Pure love + raw emotion fuel my creative fire. Before I started in photography, I was a journalist for many years—a professional storyteller. Just as then, the truest moments inspired my work and still do. If you’re wildly in love, fearless in expressing your passion and excited to bond with a storyteller to document your wedding, let me tell you more. I get overly excited about the small things in life (surprise flowers or hot tea on a rainy day), and I seek out the small things that make your story unique—the way your fiancé brushes hair from your face, the wrinkle in your nose when he makes you laugh, and of course, that look on his face when you don’t know he’s gazing at you. My specialty is pulling those moments from my couples—yes, even if you think you’re awkward. I got you babe.

ntly put us at ease. She guides you into very natural and beautiful poses, and nothing feels forced. When it came time for our wedding day, we were both so comfortable with her and trusted our photos would turn out beautifully, and we were not disappointed. Courtney surprised us on our honeymoon with a slideshow preview set to our first dance song and the pictures are everything. Courtney is so fun and upbeat and somehow managed to wrangle in my husband's 11, very rowdy, groomsmen. I've already told her that she will be hearing from us when it's time for maternity photos! I cannot recommend Daybreak and Dusk enough to anyone out there looking for a photographer!

eates a playful atmosphere. She also dabbles in film which was fun for us to experiment with. We loved getting to know her and her style in the engagement session, which also made our wedding day photos way less stressful.
On our wedding day, she helped keep us on schedule and captured some really awesome moments for us, all while being super fun and easygoing (and her assistant Lily was great too!). We got some sneak peeks only a couple days after the wedding, and our full online album about a month later, which is an amazing turnaround! All around an amazing photographer and person.
