ute out vision, and gave honest feedback about which decor choices they did and didn't recommend for us with our venue and why. Within a few minutes of conversation I could tell they understood my vision and were even suggesting a backdrop piece that had been used at other venues but not yet at TCoM, but that they thought would be perfect there for the very geometric, art-deco inspiration we were going for. After seeing the pictures of it I knew it was perfect! It was wonderful to work with someone who understood what I was looking for and was able to make design suggestions to bring my vision to life. And they had my stupid gold chairs! (as I called them) One thing I became fixated early on in the planning process was that I really really wanted gold chiavari chairs. There were so many things about my wedding I didn't care about, but I wanted those stupid gold chairs! We were able to rent said chairs from Decor 1601. All of their prices were very reasonable, and they took care of their part of the decorating and dropped off the things we were going to set up early enough that we could get everything set up before the evening of Friday the 28th, (when we were having the rehearsal), and so everything was ready and we had nothing to worry about on Saturday, the actual wedding day. Though keep in mind we had rented TCoM for Friday and Saturday. Even so I know they work with you and your venue to try to make sure things are decorated or dropped off with plenty of time to spare.
They were a joy to work with. Between their decor and TCoM's decor closet, my decoration was pretty much covered, and I don't know if anyone even stopped to notice that I didn't have any flowers or greenery used in my decor!

Decor 1601 did exactly what I needed. They put in a big ole stage for the band (it was huge, but obviously they knew what they were doing). And they had draperies for our ceremony....
Our venue was walls of windows on a busy downtown intersection. The simple draperies made a world of a difference to keep all eyes on ME (oh yeah, and my husband) but really. The professionalism, know-how, and delivery was amazing!
