DC sound DJ are awesome. Vince was so helpful prior to the wedding, easy to communicate with to help plan how we wanted our reception to go. During the reception David was great with introductions and announcements throughout the night, and helping out in many other ways to try to keep our timeline on track, even though we got behind from some other unforeseen issues. They made sure they played what we wanted to hear, and if there was a questionable song request they checked with us first before playing it. I highly recommend DC sound DJ for anyone planning a Pittsburgh wedding! They are the best!!!

Vince and Dave were absolutely incredible! The music played all evening was perfect. They kept the dance floor packed all night and played every song we asked for. Dave and Vince were WONDERFUL! Not only do you get a DJ, you also get a MC, assistant and someone to organize the itinerary! They are the sweetest brothers who remain professional and dress the part! Dave wore a tie to match my girls’ dresses and brought us water after we were sweating outside getting pictures! Vince helped me pick great songs when I struggled to think of the perfect ones! Vince and David nailed it. I feel like we threw a couple of curveballs their way the day of (my timeline was off and we arrived much earlier than expected), but they handled everything perfectly. My wife and I were totally satisfied and impressed by DC Sound DJ! Vince and David did a great job and were one of the main reasons why our wedding day was so perfect. Its important to have an awesome DJ for any wedding. The DJ is the life of the party and these guys didn't disappoint. Vince was great from the beginning of the process, he spent over an hour on the phone with us 6 months in advance discussing their services. He offered personalized introductions for the wedding party and personalized love story for the bride and groom. We felt this was a great touch although in the end decided to keep things more traditional. Vince understood and was very accommodating. Vince met us a month in advance to discuss the intricacies of our day, this was very helpful and reassuring. Overall I felt planning was hassle free with Vince. The day of our wedding went great they handled the sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We met David the designated MC the afternoon of our wedding. He immediately had us laughing and was joking around with myself and groomsmen. I honestly got the feeling that David was a buddy of mine that I knew for years. You could tell he had a knack for reading people and making people laugh. I felt comfortable with him right away and he didn't let us down. The day went perfect Vince played music that kept people on the dance floor and having a great time. David kept the party organized and flowing. One thing we really appreciated was Davids willingness to address any issues that my wife and i had through the night. He told us before the reception that if we had any problems or needs to address it with him and he would take care of it. We had a buffet dinner and wanted to be served at our table by the event staff. We spoke to David and it was handled. He even helped decorate the unity candle table that had to be set up inside due to windy conditions outside. ( Our ceremony was outside on top of a mountain). It was those things that really made us happy and helped us enjoy the day with little stress. David also had an uncanny ability to play off the crowd. He poked fun at certain guests that he sensed had a good sense of humor. This kept everyone engaged and laughing through out the night. Vince played the music we wanted and even adapted to my request of shortening the long mother son dance song which my mother requested. The duo was very flexible and professional. My wife and I were very pleased with the job they did on our wedding day. I have no reservation in recommending DC Sound DJ for a wedding or event.

Vince and Dave are a pleasure to work with! From start to finish they were wonderful! They did my sister's wedding last year, and my wedding last month. DJ Sound was the best choice for our wedding! Vince was able to read the crowd and always made sure the best music for our guests was playing. David was incredible as an MC. Not only did he really hype people up, but he helped us with other aspects of our wedding to take the stress off of us (communicating with other vendors, looking for certain people in the crowd, etc.). I don't usually write reviews, but this review is definitely worth writing! Vince and Dave DeMarco were the best decision we made about our wedding! Not only were they extremely professional, but they made the entire night from making sure things ran smoothly to setting the tone for a blast of a night. We got so many compliments from our guests about how fun they were. Guests who haven't even started planning events wanted their names to ensure that they got these DJs if an event ever came up. They go the extra mile to make sure your day is special. You absolutely half to pick these DJs! Even days after the wedding, people are still bringing the DJs up. They were one of the most memorable parts of our night and the best decision we made!

I cannot say enough good things about DC Sound DJ. Vince and Dave were helpful from the very beginning in explaining options and recommendations on how to make our reception flow as best as possible - and it worked! Our guests continued to tell us how amazing (and hilarious) our personalized introductions were and how it was nice to hear our 'love story'. My dad and I had a special dance with mixed music and when I sent it to Vince the week before the wedding he noted that the sound quality was poor - with all the other items going on I was just going to let it go and not worry about the quality, but Vince took it upon himself to remix our music with much better sound quality -- it was beyond appreciated and exactly what we had hoped for!! We also have been told by multiple guests/other vendors that our wedding was the first were the dance floor was ALWAYS full and Vince/Dave made that possible! Dave and Vince are fabulous! They were professional, personable, and open-minded when we met with them to discuss what we wanted for our wedding entertainment. It is obvious that they work well together and are very knowledgeable in music and wedding entertainment. The personalized introductions for our bridal party were a hit! DC Sound DJ provided us with an unforgettable DJ experience. They went beyond what we expected by communicating with us throughout the planning process, communicating with the venue, and meeting with us when we arrived at the reception to put our minds at ease. I have been to so many wedding receptions where the DJ ruined my whole experience because the music wasn't good or they said obnoxious things, etc. I put a lot of research into DJs and had heard about personalized introductions for the grand entrance and loved the idea immediately, but a lot of vendors were too expensive. When we came across DC Sound DJ, we thought this could be our chance. Our initial phone call was great, Vince was very personable from the beginning. We were given a username and password to their website where we could go on and fill out info for the reception such as songs for various parts of the night and do not play lists, etc. We had a meeting about 6 weeks out to go over what we had submitted and to put the reception timeline together. We had a couple complications along the way with our venue dinner time and a groomsmen dropping out, but Vince was super understanding and worked with us perfectly! We met his brother David at the reception when he got us set up for the entrance and he was so funny and personable that it was like we were friends and he was a regular guest. The introductions were hilarious and caught our wedding party off guard which was exactly what we wanted. Our love story intro was funny to hear back, but a nice touch for people that might not have known our story. The rest of the night was perfect! David helped us coordinate when to start dancing and when to do the bouquet toss and garter toss. He made the reception flow so smoothly! My father had passed away a year and a half prior and when it was time for me to dance with my dads friend, I was having a hard time keeping it together without bawling. David was there to keep me calm and told me we could skip it if it was too much. I managed to pull myself together and had a beautiful dance. David said a lot of heartfelt things that made everyone cry which made it perfect! He said such funny things during the bouquet toss and garter toss that I can't wait to get my videography back from my photographer to watch it again. Vince and David really made our reception perfect and it was even better than we had wanted it to be. They were excellent and I would book them again in a heartbeat!!!!

This team of DJs goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding goes exactly how you envision it. We met with Vince twice to talk about the flow of the wedding and the music we would like to be played. He is extremely thorough, organized and easy to work with! Vince was also very responsive if I ever emailed or texted him with a question. On our wedding day, these guys didn't disappoint. We did the personalized intro's for our bridal party along with the love story. It was a huge hit! The music was also great! Our dance floor was completely packed with tons of our guests throughout the entire night. It was better than we could have ever imagined. Vince and David are so amazing at their job. We felt very comfortable that they had the entire reception handled which let us relax and have a ton of fun! We are so happy we chose DC Sound as our DJ for our wedding!!

Vince and Dave provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and they were amazing to work with. During the planning process they not only listened to our music preferences, but they also provided invaluable advice on the wedding timeline when we asked. Not only did they play awesome music that kept guests on the dance floor, they also kept the wedding on schedule. (At one point Dave even asked our venue to speed up the dinner service because it was taking way too long and getting us behind schedule). Vince & David DeMarco make a wonderful team together. Vince worked with our requests but we ultimately let him do what he does best- feel the mood and the crowd and he delivered. He even did an *Nsync mash-up for me! Loved it! David is just such a lively and fun person. He interacts with the guests as much as possible and made sure that myself and my husband were having fun the entire night. I had zero worries about the night with them controlling the timeline, setting the pace and keeping the fun going. They did not disappoint at all. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!

My daughter hired this DJ for her recent wedding! After meeting with him on several occasions, she was confident he would do a great job! She was very specific about her music selection! She had created a playlist of a variety of songs she wanted during cocktail hour and the reception. She had burned the playlist on cds for her guests. Not only did he not play the songs! He was confronted by the bride, groom, and finally myself mother of the bride. He preceded to argue with me why he was not playing what she wanted. After I reminded him who was paying for his service he played a few. He seemed more concerned about keeping the dance floor full at the brides expense! I think he was more concerned about booking his next event than pleasing the bride! When her guests play her cd, they are going to wonder where were these. Songs?! My daughter never shed a tear over the wedding planning until the dj let her down! You don't always get what you pay for!! Mother of the bride

I am extremely pleased with the entertainment provided by the guys at DC Sound DJ! They provided both a DJ and MC, and between the two did an exceptional job of getting our guests involved in the party and keeping them entertained. The music selection was awesome and they did a great job of accommodating any special requests (from my guests and also from me during the planning process). They also incorporated humorous little "bios" for each member of the wedding party as they were introduced into the reception. The bios turned out better than I could have imagined! As we waited outside the ballroom, the "Oh NO" look on each of their faces as they realized what was going on was absolutely priceless!! Something else that was very important to me throughout the planning process was good communication from my vendors and Vince did a great job of staying in touch and answering any questions that I had in a thorough and prompt manner!

There is not enough space for all of the amazing things that I could say about this company. First, Vince sent us an online planning form which we were able to gradually fill out as we planned more of the reception. Then, he set up a meeting to discuss all of the details. We were able to tell him which genres we wanted to hear more of and which ones we did not want to hear at all. He really took the time to make sure he understood what we wanted the atmosphere to be at our wedding. The day of the wedding we met David (the MC) and he was just as fantastic. He was a genuinely nice individual and he made sure that each person was where they needed to be. The ceremony went off without a hitch because of these men. They kept the dance floor full the ENTIRE night. There was never a dull moment. I also loved that they added a little humor into the personalized introductions. They also told our love story which was awesome and it gave our guests a good picture of our relationship. They played the perfect songs to keep people dancing all night. I would definitely recommend this company for any event because they were beyond amazing!! They totally made our wedding and I am extremely happy that we chose them! :)

DC Sound DJ, comprised of a trio of DJ, coordinator and MC - the absolute best investment for our wedding. The music/DJ really 'makes or breaks' a wedding (one component of it anyways) and DC Sound 'made' ours. One of my biggest fears was that no one would dance at my wedding - how boring! This WAS NOT the case. We had so many people on the dance floor and we extended the receptions and people still stayed until the very end dancing. I have been to a lot of weddings(one other that DC Sound DJ'ed for) and this trio is truly the best. And I'm very critical ;)

Can honestly say we were blown away by everything. The music alone was great and we really enjoyed how we could select some "must play" songs but the guys were so accommodating to guest requests and their own selections were right on the mark. Beyond the music they were great with everything in between. Our service was a bit unorthodox in the order of everything but they handled our requests perfectly. We really enjoyed the attention to detail with our wedding party and family as well, that was a lot of fun and ended up perfectly with what we were expecting. Once it was time to party they had a great mix of genres that had everyone out on the dance floor. I've already had so many people tell us how fun the entire evening was and I know a big part of that was thanks to DC Sound! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great time at a really reasonable price.

We hired Vince and DC Sound DJ for our June 14th, 2014 wedding. From the very beginning Vince was wonderful. He included so many personal touches to the night, and was great at alleviating my anxiety throughout the planning process. He was great at getting back to me every time I emailed him with another question, and was very great about me constantly bugging him about minute details. My husband and I have been to many weddings, and we wanted to make sure that we had a DJ that would outdo all the rest. We wanted someone who would make sure people were having a good time, and engage the crowd. DC Sound DJ did just that. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only do they have Vince, the DJ; but they also have Dave the MC, and Anita their very own event coordinator. Vince made sure to play songs that everyone loved, Dave engaged the crowd and made sure everyone was having a good time, and Anita made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. She walked us through our entrance, cake cutting, bridal dance, etc. We had a ton of people come up to us both during and after the reception, telling us that ours was the best wedding they have ever been to, and that our DJ was the best they’ve ever seen. I would book Vince and DC Sound a million times over. There are a few things that I would change about my wedding day, but they definitely are not it. They are absolutely wonderful, and I had the most amazing wedding, thanks in very large part to them.

Vince, David, and Anita were AWESOME! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same with a different DJ. This family knows what they are doing and paid attention to every detail (Anita even helped safety pin my dress). We reluctantly decided to accept requests from our guests but Vince made sure it was something everyone would enjoy especially the bride and groom. David was energetic from the start and really got the party going. Our guests never left the dance floor- they rocked!!!

These guys are amazing.they work as a team of 3. Vince dj's and plays music the whole time, Dave mc's, and their mom communicates between the bride and groom and the other vendors to make sure everything is going down properly and everyone knows what to do and where to be. They do this unique thing called personalized introductions and a love story for the bride and groom. Based on questions you answer about your wedding party, they write a personalized story so the rest of the guests know why the person is important to the bride and groom. They also write a love story about the bride and groom to read to the guests. The stories were heartwarming and funny. Furthermore, when it came to the music, our dance floor was never empty. If they felt a song wasn't working they would immediately go to something else. My only complaint is that there were several songs I requested that were never played and my guests also said they didn't really take requests. With that being said, however, as previously stated the dance floor was always going so they obviously know what they are doing to keep the party going. We also requested some not released songs, one being a a song by Prince, only seen on the TV show New Girl. Vince had no trouble getting a clip from you tube for us to walk out to and it sounded great! With a team of three professionals, a great sense of atmosphere and what to play to keep people moving, and the time they take to create the bios and love story, these guys are well worth their price. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was the groom for my wedding on January 4th, 2014. My wife and I used DC Sound DJ as our disc jockey. It was a brother tandem-- one served as master of ceremonies, the other handled music and lighting. We were very impressed with the organization and professionalism both men showed throughout the night. You can tell that they are both experienced and take their roles very seriously. I recommend this disc jockey to anyone that wants to make sure that their wedding ceremony events go smoothly and without worry. They were on par with everything.

My husband is a music maniac and very particular, so when he told me that he had set up a meeting with Vince for us to discuss entertainment for our wedding day, I had no doubt in my mind that DC Sound DJ was very qualified. I didn't know much about their "personalized" services before that initial meeting, but ten minutes into our discussion I was sold. Vince was very accommodating with our requests and made himself available to answer all of our questions. He was also very professional and organized! Vince, Dave, and Anita were all AMAZING on our wedding day! Vince kept people on the dance floor all night, Dave was hilarious and charming, and Anita was a calming presence who guided us through the events of the evening. The reception ran so smoothly and the entertainment was continuous! I can't even count how many friends and family members commented on how much they enjoyed themselves. I considered having a friend of a friend DJ my wedding for cheap, but I am very glad that I chose DC Sound instead. Vince and his team were HIGHLY organized, which helped in corralling my family and keeping the evening moving smoothly. They were great about playing all of our requests. They are true professionals.

We recently had our wedding reception and the DJ was not what I thought he was going to be. Now he does create personal introductions for your bridal party as well as before you have your first dance and those are truly WONDERFUL to have however, on his website I put down in my profile that I wanted a lot of country played and I had to approach him TWICE asking for country music, and also if you wish to have a money dance make sure you address that you want it done early on in the reception because he had ours written down on his schedule he created at 10:00 pm and by that point a lot of guests had already left and were leaving so we did not get a big turn out for it!

The reception went smoothly due to DC Sounds help- having an event coordinator there was extremely helpful in keeping the events run in a timely manner. Leading up to the wedding seemed rushed and I neglected to sent in our bridal party introductions until a few days before our big day- Vincent worked them into our beautiful reception despite having little time for preparation - out guests loved them! My videographer had to leave prior to the reception bring over and one of our "must do's" was dancing to Country Roads- the crew rearranged the schedule and played the song early so that the videographer could capture it. I had guests approaching me all night telling me how fabulous they were! Thank you guys again- you did a wonderful job and put our mind at ease. -The Fenton's

I have known Dave, the MC of DC Sound DJ since middle school and decided to hire him and his family for our wedding. It was one of the best decisions that I made for our wedding! Our guests loved them and they were so fun and interactive. They were available from the time we booked them up until our event if I had questions or wanted to change something which kept my stress level down! They played such an awesome variety of music always keeping the dance floor packed. When searching for a DJ our goal was not to spend too much money, have a good time and good music, and not worry about what they were going to play or do at the wedding. They were so organized and professional! We had our first meeting with them and were amazed by what they had to offer for their price. There were some DJ's priced equally and they were just one person; so having 3 for the price of one was great. They made everything easy for us. They have an easy to use website where my fiance and I were able to access and fill out necessary information pertaining to the wedding (i.e. music, day of timeline, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, etc.). Since I'm an organized person, having someone just as organized took alot of stress off of me because I knew they had everything uder control. They were very easy to get in touch with via email or phone, which made asking small detailed questions nice. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

DC Sound did an AMAZING job for our wedding! From the moment we met with them for our first meeting we got an instant vibe from them that they were here to bring the party. Vince is awesome with his attention to detail, and Dave was such a fun MC! They kept our do not plays off the list, and played every style of music we had asked for. They are great to work with, and I absolutely recommend choosing them for your wedding day if you want a well planned event! Great job guys!!! We loved it!!

They were great! They made my reception and people talked about how much fun they had. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone. We couldn't ask for a better DJ or reception. You get 3 people for the price paid - a master of ceremonies, the DJ himself, and a person to take care of all the little details of the reception.
