certain combinations of people in pictures and write it all down and I am sure he will make sure to get them. I did mention to David a few shots that I really wanted to get but unfortunately we never did ie. A group picture of the whole wedding, a picture of both families all together etc. I suggest writing everything down and sending to him ahead of time for review, which I did not do, so I only had myself to blame. On another note, my father passed away 4 days after my wedding and one of the first things I did was reach out to David to let him know so he could make sure to save and send me ALL pictures of my dad taken that day. He also sent me tons of pictures that same day of my dad for me to use at the funeral which I really appreciated. He was more than happy to do so and was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend David. He is very affordable and as long as you are very specific with what pictures you want you will get exactly what you want!

David did both our engagement and wedding photos for our wedding on September 6th 2015. We could not have asked for a better photographer! He was very professional yet was fun and flexible to work with. We knew from the moment we first met with him at a restaurant in Jim Thorpe that he was the photographer that we wanted/needed! He really went above and beyond with us hiking a waterfall, walking on railroad tracks, then taking night photos throughout historic Jim Thorpe for our engagement session. We had such a fun time and our pictures reflect our personality as a couple so well! Our initial engagement photo date was rained out and he was able to reschedule us quickly! Both our engagement and wedding photos were edited and back to us within 3 weeks of each occasion! He gave great attention to detail at the wedding and ensured that he took every photo we asked him to take. He also made sure to check in with us at the end of the night to see if there were any other moments we wanted him to capture before he left (10 hours of coverage!) Everyone in the bridal party (Including us of course) loved him and he had alot of fun ideas to do with the group shots! He was very open to our suggestions which we loved! In addition, he worked great with the other vendors (videographer and DJ) and made sure to stay in the background and not interrupt the event to attain his awesome photos. He also provided us with ALOT of photos, which gave us the opportunity to choose the photos we liked best rather than the ones he assumed we would like best. We would HIGHLY recommend David Kidwell to all our family and friends looking for a great photographer who is alot of fun to work with and can produce high quality results. -Jen & Bryce

David and his additional photographer were great on the wedding day and at the engagement photo shoot. We have tons of picture and we get to have all electronic copies of the photos and full rights to reproduce the photos. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars for everything is because he requested a list of photos that I wanted to have taken during the reception since I was going to be pulled in lots of different directions during the reception. However almost none of those photos were taken, in his defense I spent the majority of the time on the dance floor and I very much appreciated that he did not pull me away from that. However I assumed that he would casually ask me to gather the groups while we were dancing or earlier in the reception and he did not. We still have loads of great photos from the day and I had a blast at my wedding. I would recommend David to a friend getting married.

David is an extremely talented photographer! He is very laid back, open to ideas and creative. I love his style and he definitely captured many moments I either didn't see or forgot about during the wedding. Overall, David is a great guy and we are so happy to have these awesome pictures to have for the rest of our lives :)

David is an awesome photographer! Not only were the photos amazing (both engagement and wedding), but he was great with our guests as well. I was impressed with how he handled my 5 very energetic nieces and nephews ages 4-11! My adult guests are still talking about how great he was to stop and help them get the shot with their camera(after he got his shot, of course). David took the time to talk with my husband and I so he could capture our style in our pictures, and he nailed it! We were even done with the family/wedding photo pictures in time to enjoy our cocktail hour! For me, a wedding photographer requires more than just snapping good photos and David did an awesome job with everything! Prices are competitive, we received our proofs back in a timely manner as promised- I would highly recommend him for your special day! :)

David did a great job at our wedding and our engagement shoot. We got married on the Delaware River and he did a great job incorporating the scenery and setting. He was even able to get a shot of EVERYONE on the stairs of the Shawnee Inn, which was no small feat. One of the best things was the way he handled guests that were trying to get their own photos. He always took a second to make sure everyone got the shot that they wanted without delaying the festivities.

My husband and I got married in June of 2014 and we were lucky enough to book David Kidwell as our photographer. From the engagement session photos, to our wedding day pictures, we were beyond impressed and completely overjoyed with his beautiful work. David was accommodating, reliable, creative, and helped capture amazing pictures of our special day. He was extremely easy to work with and our wedding party loved him too!

David photographed engagement pictures (not sure how much since I did not pay for them). He also photographed and video taped my daughter's wedding and from start to finish he was a pleasure to work with. Always had time to answer questions, he stayed until the very end of the reception and took some wonderful pictures. He was very accomodating with extra pictures that I wanted taken. Even after the wedding he was available to talk with. He and his fiance Lindsey (the videographer) are both professionals.

I cannot say enough good things about David (and his fiance who was assisting him at my wedding). We first used David for engagement pictures and were thrilled with not only the picture but the way he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, same goes for wedding day. I feel he went so above and beyond for us and was so easy going. He quickly posted an album after the wedding so we could preview some pictures right away and they were stunning, he captured moments without us even knowing. Wonderful photographer, I highly recommend him!

David did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! After we narrowed it down to three photographers and met with all three, we knew David was the one for us. His personality put us both as ease and we knew he had experience we were looking for. Leading up to the wedding David and I were in touch mainly through email. He made sure the schedule of everything happening was all set. He had great ideas of pictures to take before the ceremony. We did our first look pictures which went pretty fast. After that David just took mainly candid pictures and that was exactly what we wanted. We had planned on getting a package with an album but ended up not doing that. We did get our pictures on a cd and have made two albums with them. They look great! We got the perfect amount of posed pictures mixed with all the candids we wanted and so many we never knew he took! He's a great photographer!!!

David did such a great job photographing our wedding. Even though I was a little stressed out on the wedding day (watching the weather mainly) David was calm and helped us get all the pictures we wanted before the wedding. He never stopped working and was there right up until the end of the night. When I got my proofs I was amazed! They were all so good and he had pictures that we never even knew he took! We ended up ordering a wedding album even though our package didn't include it. It was simply amazing and a work of art. I have recommended David to three of my girlfriends (including one of my bridesmaids) and I will keep recommending him!

We had the most amazing St. Patrick's Day wedding weekend, and the pictures to prove it! David is wonderfully laid back, yet took the opportunities to pull us into the perfect snowy moments. Our pictures show how much fun we had and all of the personal touches were captured without any explanation necessary. :)
