Owner David Pressman has been in the events industry for more than 25 years, with a career that has taken him from the world of high-end fashion and international art galleries, to film studios and philanthropy.
David isn't afraid to admit what he doesn't know, e.g., he can't cook, keep plants alive, or carry a tune. What he can do though is surround himself with talented colleagues that compliment his skill sets in all areas of weddings, destination weddings, corporate and charity events. So while David can take his brides and grooms shopping for wedding gowns and tuxedos, he can't bake a cake to save his life.
As one recent bride put it, "David gets shit done." And that pretty much sums up what he does. Wedding dresses, wedding invitations, wedding cakes, wedding photographers, venues, and bands, etc., he knows the right person for the job and how to curate the best possible vendor team to make experiences that his clients and their guests will remember for years to follow.

If you're thinking about hiring David Pressman, do it. You won't regret it. He was the planner for our wedding in Los Angeles, and I truly can't imagine pulling it off without him....
If I had a time machine, I'd go back to the day after our engagement and hire David immediately, before all the spreadsheets, stress, or emotional support Google Docs.
At our first meeting, I unloaded all my anxieties: juggling a dozen vendors, last-minute changes, people-pleasing, remote planning from the opposite coast.... I was on the verge of a full Jack Nicholson in The Shining moment. Thankfully, David cleared every logistical hurdled with grace and always came to meetings prepared with practical solutions that supported my vision. For the first time in months, I could finally breathe.
David isn't just organized and experienced. He's diplomatic, calm under pressure, and genuinely cares about the people he works with. On top of all that, he's hilarious and made even the most chaotic moments feel manageable. Every vendor raved about him and often told me, "Don't worry, David's on it." He managed each relationship seamlessly, especially with the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, where he's a preferred vendor for good reason.
I'd always heard that a planner is the best investment you can make for your wedding (and your sanity). Based on our experience, it's absolutely true. On my wedding day, my partner and I were guests of honor, rather than frazzled hosts scrambling behind the scenes. That peace of mind was priceless.
David is worth every penny and then some. If you want someone who will advocate for you and bring your vision to life while keeping you grounded, hire him. Yesterday.

lings with them how professional and helpful he was. I met him for the first time the week before the wedding at the florist, and he was delightful. But what blew me away on the day of the event was the timed agendas he handed out to the bridal party, with separate versions for the parents. Everything was organized down to the minute, and he knew that sunset was at 5:42 for the 'money' shot by the photographer, so everything was geared to that moment. We were ahead of schedule all day, and when the last shuttle from a hotel was stuck in traffic, it was the only glitch, and David got creative with the schedule to accommodate the late start on the ceremony. Everything ran to perfection the rest of the evening, and he prompted everyone a few minutes early for their roles as toast makers, first dance participants, etc. He communicated clearly with the bandleader, the venue staff, the photographer and videographer, the clergy. David ran the entire event seamlessly, and we are so grateful that he was the event planner for our big event! Highly recommend him.
