Dayton Mobile DJ is a full-service event entertainment company based in Dayton, Ohio. We specialize in providing DJ, photo booth, and event lighting services for weddings and other events. Our team is led by experienced DJs Mitch and DJ Dnette, who are skilled in a variety of music genres and able to customize the playlist to fit the preferences and atmosphere of each event. We use state-of-the-art equipment and offer a range of lighting options to enhance the ambiance of the event space. One of our most popular lighting options is our uplighting. We are able to control the color of our uplights to match almost any shade, and they are able to fade and flash to the music when it's time to open the dance floor. Uplighting is a great way to add some extra ambiance and flair to your event space. In addition to our DJ and lighting services, we also offer modern photo booth rentals. Our photo booth comes with a variety of backdrops and props to choose from, and we provide instant printing of all the photos as well as digital copies for the clients. For an extra touch of excitement at your event, we also offer indoor fireworks called cold sparks. These innovative pyrotechnics are safe for indoor use and provide a dazzling display without the smoke or loud noise. Mitch came highly recommended, however I was very disappointed in the day-of service I received. I am very particular about my music and how music sets the tone and maintains the flow of an event/evening. I gave Mitch very detailed playlists and instructions, written out to the minute, to follow on our wedding day. However, there were many mistakes: the song the bridal party walked down the aisle to, intro songs at the reception, and he didn’t follow my requests for the flow of the evening. The one special dance we planned for was an anniversary dance and he just didn’t do it. Also, the microphones cut in and out at our ceremony. I would recommend using a different DJ for your wedding I was very unsatisfied.

Mitch was amazing for our wedding. He kept the flow of the day going as it should, and then kept the party going. He was flexible when we had to make last minute changes, and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Thank you Mitch and your team for giving us the best day ever!

Mitch was absolutely amazing. Planning with him was so simple and straightforward I loved being able to pick and choose things I wanted for my wedding online..I could save it and come back. It really made it nice.. And on the wedding day he was so great. Took time to explain things to us before they happened..made sure we were happy with how things were going..he reads a room really well. There was no dullness whatsoever. The atmosphere was fantastic. Thank you Mitch!

Mitch truly did a phenomenal job! He was super easy to work with and get everything set with. He also was great at being flexible the day of when we had something come up and he was instrumental in helping us work through it. We also received a ton of compliments from our guests about him!

Mitch was the best!!!! He was very friendly, willing to go with the flow, and help make sure I had what I needed during my wedding. He was a great DJ and master of ceremonies. And if you are on the fence, get the photo booth! You will not be disappointed if you go with Dayton Mobile DJ!!!

Mitch killed it! He kept us on time with our ceremony/reception and made sure to play all of the music we requested at the best parts of the night! The photo booth was definitely the cherry on top for the guests. Definitely would recommend to hire Dayton Mobile DJ for your special occasion.

If we could give ten stars we would! Mitchell was very easy going, easy to work with, and made sure to ask us before there were any changes in plans. Not only did he make our songs into a great mix and get the crowd going but he made sure we were fed and had some drinks. If you want to know just how good he is at his job, my soon to be sister in law asked for his contact information to book him for her wedding!

Mitch and his team were absolutely perfect! And no, I am not just saying that, I genuinely mean it! I am blessed to say I have been to a LOT of weddings in my life and I whole heartily believe this one was the best DJ'd wedding I have been to. Mitch had everyone, and I mean everyone (even the people who "don't dance") on the dance floor the whole night. Not only is Mitch an amazing DJ but he also had all of the extras to make our day, all the more impressive. From the lighting and speakers, to the photo booth and glow sticks, I cant tell you how many people came up to my wife and I telling us how awesome he was. March 26th was the greatest day of my life thus far and Dayton Mobile DJ played a huge role in it. If you are in need of a DJ for your wedding, I promise you will be glad you chose Mitch!!

Mitch was an absolutely phenomenal DJ. I highly recommend hiring him for your special night. We used him for both our ceremony and reception. His wedding package accommodates both events to make them perfect. You can tell he is very experienced as he makes wedding night easy for you. He provides you with everything you might need to get you prepared before wedding day and then his ability to keep the wedding flow perfect throughout the night is spectacular. Dayton Mobile DJ and Mitch are the way to go!

Mitch was honestly the best! He helped run our whole reception and actually helped clear our tables and brought us appetizers to eat! Everyone loved him & I can’t thank him enough for making our day great. Also extremely reasonably priced !!

Mitch was the best. I was a bit unconventional in my music choices but he made it work. He was upbeat, helpful, and funny! He put a mini fan for our front table which my husband was entirely grateful for.

I would give Mitch of Dayton mobile Dj a 10/10 Stars if I could!!! Hands down the best of the best. He was great with helping us plan & choose songs that were the perfect fit for our day, he helped with keeping the night flowing with speeches, first dances etc. and he kept the dance floor full all night - Mitch knows how to keep the party going & interacts with the crowd all night long! He pays attention to detail with your timeline and song choices. You can definitely tell Mitch loves what he does; it shows!

Having the photo booth was one of the highlights of my wedding. It was great for the guests to use, and they saved a copy of every photo that was taken. One of my favorite memories the night of the wedding was looking through all of the photos our guest had taken and seeing how much fun they were having!

We absolutely love Dayton Mobile DJ! Mitch was not only an awesome DJ but also helped advise us on the details for the entire wedding! He kept our wedding running smoothly and everyone had an absolute amazing time! For us, his services were priceless! He did our uplighting, photo booth, ceremony music, and we used his Love Marquee letters! We are so happy that he was part of our special day and our families haven’t stopped talking about how great he is!

Mitch rocked! We were over the moon with how he ran our reception, so many people commented how awesome he was. We wanted a unique wedding at the zoo and he knew exactly how to get people up and moving. We also used his photo kiosk and if you’re on the fence DO IT! My husband’s 90 year old grandfather who can be a real stick in the mud had so much fun with the props and photos. It’s 6 months later and we still get comments over how well done the reception was and we cannot thank Mitch enough for all his help!

Mitch is awesome!! He made my wedding a blast! He really kept us track and kept the party going. He’s super well priced for everything he gave us! Backdrop, monogram and up lighting are a must! Photo booth was such a hit too and a really awesome keepsake is the photo album he does for you! Also he has so many ideas I wouldn’t have thought of. I’ve been to many weddings and he is hands down the best DJ. We only scheduled him for 5 hours but ended up adding two more hours because we were having so much fun.

Mitch did a fantastic job at my wedding! He was super helpful in planning the order of events prior to the wedding. On the day of he was flexible and adjusted when we got ahead of schedule. He had a unique way of interacting with my guests and entertaining them. Many told me afterward that he was one of the best DJs they had ever heard. He kept the party hopping and made our night very special!

Excellent job! Reasonably priced in comparison but far better service. Loved the on-line planning app! Great communication and ability to make payments on-line. We would highly recommend him! Mitch was amazing!

Mitch as the Dayton Mobile DJ was overall great! We went with the "all-inclusive" package with 5 hours of dj/music and 4 hours of a photobooth at our wedding in March 2018. While searching for DJs, Mitch was very prompt to respond and answered all of our questions. He's been in the industry for 15+ years and had good suggestions with new ideas to interact with our guests. The planning process was fluid and minimal stress on our end. The dance floor was busy and fun for at least 4/5 hours, and Mitch knew how to keep the audience going, no matter the age and preferences. Photobooth was also great! Plenty of props, guests got 2 films to take home, we got the electronic versions of all the pictures taken, and personalization of the film logo was available. The quality of service and price were the 2 main factors for us, and Mitch and his crew exceeded them. Thanks, Dayton Mobile DJ, for giving us such a memorable night!

Mitch was fun to work with. He was experienced in the trending songs for both the ceremony and reception. The online forms were easy and kept everyone planning with us on the same page. He made time to meet with us personally to make sure everything was ironed out. Everything was timed just right, and sounded wonderful. You could tell he loved what he was doing and got our guests into the fun wih his great energy. He went above and beyond with some of the crazy games he played with the music; everyone loved it and really enjoyed themselves. I highly recomend letting him play his Apples-to-Apples and Scavenger Hunt.

Pre-Wedding:: My wife and I met with Dayton Mobile DJ (DMDJ) two times and emailed them throughout the planning process asking questions. DMDJ was always professional and prompt with responses while providing very useful feedback and freedom on what my wife and I wanted to do for our reception music. Wedding:: During the reception, we feel DMDJ did a fantastic job keeping my wife and I informed of the upcoming reception events (e.g. cake cutting, first dance, etc.) and even making sure we had drinks during the dinner service. My only negative comment was that I wished he was dressed slightly more formal during the reception, but the positives greatly outweigh that single negative. We wouldn’t hesitate to use DMDJ again.

He was awesome and very accommodating at every meeting that we had. I felt very excited to have him as our Dj. He seemed organized and on point with everything.... Until the day of the wedding. He came to me 2 min before I was to walk down the aisle and asked me what were the songs again. Then the song we were supposed to go back down the aisle to was wrong. Then right before we were to be announced he said that we didn't send him the table music (instead of table numbers we had songs to dismiss the tables). That was untrue bc we were so organized! We had pre ceremony music, ceremony, cocktail hour, guest tables, reception music and we had them linked to YouTube so he knew exactly what we wanted. Then he mysteriously found it but didn't have any of the music downloaded so it wasn't available. So he scrambled to try and get it and some of the songs were still wrong. I could go on but needless to say I was extremely disappointed and felt mislead by him. Maybe he was having an off day. However, you pay someone for their services and especially and the biggest day of your life, you would expect a little more professionalism. Please don't be mislead like I was.
