About this vendor
Located in Fresno, CA, DC Photography Studios is a consummate wedding photography business dedicated to capturing your natural beauty. Serving couples throughout California and beyond, the pair behind the lens consider DC to be more of a family than a company. The owners, Scott and Sara, encourage their couples not to feel like they should play a role, but to be themselves. With a cutting-edge, photojournalistic-style, they are eager to express your character and unique relationship through their timeless and high-quality snapshots. Committed to telling your love story, this duo will strive to produce spellbinding wedding photography that will forever give you joy.
Though The Golden State is their home, this expert duo is itching to travel . They mainly photograph newlyweds in the Central Valley, Bay Area and Central Coast areas, but they are always up for an adventure. Wherever you are, these wayfaring lens-lovers are excited to trot the globe photographing unforgettable images for couples from every walk of life. Want to marry in a SiberianTundra? Sara and Scott will put on their thermal boots and arrive with their DSLRs.
Though this duo share a contemporary style, they both bring unique qualities to the mix. Sara focuses in on the candid shot. She doesn’t want you to strike a pose or pull a Zoolander, she wants to capture your essence and the spark that made you fall in love. Scott is adept at dramatic effects, and fond of wide perspectives with a cinematic flair. They are happy to adapt these traits to suit your preferences, as your satisfaction is their highest priority.
DC Photography Studios offers a selection of packages designed to make your photography process as easy as possible. The Adventurous Elopements package offers up to three hours of coverage and online gallery access, whereas the Adventurous Sessions option offers much more. These features include whole-day coverage, planning assistance and an unlimited online gallery. If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’re looking for a good photographer. Well, how about two amazing ones? That’s DC Photo. Scott and Sara are true visionaries. To my wife and I, w...
e see a location. To Scott and Sara, they see a backdrop that they can transform into the most beautiful location. Photos are something you get to keep forever and you can look back at. So why not book with a company that makes every photo flawless? Not only are their photos amazing, but you will have the time of your life. Our sessions were not just something we “had to do”. They were something we looked forward to thanks to Scott and Sara. They are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They are so easy to get along with and they will make you feel the best you’ve ever felt. If Picasso and Monet had cameras, they’d be named Scott and Sara.
Sara and Scott are truly the best of the best. They supported our unique vision and aesthetic and ran with it more than we could ever hope for. They worked tirelessly to make both ...
our engagement photo session and our wedding magical experiences, and the photos speak for themselves. We are blown away by what they capture. Their composition and dramatic use of landscape are unique in the game, and we highly recommend anyone and everyone to hire DC. There is no other photography vendor that could come close to what they offer, and we hope that they continue to thrive. Thank you both!

Sara and Scott are more than photographers/videographers, they MAKE your day! Guys I had no idea how much this vendor would play a role in the enjoyment and value of our wedding da...
y, do yourself a favor and hire them!
We were on the fence of whether or not to hire a videographer. And I have zero regrets. Actually I do have a regret... I regret not hiring them to do both our photo and our video. Our video amazing! They showed up and brought their A game and flooded the room with instant energy that lasted the whole day. The only reason the day flowed so well was because of them. They interview you beforehand and find out how you want your day to go and what you want in your video and they make it happen.
The other positive about Sara and Scott, which I found was lacking in every other vendor, was professionalism. The whole process was clear and there was great communication. They delivered on everything they promised and more!!
Thank you Sara and Scott from the bottom of our hearts. Our wedding video means so much to us. And the memories from how great you made our day will forever be a highlight.
Scott and Sara were an absolute dream to work with. We are so sad we didn't also use them for our engagement photos (we found them after the fact). They really helped us through th...
e entire day, as well as taking the most amazing photos. We really appreciated their help even with small things like giving us advice on our timeline or telling us how couples usually cut the cake. (We were so lost!) We had a massive bridal party and they made each bridesmaid/groomsman look amazing. We are still trying to find reasons to post our wedding photos. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Check out their website and take our word for it... BOOK THEM!
Jennifer was an absolute gem to work with! Her cupcakes were delicious and the Rubik's Cube groom cake was a work of art. We received many compliments on both!

If you're a shy or awkward couple like we were, I HIGHLY recommend Sara and Scott! These two were so cool and so fun, we were able to relax and just have fun in no time flat. We di...
d a mixed family session/engagement shoot and our family (parents, siblings) really, really liked them too! Scott has a great eye for composition and lighting, and Sara seems to be able to read his mind. Their communication to one another is so smooth; they always knew where the other one was or would be going for a particular angle, or which lens to switch to with barely a word or gesture. It was fun watching them work their craft, and even more fun being their muse. For our adventure elopement, we couldn't have asked for better photographers. Every photo we share gets the same "oh my gosh! That's INCREDIBLE!" reaction. We are so, so pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Much love, Sara and Scott! You guys rock!
The best. Simply, the best! They are so creative with their cameras, take amazing shots, and have wonderful personalities. During our engagement shoot, we had such a blast. Laughin...
g pretty much the whole day. Once the pictures became available, I was even more in love. Such a wonderful duo, I love having them as my photographers.
If I could give more stars I would! We could not be happier with the services we received from Sara and Scott! They are an amazing team. We would hire them again in a heartbeat, so...
much energy and creativity from both of them. We had a stunning engagement photo session in San Francisco and we have received so many compliments on the beautiful photos. Our wedding day photo timeline was very well organized. Sara is only a text message away she is definitely on top of her customer service. We are very happy & excited to see the rest of our wedding photos, so far the sneak peeks are breathtaking! We recommend DC Photography to anyone who is still looking for a wedding photographer. Thank you for everything DC Photography!
Sara and Scott are amazing! I would hire them again in a heartbeat for any event. I've gotten SO many compliments on our engagement and wedding pictures and I couldn't be happier. ...
They are worth every penny! They fit the style of photo we wanted (not a lot of posed pictures, mostly spontaneous, fun photos). My and my fiance's personalities meshed immediately with theirs (they're fun, personable professionals who produce outstanding work). Sara and Scott have a great eye for details and unique shots. They respond quickly to all forms of communication (texts, emails, calls). They create and provide a photo timeline for your wedding and keep things moving smoothly. They take and accommodate requests for specific wedding photos. They blend in with the crowd so you never know they're even there. Many times I looked at a photo and thought "How did they get that picture? I don't even remember them being there!" They are flexible with changes as necessary. They do a fabulous job working with other vendors and come highly recommended by all. I've recommended DC Photo to all my friends who are getting married and will continue to do so without hesitation. I can't say enough great things about Sara and Scott! They were an integral part of our wedding and helped make it an amazing day!
