I hired Dean Michaels Studio for my wedding, and I can't recommend them enough! They were amazing to work with from start to finish. Every time I called or emailed with a question, they responded quickly and were incredibly helpful and friendly. Maggie was my photographer, and she is truly talented at what she does! My family and bridesmaids kept talking about how detailed and professional she was throughout the day. She captured every moment beautifully.

Highly recommend working with Dean Michaels Studio. The communication is incredible from the start. As a bride i never once had to worry about any details or timelines for my wedding day. The staff were so amazing the day of the wedding. My nephew is 8 years old and was taking pics on his phone and she even went to the extent of taking pictures for him of our family so he has them personally. If you are in need of a photographer or videographer you will not be disappointed!!

We loved working with Dean Michaels Studio for our wedding photography! The studio was recommended by the Knot, but their picture quality, great reviews and straightforward and transparent communication were the features that made us choose them over other photography services. We went with the economy package to keep to our budget and chose luxe edit for our primary wedding photo. Christy answered all our questions thoroughly and assigned us Aggie as our lead photographer, whom we absolutely loved. Aggie reached out prior to the wedding to go over the schedule and was punctual (and by that I mean early) to our first location for the photo shoot prior to the ceremony. Aggie was professional and sharply focused on the best angles, background, photo opportunities, and behavior that favored us (she kept our large bridal party of all personalities unanimously focused on the goal of getting all the possible family photos at our 2-location photo shoot prior to the ceremony. Quite a feat.) We received the final photos about a month our event and they were organized in sections (photo shoot, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), and we’re easy to download and share with family and friends. As expected, the quality of the photos was extraordinary and we were crying and laughing over all the memories and emotional state each photo captured. The luxe edit photo was stunning and was brimming with our love. I’m looking forward to printing so many of the photos and sending albums to our families!

Dean Michaels was amazing and I highly recommend them. They were very professional, thorough, attentive and responsive. Our lead photographer for our engagement photos and wedding photos was Laura. We had our engagement shoot with Rich at Colonial Park in Somerset. From the planning process Rich was so helpful especially after having to reschedule multiple times due to rain and recommending a location. My fiancé and I are both not super comfortable with photos, however Rich helped break the ice, talked us through it and let us have fun. We look forward to having Rich with us at our wedding in December! I was also blown away with the quick turn around in receiving our photos. Our family and friends keep saying how much they love them, and so do we!

Dean Michaels Studio was extremely professional and accommodating. Our photographer Rich and Videographer Rodrick were incredible!!! They came early to photographer the venue and make sure they were available for when we were getting ready. They captured every moment but without getting in the way or taking away from out special day. They gave us ideas in terms of what photos to take and angles for the shots and poses and with who to take them with. There was also the ability to ask them what we liked and what we wanted and they would take it into account and set up the shot. Their photos were high quality and we got them earlier then expected. Each picture was done so well and the moments were captured perfectly!!! We cannot recommend Dean Michael enough they really did and outstanding job with everything and for the price you really get the value out of what you pay for!! They also got out pictures out to us earlier than expected and they were incredible I cannot keep saying it enough!!!!

We had a great experience with our photographer Max for our engagement shoot, and the Dean Michaels Studio team (notably Chrissy) were responsive and efficient with our photos given a short turnaround time for save the dates. We had a great experience, and can't wait to work with Max and the Dean Michaels Studio team for our wedding!

choosing a photographer and videograher was one of the harder decisions in wedding planning. there are so many bug photography businesses out there that offer large packages for cheap prices and giving low quality products from. sending out freelancers that are not part of their company. it took a bit of time to look at reviews of local business in New jersey to find Dean Micheals Studio. after reading the reviews, I booked an appointment with them. I talked to one of the owners. she and her husband took over the husband's dads business which has been around for 35 years. many of the employees have been there for many years. Just that, made me comfortable in booking with them. another thing that I loved was that they provided photography and videography. I wanted to book both packages from the same place to provide a good team and workmanship in guiding me and my husband through our photos. I was able to book them for 6 hours as I didn't need the traditional 8+ hour packages since I got my hair and makeup done at a bridal salon. The pictures and videos were amazing. I tear up at watching the videos. I recommend anyone getting married or having a event to book Dean Micheals Studio

We had our engagement shoot last year up in Peekskill. Rich traveled all the way there with us and made our photo shoot so fun. We all incorporated ideas to make it fun and effortless. Fast forward to this September, our actual wedding, Rich and Reena were absolute rockstars, they worked with our ideas so well and we could not be more grateful. We are so excited to see the end product!

We began our experience with Dean Michaels Studio (DMS) for our engagement photoshoot. We were paired with Laura who we really meshed well with. We really enjoyed her methods of shooting in a way that felt more natural and candid. Our photos came out great! When it came time for our wedding, she called us a couple of days before then and we knew she had our best interests in mind as she listened to everything we were looking for during our day. As everyone already told us, our wedding day went by so quickly! It felt like the day flashed by in the blink of an eye! We were so anxious to be able to see our photos to even help us remember parts of the day that flew by so quick! Our sneak peek came back within a few days and they chose some really beautiful shots which were edited beautifully! But it wasn’t until we got to see our highlight video that we really came to appreciate the work of DMS. We could not stop watching this heartfelt video. They really captured our day so well. We must have watched out video at least 5 times that day each (and cried every single time). We are so happy with our decision to go with DMS. Our photos and videos are so great! We are beyond thrilled with how our wedding photos have turned out from Dean Michaels Studios. We didn’t give too much guidance but Rich was able to capture such a beautiful snapshot of our entire day. I corresponded with Chrissy throughout the planning process and she was very friendly, responsive and helpful in immediately answering all of our questions. Our photographer Rich was also very accommodating and called me to discuss the timeline prior to the day and answered all questions I had. On the day of, we met Rich for our first look at another location (Verona Park) before heading to the venue for the rest of the pictures. He was nothing short of amazing all throughout the day and night and made sure we had taken all the pictures we wanted prior to leaving. We have hundreds of absolutely stunning photos now thanks to him and his incredible work. So many in fact that it’s hard to narrow down which ones to pick for prints and include in an album. I also am very impressed with the prompt turn around time for ordering products, specifically our thank you cards.The designer Alec had our proofs back the next day and made the revisions I asked for very quickly too. Within just a few days we already have our thank you cards-Fantastic service and quality! Please do yourself a favor and hire Dean Michaels Studios for your special event-You will be so happy you did!

I got married last July and hired Dean Michael Studios. It was the best decision I made! Dean Michael actually photographed my parent's wedding 30 years ago too. I felt so comfortable the day of, they were reasonably priced, and the photos came out awesome. I think I had about 3000 photos. I ordered an album through them which came out great.

Just wow! There are no words to truly capture how great of a studio in Dean Michaels is! They are truly easy to work with, and capture the most beautiful flowers and Photography. They want to make sure that you’re truly happy with everything that you choose and if you are not happy, will easily fix it. No problem and fast the turnaround time to get my photos and videos was around two weeks. I could not believe it most of my friends have waited easily months for the return after their wedding. You should definitely pick dean Michaels Photo as a photographer and videographer as they are the best in the business.

Reena is such an amazing photographer. She called me a few days before our wedding to discuss details and she was just the sweetest person to talk to! I knew right away we were going to have a great time. On the wedding day, she came early to set up and went above and beyond to set things up so that she could take the initial detail shots. Everyone loved her and was such a kind and fun presence while getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception! The pictures came out perfect and I literally cannot stop looking at them. She caught every moment and even the recreation I really wanted to do with my dad. Thank you, Reena!

What can I say except thank you. A nerve wrecking and timeless moment should be captured by the absolute best and although they were only engagement photos, I can’t say I’ve ever been more pleased with a photo of my partner and I. Down to the setting and time, to the communication and fun, Rich was the upmost best part thus far in our wedding adventure. He made us feel like family and in turn I think most of our smiles were actually genuine haha!

Maggie and Rich were an excellent team! Maggie was extremely thorough and knew exactly how to handle the family dynamics. They took so many fun shots, even outside in the rain in mid-December. Would absolutely recommend!

My wedding pictures where the one thing I wanted to turn out perfect for my wedding day and they did thanks to Dean Michaels Studio! I had plenty of questions leading up to my big day. The staff was always kind, courteous and patient with me. On the day of the wedding our photographers were easy to work with, were able to direct our wedding party (and families) into position in a timely manner which allowed us to get all the shots we wanted. I was nervous because we had a gloomy rainy day, but all of the pictures came out amazing! All of our family and friends say they did an amazing job! I’m so glad I went with Dean Michaels Studio! I got my perfect wedding shots because of them! I highly recommend booking an appointment with them!

We are so happy we used Dean Michaels for our wedding. Our photos and video were incredible - the editing was beautiful, vibrant, and full of life. It was important to me that we pick a style that matched our preferences and we couldn't be more thrilled. We didn't do a first look and Laura and Ben were very efficient at capturing all of our photos during cocktail hour. They were great at listening to what shots were important and also not important so that we could keep the day moving along. We finished all of our couple photos, family photos, and wedding party photos in under 40 minutes!! We can't thank them enough for getting the perfect shots - everything we asked for.

DMS has been an absolutely blessing to have the entire wedding planning process. We spoke to Christin when we booked and through out the proceeds in regards to payment and timeline for the day. She was very honest about being realistic with our timeline which we appreciated. Our engagment sessions was with Rich who made us feel very welcomed from the beginning. The day of our wedding we had Reena & Rich for photographer and Alex & Ben for videography. The best group of people you can ever work with and Their eye for creativity is astounding.

Dean Michaels Studio did an amazing job capturing our wedding in May. Chrissy was great to work with on the planning and their photographers and videographer were so creative in commemorating our special day. When we received all the media, we couldn’t stop watching the video and reliving the all the special moments with the stills. My husband and I were extremely pleased with Dean Michaels Studio. The photographers Laura and Rich were awesome and we couldn't have asked for better ones the day of. We spoke to Laura a few days prior to the big day and gave her a list of exactly all the shots we wanted and she delivered. Both her and Rich had great energy to be around and work with. They (along with the Alex the videographer who was great as well) kept everything moving along without rushing us - they all hustled!! It never felt like they were in the way with any equipment taking away from any special moments. They helped capture our vision and were very easy to work with. The final product came out incredible - we love how having both Laura and Rich there provided different perspectives of the same shot. The video footage came out great. Overall we are very happy and would recommend them to anyone.

We got married July 14, 2022. This was our first major vendor to book 2 years ago and they did not disappoint! Our timeline changed a few times during our planning process and Chrissy always was very flexible and quick to respond. Our photographers were Maggie & Rich. Both were incredible and would do anything to get a perfect shot. They got every photo we wanted & more! Alex was our videographer and watching him work was mesmerizing. He was so creative & seemed to be everywhere at once! We did not do a first look and were planning on missing our entire cocktail hour while taking photos. They were able to create a timeline that allowed us to not only sit and eat our private cocktail hour but also join our guests for a little. Not to mention, our photos came out great and there was not a moment that they didn't capture (in multiple angles).

We are in the process of using Dean Michaels for our wedding photography & video, and so far we only have wonderful things to say about them! In our initial meeting, the saleswoman Chrissy was very informative, professional, and friendly. For our engagement shoot, our photographer Laura was fantastic! She made us feel extremely comfortable the entire time, and the photos came out amazing! We cannot wait to have them shoot our wedding soon!!!

Dean Michaels Studio is truly so lovely to work with!! Laura was our photographer for the day and she was SO MUCH FUN! She went with whatever we wanted to do, all while keeping her energy so high (truly don’t know how she does it, I was out of energy before she was!!) and capturing every moment without fail!! Our videographer was also awesome, I was super nervous before the ceremony and he worked with me on videography shots (right through the nervous jitters!) and made me laugh and it really helped calm my nerves! We used Dean Micahels for our December wedding. Everything from the posted photos to the candid shots were phenomenal. They made sure we got all of our pictures done and still had a great time at our reception. The only complaint I have is that we cannot figure out what photos to put in our album because they were all fantastic. Got married NYE, the longest day of the year and Dean Michael's Photographers (Reena and Ben) made our day spectacular! Leading up to the day, our wedding coordinator came down with Covid. I was beyond stressed that the day wouldn't flow as seamlessly as it would have with help - I was wrong! Reena connected with me prior to our big day and I felt as ease! We had a huge bridal party and prior to the day of, she tried to memorize everyone's names and morning of, she went around to put names to faces right away! She WAS the coordinator, she was attentive to detail, timeline, areas with good lighting, best shots (at venue, park, church). My husband is not a fan of pictures - you wouldn't tell at all in any of our shots! In a little over a month, sooner than expected, we received our pictures and are in love! Could not recommend Dean Michael's enough to make your day run seamless and provide memories that will last a lifetime!

Maggie and Rich were our photographers for our wedding and we are really happy with the results! They were great at guiding us, our families, and bridal parties in the pictures and timed everything well allowing us to be done with all of the formal pictures before cocktail hour began which was important to my husband and me. They were also really laidback which helped for a day that can be quite stressful otherwise. I particularly love our first look photos. Our photographers were able to adapt quickly to our rainy day and initial plans of where we would take the pics. We didn't have an engagement shoot so we were just trusting Dean Michaels Studio since our first experience with them would be our wedding, but fortunately it's a company you can trust to get the job done well!

When I got engaged and started researching photographers and videographers, as soon as I saw Dean Michaels work I was sold! I really enjoyed working with Dean Michaels Studio and our awesome photographer Kartheek! He was very friendly and we got along very well! He was great about walking through my vision and plan for the day but also great about taking awesome spur-of-the-moment shots. I could not recommend a photographer more than Dean Michael!!! The team was truly amazing- we have only gotten our sneak peek so far but every single photo is amazing and I can’t wait to see the rest of our photos. The team was so professional in every interaction we had- from the initial calls, to a quick planning call the week of the wedding, and of course on our big day. Laura and Rich were our wedding photography team, they did an amazing job snapping causal pics but also staging some great, creative poses. It was also so helpful how well they know their industry- both Laura and Rich helped keep our bridal party moving and on schedule, and we’re so friendly it helped keep the mood light even when I started to get a bit nervous! They were also great with our flower girl and ring bearer who are usually very camera shy, I’m not sure how Rich managed to get my nephew to be so comfortable in front of the camera because he is usually very timid! To anyone looking for a photographer- stop looking and give their team a call today!

We hired Dean Michaels Studio after having a horrible experience with a previous photographer who shut down his business without reaching out to all of his clients. As soon as we hired DMS, my husband I knew we made the right decision. Our photographers were Maggie and Rich, and they worked SO amazingly with each other. They both were very helpful with how to pose, helping us relax and not be so stiff lol and having fun with us. Our bridal party and parents told us how much they loved our photographers and how wonderful they were. Dean Michael Studio was amazing! Rich was so helpful and we spoke on the phone several times so we could get on the same page about my vision for the pictures. They were on time and knew exactly what they were doing. Ben & Eli were great as well, I’m so excited to get my pictures and video back!
