Day-of Wedding Planning

op of my list of the best planners to work with in the entire DC/Baltimore region and beyond. I had the extreme pleasure of working alongside Vanessa at a wedding this Summer at Glen Echo Park. I was first impressed with how well she planned and conducted the walk-through a month prior to the wedding, leaving no questions unanswered and no details to chance. Everyone felt confident and assured of the timeline for the day. On the big day, I was further amazed at how she managed every facet of the operation with just the right amount of influence. She knows precisely the time to communicate with each vendor, initiate each transition, and still manage to devote herself entirely to the immediate needs of the couple. She seems to be in 10 places at once! The brides whose wedding we worked on were thoroughly pleased with the entire evening and had the time of their lives! With Vanessa, you get all of the best attributes of an event coordinator including; exceptional preparedness, creative vision and design, detailed and timely communication, availability at a moment’s notice, and most importantly a thoughtful, caring connection. You will know that you’re working with a friend who you can trust. If you’re looking for a coordinator who demonstrates the utmost professionalism and at the same time the most sincere personal investment in your event, call Vanessa immediately! I worked with her once this year and can’t wait to do it again!

d a lot of it. After weeks of intense planning and a couple of frantic days of flower arranging, I hit a wall. Having Vanessa take care of all the details on our wedding day allowed me to FINALLY relax and enjoy the day, instead of being the ball of stress I had been up until that point. Vanessa is extremely detail-oriented and will work with you to make sure things go as planned. She is proactive and goes above and beyond to ensure that issues you didn't even notice are resolved before they turn into problems. Having worked with Vanessa for my wedding, and having also seen her do day-of planning for my little brother's wedding, I can tell you hiring Vanessa will be one of the best decisions you make.

When it came to planning my wedding, I selected all the vendors but wanted someone to execute my vision on the days of my events so I could enjoy and my parents/family could focus on hosting. I couldn't have thought of a better person that Vanessa to do the job! She created a timeline that helped the events run smoothly, contacted all my vendors before and followed up after, decorated the pedicab I entered on, and set up the donut wall (with name plates), in between making sure the food and halls were set up as discussed. It's not easy handling a 375 person wedding but she she knocked it out of the park!

lly enjoy our special day! I immediately contacted Vanessa Ferragut to assist. She and I had worked together on previous events and I knew that she could be trusted to run the reception and handle any last minute changes that popped up. Vanessa did not disappoint! She was organized and in control of every aspect of the reception. When the catering team was setting up our dinner tables, she noticed that the background of our sweetheart table was boring and wouldn't look great in photos. She scrambled around the reception venue and somehow put together a lovely decorative display behind our table; our photos turned out fantastic as a result! Hiring Vanessa was one of the best decisions we made and really allowed us to enjoy our wedding to the fullest!

to execute those details. I wanted to enjoy my day and not have to worry about whether the flowers were set up as I requested or if music began on time. Without hesitation, I contacted Vanessa Ferragut to serve as my wedding coordinator. In the past, she and I worked together on many events and I knew she had the personality and organization skills to ensure my ceremony and reception for 250 went off without a hitch. I also knew that if something didn’t go as planned (which often happens), she’d fix it. And that is exactly what happened at my reception when we started to run low on beer. My husband and I selected great beer which the guests loved – a little too much! So when Vanessa realized we were running low, she did what she had to do to get more beer (that we like!). Meanwhile, I didn’t have a care in the world while I sat back and enjoyed my reception!
