My husband and I loved her sample albums and style of photography from the first day we saw them. She was so prompt, thorough and patient throughout all the emails, phone calls, week of changes and day of chaos, she truly put us at ease. We couldn’t believe how quickly she had our full online gallery edited and available for us and the pictures are gorgeous. She captured so many beautiful memories on the most important day of our lives and we can’t thank her enough for that. We had a very hard time selecting pictures for our album because there were so many we loved, she made a chilly November afternoon look stunning. Even now, three months after our wedding we are still in contact regarding our album (which should be arriving soon) and she is just as courteous, kind, professional and prompt as she was the first day I contacted her. After we decided to hire her, she made sure that everything was clear and provided us with a comprehensive form to help us build our "must have" shotlist. She stayed in touch with us throughout the lead-up to the wedding, including a useful and clarifying week-of phone call that let us communicate last minute plan changes and lock in the shots we wanted. However, her true value came on the day of. Due to some unforeseen circumstances we arrived at the venue a bit behind schedule, which delayed the start of our first look and formal portraits. However, she stayed calm, laser focused and confident, and when we were able to get started she efficiently shepherded us through the different setups, maintaining a brisk yet comfortable atmosphere. She did a great job capturing all the angles and little moments of our ceremony, and we had a blast roaming around Butternut taking more formal photos while the sun was setting. Throughout the first dance and reception she again did an awesome job unobtrusively capturing the action. The photos we ultimately received from her are fantastic. She beautifully captured all the important moments throughout the celebration. She gave us a treasure trove of photos we're still having a great time poring over. We are very much looking forward to our final wedding album and trying hard to narrow down which to get printed! Debbie is wonderful!

could. Choosing a wedding photographer is a daunting task, but Debbie was listed as a preferred vendor on our venue’s vendor list. I checked out her website and absolutely loved her portfolio. Debbie took our engagement photos in our Boston neighborhood, and I was so impressed with the number of different shots, locations, colors, and poses she was able to get in such a short amount of time. Our wedding day (6/17/17) was no different, I have no idea how she was in so many places and angles at once, yet was never a distraction to us or our guests. Everyone who has seen my wedding photos is blown away by how beautiful all of the pictures are (even with a cloudy sky) and I had such a hard time choosing my favorite 100 photos for our wedding book. She is an expert at photography and I just love the variety of formal and journalist (candid) photos she captured throughout our day. I love the artist qualities that come through in her photography by using different focus techniques, colors, cropping, backgrounds, etc. Her artistic brain must work in overdrive while shooting. Her caring and genuine personality definitely enhances her skills as a photographer and make her such a pleasure to work with. You can tell she loves what she does and cares about her clients, and this comes through in the photos she takes and moments she captures. I had some concerns about my upcoming wedding so I sent her an email, and she called me that same night to talk me through everything and ease my concerns. Debbie makes it clear that she is there for you on your wedding day. She is an expert photographer, fun bridesmaid, and effective wedding coordinator all in one. You will have no regrets if you hire Debbie, and you’ll probably make a new friend at the same time.

t nervous about going into wedding planning, because we knew what we wanted but weren't sure we would be able to find the right person and also be able to afford them. Our first meeting with Debbie, she was so prepared and professional, but what struck me the most was how comfortable we felt talking with her and how much she seemed to understand exactly what we wanted. At first we weren't sure about spending the money on an engagement session, but we eventually decided to do so. It was such a good decision and I'd highly recommend it if you can! It gave us a chance to get to know Debbie better and get comfortable in front of the camera before the day of the wedding... and not to mention it was an absolute blast. It took away the nerves that we had about the photography on the day of the wedding, because we already established a relationship with Debbie and knew how wonderful her work was. Leading up to the day of the wedding, Debbie was SO helpful! It's clear that she's done this before and she was so willing to help. Together we created a detailed timeline that helped us organize ourselves so much. On the day of the wedding we couldn't have imagined anyone else being there with us. She was calm and collected and didn't let anything shake her. It was exactly what we needed, and she was an absolute rock star! I don't know how she was able to be all those different places seemingly at one time, but she captured every moment of our day so beautifully. She put us at ease and when there were hiccups, she didn't let them throw her and it kept us calm too. Not only are the images we have of our wedding and engagement going to be keepsakes for the rest of our lives, we feel like we have made a friendship with Debbie that will continue even after the work on our wedding has finished. Debbie consistently went above and beyond and we are so grateful to her for all she did for us- we can't recommend her enough! Not only is she amazingly talented, but she made sure to work within our budget and went out of her way to make sure we were feeling comfortable through all the stages of planning. The turn around time on our images was lightening fast, as well! I am not huge on having photos taken, I tend to feel a little awkward but Debbie made me and my bridal party laugh and feel very natural. I have seen a lot of wedding photos that feel forced or are just a lot of the same poses/background but Debbie gave us a wide variety of shots. Everyone in the bridal party and even guests of the wedding told me how they really liked her and she was very creative with our photos. After the wedding we got a sample blog post very quickly and received our full portfolio sooner than I was expecting. The photos are all beautiful!!! I was so impressed with the way that she captured so many special moments, especially because beyond the posed/formal photos, I hardly noticed her and did not realize she was capturing these memories for us. I would recommend Debbie to anyone looking for a photographer who shows genuine interest in her clients and is a real professional. I truly could not be happier with her work!

Not only did she have a wonderful portfolio, she seemed genuinely interested in the details of our relationship and our wedding. Each phone call or email she would enthusiastically check in on our wedding planning. We appreciated her attention to the private moments between us at our wedding. Our favorite moment was quickly leaving to take photos at sunset on a nearby lake. Her timing was perfect and we ended up with beautiful photos. Another moment she helped coordinate was our first look. We wanted something casual and not overly scripted. She arranged for us to see each other in the garden outside the church. It was simple but beautiful, and we were grateful for her ability to coordinate something on the fly which we hadn’t given much thought. From flowers and decorations to the architectural details, throughout the wedding Debbie took time to photograph all the elements which contributed to the atmosphere of our day. She also captured many special moments between our guests. One of the biggest advantages to working with Debbie is she develops a wedding timeline. She walked us through the day, from hair and makeup to cutting the cake. A shoot sheet was developed to organize all the formal photos we wanted with extended family members, and the appropriate amount of time was budgeted into our wedding timeline. Debbie’s personality throughout the wedding was charming and our wedding party felt very comfortable following her instructions during formal photos. Our photos capture all the elements of our wedding and create a beautiful catalog of our day. We would highly recommend Debbie to another couple.
