Best decision choosing DC Beauty Squad and working with Audrey for one of the most special days of my life! I was a late planner when it came to the beauty details for my wedding. As my day was approaching (July 26th, 2019), I was on the Wedding Wire and The Knot App searching for a makeup artist that would provide the quality of work I was looking for with a portfolio featuring varied skin tones as I am latina with medium/dark skin tone. I needed someone that would be comfortable matching my skin tone. Again best decision, Audrey was thorough asking questions getting to know the details and what I was looking for as well as providing information regarding her services. Pricing and services were very reasonable and I trusted her. She is a sweet and genuine person that made sure I received what I wanted and was very thorough and delicate through the whole process as I was hoping it to be. Also, I had an outdoor ceremony and reception from noon to 11pm during July! I needed makeup that would last and needed little maintenance as I have oily skin - I only had to blot a few times due to the heat and activities going on during the day but all the makeup stayed in place and lasted. I absolutely loved my makeup and hair! I received many compliments throughout the day and my pictures turned out beautifully!! She also worked on my mother, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. I normally don't see all 3 ladies with makeup or hair done and they looked amazing! We were all very appreciative of Audrey! I would highly recommend DC Beauty Squad not only for your wedding day but any special event really!

Audrey has a way with people and kids. She makes you feel completely comfortable with her. She is friendly and is very knowledgeable of products. I believe she specializes in makeup. She is very talented and works with you on your look. I would recommend a trial with her if you are wanting something specific for hair. She knows everything you need to know about extensions! She wants to make sure you are comfortable and confident on your big day. She was excellent with our time frame and even fixed the flower girls hair after an impromptu dance competition before they headed down the aisle. She treated her clients as friends. Thank you for being there for us on our wedding day!

Audrey was more than amazing! Really - my family and friends loved her so much that now they want to do professional make up just to hang out with Audrey and look as beautiful as she made us look on my wedding day! I am so glad that I chose Audrey to do my bridal hair and make up. I even told her before we started working together that I had a couple of bad experiences in the past, and she completely blew me away with her work. She is also super fun, kind, and a pleasure to be around in general, but most importantly, she really listens. After our trial I gave her feedback, and she made sure that my wedding day make up was EXACTLY as I wanted it. I could not recommend Audrey more! Audrey is AMAZING. She has been my go-to girl for all things hair and makeup. I used her for a few military balls, weddings, and photoshoots, and my makeup always stays in tact all day, and looks amazing both in person and in photos. I recently tried her airbrushing package and HIGHLY recommend it! Makeup stayed on all day and felt light, despite giving full coverage. Audrey has great communication skills that make working with her easy and fun. She offers great suggestions and ultimately does exactly what you agreed upon. I will definitely be a lifetime customer of DC Beauty Squad and am excited for my next event!
