About this vendor
Pure love + raw emotion fuel my creative fire. Before I started in photography, I was a journalist for many years—a professional storyteller. Just as then, the truest moments inspired my work and still do. If you’re wildly in love, fearless in expressing your passion and excited to bond with a storyteller to document your wedding, let me tell you more. I get overly excited about the small things in life (surprise flowers or hot tea on a rainy day), and I seek out the small things that make your story unique—the way your fiancé brushes hair from your face, the wrinkle in your nose when he makes you laugh, and of course, that look on his face when you don’t know he’s gazing at you. My specialty is pulling those moments from my couples—yes, even if you think you’re awkward. I got you babe.

Courtney is amazing! She is so easy to work with and was very flexible with all of our requests. She was very good at communicating that made everything so much easier.
Courtney is absolutely amazing. My husband and I were a little anxious about taking engagement photos since we had never been professionally photographed before, but Courtney insta...
ntly put us at ease. She guides you into very natural and beautiful poses, and nothing feels forced. When it came time for our wedding day, we were both so comfortable with her and trusted our photos would turn out beautifully, and we were not disappointed. Courtney surprised us on our honeymoon with a slideshow preview set to our first dance song and the pictures are everything. Courtney is so fun and upbeat and somehow managed to wrangle in my husband's 11, very rowdy, groomsmen. I've already told her that she will be hearing from us when it's time for maternity photos! I cannot recommend Daybreak and Dusk enough to anyone out there looking for a photographer!
We booked Daybreak + Dusk for our wedding last May. Courtney was super easy to work with, even for a camera shy couple. She finds ways to make you more comfortable on camera and cr...
eates a playful atmosphere. She also dabbles in film which was fun for us to experiment with. We loved getting to know her and her style in the engagement session, which also made our wedding day photos way less stressful.
On our wedding day, she helped keep us on schedule and captured some really awesome moments for us, all while being super fun and easygoing (and her assistant Lily was great too!). We got some sneak peeks only a couple days after the wedding, and our full online album about a month later, which is an amazing turnaround! All around an amazing photographer and person.
I honestly am very grateful to have Courtney be the photographer at my wedding. I was planning to have my wedding at the Langham Pasadena so I had to do some research on the differ...
ent venue settings. As I surfed the web researching photos for ideas, I came across these beautiful works of Courtney's at the Langham and I believed she would be the perfect photographer for my wedding. I believe that things do happen for a reason rather than a series of random events and with her agreeing to help was such a relief for me and my wife as we were close to the wedding but have yet to find the right photographer. Courtney's work turned out to be exceptional just like we have anticipated. Not only is she professional, she also happened to be a lovely lady who is super nice!
Courtney is absolutely amazing!!! She is such a joyful and lovely person and we had a bunch of fun doing our engagement shoot with her and having her photograph our wedding! I felt...
so much peace knowing she had it covered, she does a great job at finding out how she can best make you feel comfortable in front of the camera! Her pictures are absolutely flawless and I couldn't have imagined anything better! We are so thankful to have found Courtney!!
Courtney is the absolute best!!! She has such positivity and genuine joy in what she does, and her pictures are wonderful. We are so lucky to have found her to capture our wedding....
We won't use any other photographer in the greater L.A. area. Choose Courtney for any kind of event/shoot, she won't disappoint!
We cannot recommend Daybreak + Dusk Photography and Courtney enough.
We booked Courtney for our wedding and had our engagement shoot in July. We had an awesome afternoon full of ...
laughs. It was fun & relaxing. We had some serious shots & fun shots. She took all the shots we wanted & ones she knew would look good.
On the wedding day in November, Courtney arrived at the venue full of ideas and worked with us to get some brilliant photos.
A photographer can make or break a wedding and at the end of the day, your photos become your memories. Courtney made the experience a pleasure and the photos were amazing. We would highly recommend her to anyone!
Thank you again for making our day the best day ever & for making the photos look amazing.
