The day of our wedding dawn and Dan were the best, so kind, professional, and overall made our day fantastic! We recommend Dawn to everyone we meet. She’s just an absolute joy to work with!

This review is long overdue, but we hit the jackpot having Dawn as our engagement and wedding photographer. Since we lived in Colorado, but got married in Omaha, we got the best of both worlds by getting to have our engagement photos done in CO. Dawn and her husband, Dan, made us feel so comfortable and had the best photo spots. She is so real, down to earth, helpful and captured our wedding day the way we wanted. I highly recommend working with her! Oh, and shout out to Dan for being our dog's new BFF during our engagement and wedding photos. :)

I have worked with Dawn multiple times for important life occasions - engagement, wedding, and our first baby. Each and every time she has made the experience unforgettable. She has incredible ideas but also listens to your own to make the session exactly what you are looking for! She is fun, laid back, and up for adventure. She makes the experience comfortable and fun. The process of getting your pictures through her website in your own personal and password protected album allows you flexibility for whether you want to download and print on your own or order prints straight from the website. It makes it so easy and seamless. I can’t recommend her enough!

When my wife and I got engaged, we talked about different wedding options and decided pretty quickly that we wanted a small elopement ceremony. Our faith has always been extremely important to us and central to our relationship with one another, so as we searched online for photography options for an elopement, my wife came across Dawn's website and photos from weddings in Colorado and other beautiful destinations. She and her husband are both strong in their faith, and this was something that really connected us to them, though they are both just incredibly kind and caring people who made this such a wonderful process. We wanted to elope to a National Park, and Dawn was so helpful in talking through options given the time of year we were getting married. Even though we were connecting by email and phone, it was such a personal experience and Dawn was there every step of the way to both help us plan our elopement and to discuss what the process would be like before during and after. When the time came, we decide to elope to Yosemite National Park and she and her husband got there a few days before us and scouted out good areas for the wedding ceremony as well as potential areas to take pictures throughout the park after. They spent so much time with us on the wedding day and we were really impressed with how much preparation and care they put into all aspects of the day. Neither my wife nor I are much for taking pictures or being the center of attention, but they made it so much fun and we were blown away when we got the previews of our pictures. Dawn captures both intimate moments and pictures in action and has great creative ideas to bring those moments to life. This was easily the best decision we made when it came to planning this trip and our special day and such a great investment to make our wedding day everything we hoped and prayed for. We can't thank Dawn and Dan enough for their kindness and attention to detail. We will never forget this experience!

Our photography experience with Dawn was incredible. She genuinely cares to get to know the couples she shoots wedding for. Not only did she guide us with our wedding photography, but she also shared her expertise with regards to other facets of our wedding. For example, she helped us with our wedding timeline and answered questions we had about the flow our reception. Every moment throughout our wedding day was captured! Dawn was such a joy to work with for our engagement & wedding photos! She gracefully handled our crazy planning while in 3 different states. On the day of the wedding she was so flexible and captured a beautiful balance of the scenes and people that were important to us. I want to first begin by saying Dawn is one of the most easygoing and kind photographers I've ever worked with. From the moment we met her it was so natural and she made the photography process such a fun, low stress process! I am one of those awkward people that can't really take a great photo on the fly, but Dawn made it work! From the first phone call she really gets to try to know you and your esthetic. She makes sure she understands your vision for your big day. She includes an ice breaker engagement photoshoot as soon as you book with her. That is really when you get to see her shine. I was absolutely blown away from our engagement pictures. (Don't tell anyone, but I almost love them more than my wedding photos!) She communicates really well and her turnaround time is reasonable in such a busy season. If you are looking for a photographer that is all about candid, natural photos she is the one for you! I searched about a year in advance for a photographer and I'm so glad I went with Dawn. She books up fast so I wouldn't wait too long if you're searching for a photographer. She also has got the photography timeline down if you are thinking about booking her for a wedding. She helped a ton with the organization of my big day. I couldn't be more happy at how she captured my big day. Please look through all the photos I've attached to really see how she captures perfect moments in time. She also travels to Colorado and she offered to shoot our engagement pictures in the mountains but we couldn't drive up in time. But I honestly might just bug her to shoot with me and my now husband in CO because we love it there too! I also wanted to applaud her because I had a very important dress I wanted to wear from my culture and she was so amenable and really emphasized that since it was important to me, that it was important to her to photograph me in that dress as well on my wedding. Dawn and her husband Dan made our elopement the most amazing experience!!! Dawn made planning so simple, she helped us pick the perfect locations, and she made sure we got the right permits on time. They both helped the ceremony go smoothly, took so many incredible pictures, and felt like part of the family in the wedding day. While wedding planning I would say one of the most difficult things to do was pick out a photographer. I reached out to so many of them and started to feel like I wouldn't find what I was looking for. I didn't want to settle and have the same pictures as everyone else. Then I found Dawn and her husband Dan. Dawn is incredibly talented, focused, attentive to detail and professional. She was responsive from the very beginning-Answering all my questions, gathering information about my vision for our day, and taking time to explain everything to me. Dawn has a natural talent of making you feel comfortable. Her husband Dan is hilarious and had us laughing-which made for some great pictures. I was worried about how we would pose and didn't want it to be awkward. She took the lead, instructed us on what to do, and our pictures for both our mountain engagement and Omaha wedding are absolutely gorgeous. When I look at our pictures it makes me feel like I'm reliving my wedding day. Her work is simply gorgeous and we will treasure our photos for our life time. We can't say enough good things about not only her work- But her and Dan as people. They are the most kindhearted, and caring individuals you'll have the pleasure of meeting. Dawn is an amazing photographer and person! Early in my wedding planning process I was extremely overwhelmed about what photographer to pick. My best advice I got was to look at the overall style of photos that a photographer has. Dawn's quality is top notch. She is amazing at capturing the authentic moments! I have always liked very posed and polished photos. After our engagement session with Dawn I was worried that I would not like the more candid photos of myself, but I was wrong. Dawn is so gifted at capturing the moments that really show true emotion. The included engagement sessions she offers are super important because it helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and with Dawn. Also, on our weeding day it was BLAZING hot and Dawn did not complain, look stressed, or overwhelmed at all. She helped mee stay happy and positive and encouraged even though I was miserable ha. Looking back the only thing I would have done differently is speak up more about specific photos I had envisioned. But other than that, no complaints! You won't be disappointed with her quality and experience!

I cannot recommend Dawn enough! Her and her husband are a dream to work with, and they made everything from our engagement to the wedding such a memorable experience. I went into engagement photos having no real idea what I was looking for, and she took great care of us from our first phone call on. Not to mention the photos are so much more than I thought we would receive! My husband hates being in front of a camera, but the entire shooting experience was so natural, light-hearted and sweet. The turn around is quick even though she's in such high demand, and the work is every bit stunning and professional. Dawn is the absolute best in the business! The reason we chose to have Dawn take our engagement and wedding photos was because of her unique style. Dawn and her husband Dan above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. We had a ring ceremony locally, which Dawn photographed and Dan officiated, then had an elopement in the San Juan Mountains. Dawn did so much research on our locations and the timing of the sun so we could have an amazing first look at sunrise, and vow ceremony at sunset. It was the most wonderful day and our photos help us relive the magic of it all. Dawn is incredibly talented with her photography and a true joy to work with. I can't recommend enough!!

DAWN IS THE BEST! There is no one else I would have wanted to take our wedding photos. She is so intentional about making the day so special and making you feel comfortable. Dawn is amazing! She took my engagement photos, and I am absolutely in love with how they turned out! She is so fun to work with and easy to communicate with. My fiancé and I got to work with Dawn to take engagement photos this fall. She was easy to set up an appointment with. We met at Lake Zorinski before sunset and I was really happy with how the photos turned out! She was good at giving suggestions but mostly encouraged us to be ourselves.
