Words cannot express enough how truly remarkable Dean and Charlene made my husband and I feel going into our wedding day. They were easy to work with, accommodating, and just fun people to know. My husband was what you might call a “groomzilla”, but Dean made him feel confident that what he envisioned for the day would be a reality and it was perfect! We were married September 24, 2016 at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center. When walking through one weekend in 2015 we were lucky enough to meet Dean and watch his team at Decadent Catering set up for a wedding to be held that evening. He introduced us to the chef and we were very impressed how everyone was diligently working, smiling, already in uniform (hours before the event) and were paying such close attention to detail. While working with Dean he was very honest in what was feasible or not with our budget and made sure he was able to give us what we wanted. He put many hours into planning and creating a menu for us that we would be happy with. Our guests loved the food and no one complained of there being too much or too little. Dean was very easy to communicate with and get a hold of over the course of the 12 months leading up to our big day. We mostly used email, but when he wrote back you could tell he gave an incredible amount of thought to answering your questions and never promised something he knew he wouldn’t be able to keep. When we met Dean he was such a joy to talk to we instantly felt confident in his work. When speaking to Dean, you can tell this is not just a job, but rather his passion to create magic for the bride and groom that day and that’s exactly what he did. The night progressed without a hitch in the planning and our guests and my husband and I had such a blast! The entire Decadent team is very passionate about the product they produced for our special day and honest about how to make it happen. When you work with them, you feel like you are their only client because of the attention to detail they give to your event. My husband and I will be raving about Dean and Decadent Catering for years to come and will be recommending his services to anyone we know needing a caterer. The food is delicious, the people are professional, nice, and caring, and the price was reasonable and in our budget! Thank you, Dean and the whole Decadent Catering crew!

Decadent provides exceptional service, exquisite food, and at a lower price point than the big vendors in the area. Moreover, when Decadent caters your wedding or event, they focus all their time and energy on just your event. We sampled other caterers and felt that Decadent had the best food and a better vision for our event. We expected to pay more for this level of service, but in the end they were much less expensive despite delivering a higher value. You can’t ask for more than that. Dean Mistretta is likely to be your main contact in the process. He is smart, outgoing, and has a huge amount of experience with weddings and other events. He starts off by getting to know you and then helps you shape your vision of the event. If you have a set plan, he will make sure it comes to fruition. We, on the other hand, really just had an impression of what we would like (summer, evening event, relatively casual and modern). It was remarkable to sit in on these meetings and find that you and the caterer were developing a common vision for the event naturally and effortlessly. And the food was outstanding. We received high praise for the food from all the guests — and some of our guests had thrown incredible weddings of their own recently, so they knew what they were talking about. The Decadent staff was exceptional as well. Our other vendors specifically praised Decadent as being professional and easy to work with. So, even the other professionals like to work with this company.

Dean catered my wedding last summer and did an excellent job. He was easy to work with, very professional, respected our budget, and the food was delicious.
