About this vendor
Your wedding is a day full of joy and celebration! We cannot wait to help you tell the story of your love.
I have owned this (primarily) wedding photography company based in North East Ohio for 19 years. I switched careers because I am passionate about my craft, and am committed to capturing those beautiful and magical moments. I am dedicated to photographing the memories that you hope to cherish forever.
I take great pride in my work, and am committed to providing high-quality photos with outstanding service. My style is a blend of photojournalism (candid) and classic (formal) photography. My training with 3 of the best wedding photographers in the world shows in my work! Please look at all of my reviews. Literally 100% have been satisfied since I have been getting reviews in 2009. Not only are my couples satisfied with the finished products that they receive, they enjoy the whole process! There are many comments as to how comfortable they felt, the superior instruction they got to make the images special, and how much their guest liked working with me. This should be a very important factor in deciding upon a photographer!
I am available for proposals, engagements, and wedding day celebrations. I offer a range of wedding packages to suit a variety of needs and budgets. I usually have an apprentice who can accommodate lower budget weddings. You can enjoy a selection of beautiful photos, wedding albums, digital images, and more.
Whatever you are looking for, I would be delighted to help turn your wedding dreams into reality. All the planning and anticipation now will become a memory- one that is essential to capture. I hope that your wedding collection will bring you happiness for many years to come!

Working with David was an absolute delight from the moment we first met with him for our engagement shoot until the moment that he finalized ordering our wedding albums.
My wife ...
and I both typically shudder at the thought of having our photos taken, but during our engagement and wedding photo shoots, David was so patient, kind, charismatic, and funny that he made the sessions a joy to participate in. He is deft at putting couples, and folks in general, at ease to draw out their natural personalities for photos. David is obviously a master of his craft, with a keen eye for lighting and composition, but even more importantly for my wife and I, he is just so fundamentally kind that he was a pleasure to work with. We felt like we were in the presence of a longtime friend any time we were meeting with David.
His work speaks for itself: It's difficult for my wife and I to find photos of ourselves that we enjoy looking at, but we were so pleased with all of the photos from both our engagement shoot and our wedding shoot. At this point, David's responsible for most of our favorite photos together.
At every stage of the process, David was communicative and helped to maintain an even momentum leading into our wedding and after our wedding. As my wife and I were swamped with other wedding preparation tasks, we knew we could rely on David for gentle, unobtrusive reminders that were so valuable in terms of keeping us on task! And when it came to editing the photos and turning them around in a timely manner, David blew our expectations out of the water.
Even beyond the photography itself, it was simply a comfort to have David's wealth of experience on our side, as he helped to reinforce the wisdom of decisions we'd made for post-ceremony photography logistics or reassured us two newbies about standard wedding practices and etiquette. On the day of our wedding itself, David was even happy to volunteer himself to help assist with announcements and other responsibilities. It was so clear to us that he was fully committed to making our day as wonderful as possible.
Working with David was one of the highlights of our entire wedding process, and at this point, we can't imagine what our special day would have looked like without his gentle, kind, and guiding professionalism. He's a treasure to work with, and I have every confidence you'll feel the same way!
We absolutely loved David Paul Photography! I came across David's work through a connection in graduate school. We were blown away by his personability, professionalism, and high q...
uality of work. When meeting with David for the first time, he spent time getting to know my husband and I, asking about what style of photographs we enjoy. He spent time in our engagement photos testing out different styles and how we photographed best. David was there to help us figure out a wedding itinerary that worked with our tight schedule and helped us troubleshoot. The day of the wedding, I made a last minute switch back to our outdoor first look location and David adapted and created some of the most beautiful moments from our day. His photos are bright, full of life and personality and completely captured our day. Something we and our wedding party commented on was the fun prompts or directives David would give. It gave us chances to express our personalities and made the picture full of life and love. Also, David was timely in sending teaser photos the next day and returning all photos (800+) in less than a month. I could not recommend David Paul Photography enough!!

out the entire process. He asked all the right questions in order to have a solid understanding of our vision for the day and our wedding photos. He offered lots of suggestions based on his professional experiences and found ways to make everything work out perfectly. From shooting our engagement pictures on a frigid winter morning to our final send- off he went above and beyond. He fit into our day like a beloved family member and we consider him as such to this day. He was personable, gentle, enthusiastic and charming which showed up in the final results.

David is so great with people- the wedding photo sessions were fun and turned out so well!! He got to know my husband and I well and really understood what we wanted from our photos.
Our photos from the engagement came back within a few days and the wedding photos within a few weeks! He touched base with me several times leading up to the wedding, which was helpful. He worked with me to create a wedding timeline to be sure to capture every moment from the day, including hotel shots where we got ready. I was also impressed by his ability to capture wonderful candid shots, which are my personal favorites from the wedding day. I cannot stress how thrilled I had the opportunity to have him as my wedding photographer.
To say anything less than phenomenal would be an understatement. David Paul was the most generous and caring photographer we have ever worked with. Planning our wedding was suppose...
d to be so fun for us however there were a lot of hiccups. Our plans started with a engagement photo shoot with a different company that went horrendous. A family member introduced us to David Paul and we were BLOWN away. David took the time to meet with us and ensure we would be a good fit to work together. He went over what was important to us and what we wanted more than anything. During our conversations he would ensure any concerns we had were addressed on the spot or worked on to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Our engagement photo shoot was mind blowing. Our family and friends could not believe the job that David and his crew were able to complete. Our save the date cards were so beautiful because of those photos. The week before our wedding was supposed to be our best time for us to get last minute details completed, however there was a death in our family, and potential COVID contact. David was immediately on the phone with us to first give his condolences, but most importantly to have a solution in place for who was going to be shooting the wedding. The day of the wedding David was at my (grooms) home and I could not of been any happier. David was able to capture the most intimate and important picture for me and my parents, he was able to capture my whole family in a way that I couldn’t believe. My whole family complemented me on such an amazing person who was respectful, kind, sincere, and understood what had to be done to capture those pictures. David had a wedding already planned that day however he made time to come shoot at my home and be there for us at the church. There are no words to describe our pictures, we fall in love with each other and our pictures every time we look at them. David Paul promised us a number of pictures for our engagement and wedding pictures, we relieved the most marvelous Pictures. We can not put into words what David Paul photography did for us and our wedding, and we cannot wait for more family picture done by David. David you are no longer just a photographer but you are a family member who can take breathtaking photos. Thank you again for the Samaan’s.

ree times!!! Each time I called David panicked that he would no longer be able to photograph my wedding, but each time he promised me that he would be there! It was refreshing to have someone as reliable as David while in the stressful moments of wedding planning. After the wedding, my photo album was complete within weeks. Not only was he efficient, but the quality of his work was incredible! I love my photo album and have shown all my family and friends. David truly went above and beyond in his job. He took the time to get to know all of my immediate family members and had a lengthy conversation with me a couple days prior to my wedding to ensure he knew exactly what I wanted. I am so glad I hired David to be my photographer! I encouraged my sister to book him for her wedding and I would do so for any future bride! 🙂
David shot my wedding in September of 2019 and he was not joking when he said he is like a ninja. When you meet him, you so would not expect it but holy cow, I barely recall seeing...
him but he captured every moment perfectly! Not to mention his communication is on point. Any shoot can be nerve wrecking as you want everything perfect but he was there to talk me through every step of the way. We had a lunch meeting and were able to discuss my expectations and he added in a few that I hadn't even thought about. Very professional and knowledgeable! He kept in touch even between meetings to ensure his focus and dedication. David is also able to connect with people in such a way that you feel comfortable and like you're talking to a family member.
Sorry for rambling but there are so many positive aspects of the experience I have had with you, David!!! So again, thank you for capturing my big day <3

mfortable with poses!! Through his personality and passion for photography, we received beautifully candid photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. I highly recommend working with him if you are in the market for photos. What an artist!! Cannot wait for our wedding day!
You cannot go wrong with David Paul for your special day. Not only does David provide stunning quality of material (even before his masterful editing), he also acts as a personal c...
oach to bring out the very best in you and your loved one. Normally, I prefer to stay out of the viewfinder, but David understands that, and worked with my fiancée and I to coax out our natural selves. Looking at the finished results, you would never be able to tell we are camera shy! David also provides his services at a competitive price and is extremely flexible in terms of location, time, outfits, etc. I can't give David six stars so five will have to do.

ith us, and made our wedding and reception effortless. He was truly concerned about our wants and needs, and worked with our other vendors to make our special day truly Special.
He was willing to meet with us, answer all our questions, he was very professional, and his work was outstanding. We were thrilled with the results of our pictures. He personally came to our home and went over each picture (over 600), and edited the ones we wanted to keep.
I recommend David Paul for any event, and will give him a call in the future for any event we have. I support his business 100%!
My husband and I stumbled upon David Paul photography about 2 years ago. We saw some of his pictures online and we decided to give him a call. He drove an hour to meet with us and ...
show us his portfolio. He was kind and his work was outstanding. We didn’t really need to meet with any other photographers. We knew he was going to be the one we used! He shot our engagement photos and they turned out spectacular. He was so quick to getting us our edited photos and during the shoot his creativity was great. David also shot a boudoir shoot for me so that I could give my husband a wedding gift. A lot of women may be hesitant to have a man shoot their boudoir but David was extremely professional and never made me feel uncomfortable. The day of our wedding, he was so flexible and made sure to get all of the pictures that we had requested. My husband and I just got married 2 days ago and we already have 30 edited images. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. His creativity, professionalism, thoroughness, attention to detail, and his personality are so wonderful. Thank you so much David for being a part of our special day!

David is, hands down, the most amazing photographer I have ever worked with! I have used him for many different occasions, culminating in my wedding. His photos are amazing - vivid...
colors, genuine poses & smiles - I could go on and on. However, what truly sets David apart is the time and effort he spends with each individual client. He met with me countless times, answered my many questions and truly took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for. He took TONS of extra time at our engagement shoot to help us figure out poses we really liked, so our wedding photos would be phenomenal. His easy going personality made me feel relaxed and at ease (and I don't love being photographed!). He went the extra mile and came to our engagement party and wedding shower as well! I simply cannot say enough about the high quality of his photos, professional demeanor, communication & follow through. I would rate him higher than 5 stars if it were possible!

There's a fine line between a good photographer and a great one and David is a great one.
It was after our one-on-one initial meeting with him that our decision was made. We knew we wanted him from that meeting and canceled our plans to see what else was out there. He was also very good with communication and answered all questions we had.
Anyone can take pictures for your engagement/wedding but David Paul can make them into memories. Nice job David!!!!!

He has a very keen eye for beautiful, unique photographs and takes the time to make sure the moments that make memories are captured for a lifetime. ding in Akron, he made a point to make time for us on the weekends to meet when we would come into town. We had an awesome engagement session, and he got those pictures back to us within a week. His attention to detail and editing skills are great. We were very pleased with the engagement pictures, which are included in the wedding packages he offers.
The wedding day could not have gone better, and a lot of that was thanks to David. He touched base with me several times the month and week before the wedding, which was helpful especially due to the uncertainty cause by COVID-19. He was supportive and willing to make anything work. He sent me his timeline for the wedding day and made time to go to both places where the bridal party was getting ready to take before-wedding pictures. Some of those ones ended up being my favorites, and I was really happy with how easily things flowed. The pictures after the wedding also went super well. He made sure to get everyone in just the right place and snap the perfect angles each time. He asked throughout the day if there were any specific pictures we wanted and made sure to get those as well. I was very impressed by his ability to get the perfect candid shots, which are my personal favorite. I could not be happier with how the images turned out.
On top of being a phenomenal photographer, David is just a great person to work with. He was understanding of the circumstances we were in, and he did not hold that against us or try to up the pricing. He is reliable and there for you, which he makes very clear. I would highly recommend him for weddings and other events as well!
It was an absolute pleasure working with David for our wedding! His photography skills are top notch but he goes above and beyond in so many other ways.
He was incredibly reliable...
and trustworthy. Planning a wedding is obviously stressful and there’s nothing worse than having a vendor that doesn’t communicate to add to that stress. With David, we never had to worry. He would respond to our calls/ emails/ texts, literally 24/7 and most of the time he was the one initiating the communication.
David is a true professional. His attention to detail and his passion for his work are incredible to watch. He has tons of experience and always has a backup plan for everything. He has this ability to get in and take great shots without being too demanding or in the way like you often see with other photographers.
On top of all that, David is as genuine as they come. We could tell that he truly cared about us and the success of our big day. He really took the time to get to know us, our guests, our venue, etc. He met us for a rehearsal shoot a couple months beforehand to really learn our style too. The day after our wedding he went to work right away and sent us about 25 high quality teaser photos.
David’s services were surprisingly affordable and flexible considering how highly rated and in demand they are. I highly recommend David Paul Photography!

Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the pictures and how well he blended in and was hardly noticed during the actual ceremony.

You can add or subtract almost anything from his pre arranged packages, so you can customize what you get.
