About this vendor
Dawn & Dusk is a team of wedding photographers based out of Thornton, CO. With a specialty in elopements and intimate ceremonies, they strive to bring the romantic connection between couples to the foreground in each photo. All couples are welcome at their studio, as they have worked with clients from all walks of life.
Owner Kelsey Dawn Burrows started Dawn & Dusk in 2018. Her inspiration came from both a love for photography and passion for capturing important moments of time for her clients. As a self-identified hopeless romantic, Kelsey enjoys documenting soon-to-be-weds during their journey to and from the altar. Your genuine moments of happiness will be her main priority on your special day, and she will work to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.
From your engagement to your day-after brunch, Dawn & Dusk will happily cover your memorable moments with your friends and family. Kelsey will schedule a one-on-one meeting with you before your big day, for you and her to get to know each other. During your ceremony and reception, an additional photographer will be available to capture your vows at extra angles. Your final photos will be given to you as digital files, with options for printed photos or as a physical album.

I don’t even know where to start because Kelsey is just an all around beautiful human being. From the bubly, excited lady that ran out of her car to greet us for our engagement sho...
ot, to the fun, professional who showed up (early!!) to our wedding, Kelsey has it all. She has an exceptional eye and knows how to make you feel relaxed and comfortable, because we all know how awkward we feel to pose in pictures. Being a lesbian couple, it’s nerve racking trying to find supportive vendors. Kelsey never made us feel uncomfortable and she made sure to show her support throughout the entire time we worked with her. She is very efficient in the return time on the pictures; we never had to ask how long it would take to get them back, which is something that a lot of brides have to deal with. My wife and I love Kelsey. She’s become a friend to us, and that’s more than we could ask for. Thank you for being you, Kelsey! You are one of a kind. If you don’t choose Dawn&Dusk for ANY of your photography needs, you are truly missing out. Not only will you get pictures that blow your mind, but you’ll get someone who deeply cares about each of her clients. Xoxo

or my dream wedding day. When we were planning, I sent her a Google picture and she FOUND IT! Not only is she such a hard and determined worker, but Kelsey is genuine, kind, personable and warm. I met her in person the day of my wedding and it was like we’ve been friends forever. She made us all feel so comfortable and beautiful. I would recommend Kelsey over and over again. Her pictures are stunning and she herself is amazing :)

tiful and confident evrytime I work with her!! Her laugh and smile are contagious!! Kelsey had never been to our venue before, so she went there a few days before and scouted out some spots to shoot!! She goes above and beyond to make everything perfect!! I can't wait to work with her again!!

o get married, so the lighting for the post-ceremony photos was very harsh. Kelsey rolled with the punches and made everyone look beautiful!
Kelsey was just a joy to be around during our engagement photos and our elopement! It felt like we were hanging out with a friend we'd known our whole lives instead of a photograph...
er we'd only met a few times. She was super responsive in all of our communications with her and was definitely willing to go above and beyond to make us happy. Her personality is just so warm and friendly, she made us feel incredibly comfortable and took really good care of us. We had such a perfect wedding day and we loved the photos that she took of us. We absolutely would recommend her!
Kelsey is wonderful - professional, yet so fun! She beautifully captured our day!
We had a destination wedding so I knew I wasn’t going to get to spend time with a photographer before our big day (no time for engagement photos) so I really paid attention to the ...
social media activity of the individuals I was considering. Kelsey had such a huge presence, she was so helpful, offering suggestions for everything, including other vendors and locations, to any bride that asked. She was so bright and bubbly on our video chat and she dealt with me changing our location a couples of times with total grace and professionalism. I was also concerned that my husband and I would be a bit awkward/uncomfortable and difficult to photograph (we had never been professionally photographed before) but the second Kelsey arrived, it was like reconnecting with an old friend. We were both so comfortable with her, cracking jokes from the very beginning. The day couldn’t have been more perfect and I’m absolutely in love with every photo we’ve received so far. I couldn’t have ask for a better person to photograph our day!
My elopement photos are my most cherished items in my whole house. They perfectly captured my special day, and they are so lovely. I have gotten nothing but complements on them!! A...
mazing!!
We LOVED working with Kelsey as our photographer for our elopement. She was so responsive, interested in getting to know us, and super comfortable- it felt like we knew her forever...
! She is so sweet and seriously offered the best service ever- she even went to my house to get my shoes that I forgot on her way to the venue! She's goofy and fun, great at giving directions, fixing hair, looking out for details, and catching exactly the right light. Kelsey loves love and it totally shows through her photos. We had gale force winds and below freezing temps on our wedding day, and she was awesome at making sure we didn't freeze to death while getting some gorgeous photos. We loved working with her and would recommend booking her for your engagement photos, wedding, or elopement!
Kelsey is an amazing and talented photographer! My now husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding on October 10th. I met Kelsey through a Colorado Wedding group ...
on Facebook. She reached out to me personally on Facebook and was very personable. She was not only offering her services, but also her friendship. I absolutely love Kelsey’s style of shooting, it’s natural and realistic. Kelsey is very creative and helped my husband and I feel comfortable in our photo shoots. We will be using Kelsey to capture our future events and we HIGHLY recommend her!!
