y us she could meet us at a coffee shop while we were in the area. Even though we were doing things last minute, Immediately upon meeting her we felt calmer about the whole thing. We really had no idea what was going to be said in the ceremony and having been to other weddings and not totally loved or understood what the officiant was saying, we were anxious we might not like our own. But she shared ideas and let us tell her what things felt true to us and our relationship and she put those pieces together and got a draft to us quickly and after just a couple back and forths, we had our ceremony (with just the vows to work on and get to her by the wedding day). Just as important as the words though, is the delivery. And Corkie’s tone and energy were perfectly synced with ours in the meeting, the day of the wedding, and throughout the ceremony. I can’t explain it but she connected with us and our guests and made us all feel part of this very special moment. My now husband and I loved, loved, loved our whole ceremony! And that’s all thanks to Corkie!

her services. When we first met her at Panera Bread, I knew within 2 minutes, she was the one. We had only interviewed Corkie and I am so glad she was available for our day. From our first meeting to the meetings in the summer, Corkie was so kind. So caring, so generous, and so honest. She has a special aura about herself and her energy is very authentic. I loved how she made us both feel and heard! She didn't try to force us to go the traditional route with any part of our ceremony. It was strictly up to our comfortability and for that, I will forever thank Corkie for making us feel heard. As we are true gamers, we switched up our vows to a gamer style and she was in love with it. Our audience loved it and couldn't stop repeating it throughout the night. ny that was really our own. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger because of how few reviews I was able to find regarding her work, but I'm so glad we took the chance! We met with Corkie over lunch to discuss our preferences and create a skeleton of our ceremony. She had even prepared a wedding workbook especially for us, which we found to be helpful in order to get us thinking before our first meeting and also to keep us on track post-meeting. During the creation process, Corkie was adaptable and happy to incorporate our feedback. Our ceremony was absolutely stunning! Corkie did such a beautiful job - she was well-spoken, heartfelt, and made our ceremony special. While my husband and I stood at the front, she helped keep us calm with reassuring comments and glances. Corkie suggested including audience participation, which I had been skeptical of at first, but really loved during the ceremony as it helped loosen everyone's nerves. We even received feedback after the ceremony about what a beautiful job Corkie did - we would 100% recommend her!

The only thing she did not edit to improve were the vows, which she wanted to keep in the voices of the of couple. She was easy to communicate with and had lots of very good advice, always communicated with humor and respect for the wishes of the bride and her groom and family. She had great ideas to make the event special, and gently guided us away from some of our less-well-thought-out ideas (doing shots on the alter). At the wedding, she helped organize the bride and bridesmaids, and was a welcome calming influence. She delivered her lines flawlessly, and communicated clearly with the bride and groom what to do at every step. We had a strange thing happen during the ceremony - a bee kept landing on the groomsmen, even walking on their faces as they strove to keep their composure. And then it headed for Corkie, who is allergic to bee stings. She quietly brushed it aside and went on with the ceremony as if it were nothing. She is a pro. And she closed the ceremony with some well crafted words so that it naturally flowed to the next stage (wine for the guests, pictures for the bride and family). Corkie is one of those people who are lucky enough to have found the work they are best at, and she is making the most of it. I wholeheartedly recommend her.
