e did work with Michael, and taking a tour of this venue, it was amazing. Michael was more than accommodating, and listened to what we really wanted. Even though we didn't use this place, I would still recommend it to others as a beautiful venue with a great planner!

both the ceremony and reception there was also great not only for the bridal party, but the guests... No waiting in between the two and no driving. If I could do it all again, I would def. do the everything again at the DCCH!

otel rooms right on site. The wedding coordinator gave us great ideas and helped keep us on track during the whole planning process. This venue is a little pricier than others in the area, but definitely worth it.

Kern kept me 100% in the loop. I was the type of bride that had been planning my wedding since i was a child, in fact, I was dreading planning the wedding. Cami kept in me on track for when i needed to have certain things turned in or done by. DCCH has a wonderful staff and ALL the amenities, which took the stress off my shoulders. If i needed ANYTHING, they were at my beckon call! They even cleaned up all our decorations after the ceremony and boxed them up for me so we didn't have to do any of it! The food was EXCELLENT! Nothing but compliments! Venue was beautiful with the uplighting my DJ brought. Room was spacious, large dance floor, full bar, easy access to bathrooms. This venue is pricier than other venues in the area, but in the end, it was worth it to me for the quality of a party we had & the peace of mind knowing everything was going to go smoothly and be taken care of without me or my family having to even think about it. I was able to go to my reception and relax and have a good time rather than stressing about certain things or cleaning up at the end of the night. I would highly recommend DCCH if you dont mind spending a little extra $$ but want the best venue with the best staff & best food for your one and only BIG day!!!

for the day of our wedding! From the time-line to keeping me updated with all of the final touches- like the meal plan and cocktail hour- she was always informative and let me know asap when something changed and what-not. Without her, I wouldn't have been able to have the wonderful day with my friends and family that I was able to just ENJOY! not worry about whether or not the flowers made it to the venue on time and so on- she took care of ALL of the fine-print details so I could just have fun with my husband!! :) I will say, it was a little expensive- my father paid for it- but the venue was COMPLETELY worth it... every penny! We got Cami!!!! as a wedding coordinator, we had the DCCH cater the reception and cocktail hour and the food was SOOO amazing- we had compliments from all of our guests about how delicious the meal was! The staff was so accommodating as well! I've been braggin on Cami for a while & although she was a HUGE part of keeping that day going smoothly, without the rest of the staff from DCCH it wouldn't have gone as easy and carefree as it did. I was told numerous times that our wedding was elegant and classy and one of the best that they've been to! So that definately shows how good the DCCH performed that day :) ALSO- there is a pond behind the DCCH which was a beautiful place for taking pictures! (that way we didn't have to actually leave the premisis LOL) SO, I think it's safe to say- if your ideal wedding is centered around elegance & a classy location- then DCCH is definately the place to look into!

taff were very calm, cool, and collected from the beginning planning stages to the big day! They thought of little details that made my day extra special that I hadn't thought of! The food was delicious and I received many compliments on it! The banquet staff did their job without being a distraction to my guests. The sleeping rooms very nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel for a wedding reception!

ith the affordable group rate. Our reception was in the gorgeous MLK Ballroom with high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers and plenty of space for the dance floor, dinner buffet, bar, and photo booth to all be in the same room. Our grand entrance from the second level staircase was also quite memorable and made for great photo opportunities. The staff at the DCC&H who coordinated the wedding reception were fabulous. They make sure you have everything you need (even going as far as placing 2 extra meals in the honeymoon suite for us since we all know the bride & groom don't eat much at their wedding!), along with a bottle of champagne and chocolates. I would highly recommend this venue for any bride in the central Illinois area who wants personalized attention & multiple options for room size and layout! We loved having our reception at the Decatur Conference Center & Hotel!
