David is a great guy and a fantastic DJ. He has an affinity for pronunciation, and will not get hard names wrong. Even after your wedding if you ask him and I don’t say that you should he might help you re-create the music from your wedding as a playlist. David is one of the few things that we got right from the start. The ultimate professional,

WHERE TO BEGIN?! if you are planning an event and have ”finding a DJ“ on your checklist, you just found him. we were lucky enough to have David referred to us by friends who just got to see him at a wedding. As we told others more people about him, THEY told us they had seen him at a wedding and how he was the best DJ they had ever seen. We couldn’t wait to witness it for ourselves. David was even more than what we could have dreamed of. He coordinated a Zoom call with us months before the wedding to go over every single dream, thought, idea, song, and family member. He gave us ideas when we were stuck & he even gave us a Google drive with templates he made to make the night even more organized. with everything we had on our plate, it was so nice to know that this was checked off months before our day and we didn’t even have to think about it. Now to the day of. When we heard he was there setting up, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He is such a professional. He gave my sister (a first time officiant) a microphone after she walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid and told her the mic will be on he’s just pausing it til after I finished walking so she didn’t have to be stressed. (WHO EVEN THINKS OF THAT?!) He directed all of our guests. FOR OUR RECEPTION!! The hype he not only gave the crowd but all of the bridal party for introductions and how he never missed a beat. He followed the schedule without making anyone realize there even was one. After dinner he somehow had the ENTIRE party on the dance floor (150 people). My husband and I were so excited that we whispered, “skip this and this, we just want to dance!” because David had brought the vibes. The message got to him and he seamlessly kept the vibes going. The dance floor was NEVER empty. One of my favorite things about David - he can read a crowd. If people were swaying but not singing along, he quickly meshed in the next track. It was like magic how he knew what would get everyone singing. He played every song we asked him to. He made mashups for our garter toss and bouquet toss because we didnt know what to choose AND THEY WERE PERFECT. Every single bride and groom deserve to have someone who is going to put so much heart, passion, and hardwork into their day. That person is David. I could not recommend him more. & thankfully this won’t be the last time I get to be on his dance floor because EVERY guest has asked for his information. Thank you David for being our dream DJ!

This review is for my September 3rd wedding. I have nothing but praise for David for his organization, thoroughness, and timely communication in the planning stages. The Word doc he developed was extremely helpful in outlining the flow of the evening. David also did a wonderful job facilitating the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception setup, plus all of the usual reception activities (cake cutting, wedding party intros, etc.), and he has excellent emceeing skills. The wedding day went as smoothly as it did thanks to him. However, I do wish the dancing portion of the evening had gone differently. There was a disconnect between our expectations and David's gameplan for the evening. I worked months on a playlist that I knew my guests would love as it was full of inside jokes and memories, and I thought there was a mutual agreement that David would exclusively stick to said playlist. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There wasn't anything necessarily wrong with what was played - it was the usual party anthems - but I had wanted to avoid the typical stuff. I was busy talking to so many people that I had to ask some family members to go up and request songs from the playlist that I made. It was frustrating having to involve other people just to get what we wanted. We were also disappointed to hear an artist from our "never play" list as one of the first songs. While they're extremely popular, we have reasons for strongly disliking them, which I won't get into here. There was also another artist that was played towards the end of the night that I'm not a fan of. I asked my now-husband to ask David to change the song, to which he replied, "Well, they weren't on your 'never play' list." I never intended to micromanage, but during the stresses of wedding planning, it's not exactly easy to think of every music artist we don't like. I should note that most of my "must play" songs were played, and that I probably could have communicated my expectations about the music better. I will fully admit that I'm a Type A personality who likes things a particular way. Fortunately, my guests didn't realize what was going on, and they all had fun - I'm still receiving great feedback about the day. But I do feel like there was an assumption that he knew my family and friends' music taste better than I did, and that bothered us. Looking back, I wish I had seen signs that we probably weren't the best fit with David, as my husband and I felt overruled as clients, but we genuinely didn't see this coming until the wedding was actually happening. Ultimately, it was a successful event, and my guests were happy - only my closest friends and family members were aware of what was happening. I would still be willing to recommend David's services but would caution that expectations need to be aligned upfront. If you're flexible with music on the fly, then I don't anticipate there being any issues.

David was incredible. We threw several curveballs at him and he adjusted very well and helped make the time special! Our venue layout was a challenge when officiating the ceremony and we also gave him our first dance song five minutes before, and he put the entire show on with zero stress. Our guests loved him - he was very classy at a classy event, while relaxed and warm. David, a HUGE thank you for making our day a success! From Italy, Robert and Courtney
