important to us and central to our relationship with one another, so as we searched online for photography options for an elopement, my wife came across Dawn's website and photos from weddings in Colorado and other beautiful destinations. She and her husband are both strong in their faith, and this was something that really connected us to them, though they are both just incredibly kind and caring people who made this such a wonderful process. We wanted to elope to a National Park, and Dawn was so helpful in talking through options given the time of year we were getting married. Even though we were connecting by email and phone, it was such a personal experience and Dawn was there every step of the way to both help us plan our elopement and to discuss what the process would be like before during and after. When the time came, we decide to elope to Yosemite National Park and she and her husband got there a few days before us and scouted out good areas for the wedding ceremony as well as potential areas to take pictures throughout the park after. They spent so much time with us on the wedding day and we were really impressed with how much preparation and care they put into all aspects of the day. Neither my wife nor I are much for taking pictures or being the center of attention, but they made it so much fun and we were blown away when we got the previews of our pictures. Dawn captures both intimate moments and pictures in action and has great creative ideas to bring those moments to life. This was easily the best decision we made when it came to planning this trip and our special day and such a great investment to make our wedding day everything we hoped and prayed for. (Don't tell anyone, but I almost love them more than my wedding photos!) She communicates really well and her turnaround time is reasonable in such a busy season. After our engagement session with Dawn I was worried that I would not like the more candid photos of myself, but I was wrong. Dawn is so gifted at capturing the moments that really show true emotion. The included engagement sessions she offers are super important because it helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and with Dawn. Also, on our weeding day it was BLAZING hot and Dawn did not complain, look stressed, or overwhelmed at all. She helped mee stay happy and positive and encouraged even though I was miserable ha. Looking back the only thing I would have done differently is speak up more about specific photos I had envisioned. But other than that, no complaints!
