And for those of us who like to “settle in,” there are drawers (imagine that) to store your belongings! But, the highlight of my stay was the Four Vagabonds bar. Stunning! The website’s pictures don’t do it justice. And bartenders Candace and India kept the patrons engaged in lively conversation for hours. Be sure to ask India to make one (or two) of her 5 star old fashioned cocktails. Next time, I’ll make a reservation at Clara’s Table restaurant. Highly recommend this hotel. In fact, make a day of it and pair a stay with a visit to The Henry Ford Museum.

the night of the wedding we show up and nothing I spoke about was done. I called the front desk from our room and couldn't get a hold of anyone for over 45 mins. It was a major disappointment. When I tried to reach out about it after our stay, I tried to make contact multiple times and was assured 3x that someone would reach out to me to talk about it and now 3 months later still not a word back. They really managed to spoil a once in a lifetime event. EDIT: The reply from management seem to be confusing me with someone else, as they never communicated to me that any service was unavailable, thus no alternatives were ever offered me at any point whatsoever. In fact I was told very surely that it was all possible. The confounding part is that when we showed up that night, the front desk was able to see in my booking that it was listed as our wedding night, told me they usually do specials in the room for these sorts of occasions "if only they had known sooner" indicating to me they were clueless. Finally, the front desk operations manager never reached out to me despite my multiple attempts to reach them. Even after the initial night this hotel continues to disappoint with poor service and clearly disorganized hospitality.
