Working with Tim and the Daybreak Team for our wedding was amazing! From the moment we met, Tim's professionalism and enthusiasm for capturing our special day shone through.
The c...
reativity was astounding; every shot was carefully curated, ensuring not just a recording of moments but a true storytelling masterpiece. The attention to detail in framing each scene and capturing the emotions was impeccable.
One thing that truly impressed us was Tim's ability to blend into the background, yet manage to capture every significant moment. They made us and our guests feel incredibly comfortable, allowing for genuine emotions to unfold naturally.
We were astonished when we got to see our film for the first time. The video not only encapsulated the events but also the essence and emotions of the day. It really felt like we got to relive the whole day. Our family and friends have been stunned by the video and had nothing but good things to say.
Tim was an absolute joy to work with. Their communication throughout the process, from planning to delivery, was prompt and professional. They were receptive to our ideas and preferences while infusing their expertise to deliver a final product that exceeded our expectations. If you're seeking someone to not just document but artistically narrate your wedding day, Tim and Daybreak are the one!
Honestly, this was the vendor we were most excited to book and Tim did not disappoint! Not only were they one of the most affordable options, the quality of their work is unreal. M...
ost wedding videos I saw were cheesy, followed the same template, and a little boring. Tim and his team really capture the essence of the day and tailor each wedding video to the couple. I couldn’t recommend them more and am so excited to watch these videos for years to come!
Our experience with Daybreak was stressful from start to finish. There was such a lack of communication on Tim's part and we were provided with no updates while we waited for our v...
ideos to be completed. I paid for the complete package (Trailer, Highlight Reel, and Documentary Edit), and the contract we both signed stated that all of this would be completed in 90 days. So I checked with Tim multiple time at the 90 day deadline and the weeks after it and Tim every single time gave some excuse and kept saying "It will be completed in 2 weeks" or some other false deadline. He gave us these false deadlines at least 4-5 times, and each time the deadline would pass with zero explanation of why the videos were not delivered. We finally got our videos almost SIX MONTHS after our wedding date. But again, I was extremely patient with him and never complained because I figured if I loved my final product then the wait is worth it.
Well this is where the story takes a horrid turn because after getting my videos back, I realized our ENTIRE sparkler exit was missing. The reason we even booked them for 10 hours was so that our sparkler exit could be captured. When I inquired with Tim and requested that those parts be included, he then checked the footage to find out that those files had been corrupted and lost forever. I can't even begin to explain how heartbreaking this is to hear. Given the 6 months it took to edit our videos, Tim didn't even realize there were files that got corrupted while transferring until I specifically asked.
The carelessness and lack of attention to detail really is terrifying considering they are WEDDING videographers. These moments quite literally can never be recreated. I am NEVER going to see that special moment played out on video. And add on top of that a lack of communication, and you have the perfect storm. So unless you want to risk having an experience similar to mine, I would not recommend booking with them.
This is the all star videography team you've been looking for!! Originally my husband and I weren't going to get videographers because we were worried we'd feel awkward being film...
ed all day and we find most wedding videos hard to watch, but Team Daybreak has totally changed our minds on both! They were the only videography team I could find around Seattle that made videos that felt unique to each couple and that we could sit through and not cringe. We are so so so happy we booked them because we absolutely adore our wedding video. Ale and Dani were ninjas. They were even better than ninjas because they enhanced our day with their warm, genuine smiles, helping hands, giving our photographer shot ideas, and jokes (thanks Ale and Dani!). We barely noticed they were there, but they somehow managed to capture everything! More importantly they captured us as a couple and the outpouring of love we felt that day from our friends and family. Tim who coordinated everything and edited our videos is phenomenal. He was so on top of the communication, and I really appreciated how transparent he was about his health #COVIDtimes. Even though he didn't have COVID and only a minor cough, he didn't want to make anyone at my wedding uncomfortable, so he brought in Dani to cover for him. It was a last minute change, but they were such pros that I didn't have to worry about anything. Ale and Dani flew in from LA and got to my house and venue without a hitch. He and Ale also took the time to understand us as a couple in a pre-wedding chat and translated that and the magic of our day into the video. They used our string quartet's rendition of Ja Ja Ding Dong in the background of our video, got amazing shots of the food (we're big on the food in my family), and of course all the lovey dovey stuff like a special moment with my grandma and my mom tearing up at the ceremony. The video is us and one-of-a-kind. When I say Daybreak Weddings is magic, I mean they are magic. Their work truly transports us back to our wedding day with all the love and joy we felt in a way our wedding photos couldn't. We get to relive how our family photos danced in the sunlight of the tree they were hanging from, hear the laughter of our friends and family, and remember how ridiculously good of a time we had spraying champagne at the end of the night and making it rain fake cash. Essentially we get to relive one of our happiest days of our lives over and over again.
Tim and his team did a fantastic job - on the day they had great ideas and suggestions without being intrusive, and the final product we received really highlighted their amazing e...
diting talent. We've watched the videos many times already and couldn't be happier with Daybreak Weddings or recommend them more!
We worked with Daybreak for our recent wedding after having to postpone a couple of times like many couples through the pandemic. Luckily, Tim at Daybreak was understanding and it ...
was no problem to reschedule each time. We interviewed four videographers whose editing styles we liked and chose Daybreak because their pricing was reasonable and Tim had the most chill and knowledgeable vibe. Their packages are very customizable and because we paid all up front we were able to get a discount off the package price. About a couple of weeks before the wedding we had a short video call with Tim to over go our expectations and cover any questions we might have so that the team could capture any special footage. Unfortunately, Tim had a cold so he wasn't part of the team that covered our wedding day, but he gave us the heads up and we appreciated that he was considerate of us and our guests to not show up ill. We had John Mark, Jered, and Crystal cover our wedding day and they worked seamlessly with our photographer in getting the best shots together. They allowed the entire day to play out naturally while they captured every detail in the background and out of sight. During the detail and glamour shots, they were very easy to work with and provided great direction in creating what look to be some amazing shots. We can't wait to see our finished product and we know it will be great!
Daybreak Weddings and Tim Wong were absolutely amazing! He made everything for our wedding in Seattle easy and enjoyable. We had a Zoom call to get to know Tim where he asked us qu...
estions about our schedule and our vision, which made us feel very confident for the day of. For the big day, his team worked so well with our photography team and he made sure to capture every moment. Highly recommend!
If you are considering having a videographer at your wedding, you should definitely do it! And you HAVE to use Daybreak Weddings. From the first communication with the owner Tim we...
knew we wanted them to be a part of our special day. Tim's communication is so strong and he always replied incredibly fast which is crazy because they were hired for so many weddings this year (does he ever rest?!). He is so passionate about his business and that shines through in the way he interacts over email, Zoom and on your wedding day. Being the wedding expert he is, he also makes great suggestions for things out of his wheelhouse like he helped a lot with our day of timeline and order of events. Tim brought along Jered as our second shooter and he was also so awesome. As the bride it was just me and him before I walked down the aisle and he even was there to calm my nerves haha. They both made us feel comfortable throughout the entire day, and our flower girl kept commenting how amazing the paparazzi was lol! They arrived very early, and immediately started scouting the grounds for locations and were getting cool drone footage. They both worked really well with our 2 photographers which was very important to us. They are so creative and it is fun to watch them come up with an idea and instruct us on something we never would have thought of but we always had complete confidence it would turn out cool. Their pricing is super competitive, and there is no doubt in our minds it is worth the investment. We have had other friends use Daybreak Weddings as their wedding videographer and all of the videos are amazing!
I am ashamed for not writing this review earlier because Daybreak Weddings definitely deserves several five star reviews. Choosing Daybreak Weddings was one of the best decisions...
we made. Tim took time to understand us and what we were looking for, and made us a video that we've watched at least 100 times and genuinely cherish. Tim's video means more to us than our wedding photos (which we paid way more for).
Thank you Tim, and I'm sorry for not writing this review sooner!
We absolutely love Tim and Daybreak Weddings! We hired Tim when we initially had planned a large 200+ person wedding in October 2020. Daybreak Weddings was highly recommended to us...
by a friend who also used them for her wedding that year.
When COVID hit, we needed to reconfigure our plans and Tim was so easy to work with. He was flexible, understanding, and most importantly, compassionate, about our situation. We ended up splitting up our wedding into two smaller weekends, and he was able to rework our contract to come to both, capture both weekends on video, and the final video came out so beautifully with both weekends incorporated. We did something completely different from our original plans, and Tim was totally on board and had so many creative ideas!
But beyond all that, we could tell how much Tim really cared about his clients, going above and beyond to check in on us and talk to us not only as clients, but as a couple going through a really tough time. We seriously cannot recommend Tim enough. As a wedding couple that went through the pandemic, we've learned that the most important factor when choosing a vendor is their flexibility, compassion, and willingness to work with you during a really crazy time. Tim and Daybreak Weddings have all of these things, on top of being some of the nicest people we've ever met. And of course, the VIDEOS they make are AMAZING!! When we received our video from Tim, I cried at how perfectly he captured the sentiment and feeling of our wedding celebrations. We will treasure the videos he put together forever. It truly feels like you're watching a professional movie of your life.
Thank you Tim and the Daybreak team. You guys were our favorite vendor!!!!
Tim and the Daybreak Weddings team were absolutely incredible! Not only does their work authentically capture the real essence of couple's big days, but they are also so great to w...
ork with. We had our 2020 wedding, and like many couples, had to significantly modify our original plans. Two months before the big day, we moved our wedding from Oregon to Montana to be closer to family and minimize travel for our guests and asked all of our vendors to come with us. Tim did not even hesitate and went out of his way to make it out to Bozeman. We could not be happier with our wedding video. We are so happy to have these moments to share with those friends and family who were not able to attend our wedding in person this year. So grateful to have had such a kind, accommodating and truly talented vendor! Highly recommend Daybreak Weddings!
We recently got our highlight video and it is absolutely perfect. Every time I watch it, it brings me right back to that day. Tim did such an amazing job capturing the love and hap...
piness we felt on our wedding day and included so many special moments and details. I’m so glad we ended up deciding to do videography but more importantly I’m glad we booked Daybreak, because our video is better than we could’ve even imagined.
Aside from our amazing video, Tim was wonderful to work with. He was super responsive leading up to the day, asked if there were any specific things we wanted included, and was great to be around on our wedding day! You can also tell how detail-oriented he is.
Overall I highly, highly recommend booking Daybreak!!
First things first: our wedding video is a masterpiece. It captures the day more than I even thought was possible; not just the events that occurred, but the entire vibe, style, ev...
erything! My husband and I will cherish the video forever, and we are so grateful for all the effort that clearly went into making it. The technical and creative talent is very impressive, but the attentive and thoughtful touches elevate it into something more than a wedding video; a masterpiece that is truly one of our most valuable possessions.
The coordination/logistic part of the experience was also remarkable. Professional and pleasant from start to finish. Tim went above and beyond. A few days before the wedding, we realized it was going to rain on our wedding day. We were worried that we weren't going to be able to find clear umbrellas for the ceremony and for the pictures/video. Tim graciously offered to bring us his umbrellas, which meant so much to us during the stressful time of planning. Jose was also wonderful - Tim and Jose make a perfect team!
I can't say enough great things about Day Break Weddings. They were our favorite vendor by a mile, and we are also grateful for the friendship that we developed with Tim. Thank you Tim and Jose for perfectly capturing the most important day of our lives!
Tim and his team did an amazing job with videography for our destination wedding in Kona, HI for approximately 50 people. During the planning process, Tim made himself available t...
o answer all of my questions and made me feel confident that the video would turn out as I wanted - he was also flexible with giving us both a short and long video. Tim honestly went above and beyond during the rehearsal and wedding and he and his team had alot of really good ideas for video shots. I felt he was super professional and friendly and he was definitely one of the stand out vendors we had for our wedding. When my husband I watched the video, we were thrilled and it even brought tears to our eyes. I highly highly recommend Daybreak - you will not regret it!
The moment I exchanged a few emails with Tim I knew he was the one. He truly loves his job and it shows with his amazing work. I haven't received my video yet but I know its going ...
to be magical. Daybreak entire team was the best to be around! We added our rehearsal dinner last minute to be videoed, and Tim made it happen! I want to say his name was Jamie? Im so sorry if i got that wrong but he was such a fun guy! My entire bridal party loved his vibe! The morning of the wedding I showed no emotions, the best way to put it I had really bad RBF...Im going to blame the lack of sleep. But Tim made me laugh and he was just a pleasure to be around.
The quality of his work is breathtaking. The way he edits is so beautiful and I can not wait until my video comes out! My sister hired Tim as well and her video was so amazing he captured moments that I missed and it was lovely to watch.
Hands down Daybreak Wedding is the best vendor I worked with and I hope future brides book him and his team you will not regret it!

million times over! We were on the fence about having a videographer, thinking a photographer would be enough - I am SO thankful we listened to friends and family and found Daybreak Weddings to capture all the sweet moments that go by in a blur. Tim is the videographer you want on your wedding day!

he day he sent us the final edit of our video. He accommodated all of our requests and really took care of us on our special day. I would 100% recommend this company for any event you are having!

atient throughout the entire process. What set Tim apart from other videographers is that not only was there an outstanding level of professionalism, but he was incredibly down to earth. We had a smaller wedding, and he and his teammate fit right in...you would have never known they were there to work. It felt like we were just hanging with friends, which made the whole experience feel more authentic and true to us. We've also had family and friends tell us later on how much they liked our videographers. AND the final product was OUTSTANDING!! I have watched the highlight video numerous times, and it never fails to make me smile/laugh/cry. Tim captured the vibe of our wedding perfectly. We could not have asked for a better videographer. I absolutely guarantee you will not be disappointed with Daybreak Weddings!

ks like a movie! I would HIGHLY recommend booking them asap! Mind blowwwnnnnn!
This is a long overdue review!
Last year I was digging through different wedding videographers and it only takes me a second to look at the video and say NO! It was either a music...
video or just looks so staged. Me and my then fiancee are very particular with the wedding video that we want - natural, spontaneous, and candid with very simple music. After hours and hours of digging - I found Daybreak weddings here on the knot. I really like how personalized their videos are that they don't have their own style, every video perfectly shows the couple's personality. The price is super reasonable, fits our budget!
We were so happy to have Tim and his team! We felt so comfortable the first time we met him and having a walk through at the venue, he is super nice and very accommodating.
Then came the big day, he and his team are very nice throughout the day. They perfectly captured every precious moment yet very unobtrusive that our family said they didn't even notice there was a videographer during the day!
I like how he gets to know us and it shows on our video. I love how it tells our story, everything was just perfect!
Look no further! Best video team!
I honestly do not even know where to start with this review or how to show our immense appreciation for what Tim and his team did for us! They we...
re hands down the BEST people we worked with for our wedding and the videos (highlight + full feature) they delivered to us are beyond anything we could have even imagined!
We weren't sure if we wanted to spend the money on a video as we thought photos would be enough, but boy, were we wrong!! Everything on our wedding day went by so quickly and we are so happy we made the decision to get a video! Truth be told, we ended up loving our video exponentially more than the photos! It made almost everyone in our families cry when they watched it and we are so thankful to have our wedding captured in such a beautiful way.
From the moment I first emailed Tim, I knew he was the guy we wanted to work with. He was always extremely responsive, genuine, thoughtful, and you can tell the guy knows his stuff inside and out. He made sure to understand what we were looking for in our finished product and delivered beyond that!
Tim and his incredible team flew from the states to our Mexico wedding and captured every moment so perfectly. They brought so much equipment, including a drone, to make sure they were able to capture everything in the best way. They are true geniuses when it comes to telling the story of your love and of the most important day of your life.
If you are looking for a wedding videographer, look no further! You will not regret using Tim and Daybreak Weddings!
Once we booked with Tim, he immediately put us into contact with his team members Alejandra and Daniella, and I am so grateful that he did! These two are exceptionally talented you...
ng women and exude professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for their craft. What stood out to me most is how available they made themselves months in advance to address any questions or ideas we had for the video. On the day of, they made sure to accomplish everything we had discussed and more. They were funny and kind and even made an impression on our family members. Their impressive work ethic rendered incredible results and we could not be more pleased! The amount of tears I shed while watching our video is obscene, to be honest. Thanks again to the entire Daybreak team for making our wedding day that much more special!
Tim and the team at Daybreak Weddings was amazing! We got the recommendation from friends that recently got married and we're so glad that we did. We just got our video back and I ...
had to stop watching it at work after a few minutes so I wouldn't start tearing up in front of my coworkers. We could not be happier with the experience on the day. The video is perfect. I forsee us watching it each year on our anniversary for the rest of our lives. Can't put a price on that.
I am lucky enough to say that all of the vendors I hired for my wedding were absolutely incredible, but if I had to choose a favorite...it's Tim and his team. Tim created an engage...
ment video for us and we also just received our wedding highlight video. To say I am in awe is an understatement. We've watched both videos so many times and have gotten so many compliments. Aside from the fact that Tim and his team are incredible talented, they are also the best to work with. They are so kind, sweet and funny and just all around amazing people. Tim is super responsive and always addresses any questions I have right away. I can't recommend these guys enough. If they are on your list of potential vendors, don't think twice about hiring them.
The BEST value for your money. Tim and his team were professional, on point and excellent story tellers. They captured the perfect moments and created an awesome wedding video. The...
y even have a drone to capture aerial shots of the venue and day.
I loved working with Tim throughout the entire process and it was SO MUCH FUN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Daybreak Weddings because they're great people who love what they do and it shows through their work.

elt footages at the wedding. They were also prompt to the time schedule. One thing also that we love about them was we didn't have to worry about our time limit. They will be at your wedding through start to finish without any additional charges! We just got our Same Day Edit video copy. And WOW!!! The video is sooo beautiful! It was also played during the wedding reception. What else can you treat your guests during the reception? The guests loved the video!! We cannot wait to see the full highlight video sooooon! Thank you so much, Tim Wong and team! Also, very important that every bride needs to know, they are the cheapest yet best wedding videographer you could ever find! Check their Vimeo account to see all their works! Highly recommend them!!! =)
Tim and his team are hands down the BEST videographers around!!! Please look no further because others will only disappoint. From the first time I met Tim, he was very professiona...
l, extremely kind and easy to talk to. He met me at our wedding venue a month or so before the big day so that he could scope out the area and get some ideas before the actual day. I thought that was fantastic!! It put my mind at ease. Then we did the save the date video which was the most fun!!! We met them at the Griffith Observatory and filmed for a couple of hours dancing around and kissing. We had so much fun!!! We didn't think anything of it until he sent us back the video and we were stunned! The absolute best quality of work in a video I have ever seen and trust me- we went through a lottttt of videographers before coming across Daybreak! Everyone loved the video!!! We knew then that we were in the best of hands!! Come the day of the wedding, Tim and his team showed up even earlier than we had thought to make sure they captured every moment of our big day!! I really like the unlimited hours option they provide because you really can't put a price on the hours of the day! They didn't make us feel weird at all during the day and at some point, we forgot they were even there! They just made us feel so comfortable, and we could just be our silly selves. At the actual wedding they were there at every important moment and I never had the feeling of them missing any part of our wedding. Finally, at the end of the wedding they had done a surprise Same Day edit which was absolutely the most amazing wedding gift ever!! It had everyone at the wedding in tears!!! I cannot even begin to put into words how much we loved working with Daybreak Weddings!! We were so happy and cannot wait to see the final product!!! Not only do they produce quality work, they also are extremely affordable!! I would recommend them to everyone!!! We love you Daybreak Weddings!!!!!
My experience with these professionals was unimaginably phenomenal. We used them for our wedding in October of last year (2017). My wife and I couldn't be happier and couldn't have...
anticipated a better product.
Tim Wong is a story-teller all the way down to his DNA- he should be a filmmaker! Alas, he is using his intuitive skill set to capture weddings, he does so superbly, and I can't convey enough how fortunate I feel to have his talents bestowed upon one of the most special days of my life with the love of my life. You'll get the best sense of the caliber of his work from his portfolio, not the words of my review. His work speaks for itself. That's what convinced me to pursue his services. The icing on the cake for our decision to hire him was our in-person meeting where we were exposed to his candor, humility, unique approach to working with clients, and passion over his work. The overall experience of coordinating with the company was smooth. They are mannerable, kind, accommodating, reasonable, and flexible.
His wedding highlight videos stand apart from the many, many, many videos I have seen. He takes his time to get to know his subjects and it shows in your final product. He really nails the essence of your romance, your idiosyncrasies, and the personality of the couple. His editing has tact, discretion, accuracy, and emotion- all the best emotions. They won't let you down. Heck, if they do, I might be willing to cover some of your incurred costs with them! As a customer, I'M standing by their work! Again, I couldn't be happier and I highly, highly, highly recommend them.
Daybreak? More like: DAY MADE!

ven cried when my husband and I received our pictures and video.
Their work performance was great. Very professional. They arrived when they said they would, even earlier, and they captured all the most important moments I had asked of them. They were also super nice and easy to work with! I know at least five family members who went up to them for their information. I would highly recommend this team to any couples out there looking. Don't stress, these guys are the best! I have great memories because of them, so a 5 out of 5 for me!

deo to represent us in our vision and not just their own. When looking for a videographer we were concerned that we'd have too many people in our face during our special day but they did a great job of capturing everything without being intrusive. They worked great with us, our wedding party, and our photographer and her team. The videos have turned out so great and we couldn't be happier! Thank you guys so much for capturing our special day!

ding. He was very proactive in touching base with us to make sure he knew what our expectations and preferences were. He arranged to chat with me and my wife over Facetime (we were in Northern California) several weeks in advance of our wedding, and also chatted with us over the phone a few days before.
Tim provided over comprehensive coverage for our wedding for a very reasonable price.
Tim was very accommodating of any specials requests that we had. He also worked really well with our photographer throughout the day.
Fantastic value, professional service, warm and friendly interaction, highly recommend!
My husband and I had an intimate wedding of 75 in the PNW and are so thrilled we chose Daybreak Weddings to cover our special day! Not only did Tim and his team do a tremendous job...
capturing the big moments, they also made sure to catch so many little moments we're forever grateful to have on film.
They came highly recommended through an acquaintance and once we saw their video, we knew this was the team we wanted to book. Everyone at Daybreak Weddings was responsive and detail oriented which is extremely important to me. Best of all, they allowed our day to unfold naturally and authentically. We would absolutely recommend Tim and his talented team!
Our wedding film is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so so glad my friend referred me to Daybreak. Their customer service was fantastic (they met with my husband and I before the weddi...
ng and answered all of our questions), and they were so easy to work with on the wedding day. More than anything, I cannot get over all the little moments they captured that we totally forgot about, and how they used it to tell our story. My MOH hates public speaking, but the way her speech was used in our video makes me cry every time. If having a wedding video is important to you, you have to hire these guys!

d. They were amazing to work with on the day of our wedding (which sadly wasn't true of all our vendors) and the video we received was so beautiful that the night we got it, we watched it three times in a row and cried. I'm so happy my friend referred me to them and I'm so thankful for the work they did.
This guys are awesome! not only did they create the perfect beautiful video and photos, but they also gave us the best service and made our special day so much easier.

nd family. Since we got it a few months ago, we've probably watched it a dozen times. We especially liked how it felt like we were watching a story about us instead of a music video. When we met with Tim initially, he was very warm and friendly, answering all of our questions and even suggesting things we hadn't thought of to make the video better. On the wedding day, he and his team were extremely professional. Unless they were stepping in to grab a shot they needed, I almost forgot that they were there. And they worked seamlessly with our photographer, which was one of our biggest concerns about having both photo and video. Can't say enough good things about these guys!
