We are extremely satisfied with Dean Michaels Studio! Laura worked her butt off the entire wedding. She mastered our tight timeline and took charge at all the right times! We felt that Dean Michaels was reasonably priced considering the BEAUTIFUL classic wedding photos we got out of the process.

Dean Michaels Studio went above and beyond on our wedding journey! From inquiring, to booking, to our engagement shoot, and finally the wedding day Chrissy answered every email quickly and professionally. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, our photographer Laura had us laughing. She made us so comfortable behind the camera and was so patient with my older family members. Our videographer Chuck, also made us feel so comfortable and left out no detail. He gave great direction that left us feeling confident while also having fun. Both made sure to capture our love story just the way we wanted! We love our photos and videos and can't recommend Dean Michaels Studio enough!

We reached out to Dean Michaels pretty last minute (just a few months out from our wedding)... They were SO ACCOMODATING! They made me feel so much better about my experience and our photographer Rich was so helpful and patient on the day of the wedding. We love our photos, but the experience leading up to and on the day of is what truly made this a 5 star vendor.

My husband Jason and I got married in April 2025, and booking Dean Michaels Studio was one of the best decisions we made. We chose them months in advance based on their great reviews and photography style, and they exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process, their team was consistently in touch by checking in, answering questions, and making sure every detail was covered so the day would run as smoothly as possible. On our wedding day, Aggie was our lead photographer and was amazing. She joined my bridesmaid and I in the bridal suite and brought such a calm, positive energy which is exactly what I needed as the bride! She had gone over everything with me beforehand including our timeline, “must-have” pictures, and preferred backgrounds. Rich was with Jason in the groom’s suite and did a fantastic job with the guys (especially the toddlers!) He kept everyone engaged and relaxed, which made for some great shots. Alex, our videographer, captured every part of the day beautifully and worked seamlessly between the brides and groom’s timeline. We received our wedding pictures just a few weeks later and were thrilled with the results! The quality, the quantity, and the range of photos were all incredible. Every important moment (and so many candid ones) was captured perfectly. What really stood out was how the entire Dean Michaels team made sure we stayed on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. They were present, attentive, and flexible, yet never intrusive. Aggie especially helped keep me grounded and calm throughout the day. Funny enough, a couple of months after our wedding, we attended our friends’ wedding and Dean Michaels was there. Aggie, Rich, and Alex recognized us right away as we discussed our wedding. It was great seeing them again and knowing our friends were in such great hands. I couldn’t recommend Dean Michaels Studio enough! They’re professional, talented, and a dream to work with.

We had such an amazing experience with Dean Michaels for our wedding photography! The whole staff was so friendly and helpful both pre and post wedding. We’re not picture people at all and our photographer, Laura, made us feel so comfortable and gave such great direction. Dean Michaels Studio captured our Wedding Day perfectly! From the very first time reaching out, they were such a pleasant company to work with. Chrissy is fantastic and answered all of our questions promptly and throughly. On our Wedding Day we had 2 photographers - Laura being our all day lead and she did a FANTASTIC job. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos. We also received everything back so quickly, in only 3 weeks. I can't recommend this studio enough, they care about their clients and have beautiful, gorgeous work.

Photography is so hard to find with the current market and Dean Michaels Studio hit the nail on the head. The family-owned business has been in the industry for over 35 years and offers so much variety. We had two photographers (Laura and Maggie) and two videographers (Oleks and AJ) and they all worked seamlessly to ensure that my husband and I were comfortable and looking our best. I’m extremely picky about photos of myself and my husband is extremely reserved and they truly have the magic touch in capturing our true selves. Now the difficult part is which ones to hang up in my house, since I feel 2000 is too many to print!!! I will never use another photography studio again, Dean Michaels sealed the deal for us for life!

We booked Dean Michaels Studio for our Photo and Video packing for our wedding about a year prior to our wedding. They were recommended to us by our friends and we knew they were experts at our venue which was a goal of ours! We had Kartheek as our lead photographer. Him, as well as the other photographer and both videographers were awesome! Everyone was prompt, friendly and made us, as well as our friends and families, extremely comfortable throughout the whole day. We received our sneak peaks and our photos with no delays! We have already received our videos, earlier than expected, which we loved! Our trailer and highlight videos are truly amazing and our families are in awe of them. We asked the studio to make a few adjustments to our longer video and we cannot wait to see the final product. Our families haven’t stopped gushing about how clear and precise all of the photos and videos have turned out! The studio has been so seamless to communicate with from beginning to end! Overall, we would highly recommend Dean Michaels Studio for any event!

Chrissy was our first point of contact, Laura was our photographer, and we had a great videographer. Everyone was so amazing! Chrissy was so helpful, quick to respond and had great communication. At our wedding, they captured the typical posed and beautiful staged shots as well as awesome candid shots! Laura has such a creative eye and got some neat shots I never even considered. I was really happy that they directed me often as well. I kept holding my bouquet very high and she’d tell me to bring it down, she had people throw leaves, found beautiful backgrounds, and would let me know if I was looking down or needed to hold my chin or chest out more. I’d rather have direction than get back photos that aren’t that flattering. The videographer was the same, making sure we hit certain cues, moved around or looked certain ways to get the best shots. We received our sneak peek very fast and it just got me even more excited for the rest of the photos! They were also very affordable, offered discounts, didn’t charge a credit card surcharge and ensured that no matter what happens, someone would be able to come to the wedding. I was nervous hiring a freelance or smaller photographer after hearing some stories about last minute issues and no photographer showing up. Since this is a studio, there are many photographers and videographers so they guarantee someone will be available at contract signing. So very pleased all around! Update: I wrote that from the sneak peek I received and I just got the final pictures.. they far exceeded expectations! They are breathtaking and so freaking amazing! The photographer captured ALL the moments – the staged shots, the laughing, the crying, the dancing, the singing, the AIR GUITAR (Yeah, drunk bride hit that air guitar at the end of the night). I am so beyond happy with Dean Michaels Studio & Laura! LOVE!

Dean Michaels was amazing and I highly recommend them. They were very professional, thorough, attentive and responsive. Our lead photographer for our engagement photos and wedding photos was Laura. She was hustling and went above and beyond. Our friends and family mentioned how exceptional she was. We had our engagement shoot with Rich at Colonial Park in Somerset. From the planning process Rich was so helpful especially after having to reschedule multiple times due to rain and recommending a location. My fiancé and I are both not super comfortable with photos, however Rich helped break the ice, talked us through it and let us have fun. We look forward to having Rich with us at our wedding in December! I was also blown away with the quick turn around in receiving our photos. Our family and friends keep saying how much they love them, and so do we!

Dean Michaels Studio was extremely professional and accommodating. Our photographer Rich and Videographer Rodrick were incredible!!! They came early to photographer the venue and make sure they were available for when we were getting ready. They captured every moment but without getting in the way or taking away from out special day. They gave us ideas in terms of what photos to take and angles for the shots and poses and with who to take them with. There was also the ability to ask them what we liked and what we wanted and they would take it into account and set up the shot. Their photos were high quality and we got them earlier then expected. Each picture was done so well and the moments were captured perfectly!!! We cannot recommend Dean Michael enough they really did and outstanding job with everything and for the price you really get the value out of what you pay for!! They also got out pictures out to us earlier than expected and they were incredible I cannot keep saying it enough!!!!

choosing a photographer and videograher was one of the harder decisions in wedding planning. there are so many bug photography businesses out there that offer large packages for cheap prices and giving low quality products from. sending out freelancers that are not part of their company. it took a bit of time to look at reviews of local business in New jersey to find Dean Micheals Studio. after reading the reviews, I booked an appointment with them. I talked to one of the owners. she and her husband took over the husband's dads business which has been around for 35 years. many of the employees have been there for many years. Just that, made me comfortable in booking with them. another thing that I loved was that they provided photography and videography. I wanted to book both packages from the same place to provide a good team and workmanship in guiding me and my husband through our photos. I was able to book them for 6 hours as I didn't need the traditional 8+ hour packages since I got my hair and makeup done at a bridal salon. The pictures and videos were amazing. I tear up at watching the videos. I recommend anyone getting married or having a event to book Dean Micheals Studio

Rich is truly one of the best! I am a very shy person, unlike my fiancé. He made me feel very comfortable, simplified the entire process. I cannot express the emotions and gratitude to him and the studio! They are quick efficient and the pictures speak for themselves!

We had our engagement shoot last year up in Peekskill. Rich traveled all the way there with us and made our photo shoot so fun. We all incorporated ideas to make it fun and effortless. Fast forward to this September, our actual wedding, Rich and Reena were absolute rockstars, they worked with our ideas so well and we could not be more grateful. We are so excited to see the end product!

We began our experience with Dean Michaels Studio (DMS) for our engagement photoshoot. We were paired with Laura who we really meshed well with. We really enjoyed her methods of shooting in a way that felt more natural and candid. Our photos came out great! When it came time for our wedding, she called us a couple of days before then and we knew she had our best interests in mind as she listened to everything we were looking for during our day. As everyone already told us, our wedding day went by so quickly! It felt like the day flashed by in the blink of an eye! We were so anxious to be able to see our photos to even help us remember parts of the day that flew by so quick! Our sneak peek came back within a few days and they chose some really beautiful shots which were edited beautifully! But it wasn’t until we got to see our highlight video that we really came to appreciate the work of DMS. We could not stop watching this heartfelt video. They really captured our day so well. We must have watched out video at least 5 times that day each (and cried every single time). We are so happy with our decision to go with DMS. Our photos and videos are so great! You are in amazing hands with DMS!

We booked with Dean Michael’s for our wedding next month and also used them for our engagement photos. We couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. We were able to include our dog which was really special for us. Rich was so great!!
