This expert prefers to work with one couple per day, ensuring that you will be their primary focus. A second photographer can be provided for multiple venues, and they offer flexible hours to accommodate longer events. Following the celebration or photoshoot, you will receive your high-resolution images as digital files, or if requested, save-the-date or thank-you cards.

Hello! I'm Dawna, nice to 'meet' you! Here is some info about me: I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, currently based out of Seattle, but love to travel! I realized that I had a passion for photography when I was 14, after a family trip to Alaska, and have been pursuing it ever since. I photographed my first wedding at 18 for my cousin Dani, which also happened to be in Alaska. My first ‘real job’ out of college was working at a product studio and it was there that I realized photographing weddings was what I wanted to be doing!

We loved working with Dawna! She is so fun, friendly, and calming on the big day. She was very professional and answered all of our questions well. We loved how our pictures turned out and how she sent them to us! We highly recommend her as a wedding photographer!

Dawna is first and foremost an amazing photographer. I do not enjoy getting my picture taken - but Dawna went above and beyond to make sure I knew that that was OK and that she would do anything to make the engagement shoot and the wedding as comfortable for me as possible! She and her partner were quick on their feet, made sure they knew beforehand the exact types of photos we wanted, and were able to corral our family members and huge wedding party politely. As the night went on, I barely even noticed they were there, as they were really good at taking candid photos and knew where to "hide" during the important moments! Once we got the photos we went over them with Dawna and she provided tons of shots, on a USB stick, some prints, and an online gallery. Overall it was a great experience and I'd recommend her to anyone, especially those who might be uncomfortable in front of a camera at first.

Dawna was very communicative and worked with our crazy schedule to get all our needs met. She was quick and unobtrusive, and even pulled the hair binder out of her own hair to give to one of the bridesmaids. Dawna was hands-down the perfect choice for our wedding photographer! Her communication before, during, and after our wedding was super clear, and it helped me be able to actually enjoy the entire process rather than stress! Dawna truly exudes a magical cheerful and positive quality, and just having her there made me feel calm and able to be in the moment during the entire wedding day. She and her photography partner were constantly everywhere, and yet, she was so discreet about it all. She did a wonderful job both allowing us to be our silly selves and giving really simple directions for posed photos. She knew exactly where to go in our venue for best lighting and backdrops and I could not have asked for more beautiful photos! After the wedding, we met up in person where we got to look at the photos together and she gave us a flashdrive with all of them, as well as a link to an online gallery to share with family and friends. I highly recommend Dawna! She is amazing!

Dawna was wonderful - she has a great eye and took absolutely stunning pictures! She was extremely friendly and had lots of ideas for scenic locations for our photos downtown. She was very accommodating and even showed up to the correct courthouse despite our giving her the wrong address! She and her pictures are amazing and we will definitely ask her to take any professional photographs we may need in the future!!

We had a very intimate wedding at a remote location and Dawna did an incredible job capturing our marriage day. She was professional and timely at communicating before the event and making sure our expectations were met and her's were known about what she could provide. We are so glad we picked Dawna! We were initially drawn to the warmth and joy in the photos on her website -- the people didn't just looked posed, they looked like they were having a great time. She was very friendly and easygoing and the extent of her experience was clear. It was easy for us to trust her with this important job.
On the big day Dawna and her assistant got all the necessary photos done well and efficiently, and they captured all the big moments from our wedding, as well as some that we missed in all the fun. We were so glad to see the same energy and spirit in our wedding photos which made us choose Dawna in the first place. We appreciated that she was also able to come with us to an off-site after party to get some photos of us with our friends having way too much fun at karaoke -- we will treasure having mementos from that night as well as photos from the ceremony and reception. Overall Dawna was extremely easy to work with, accommodating with our ideas for the photography, and has serious skill with a camera.
