Davis Photo Video

DO NOT HIRE. Wish I could give zero stars. I’m married myself and have been in 7 weddings as an MOH/bridesmaid and have never experienced such unprofessionalism by a vendor in my life. It was suspected (and apparent) by guests & venue staff that this person was intoxicated during the reception at my best friends wedding. He proceeded to make inappropriate comments to the venue staff during the reception. He had to be forcible removed from the venue by family members which of course caused a scene. Local police were called as he would not leave the premise. Since the wedding (last July) he has been completely non responsive and has not provided the video footage or a refund.

Rob went above and beyond every expectation I ever had for our wedding. He was so easy to work with and kept everything on schedule but without stress. He was so friendly and personable. He had such a quick turnaround on pictures and they were flawless. I am simply obsessed with his work. Thank you, Rob!!! Hire him!!!

We were referred to Rob by a close friend, and boy did he come through! The whole day he was super helpful, helped keep things on track and knew exactly what to do to get all of the best footage! We got most of our footage of the day back really quickly, and we were blown away by the quality of the video! We are so happy that Rob was able to shoot film for our day, and to have these wonderful videos to look back

Rob was awesome to work with! Great communication and truly cared about your video. Prompt to respond to all emails and even chatted with us a few weeks after our wedding to see what were our favorite parts of our wedding day to include in our highlight video. He truly puts his all into each video & it shows. Our 6 minute highlight video was amazing!! I’m so thankful for Rob and am so happy we have our video to watch for the rest of our lives!

Rob and his team were absolutely amazing! From the beginning, he has been very easy to work with and truly went above and beyond what we could have expected! He made himself very accessible with email/phone and worked with us wholeheartedly to get us the best pictures to remember our day! He took the time to get to know us and planned a fun photo shoot prior to the wedding. He didn't just get the job done but made it a wonderful experience. You can tell he truly loves what he does and it isn't just a job. Of note, his second photographer (Christine) was incredible--she even bustled my dress after my party tried for a half hour with no success, held purses/phones for my girls so they could walk into the reception without them, and drove clear out to our house to get pictures of my husband and our fur baby! We felt like family to this team! We are so thankful and couldn't be happier! Would recommend without hesitation!

Rob did an amazing job with Our engagement photos. He was accommodating to our busy schedule, very personable and really had a lot of fun taking our portraits, which are gorgeous! Rob made sure to get a few nice formal photos but also a kept it light and upbeat like we wanted. He got our whole session done in under an hour and we had our photos within the next 2-3 days. We LOVE every single photo and are even more excited for Rob to shoot our Wedding next year. We even recommended him to some friends and are looking forward to seeing him at their Wedding as well.

Rob was really great to work with and very friendly. He worked well with our photographers and made us feel comforarable. I'm really glad I went with him to capture our special day. I would highly recommend Rob to be your videographer.

Rob was an absolutely wonderful videographer. We were simply looking for a video of our day to capture the best moments, and he was able to do just that! He was so pleasant, able to meet all of our needs, and help us throughout our day. We recommend him with the highest regard!

We loved working with Rob for our wedding video. I reached out to Rob not exactly last minute, but probably a little closer to the day than usual; despite that, he was still able to make everything work for us. Rob was responsive via email, and was flexible in trying to set up a video chat as we live in Texas but were married in Pittsburgh. Rob even showed up to the short rehearsal to get a better idea of the space, which we felt was an extra mile that was so appreciated! Rob's style was 100% what we wanted, as we already had an amazing photographer (Steven Dray, check him out!) and were looking for the videographer to capture what happened naturally as opposed to directing us. Rob completely understood this, and did exactly that! He was not intrusive even in slightest, and captured truly lovely footage. The highlight video had us in tears, and I easily watched it 10x in a row. The rest of the video was just as wonderful! Overall, Rob's services were professional, very reasonably priced, and full of care. He's also just a very sweet guy who we enjoyed spending time with! I would absolutely recommend!

Great service, great price! We were very pleased with how attentive Rob was at our wedding. He was clearly working hard to make sure he didn’t miss a moment. He helped tweak our video to exactly what we wanted, and he made us feel at ease all day. We appreciated that he included our wishes in what he captured and made our opinion feel valued. We love the memories that we get to keep forever! Definitely would recommend him to family and friends!

Rob was awesome! We decided last minute to book a videographer for our wedding, and we're so glad that we did. Rob captured our day exactly how we wanted to remember it. He took the time to get to know our style beforehand, and we were beyond impressed by the overall quality of the videos we received. I can’t say enough good things about Rob. He was so wonderful to work with and captured our day perfectly. He went above and beyond. He came to our rehearsal to see the church and find the best places to position himself. He seemed excited to be there the entire day which made filming with him so comfortable. He was easy to reach and open to all any any ideas. You can tell he cares so much about his clients and wants to ensure he captures their day just as they want. Our video was truly incredible. We have received so many compliments on it. It perfectly matched our personalities and the vibe of our whole wedding. You can tell so much thought and effort went into it. I wish I could give him a million stars. You definitely won’t regret choosing Davis Photography.

Rob was a wonderful videographer. He came early and stayed all day, right up until the last dance - even when many photographers/videographers leave shortly after dancing starts. We are so happy that he was there to capture some of the goofy, fun moments that happened later in the night. He brought lots of equipment and fought through the rainy weather with us, too. During the planning process, he helped us find our photographer, whom we also really enjoyed working with. We recently got married so we don't have our wedding video yet, but we are really looking forward to seeing all the special moments he caught.

Rob was great to work with on our big day! He has an excellent online system which allows couples to communicate their video wishes with him. This was excellent for us since we were planning our wedding from out of state. Rob was great working beside our photographer. Rob is truly a caring person. On the day of the wedding my bridesmaids and I planned to take some videos in my bridal suite. The maid had not come to my room yet that morning and rob took the time to tidy everything up before we began shooting while the girls finished their hair and makeup. Rob did an excellent job on the day of the wedding multitasking between the bridesmaids and groomsmen. We have not seen our video yet, as we were just married very recently. From his previous work we can already tell it will be fantastic!

We had Rob do our wedding video and I can honestly say that it turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. He let us choose our own music for the background also, which was a plus. He also sent us all of the unedited footage, which was fun to go through and hear what people were saying during the day. It is something we will definitely keep forever and I am so happy that we decided to get a video. He also gave us a really good price, since our budget was so important to us. Definitely recommend!

We had almost given up on finding a videographer since it was so hard getting information from most of them - since I was in charge of most of my wedding planning (and I embodied the millennial stereotype), I wanted things to be quick, easy, and for the most part, online. From the moment I reached out to Rob, I knew he was exactly what I was looking for. Working with Rob was a breeze - he was always super quick to respond, had a streamlined process of doing everything online, helpful with all my questions, and did a fantastic job capturing all the moments of my wedding day and best of all, for a great value! Thanks a million, Rob! :)

We were on the fence about getting video for the day, but we are so so happy we decided on one. Rob was so accommodating with us not living in Pittsburgh and had a Skype meeting with us, just to get us know better. He made the decision easier by explaining how he photographs Weddings as well and gives him a kinder knowledge. He understood the importance of our photos, our chosen photographer and how to work well with them and allow us to be comfortable through the day. We couldn't be happier with how our video turned out and how well it complimented our photos. There really are things you just don't think you'll miss from the day, but with video it captures everything. For something we'll have for a lifetime a small investment in a good videographer was something we absolutely do not regret doing. We can't wait to see our finished video but from the footage Rob has already showed us, we have no doubt it's going to turn out amazing.

Rob is a great videographer and is very easy to work with. As soon as we started communicating, we knew he was the one for us. We had several specific requests and examples to show him and Rob was always willing to accommodate our preferences. He’s very laid back which helped set us at ease, and is also a master of his trade. He is professional and easy to communicate with, whether it be phone calls, texts, or emails. His assistant Daniel was also very professional and accommodating. They knew when to step in, and also when to blend in. They worked extremely well with our photographers and got along great with everybody in our wedding party. During the editing process, Rob even corrected an error our DJ made, when he played the wrong song to our ceremony entrance. Thank you Rob, we can’t wait to see the final product!

Rob was a fantastic videographer for our wedding back in March! He was very easy to work with in planning and preparation, from a distance as we live outside of Pittsburgh. He was great throughout the event and so easy to work with doing edits and preparations of the videos. The clips and moments he caught are perfect, and we love our highlight video!

Selecting a videographer was one of the things I waited the longest to do because my fiancé and I weren’t totally sold on whether we needed one or not. I definitely think it was money well spent, and I’m glad we went decided on having videography at our wedding. I would say that Davis Photography was just ok, though. I was supposed to be sent a questionnaire a few months before the wedding but never received one and didn’t realize I hadn’t done one for this vendor until about a week before the wedding. Needless to say I was really panicked that they hadn’t realized they had no info on my venue or times, but when I called, Rob sent one over and I was able to get it filled out without issue. Rob passed it on to my videographer for the day, Daniel, who was on time and polite. The footage that he was able to get was pretty good, and I’m happy with our highlight video and the huge amount of raw footage that they provide you with! However, if you’re looking for videography service that can provide you with quick turnaround, this is probably not the vendor for you. Our contract said that we were supposed to get everything with a 21 day turnaround, but it took over a month just to get the highlight video. We got everything else shortly after, but we found that the audio didn’t match the video in one clip, there was still some editing text that showed up on another clip, and the music we wanted wasn’t quite right on another. Rob fixed all of this with no problem when we asked. However, we waited for almost three months to get the DVDs that were part of our contract. Overall, I’m happy with what we got but I do think you could get a faster turnaround, fewer careless errors, and perhaps even better video quality with a different vendor.

Our video turned out amazing! Cannot be happier that we went with Rob as our Videographer. Awesome price, great quality and he was so sweet throughout the entire process. Would 100% recommend!

Rob is the best. Hands down. Kid is such a hard worker and really wants the best for the people he works with. Made the day fun and the video turned out absolutely perfect. People are still complimenting us on it. Cannot recommend enough!!
