De La Flor Gardens

After shopping around and receiving extremely high quotes from several local florists, my husband and I were amazed by De La Flor! Deborah is creative yet flexible and mindful of a budget. We brought pictures of arrangements to our first meeting and Deborah ran with the ideas. She doesn’t just replicate pictures; she puts her own spin on them which makes her work unique. I was in love with my blue orchid and peacock feather bouquet! De La Flor surpassed our wedding day expectations and I highly recommend their services.

Deborah and Gus De La Flor did the absolute most gorgeous flower arrangements for our wedding at The Cooper Estate in February! My mother-in-law and I flew in from California to meet with Gus in November 2013 and reviewed the look and feel we wanted, complete with pictures. The meeting went well and we received a proposal within the week! Deborah and Gus were very willing and understanding to work with us to meet our budget, including floral substitutions and even allowing us to provide several centerpieces, some California native greenery and bouquet additions. My mother-in-law (who handled the floral aspect of the wedding, since she is a florist) had nothing but positive things to say about Deborah after speaking or emailing with her, and she really loved how responsive and flexible Deborah was. Seeing our bouquets was a very exciting moment, but my favorite part of the wedding day was walking into our reception hall before our guests and seeing the amazing centerpieces. Being able to finally see what you've been trying explaining for months and how it turned out EXACTLY how you've envisioned is a jaw-dropping, goose-bump, tears-stinging-your-eyes moment. I would highly recommend De La Flor Gardens for any event requiring a florist with a creative eye, a willingness to work with you and be flexible within your budget.

Deborah De La Flor spent a considerable amount of time listening to what I wanted, looked at my ideas, and surprised me with the most amazing flowers. I chose to go more ikebana/minimalist, but I didn't have a precise idea of what everything should look like and let her use her design skills. She worked with my colors to create beautiful centerpieces using flowers I'd never considered, and my bouquet was so gorgeous that it actually got taken at the hotel (please note this a compliment to her skills). Her prices were competitive and reasonable, her crew showed up on time, everything for the bridal party was neatly labeled, and they even took some extra flowers they had from decorating the cake and laid them out decoratively in the our prep room. First class all the way.

I was nervous for months on how the flowers and Arch would turn out. I was more the pleasantly surprised. They were beautiful!

I contracted De La Flor Gardens about 8 months in advance. I only contracted De La Flor for the bridal party flowers, the cake flowers, and two hair flowers for my hair (no centerpieces). Total price was about 700, which retrospectively is way more than I would have liked to spend, but I wanted to make sure the quality of the work would be good, and that they delivered the flowers to us. They have a good reputation, and they delivered what was promised. Service-wise, Ms. De La Flor and her team were very helpful and amiable. On the day of the wedding, they arrived early and dropped things off, each flower piece labeled. They even threw in a bouquet for the bouquet throw (a small one, but I was grateful, as I had planned originally to throw my own). Overall, great service, but I kind of regret spending so much. I had found an alternative site for 400, if I picked them up myself. Who knows however, if the quality would have been as good and the outcome stress free.

They were very helpful, professional artistic. The flowers wear reasonably price and beautiful! They listened to my ideas, looked at my pictures and then exceeded my expectations!

They showed up on time. Efficiently set up the aisle runner, the columns with flowers for the alter and rose petals on the tables. The flowers were very pretty and added well to what we had set up already. I was expecting more dark purples based on what I had discussed with the florist, but everything turned out beautiful so I really cannot complain.

Deborah, the head floral designer at De La Flor took a lot of time to meet with my Nana and I to go over my vision, and was able to create within the confines of our limited budget. We truly appreciate it. The bouquets in particular were absolutely gorgeous! My orange callas and red roses were exactly what I had been picturing, and I really appreciate the care they took wrapping the pearls my grandfather gave me around the base of the bouquet. The only aspect that wasn't perfect were our aisle accents; I had expected them to be the color of straw (like the bunch of hay I showed her the picture of), but it was a bunch of fresh green oats, which stood out a bit from the Fall theme. The altar arrangements and boutinaires were also exquisite, especially my groom's calla. Her attention to detail was wonderful, and especially evident in our cake topper. Also, she delivered complete order exactly where it was supposed to go when it was supposed to be there that day, incorporating all the little changes we made perfectly.

De La Flor did an amazing job at our wedding. The ceremony and reception rooms looked beautiful!

The flowers were gorgeous
