I had an amazing experience working with Tani and her team at TC Beauty. Tani was always very prompt and responsive to any questions I had. When we had to postpone, she was extremely accommodating, flexible, and understanding in helping me navigate my wedding planning through the pandemic. I had no issues in keeping TC Beauty as my vendor for our new date, and no extra fees were charged. I had my hair and makeup trial done seamlessly with Jaleesa and Sharon, respectively. On the day of my reception, I had 10 girls get ready with me. They all raved about how well their hair was done by Jaleesa and Angenae along with their makeup, which was completed by Sharon. The TC Beauty team was so efficient in making sure we stayed on schedule. Jaleesa and Sharon were so detail-oriented and took their time in completing my hair and makeup and to assure I was totally happy with the look they provided, which exceeded my expectations and turned out even better than my trial. My family and friends commented how beautiful my hair and makeup looked throughout the entire evening and in my photos. There was not one hair strand that was out of place for the whole event. My makeup also lasted during the entire night and absolutely loved the natural look that Sharon provided. I absolutely 100% recommend TC Beauty to any bride looking for professional hair/makeup artists. The quality and value of their services cannot be beat!

Was disappointed to have them get half finished with my hair and conclude the trial. Left the trial with my hair undone. Didn’t have a clear idea if they would be able to do my hair for my actual wedding so I had to pass. Make up was nice though

Tani and her team saved the day when my initial hair & makeup team could no longer do the makeup for me and 8 other attendants. With short notice, Tani was very responsive and quickly set up a trial for me as fast as she could. She had a seamless process of filling out a questionnaire to better understand the image I am trying to achieve. I had a lovely time with her during the trials and I am looking forward to the final product for my wedding in 2 weeks!

TC Beauty is doing my wedding hair and make-up for my wedding soon -- the trial was quick and enjoyable and the work very well done, and they responded well to feedback and understood what I wanted. Before my hair & makeup trial, I completed a detailed google form to help Tani know how I like to look and exactly how I wanted to look for my wedding. I so appreciate that they truly adjust their looks to exactly what you're going for -- each of my bridesmaids had looks that were unique to them and the amount of makeup they typically wear. I'm used to wearing makeup and found Tani incredibly knowledgeable and had great suggestions as we worked together to create the perfect look. I was really happy with the makeup from my trial but my hair didn't hold up quite the way I hoped. Tani graciously offered me a free hair trial re-do with a different stylist which made such a difference. This helped me feel at ease that my wedding hairstyle would be just how I wanted it. Tani and her team are committed to making sure the whole day goes great. She worked with me to create a timeline a couple weeks before and built in plenty of buffer time - we were on time the whole day, often ahead of schedule. She even asked my bridesmaids to submit a photo of their preferred hairstyle ahead of time which was so smart in making sure to have the right stylists and the right expectations ahead of time. Tani and her team bring a positive energy to the room and keep things light & fun. We had a blast hanging out with them! I highly recommend TCBeauty to any bride!!

I have been in contact with Tani from TC beauty for the past few months discussing my upcoming wedding and the make up trial. First thing I noticed is that she was super quick to respond and to me that was extremely important. No one wants to wait multiple days to get a response. Wedding planning is stressful enough! Second thing I noticed is that she was extremely knowledgeable. I went in for my trial and it went amazing. I am not the easiest client since I am picky and often don't know what i want but Tani was super helpful in coming up with a look that make me feel beautiful but also would stay for 12+ hours! I would recommend Tani and TC beauty in a heart beat and would give 100/5 stars if I could!!

I just had TC Beauty (specifically Betsy, Angenae, Sharon, Nikia) come do hair and make up for me, my 8 bridesmaids and 2 mothers of the bride. They arrived with schedules in hand and finished all of us before the scheduled end time. More importantly, they did an amazing job! Some of my bridesmaids were using this session as a trial run for their own weddings, and everyone was so pleased with their finished product. I recently completed my hair and make-up trial with Tani and Nomeda and couldn't have been happier. I was very nervous because I wear minimal to no make-up and haven't always had the greatest luck with hair and make-up for events in the past, but there was nothing to be nervous about with Tani and her team. I loved my natural make-up look and low up-do. As an added bonus, we had such a fun time together in the process, looking forward to being with these girls on the morning of the big day!

My wife and I did a trial a few weeks prior to the wedding. I did not love my hair at the trial but Lana did an amazing job day of the wedding. She looked at pictures that we gave her and made us both look flawless! We had 10 bridesmaids that had to get hair and makeup done and TC beauty did an amazing job. I committed to hire Tani and her team to do hair and makeup for me with very little vetting. And because I was living overseas until a few weeks before the wedding, I couldn’t schedule a hair makeup trial until a few days before the wedding day. I was a little nervous, but everything turned out sooo great! I asked for a lot of flexibility because of my visa issues, and Tani was happy to accommodate me. Betsy was my main hair and makeup artist. She nailed the hair style that I wanted and did a really natural but clean and defined makeup look for me. I was so happy about my whole look on the wedding day. The two hair and makeup artists with Betsy were also super nice and professional. I was happy with the looks that they have (except my maid of honor had eyeliner on her waterline when her eye shape isn’t really cut out for it, I’m being picky though). All in all, I had a great experience with Tani, Betsy and her team. Would 100% recommend! Also did I mention the whole team that I worked with are the nicest people ever?? I felt like I could be actual friends with them!

I cannot say enough good things about Tani and her team of stylists! Tani worked with me for over 6 months to be sure that my day was perfect and she definitely delivered! She was responsive and really was interested in what I wanted and what my bridesmaids wanted. She setup my hair trial with Lana, which was a great way to meet Lana and choose a hair style months before the big day. The stylists for the day of were absolutely wonderful. They were on time, efficient and incredible at their jobs. Lana, Danielle and Jayde did our hair and makeup and everyone was just perfect. I cannot thank them enough and I would highly recommend them to brides and bridal parties!

Monique and Jayde did an amazing job with mine and my bridesmaids' makeup for my wedding day. We were all thrilled with the results and had a great time with the two of them while getting ready. I was stressed out all day, but seeing my face after Monique finished my makeup just made my day!

I am speechless with it all! I have never felt more beautiful but still so natural! I was very taken care of! Every time there was a tear I was checked to make sure none of the makeup had been messed up! In terms of hair, I changed last minute from what we had done in the trial and from me just showing her a picture online she came up with a beautiful updo for me! My husband was lost for words on our wedding day (June 24,2017) and still looking at pictures he can't believe he eyes. TC Beauty my wedding hair and make up along wth 5 of my girls and my Mother. We had Cris and Nomeda as our consultants. Nomeda spent 2 hours making my hair look exactly like a picture I showed her that day. Everyone was very professional and took any requests we had. I got my makeup done by TCBeauty a couple of weekends ago for an engagement party and everything was perfect from start to finish! I rarely write reviews for services but TCBeauty was exceptional. I highly recommend reserving Tani/her team for special events or spa parties with friends. The TCBeauty team set up three stations for makeup and another few for hair for the bridal party and family of the bride/groom. They were very flexible around providing the manpower and supplies needed for the event and were able to work in the hotel space provided. All the makeup artists were friendly and balanced attentiveness with a warm, conversational environment. The bridal party requested matching looks with one another; I have heard of bridesmaids getting matching dresses but the matching "spanish dancer" makeup was a nice touch that brought their look to a whole new level! The mother of the groom got a great airbrush makeup service done, making her skin look flawless. I was not a part of the bridal party and was looking to keep my makeup pretty natural - Tani incorporated my makeup preferences without any pushback, which was refreshing. When I was at the event, I received many compliments - including from a makeup artist! What more could I ask for? I cannot wait to have my makeup done with TCBeauty next and hope to try out their hair services soon. The bridal party looked stunning with their matching waves!

Tani was great in quickly responding to my messages and helping to coordinate appointments and answer any questions. Cris (makeup) and Nomeda (hair) did a wonderful job, both at my trial and the day of the wedding for me and my bridesmaids. I LOVED TC and my stylist, Betsy. She was phenomenal for the trial! She was equally amazing for the wedding. Not only did she do a great job with hair and make up, but she kept me calm throughout. (Our wedding photograph DID NOT show up. He somehow thought the wedding was on SUNDAY even though the right date was listed on EVERY PIECE of document. When this disaster happened, Betsy was so nice about keep everything cool!)

I had a wonderful experience with the TC Beauty Bridal team. They were very calming on my wedding day. My makeup artist was Varsha, and everyone in my bridal party thought she was just fantastic! All my bridesmaids who some don't even like sitting to be made up, commented that they wished Varsha would make them look this good every day!

Tani and her team did such a wonderful job on my (and my bridal party's) hair and make up on the day of. I truly felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. Really good experience with TCBeauty! They came to my apartment to do my first trial, which was really convenient. Unfortunately my fiance didn't love it, so I opted to schedule a second trial to go more natural. They were flexible and easy to schedule a second trial. Throughout the process, I felt like Tani was responsive to exactly what I was looking for in my makeup. I can't wait until my wedding because I know my makeup is going to look great!

My wife, Shirin, used TC Beauty for our wedding, and she was so, so pleased with their services. First, Tani (the coordinator) was friendly, responsive, and flexible, and she even contacted each bridesmaid individually to ask about their ideas for hair and makeup. Then, on the wedding day, not only was Shirin provided a hair and makeup artist, but she received two of each! And all four of them were organized and professional. Hair started on time with Elise and Hilda, and Elise (the bridal hair and makeup artist) made Shirin feel completely comfortable. Elise was also very knowledgable and helped her to achieve the look that she wanted. For makeup, she had Varsha and Monique, and they did the bridesmaids' makeup beautifully. Really, everything about the whole getting ready process was seamless. And if that weren't enough, Elise even called the next day to make sure Shirin was happy with their services and to congratulate her on the wedding. TC Beauty really went above and beyond. Shirin plans to go back, and we highly recommend them for your wedding!

I booked TCBeauty to do the hair for my bridesmaids and I. TCBeauty is very affordable and Tani is very responsive, organized and accommodating (planning a wedding in MD from NYC). I didn't get the results I wanted after my first trial so Tani paired me up with another stylist for a second complimentary trial. This stylist, Betsy, was a much better fit! She was super sweet and made my bridesmaids and I look our very best. The day of, Betsy arrived on time and had a calming presence. My bridesmaids had sent photos of the styles they wanted in advance and were super happy with the results! I definitely recommend TCBeauty.

I can't rave about TC Beauty enough! The entire process of setting up my trial to finalizing everything for my wedding has been one of the most stress free experiences of planning the wedding. Tani is a fantastic coordinator and is available to answer any and all questions! I had my hair trial with Elisa and I'm so excited to work with her again for the wedding. I showed Elisa two hair styles that I liked and she ended up doing both so I could decide which I liked better. Not only did she take the time to make sure I was comfortable with my hair and make up, she also provided guidance on what cut and style should be done to my hair before the wedding to make the look that much better! These girls are amazing and I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends!

Tani and her team are awesome. This is by far one of the most affordable makeup/hair services in DC, but the quality of their work is still amazing. Tani is responsive by email and flexible. She brought on a third stylist when she was worried about our time allotment. Her team was prompt (and we had a full day with 8 bridesmaids/bride, starting at 6:45am!). I had an accessory hat that unfortunately didn't work with the original style at my trial - but the stylist assigned to me was able to improvise and came up with a wonderful style on the spot. And all of our hair/makeup lasted for 12 hours, through tears, sweating in 90-degree humidity without any issue at all. They are a lovely, warm group and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Thanks especially to Betsy for making me look and feel beautiful!!

Not only did she make me look and feel my best but she was kind to my family and took extra care to make my sisters and mother feel beautiful as well. She has a knack for enhancing your best assets and doing glamorous yet natural looking makeup. Her hair styling was superb and she was able to suggest modifications at the last minute when we had some unexpected weather. Alright, these ladies are amazing. I found them on Thumbtack, where I interviewed several different vendors. From the very start, TCBeauty stood out among so many others in terms of skill, flexibility, and responsiveness. I had ZERO redo's at my trial -- they got it spot on the first time, and they delivered perfection and beyond on my actual wedding day. My bridesmaids also all looked amazing, and already, in the two weeks since I got married, two friends have hired TCBeauty after seeing our pictures. I felt like an old Hollywood movie star, and TCBeauty helped me look the part!

TCBeauty was amazing to work with! I contacted them only a few months out from my wedding due to my original makeup artist being unable to make the wedding day for personal reasons. They were super accommodating and I quickly setup a trial with Cris. Cris is amazing!! The trial went fantastic and then on the day of my wedding, when I wanted to tweak the original plan for my makeup Cris was very flexible. She did an amazing job and it lasted all night. Tani and Elisa were both great! From the minute I walked in, I felt very comfortable and could immediately tell that they were going to be the right fit for me. Elisa listened to me very closely before the trial began and she even studied the hair style picture that I sent her prior to the trial so she knew exactly what I wanted. During the make up trial, after each step, she would stop and allow me to evaluate the beautiful work she had done. Any changes that I wanted made, she easily accommodated with a smile. My mom also chimed in with her opinions and Elisa was very patient and kind to her. She has two daughters of her own and understands that we women know what we are looking for when it comes to our hair and make up. Then when it came to my hair trial, she literally created the EXACT replica of the picture that I sent her. It was literally amazing. I was so impressed. Also, Tani was just such a delight and provided a very positive energy in the room. She asked me if I wanted music to play and even what type of music I wanted to hear. It gave the room an exciting vibe, which further enhanced my excitement for my big day! Overall, Elisa and Tani were so easy to work with and I would recommend TC beauty to anyone and everyone!!!! Tanisha was great!! I definitely recommend her. She was able to match my skin color perfectly and hide my blemishes perfectly. She listened to my requests and was able to work and carry them out.
