With 20 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industries in New York and a BFA from The Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Photographer and Fine Artist Rachel Brennecke brings her background in art, fashion, music and portraiture to Dear Alex & Jane which she founded in 2015. Rachel's clients love her for her warmth, down to earth energy, and her impeccable attention to detail. Her professionalism and expertise combined with a well trained eye never fail to create absolute stunning imagery.

was incredible. Not only did she provide us with the most beautiful pictures, she was also just so wonderful to hang out with during our wedding day. She captured the essence of our day. She is kind, funny, and makes you feel so comfortable. Rachel provided us with not only an absolutely perfect gallery of pictures, but we also asked if she could take brief video clips throughout the day. She was more than happy to do this for us. We are so happy with our choice. 10/10 recommend!!!

l and Alex' warmth and professionalism. We knew that we didn't want the prototypical, overly staged and posed wedding pictures and were thoroughly impressed by Dear Alex and Jane's beautiful portfolio. On our wedding day, I experienced the cliche bridal nightmare of my hair and makeup artist getting the day-of schedule mixed up and arriving 3 hours late. Rachel and Alex helped me stay calm, cool and collected as they raced with me and my family to a nearby salon. They were amazing every step of the way and helped take my mind off of what could have easily turned into a total disaster. One of my biggest fears was how the pictures would turn out, since the pre-ceremony shooting schedule we had originally planned had to be scrapped due to the issue with hair and makeup. Now I realize my worries were completely unwarranted because Rachel and Alex are ridiculously talented photographers. I'm happy to say that we ended up with so many GORGEOUS shots - I nearly almost cried tears of joy! My husband and I have been recommending Dear Alex and Jane to every wedding planning couple we know and can't wait for another occasion to work with them again!
