Dawn McClannan Photo

tos turned out beyond stunning—I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to document our special day! Not only did she perfectly capture every special moment, but she also made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Her attention to detail and artistic eye truly set her apart. We will cherish these photos forever and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and passionate photographer!

gettable. They took time to help us plan our day, they listened to what we were looking for and spent time beforehand to scout gorgeous and unique locations, which perfectly matched our vision for what we hoped our elopement day would be. Their attention to detail and genuine passion for capturing our love story shone through in every moment. The photos came out absolutely stunning—every time we look at them, we’re transported back to that day. They didn’t just take pictures; they documented the emotions, the joy, and the love. We’ll treasure these memories forever. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about making your day special and preserving it in the most beautiful way, Dawn is THE ONE. Thank you for everything!

as a couple and went the extra mile to make sure our wedding was captured so authentically. She made us feel comfortable in front of the lens and the photos reflect that feeling! Dawn has years of experience and our wedding photos look so beautiful and natural. We had a big beautiful wedding and she captured all the love and joy we felt that day. I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else but Dawn (and her amazing husband Dan!). Dawn is kind, adaptable, and creative. Thank you for all the hard work and capturing the best day of our lives!

graphers out there and they're at all kinds of price ranges. Dawn isn't the cheapest game in town but sometimes - you get what you pay for. Photography is just that. Dawn isn't a fad photographer that has a side hustle for a couple extra bucks, she's very professional and very fair. What we like most about Dawn: - She's keeping you on schedule - She's keeping your wedding party movin' and groovin' - She's ready to take charge and tell people where to be in the picture! - She has a thoughtful and robust backup procedure so your special pictures are SAFE. - VERY FLEXIBLE!! You got an idea?! She'll love it and do what she can to make it happen!!

aspect. Our wedding photos are STUNNING! They are seriously more beautiful than I could've ever imagined! It rained almost our entire wedding day and Dawn and Dan had such positive attitudes, they came up with several different options for photos due to the weather, and were so helpful and awesome the entire day! The photos they captured are beyond breathtaking. Dawn was so easy to communicate with and helpful thru the entire process. I was extremely indecisive on locations and details of our wedding day and she was so helpful in choosing a location and talking thru details and things I hadn't even considered. Our wedding day was so perfect, thanks to Dawn!! I cannot recommend her enough. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much Dawn and Dan. <3

wedding dawn and Dan were the best, so kind, professional, and overall made our day fantastic! We recommend Dawn to everyone we meet. She’s just an absolute joy to work with!

both worlds by getting to have our engagement photos done in CO. Dawn and her husband, Dan, made us feel so comfortable and had the best photo spots. She is so real, down to earth, helpful and captured our wedding day the way we wanted. I highly recommend working with her! Oh, and shout out to Dan for being our dog's new BFF during our engagement and wedding photos. :)

s incredible ideas but also listens to your own to make the session exactly what you are looking for! She is fun, laid back, and up for adventure. She makes the experience comfortable and fun. The process of getting your pictures through her website in your own personal and password protected album allows you flexibility for whether you want to download and print on your own or order prints straight from the website. It makes it so easy and seamless. I can’t recommend her enough!

important to us and central to our relationship with one another, so as we searched online for photography options for an elopement, my wife came across Dawn's website and photos from weddings in Colorado and other beautiful destinations. She and her husband are both strong in their faith, and this was something that really connected us to them, though they are both just incredibly kind and caring people who made this such a wonderful process. We wanted to elope to a National Park, and Dawn was so helpful in talking through options given the time of year we were getting married. Even though we were connecting by email and phone, it was such a personal experience and Dawn was there every step of the way to both help us plan our elopement and to discuss what the process would be like before during and after. When the time came, we decide to elope to Yosemite National Park and she and her husband got there a few days before us and scouted out good areas for the wedding ceremony as well as potential areas to take pictures throughout the park after. They spent so much time with us on the wedding day and we were really impressed with how much preparation and care they put into all aspects of the day. Neither my wife nor I are much for taking pictures or being the center of attention, but they made it so much fun and we were blown away when we got the previews of our pictures. Dawn captures both intimate moments and pictures in action and has great creative ideas to bring those moments to life. This was easily the best decision we made when it came to planning this trip and our special day and such a great investment to make our wedding day everything we hoped and prayed for. We can't thank Dawn and Dan enough for their kindness and attention to detail. We will never forget this experience!

product! Thank you again Dawn and her husband Dan to making this experience so much fun!

h us with constant and prompt communication, and made sure that we both felt heard. Dawn was able to take two non-photogenic people and make them comfortable enough to take hundreds of beautiful pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime. Her and her husband, Dan, have such a calming presence about them, and they helped us take in and enjoy every moment. It was so easy to work with them, and our day flowed effortlessly in part because of them. They were able to capture the love that we felt on our wedding day and freeze it in time–this is a part of Dawn’s magic! Her attention to detail was always present, and her vision is unparalleled. She genuinely wanted to get to know us so she could be sure to capture those moments that she knew would be special to us. She provided us with stunning pictures, and we will eternally be grateful for her dedication to her craft. I would highly recommend Dawn McClannan Photo for your wedding-she was so worth it!

but she also shared her expertise with regards to other facets of our wedding. For example, she helped us with our wedding timeline and answered questions we had about the flow our reception. Every moment throughout our wedding day was captured! All of the pictures turned out amazing. We love looking back at this great time! Dawn not only is a great photographer, but a wonderful person!

lexible and captured a beautiful balance of the scenes and people that were important to us. She's so kind and felt like the calm during the storm of the wedding day and was able to handle everything. During our engagement shoot we even got to work with her husband, they are a very sweet and helpful photography duo. Would absolutely reccomend to my friends and family!

ny questions that I had throughout the wedding planning process, and was extremely helpful. A photographer is one of the first vendors that I chose. I loved Dawn’s style of photography. She has such a creative vision. We got married in a historic building/art gallery, and she captured the beauty of the building while also featuring us and our guests. She is so kind, and made us feel extremely comfortable. I absolutely loved our wedding photos. We have received so many compliments on them. I would recommend Dawn McClannan Photography to anyone.

raphy process such a fun, low stress process! I am one of those awkward people that can't really take a great photo on the fly, but Dawn made it work! From the first phone call she really gets to try to know you and your esthetic. She makes sure she understands your vision for your big day. She includes an ice breaker engagement photoshoot as soon as you book with her. That is really when you get to see her shine. I was absolutely blown away from our engagement pictures. (Don't tell anyone, but I almost love them more than my wedding photos!) She communicates really well and her turnaround time is reasonable in such a busy season. If you are looking for a photographer that is all about candid, natural photos she is the one for you! I searched about a year in advance for a photographer and I'm so glad I went with Dawn. She books up fast so I wouldn't wait too long if you're searching for a photographer. She also has got the photography timeline down if you are thinking about booking her for a wedding. She helped a ton with the organization of my big day. I couldn't be more happy at how she captured my big day. Please look through all the photos I've attached to really see how she captures perfect moments in time. She also travels to Colorado and she offered to shoot our engagement pictures in the mountains but we couldn't drive up in time. But I honestly might just bug her to shoot with me and my now husband in CO because we love it there too! I also wanted to applaud her because I had a very important dress I wanted to wear from my culture and she was so amenable and really emphasized that since it was important to me, that it was important to her to photograph me in that dress as well on my wedding. She seriously is the best and I hope this review convinced you to book with Dawn McClannan Photography!

t permits on time. They both helped the ceremony go smoothly, took so many incredible pictures, and felt like part of the family in the wedding day. Everyone who has seen our wedding pictures has said how perfect they turned out and our families have been talking about how great Dawn and Dan were. We can’t say enough great things about them- they are simply the best.

ng time. She is great at helping pose you, prompt you, make it feel natural and comfortable. I also had her husband Dan as my officiant and 2nd shooter. They both went above and beyond what I imagined from being flexible with some stressful changes to helping lay out the day, and on top of it all they captured that amazing day in the most beautiful way. They are worth every single dollar and I will recommend Dawn McClannan photo to everyone I know!

to earth and truly matched our type of energy and style we were going for. From engagement shoot to wedding day she honestly made us feel so comfortable and not shy in front of the camera. Our wedding photos were my number one thing I knew I did not want to skimp on and a million times over Dawn was the best choice we could have ever made! We cannot WAIT to use Dawn for our future sessions in this next chapter in life and I will reccomend her over and over again!!

he handled our wild crowd on our wedding day, and all the photos turned out so amazing! I will recommend Dawn over and over again! She is so amazing!

ppy that we found her website when we were planning our wedding! HIGHLY recommend, 10/10. Our wedding photos were very important to us, and Dawn made us feel at ease and comfortable knowing that we were in great hands. We cannot wait to use Dawn for all of our future photo sessions! Thank you so much Dawn!

t I was looking for. I didn't want to settle and have the same pictures as everyone else. Then I found Dawn and her husband Dan. Dawn is incredibly talented, focused, attentive to detail and professional. She was responsive from the very beginning-Answering all my questions, gathering information about my vision for our day, and taking time to explain everything to me. Dawn has a natural talent of making you feel comfortable. Her husband Dan is hilarious and had us laughing-which made for some great pictures. I was worried about how we would pose and didn't want it to be awkward. She took the lead, instructed us on what to do, and our pictures for both our mountain engagement and Omaha wedding are absolutely gorgeous. When I look at our pictures it makes me feel like I'm reliving my wedding day. Her work is simply gorgeous and we will treasure our photos for our life time. We can't say enough good things about not only her work- But her and Dan as people. They are the most kindhearted, and caring individuals you'll have the pleasure of meeting. We recommend all of our engaged friends and family to Dawn McClannan Photography. Look no further, you just found the best!

e overall style of photos that a photographer has. Dawn's quality is top notch. She is amazing at capturing the authentic moments! I have always liked very posed and polished photos. After our engagement session with Dawn I was worried that I would not like the more candid photos of myself, but I was wrong. Dawn is so gifted at capturing the moments that really show true emotion. The included engagement sessions she offers are super important because it helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and with Dawn. Also, on our weeding day it was BLAZING hot and Dawn did not complain, look stressed, or overwhelmed at all. She helped mee stay happy and positive and encouraged even though I was miserable ha. Looking back the only thing I would have done differently is speak up more about specific photos I had envisioned. But other than that, no complaints! You won't be disappointed with her quality and experience!

ngagement photos having no real idea what I was looking for, and she took great care of us from our first phone call on. Not to mention the photos are so much more than I thought we would receive! My husband hates being in front of a camera, but the entire shooting experience was so natural, light-hearted and sweet. The turn around is quick even though she's in such high demand, and the work is every bit stunning and professional. Our highlight of the entire engagement experience was running around between shots, having so much fun with Dawn and Dan!

le to capture the emotions of our day, not just the posed photos, and she completely exceeded our expectations. Looking at our wedding photos feels like I'm right back in the moment, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. I can't recommend Dawn enough!

d the correct licenses and things reserved to make sure everything went smoothly. Not only were the pictures stunning, she was an absolute blast to shoot with and made taking pictures fun and adventurous! Either elopement wedding or traditional I highly recommend Dawn to anyone who’s searching for an all-in-one wedding photographer!

uraged and taken care of. She was our photographer for our engagements photos as well as our wedding photos. I truly was beyond thrilled with the way the photos turned out. They told a story that we will remember and cherish forever. I cannot get enough of the pictures she has taken for us and I truly wouldn't have wanted anyone else to photograph for us!

rst met Dawn over coffee. She works hard to get to know each couple and listen to your vision. After getting to know each other, we booked an engagement shoot. Dawn made my husband and I feel so comfortable taking pictures. We had the best day and our pictures were breathtaking. A month before our big day, we had to completely replan our wedding because of COVID. Dawn was the first person to call me and encourage me through the process. She helped me feel excited about changing our plans to an intimate ceremony and gave us so much hope! Dawn captured moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. We are so grateful to have worked with Dawn!

k like everyone else’s that we always see. My husband and I both love the outdoors and wanted our photos to represent who we are as a couple. So I loved the idea of having the wind blowing my hair in my face and having natural and intimate photos that are real moments, not posed. Dawn gave us everything we wanted and more. I have had so many people compliment our photos and ask for her contact information. On top of the pure joy she brought to us through these photos, we also shared so many great moments together along the way. Her husband, Dan, actually ended up marrying us and also being her second shooter. Between the two of them we gained not only the very best photos to have to remember our wedding forever, but also a true friendship. These two are so special to us and will always hold a huge spot in our hearts. Everyone knows that wedding planning can be a nightmare, especially in 2020, but having these two on our side made it all so much easier and memorable.

n Juan Mountains. Dawn did so much research on our locations and the timing of the sun so we could have an amazing first look at sunrise, and vow ceremony at sunset. It was the most wonderful day and our photos help us relive the magic of it all. Dawn is incredibly talented with her photography and a true joy to work with. I can't recommend enough!!

and sent to you early/on time, and being so personable. She made us feel comfortable the entire time we were doing pictures. She really captured me and my husband’s personality in both sessions. I am so happy that I have these beautiful pictures to look back on forever. HIGHLY recommend.

and friends can not get enough of our beautiful photos! I highly recommend Dawn McClannan Photography!

husband and I never really enjoyed getting our photos taken but with Dawn it was so much fun. We had her take our engagement photos and we fell in love - deeper with each other, the photos, and Dawn. Right away we booked her for our wedding. Don't waste your time looking for a different photographer, Dawn is the best in the business.

ions for shoots. AND wonderful photos.

ous that the shoot would be awkward and that it would show in our photos... that was not the case! Dawn made 2 hours of shooting so much fun! We played music, danced, laughed, and our photos turned out amazing! We are so excited to have Dawn and her husband shoot at our wedding in 7 short months! I would recommend Dawn to anyone looking for an upbeat, friendly, and fun photographer!

don't consider myself fashionable or very creative, but that was okay because Dawn was able to guide and help us with those things. She was super fun to work with and would highly recommend!
