Throughout the wedding planning, Dawn created the timeline for before the reception and helped to finalize the timeline for the reception as well. Both ladies were so nice, calm, positive, fun to be around and so helpful; they carried things, helped take shoes on and off, fanned out the dress train, stopped traffic, beared the cold, etc. Dawn and Dani were the ultimate tag team! The way they worked together, bounced ideas off each other and made sure every picture we wanted was taken was amazing. They were so time efficient and adapted on the fly. Dawn even eased my nerves when on the morning of my wedding it was raining. She followed the weather forecast and assured me it would turn to snow…which it did! Our friends had expressed how amazing she was leading up to the wedding, but it wasn't until we saw her work her magic on their special day that we knew we had to have her as part of our own team. Like many couples, we unfortunately had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. Throughout that time, Dawn was more than just our photographer. She was a friend, a sounding board, a book of knowledge for all things wedding-related and even a therapist to help us deal with the emotions and uncertainty that we were dealing with at the time. We cannot thank her enough for her support and guidance through it all. As amazing as Dawn is with the pre-wedding planning, the day of the wedding is where she really shines. Dawn shot both our legal ceremony in Philadelphia and our larger wedding ceremony with friends and family outside of the city. For our legal wedding, Dawn drove all the way down to Philly for a couple of hours to capture our small and intimate elopement, as well as take some pictures throughout the city for us. The following week, she came back down to capture our big day, and Dawn was yet again outstanding. She and her assistant were there to capture every moment, including those small, candid moments that often go unnoticed but will forever be cherished by us and our families. Again, we mean it when we say that words cannot express how amazing Dawn is or how wonderful our experience was with her. Dawn made it so easy to be ourselves in front of the camera which was a big worry if mine, I was beyond impressed that she hid my awkward so well in photos haha! Dawn also took so much stress away from me on my wedding day and leading up to it. She helped pick the perfect spot for our engagement photos, pretty much planned the entire timeline of the day, and even went out of her way to make sure my bridesmaids didn’t fall off a golf cart into a pit of mud right before the ceremony (fun times)! I knew from our contract we would have “sneak peek” photos within 24 hours and my expectation was to maybe have 10-15 pictures. Dawn, once again totally impressed us with 50+ highlights less than 24 hrs later that were absolutely stunning!! When you hire Dawn, you aren’t hiring someone for just few hours- you’re hiring someone to answer all your weird questions, someone with the eye to capture the little moments and fine details, someone who’s going to bring an extra bottle of water to make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day.... These are such small things that are second nature to Dawn, but went a long way and did not go unnoticed.Not to mention, we had 20 previews not even 24 hours after the wedding and another 300 more not even a month later.
