special events or spa parties with friends. The TCBeauty team set up three stations for makeup and another few for hair for the bridal party and family of the bride/groom. They were very flexible around providing the manpower and supplies needed for the event and were able to work in the hotel space provided. All the makeup artists were friendly and balanced attentiveness with a warm, conversational environment. The bridal party requested matching looks with one another; I have heard of bridesmaids getting matching dresses but the matching "spanish dancer" makeup was a nice touch that brought their look to a whole new level! The mother of the groom got a great airbrush makeup service done, making her skin look flawless. I was not a part of the bridal party and was looking to keep my makeup pretty natural - Tani incorporated my makeup preferences without any pushback, which was refreshing. When I was at the event, I received many compliments - including from a makeup artist! What more could I ask for? I cannot wait to have my makeup done with TCBeauty next and hope to try out their hair services soon. The bridal party looked stunning with their matching waves!

We were able to get ready at my maid of honor's house which was really special, and they were very attentive and flexible. Hair started on time with Elise and Hilda, and Elise (the bridal hair and makeup artist) made Shirin feel completely comfortable. Elise was also very knowledgable and helped her to achieve the look that she wanted. For makeup, she had Varsha and Monique, and they did the bridesmaids' makeup beautifully. Really, everything about the whole getting ready process was seamless. And if that weren't enough, Elise even called the next day to make sure Shirin was happy with their services and to congratulate her on the wedding. TC Beauty really went above and beyond. Shirin plans to go back, and we highly recommend them for your wedding!

paired me up with another stylist for a second complimentary trial. This stylist, Betsy, was a much better fit! She was super sweet and made my bridesmaids and I look our very best. The day of, Betsy arrived on time and had a calming presence. My bridesmaids had sent photos of the styles they wanted in advance and were super happy with the results! I definitely recommend TCBeauty.

answer any and all questions! I had my hair trial with Elisa and I'm so excited to work with her again for the wedding. I showed Elisa two hair styles that I liked and she ended up doing both so I could decide which I liked better. Not only did she take the time to make sure I was comfortable with my hair and make up, she also provided guidance on what cut and style should be done to my hair before the wedding to make the look that much better! These girls are amazing and I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends!

bout our time allotment. Her team was prompt (and we had a full day with 8 bridesmaids/bride, starting at 6:45am!). I had an accessory hat that unfortunately didn't work with the original style at my trial - but the stylist assigned to me was able to improvise and came up with a wonderful style on the spot. And all of our hair/makeup lasted for 12 hours, through tears, sweating in 90-degree humidity without any issue at all. They are a lovely, warm group and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks especially to Betsy for making me look and feel beautiful!!

Her hair styling was superb and she was able to suggest modifications at the last minute when we had some unexpected weather. Everyone that had their makeup and hair done by her did not stop receiving compliments all night. Go with Elisa, you won't regret it!

Cris. Cris is amazing!! The trial went fantastic and then on the day of my wedding, when I wanted to tweak the original plan for my makeup Cris was very flexible. She did an amazing job and it lasted all night. She also did all of my bridesmaids and they all looked amazing and were very satisfied. During the make up trial, after each step, she would stop and allow me to evaluate the beautiful work she had done. Any changes that I wanted made, she easily accommodated with a smile. My mom also chimed in with her opinions and Elisa was very patient and kind to her. She has two daughters of her own and understands that we women know what we are looking for when it comes to our hair and make up. Then when it came to my hair trial, she literally created the EXACT replica of the picture that I sent her. It was literally amazing. I was so impressed. Also, Tani was just such a delight and provided a very positive energy in the room. She asked me if I wanted music to play and even what type of music I wanted to hear. It gave the room an exciting vibe, which further enhanced my excitement for my big day! Overall, Elisa and Tani were so easy to work with and I would recommend TC beauty to anyone and everyone!!!! They went above and beyond to preserve the unity in our group while providing intimate experiences with the staff to give each girl a unique and pampering experience. We had various stations for all of the ladies to rotate through, including massage, facials, and mani pedis. They did a great job of keeping the services inclusive for all girls to interact with one another and learn about the services and products offered. It was an incredibly fun event. All of the guests had a great time. The TC Beauty staff even poured us cocktails while we waited. I would certainly use do this again for any event and would definitely recommend their services for a wedding or any occasion.

Betsy is a pleasure to work with- calm demeanor and soft spoken. Betsy also did my mom's hair and makeup and my mom also looked fantastic! (My mom's a typical older Asian lady with the short, poofy, curled hair and she really made my mom happy on my wedding day.) My mom's makeup was soft and natural, as was mine. Thanks for everything!

Prior to my wedding, I had a couple changes that I wanted for my hairdo. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loved my hair. Betsy came to the hotel where my bridesmaids and I were getting ready and did all of our hair. We stayed at a hotel in Woodley Park, so they didn’t charge any travel fees. Betsy arrived on time and even finished up ahead of schedule. It took less than four hours for her to complete all of our hairstyles. Betsy was a joy to work with. All of my bridesmaids loved talking with her while they got their hair done, and they were all very happy with how their hair looked. I also did a trial with Tani and Betsy before the wedding at their studio in the Bethesda. Tani worked with me to find a time that worked best in my schedule for the trial. Betsy was also more than happy to adjust the hair style as needed during the trial to ensure the look was exactly what I wanted. Overall, working with TC Beauty was easy from start to finish. I highly recommend them.

ed and I am very pleased. I have gone in for 2 trial sessions so far and I have also brought 2 of my bridesmaids with me to do their own trials. The price is low compared to most venues I've got quoted on. We all had a wonderful time, most importantly. The two artists, Tanisa provided were named Betsy and Samantha. They were also fun and experienced. They gave me beauty techniques and even said yes to assisting me in buying makeup products for daily wear. Even if you don't know what you want or don't have a clue, they will start your hair and makeup and will change to your liking. Betsy even taught me how to do the hairstyle at home by myself if I wanted to. What I have learned form this entire experience, is not to be shy and speak up with what you want so that your artist can get to know you. I have used TC Beauty for over a year now. I have had two mobile spa parties at my house with a group of girlfriends and I have gone to the shop for nails, facial, hair and makeup. The great thing is you can come to them or they can come to you. I've always had a pleasant session in the end with TC Beauty and the team. My guests were so relaxed and felt even more beautiful after their services they selected and this is always a unique experience, not your typical busy red door spa or bubbles hair salon where there is usually a wait or the appointments made can take longer than normal! I can't wait to use TC Beauty for my wedding in February 2015 and I will be happy to post pictures of their work when the time comes!

TCBeauty offered both hair and make-up services for me and my entire bridal party for such a reasonable price, and they will travel to where we are getting ready! Yes, you will have to pay for travel, but it will be totally worth it! I absolutely LOVED the hair style and make-up they did in my trial. I am so excited for my big day, and I am so thankful that I have found TCBeauty! I highly recommend them, as they are very reasonable and will travel to you, so it is less stress for your big day!
