Ben is kind and has a calm and confident presence. He is also a total professional we felt we could trust from the first time we spoke to him by phone. He helped us prepare and personalize our ceremony and then did an amazing job officiating our recent elopment at the arboretum at Cornell. He exuded a heartfelt presence, with space for humor, and helped us make our big day an incredibly special experience. We highly recommend Ben to anyone looking for an officiant!
Benjamin was very kind and understanding throughout the process. We recently were married at Taughannock Falls State Park and Ben was familiar with the venue. We appreciate his patience as we rushed to sort things out and his professionalism throughout the ceremony. When it came to handling the marriage license, he went above and beyond. Thank you so much!
Ben is such an amazing person! We absolutely loved working with him. We met far in advance of the wedding to discuss things and the next few months to follow things ended up changing and we wanted to mix things up. He welcomed all changes and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so lucky to have found Ben to help officiate our wedding and be apart of our special day. Thank you, Ben!
WOW! Ben knocked it out of the park for our wedding! From the very first conversation- we knew we needed Ben to officiate our wedding. He was organized and professional- but also extremely down to earth, sincere, and had a great sense of humor. He customized every bit of our ceremony to what we wanted and what type of vibe we wanted to set off the wedding with.
At our wedding-He had the most calming presence and soothing voice, our guests thought we hired him straight from National Geographic. Which also made the jokes throughout the ceremony THAT much sweeter. He showed up dressed to the nines, was talking to our guests, making everyone feel welcome, and he really felt like a long-time friend to us all despite only speaking a few times prior. Everyone loved him. We couldn't be more grateful to have found Ben. A huge THANK YOU from the new Mr & Mrs! 10/10 recommend.
Benjamin Marlan of Interfaith Ceremonies officiated our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Prior to the wedding, we met to discuss the details of the ceremony, and clearly saw how organized and professional he was, he came prepared with a binder of samples from his previous work, vows and even suggestions for readings. As my husband and I sat and listened to Benjamin, to the details of his service and how he personalized it for us, we immediately knew we wanted to book him. We had no regrets! On the day of our wedding, we felt completely confident in his work. Benjamin incorporated special details, such as a flowering offering to our parents, wine exchange, and even a unity tree planting ceremony! Many of our guests complimented the clarity of his speech and the calmness of his tone. Benjamin even took the extra step in advising us about how to obtain the marriage license, which he sent out immediately after we all signed it. We received our certificate about a week after the wedding. I would definitely recommend Benjamin to any couple looking for a sincere officiant, who brought uniqueness to our ceremony.
