Dawn photographed my engagement and wedding. She is incredibly talented and personable. She coached my fiance and I into adorably candid and loving poses. We were not expecting to feel so comfortable in front of the camera, but Dawn immediately put us at ease with her warm personality. She helped make the photoshoot truly FUN! She is also a true professional in that she is super skilled, prompt, and courteous. We could not be happier with her work!

Booking Dawn as our engagement photographer and our wedding photographer was hands down the best decision! Dawn was easy-going, fun, and professional. She made us feel completely comfortable and fee beautiful. We were immediately drawn to Dawn’s passion for photography and her authentic vision. There isn’t one picture, engagement or wedding, that we do not love. Dawn truly captured everything that we wanted in our engagement and wedding photos. From the moment I saw Dawn’s photos, I knew I wanted her as my wedding photographer (and I had looked at TONS of other photographers). Her photos are absolutely gorgeous. But beyond that, Dawn is so friendly and easy to be around. I am honestly not sure how my wedding could have happened without her, as she was so knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions for her. My now-husband and I aren’t the best at posing for pictures, and my husband pretty much hates getting his photo taken. I was so worried at the beginning of this process that neither of us would like our photos, or he wouldn’t want to cooperate with getting them taken. Dawn got on his good side as soon as they met and all my worries were for nothing! He actually enjoyed getting our photos taken with Dawn and now says we will come back to Dawn in the future for family photos and more. And after Dawn had impressed me with putting us both at ease during our shoots, she blew me away with the results! She is such a talented photographer and we absolutely love both our engagement and wedding photos. I would 100% choose Dawn again for any photos I needed. I hardly ever post reviews but I HAD to because Dawn is literally the best photographer you could ever ask for! My now husband and I aren't super comfortable in front of the camera, but Dawn is an absolute ARTIST who not only makes you comfortable while shooting, but you'll have the best time doing it! We worked with Dawn for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding-- all three resulted in photos that took my breath away. Dawn was HANDS DOWN the best vendor. She was so easy to work with - she shot our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits and our wedding. She had us genuinely laughing the whole time, and every shoot did not even feel like a photo shoot. It was just hanging out & getting to know each other. She even got super creative with our engagement shoot & we loved having something a little different (lake pics) If your man feels a little uncomfy/uneasy taking a bunch of pictures Dawn is your gal!! I can’t say enough good things about Dawn as a photographer. My entire experience with her was excellent! For busy brides, Dawn is excellent at keeping things on track and making sure she has your timeline down and all the pictures you want well in advance. The portal she uses is super helpful, there’s one spot for all payments and documents and it’s easy to access. On the day of the wedding, Dawn was a calming presence and her great sense of humor kept me calm and feeling positive. Planning our wedding came with so much ease. When we looked for a venue and our photographer it was a very easy decision. Upon coming across Dawn's page we immediately fell in love with her work and her charismatic personality just by seeing and reading her biography. We messaged her for a quote and she answered immediately even while she was on a mini vacation. It says so much about her work ethics, and we really appreciated that. We later arranged a Facetime call since we were in different cities and there was no awkwardness. Dawn makes you feel comfortable and like a friend. I can’t say enough good things about Dawn! After having a conversation on the phone, I knew I wanted her to be our photographer - it was like we had been friends for years! From the first time my husband and I met her at our engagement session, we were completely at ease! Dawn has a way of making the photography session feel so natural and fun! Before I start my review, I want to say that Dawn has been our favorite vendor throughout this entire process. From the start, she got back to all of our questions immediately, and was extremely organized with our wedding timeline. During our engagement shoot, we felt like we were just hanging out and taking pictures with a friend. She made us feel at ease. She's incredibly talented and we will treasure our photos forever. My husband and I were married on March 21st, just as the COVID-19 pandemic closures were in full swing. Dawn worked tirelessly the week before the wedding to ensure that our day would be photographed beautifully. She brought us so much joy during that week. We will never forget her kindness and compassion, and consider her a forever friend.

Honestly cannot even imagine anyone else doing our engagement shoot! Dawn made our shoot so much fun, she had the BEST attitude, and spent so much time making sure we got every shot we could possibly have dreamed of. To anyone who is reading this- PICK DAWN AS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER ! She was amazing in every single aspect, she was extremely sweet, fun and helpful! She went out of her way to put together a perfectly detailed day of timeline that took so much stress off of our plate. She communicated every small detail with us and made sure everything was the way we wanted it. She showed up on our (rainy) day of with an all star attitude and made sure we still had all the beautiful shoots every bride and groom dreamed of despite the gross and rainy weather. We were unable to do our engagement shoot( due to our schedule) and I was so nervous it was going to be awkward day of but she second we met dawn it was like we had been friends for our whole lives. She had this essence about her that makes you feel so comfortable. I honestly couldn’t imagine my day without her as our photographer. Even post wedding, she has been in contact with us to make sure we are happy with how all pictures came out and honestly she will probably be someone we keep in contact with for years to come!

Dawn was absolutely incredible to work with! While researching wedding photographers her work stood out from the rest. From the very beginning her communication was prompt, professional and extremely friendly. My husband and I have very differently feelings on getting our photos taken. I want someone to tell me how to adjust my face and my body for the perfect angle and my husband prefers an "almost candid" experience. She was able find a healthy balance that met both of your preferences. Our Engagement photo session was the perfect practice round and opportunity to work with Dawn. She made us feel so comfortable and felt like an instant friend! Between the months of our engagement shoot and our October 2019 wedding Dawn checked in and kept our wedding planning in mind along the way. She sent over a timeline for photos and asked really thoughtful questions to help make sure our wedding day went smoothly. She was extremely collaborative with our other vendors which tied all our planning together nicely. Going into the wedding day I knew I could depend on Dawn as she demonstrated polished professionalism and adaptability with changing timelines due to impending weather. Dawn kept things moving smoothly as we got ready throughout the day while letting the wedding party and family embrace the little moments that made the day all that more special. Dawn was there from the very beginning of the day until the very end and captured the day beautifully. Her turn around on photos was very quick and she went above and beyond when it came to the quality and quantity of photos she was able to share with us. Our photos are breathtaking and her care throughout the whole year made for a stress-free and unforgettable experience.

My husband and I used Dawn Marie Photography for our one year anniversary/holiday card photos. This was an anniversary gift from my husband because I was unhappy with the photographer I chose for our wedding. Wedding photos are so special and you never get that day back to retake the photos that were missed. However, Dawn made this such a wonderful experience and I couldn't be happier with our new photos! She made both of us feel incredibly comfortable and instead of putting us in awkward poses she encouraged us to be ourselves and have fun. She really listened to what was important to us and made sure no shots were missed! She was also very timely and communicative so I was never wondering how long it would take. Dawn is a great artist to work with. Jing and I highly recommend her to be your wedding photographer. Our most impressive memory about her is when we first met her at our engagement section. The site we selected is totally new to her so she came much earlier to drive around the site. When we were on our way to our originally decided spot, we were told by Dawn that she would love to show us a different location near our previously selected spot. We went there and immediately loved the scenery around us which was much better than the one we selected before. Dawn was the best photographer ever! We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos with Dawn and were nervous about being in front of a camera. That anxiety immediately melted away once we met Dawn. She captured our engagement session and wedding perfectly, was detailed orientated and kept everyone on task with a calm demeanor! Dawn is amazing! Our photos were fantastic, and she was so easy to work with. Anything that I needed, Dawn was right there willing and ready to help in whatever way she could. Hired Dawn kind of on a whim as my wedding photographer. My original plan had fallen through and my wedding date was approaching. I was a bit of a destination bride so I chose after minimal research..... I tell you, someone was watching out for me that day! I honestly don’t feel like I could have found a better person to discover and capture exactly the vision in my mind for both my engagement session and on my wedding day! We are super uncomfortable picture takers but she had us talk and play out simple cinerios. It made the photos look so natural. Oh-my-goodness, Dawn is Ah-maz-ing! She captures beautiful genuine moments. Looking over the pictures she took of my husband and I at pilot mountain was like reading our love story. The pictures are gorgeous but Dawn herself makes the magic. She has a natural gift to make anyone feel comfortable and be there true self which shows in her pictures.

I found Dawn over the summer of this year and what a blessing that was! My now husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding and had not had any luck finding the "right one". Well let me tell you, we found her! Dawn got to know us on a personal level and made us feel so comfortable taking pictures. My husband is NOT a picture taking fella but we left our engagement session with Dawn with him saying, "That was actually pretty fun!" That was HUGE!! We knew she was the perfect fit for us. We felt right at home 10 minutes into the session. During my bridal pictures we battled a swarm of mosquitos leaving us all with dozens of mosquitos bites and yet we still had an amazing session full of laughs and GORGEOUS pictures! The memories we now have captured forever thanks to Dawn make me tear up every time I look at them. She captured so many precious moments on our wedding day that we may have missed otherwise and I'm so grateful for that! Dawn is such an amazing person and her photos are incredible! She goes above and beyond to connects with her clients and wants to get to know them so she can capture their love story perfectly. I can truly say she's not only an amazing photographer but now has become an amazing friend that I greatly cherish!

I have to say, Dawn deserves more than just 5 stars! She did an amazing job on my husband and I’s elopement photos at Craggy Gardens. We instantly clicked with her and she is so sweet. She helped us loosen up and actually laugh while photographing so we didn’t have those same fake smiles in every picture. She climbed up some rocks and through some branches to get a good shot of us. She would keep reminding me how beautiful I looked to give me that extra boost of confidence. I just honestly could not think of a better photographer to capture our special day. Once I saw the finished product my eyes were watering because of how beautiful they were! Now I have such amazing photos to look back on and relive that day over and over again. Dawn did such an incredible job photographing our wedding! We really didn't even give her much direction, we were so busy with everything else. And she didn't need any. I had my maternity shoot done by Dawn and I got to say that she made me feel very comfortable, (every expectant mother can probably relate to this, but we don't always feel so pretty and sexy specially when it comes to a photo shoot). I had the pleasure of having Dawn from Rosey Posey Photography photograph my October 2014 wedding. I felt so lucky to have found her under such short notice; my original photographer backed out a week before my wedding and as you can imagine, I was panicking!! From the moment I spoke to Dawn, I knew she was the perfect person to capture our wedding; I truly felt like I had known her for years, we just clicked! Dawn has a wonderful personality and is so down to Earth, it's hard not to love her. Our wedding day didn't go as smoothly as planned (does it ever?
