We are wedding photographers who are there to tell the story of two people getting married. Every wedding is like a snowflake they all do the same coming down, but if you get really close you see how everyone is unique in their love story. DCP has been photographing weddings since 2010. A Photographers job is super important to document the moments of a couple, from engagement, a dress rehearsal for your Bridal Portraits, to something sexy in a boudoir session, to the pre-ceremony pictures of the dress, then a celebration the morning of with your bridesmaids/groomsmen or first looks with your Groom/ Father/Grandparents. We are not just photographing a wedding or taking pictures, we are telling a wedding story. We are known for journalistic, posed journalistic, and posed photography. Lindsey was absolutely perfect for our wedding! She took my camera hating husband and made him into a smiling model! She was easy to work with - always punctual and full of ideas to get the shot but not pushy and over-the-top. Lindsay stepped up in other ways at our wedding making sure things ran smoothly and as the bride I was calm. I have recommended her to absolutely every bride since my wedding which I can say I did not do for every vendor I used. Dimples and cheeks wonderful company to work with I highly suggestion them.

Once again, Lindsey and her team of professional photographers captured the magic and memories at The Apple Blossom Inn this past weekend. Lindsey has the most amazing eye - using a Powatan firetruck from the department where the groom volunteers. She and her staff made the fire hose in the shape of a heart for photos! Lindsey goes above and beyond to make fun and unique photos. She is discreet, quick but somehow able to take all the most perfect shots of a wedding weekend. I would recommend Dimples and Cheeks Photography to anyone wanting a professional photographer - weddings, families, precious babies and any other special event. Love this gal and love all of the members of her wonderful staff!!

Lindsey w/ Dimples & Cheeks did an amazing job!!! My experience with her was wonderful. As the mother of the bride, you want everything down to the last detail to be perfect! And just when you think you have thought of everything, Lindsey was happy to step in and offer up advise & suggestions and little tips for general wedding planning that was so very helpful. I could tell immediately that she really did want to be apart of our special day, and wanted to help make it as beautiful as possible. I loved that i was able to email her with any question or concern and she was always very prompt to get back with me. For my daughter's big day, we had 2 photographers there to be sure that every possible moment was captured! Before the wedding, she had asked for a list of the different photos we wanted, particularly the people (i.e bride and grandparents, bride w/ mom and kids, etc) at first I thought, well, just pictures of everything & everyone....and at first, I thought , this was a silly idea and it really wasn't' needed, I was completely wrong! On the day of the wedding, there was so much going on (it was a little crazy :) ) I'm so glad that she had a list to go by. it was so much easier on everyone to simply call out names to the bridal party and family when it was someone's turn, etc. it really made things flow very smooth. (obviously, she knew what she was doing! :) Honestly speaking, I was a little concerned about the outdoor space at the venue in terms of the pictures and not really being able to have alot of "good" photo op spaces to pick from. But, Lindsey did an amazing job of finding and coming up with some very creative ways to capture some very cute and unique photos. I was very pleased and happy with everything. The photos were awesome, her turn around time to get the finished product back to us was really quick. Lindsey did amazing job with my daughter's wedding! I promise, you will not be disappointed with Lindsey.

Lindsey with Dimples and Cheeks took photos for my wedding about a month ago and she is very professional. We already had engagement photos taken by another photographer so she offered us a good discount on the package we chose. The family and wedding party photos that we sent her in advance were complicated but she did a great job keeping everyone on task and organized so we could get all the photos we wanted with them. I’m sure there have been weddings where people try to take over during photos but there were times where my bridesmaids would ask questions about staging and she was a little short with them. My wedding party is just so laid back that it caught me off guard a little bit for someone to be snappy with them. I get it because we only had an hour for photos but I didn’t feel like they were trying to step on Lindsey’s toes. It might have been because we had so many photos with family but I wish I could have gotten more than just one backdrop photo setting with my husband and then at least one photo of me by myself in my dress. Lindsey is the professional so I trusted her judgement in where photos would be taken so I didn’t question anything during the hour following the reception. Just looking back I wish I would have said something. We did receive a few photos a few days after the wedding and then a full album about 10 days later so that was amazing and the photos turned out well. I recommend Dimples and Cheeks for anyone’s wedding.

I hired Lindsey to take pictures in RVA for our elopement. She was recommended by a coworker. I was hesitant to hire a photographer since we were eloping, but I wanted a least a couple of good photos for our wedding. Lindsey's photographs really captured each and every moment. I didn't think it would be possible for our love to translate into a photo, but she managed to do it. We have an amazing group of photos now to share with our family and friends. Lindsey is personable, friendly and talented. I highly recommend her!

Dimples and Cheeks is amazing! They do a wonderful job of catching "real life" photography so all those special moments are captured. They provided our engagement and wedding photos and everyone has been incredibly impressed. The photos really captured the moment, our love, and most importantly everyone enjoying themselves at the reception. Dimples and Cheeks (Lindsey and Scott) did a great job despite many obstacles with our wedding photos. We got married on 10/8 in the remants of hurricane Matthew. Our wedding was to be outside so we had to scramble to find unique locations for our pre ceremony pictures. Lindsey was very creative and we ended up with some epic pictures! She is even offering to do another shoot at our location when the weather is nice so we still have some pictures in the garden that we were to be married in. I recommend highly!

I cannot say enough good things about Lindsey and Dimples and Cheeks Photography; this team was a 10 on a 5 star scale! During the planning process, Lindsey was willing to meet with us several times and truly wanted to understand our ideas and must-have photo ops for the day. She came prepared on the day-of with not only our requests, but several creative ideas of her own. And her's were my favorite, by far! I wish I had given Lindsey total control! She is incredibly professional, and was able to take charge of my husband's very large extended family when the family portraits started getting chaotic. She was a lifesaver there! She even had sneak peaks to us by the next morning, and the full album within 10 days. Any bride would be incredibly lucky to work with Dimples and Cheeks Photography, and I am so grateful that they captured our big day!

Lindsey Harris with Dimples and Cheeks Photography is wonderful!! She did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures! I love them and have gotten so many compliments on the pictures. She always answers back quickly to emails and got our pictures back to us so soon after the wedding!! Hire her for your next event! I will for sure be using her once we have a kid for our maternity pictures! You will love her and her amazing work!

Such a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! Any picture requests we had, Lindsey was more than willing to accommodate! Having two photographers also gave an awesome point of view to some of the pictures! So many pictures and they all came out great! I highly recommend Dimples and Cheeks to any bride!

We had 2 photographers for both the rehearsal dinner (night before the wedding) and the Wedding day. All of the photographers were on time, sharp, and amazing individuals! Lindsey herself came out for the wedding day. We were able to get a couple of our pictures via Facebook (high quality) by midnight the night of the wedding! Because of their familiarity with the venue, they knew where to shoot the photos to maximize lighting while making the most of our time. They were incredibly flexible - both of our families are huge and my groom's parents have both remarried so the extended/step-family photos were formidable... Not only did they get the photos we requested prior to the wedding (via correspondence with the vendor) but they were flexible enough to add group photos throughout the night. Group photos were a minimum of 15 people and it was no small task of wrangling all of those free spirits into one frame!
