a timeline and helpful details for the day (which was 18 months away!) Our engagement photos were amazing, and gave us a sneak peek on what to expect on our big day. Kris and Dee we so fun to work with, and helped us loosen up and have fun during our session. The day of the wedding, they were photographers, wedding planners, and Best Man/Maid of Honor all rolled into one! They anticipated our every need and jumped into the fray of wedding morning craziness. They added special personal touches throughout the day, that allowed me and my husband to stop and appreciate the small moments. Thanks to them our wedding day went off without a hitch, AND they delivered AMAZING photos. I am so happy with the finished product, and can't decide amongst the hundreds of photos which ones we want to hang in our home. If you want a fun, talented, knowledgeable team - Dee and Kris are the photographers for you.

our wedding day, they work with you on your timeline, which for us was just what we needed (we didn’t have a wedding coordinator until the day-of). They gave us tips outside of photography that we used and appreciated. Most importantly, the pictures were amazing! We got our teasers the day after our wedding and got to spend our flight to our honeymoon looking through them. We got all of our wedding photos within a month of our wedding and the range of shots from traditional to artsy floored us. I hate seeing photos of myself (and having my photo taken), but they made everything easy and made us feel so confident.

They wanted to know personal details about us and our families and really tried to get to know our style and personalities. They didn't force a formula on us, but still made really helpful suggestions that worked for what we were trying to achieve. They worked seamlessly with our vendors, including our coordinator, and really knew the venue like the back of their hands, getting all the perfect shots quickly and easily. They have a sixth sense for all the things that go on and even Kris appeared magically to fix my bustle when it broke on the dance floor! They also just really got us and our wedding party and family members' personalities and tapped into that to keep things pretty stress free and fun during what was otherwise a long and emotional day. They cranked through all of the obligatory portraits (which still looked great) and focused on capturing those fun and candid moments that you really treasure when you're looking back at your wedding photos. They made the day fun, which was so important, especially in those hours before the ceremony where nerves and emotions can really take over. If you're getting married, I couldn't recommend Dee and Kris more. Even if your 1-2 years out from your date book them NOW. You will not regret it, and one day when you're an old married just forcing everyone to look at your old wedding photos, they'll be so impressed with how amazing everything was (and how good you and your partner looked!).

They are both so talented and it's really cute to see how they work together to get the most gorgeous photos. I was really nervous about being in front of a camera for an entire day but nothing felt staged or forced. She had me and and my bridal party busting up laughing while we were doing prep and knew when to step back and observe when the moment was right. I wont spoil any surprises for you guys but they went above and beyond, even after the wedding! l as, engagement photography. We were referred to them by our dear friends and are eternally grateful for finding them so early on in our engagement. We were blown away how our engagement photos turned out building the suspense to see how the big wedding day photos would be. Before we knew it the week of the wedding arrived. They took the extra time upfront to meeting with us to go over the pre-wedding questionnaire. This was extremely helpful as it ensured Dee & Kris and us were aligned on what was important to capture on the big day. For example, must have shots, family portraits, timelines, etc. On the big day they were early, immediately jumped into action capturing the bridal party getting ready and all the small detail shots that could easily go unforgotten. Another important thing I must emphasize is how nurturing of a presence they have. When nerves were running high Kris especially knows how to step in and help. She has her nifty wedding day bag she carry’s with everything imaginable in it that would be of need on the big day (scissors, safety pins, tape, and so much more). Not only are you hiring photographers to capture the day, but they take their services to the next level! Fast forward to the week following the wedding we received our teasers loaded into the website. Immediately we were contacted by one of their team members to schedule the wedding collection reveal at their studio. One word WOW! The reveal experience alone was 5 star service! We got to meet the absolutely amazing staff they have at their studio (Justina and Jaclyn)! Also, we were blown away at the quality of their wedding albums and prints. Every touch point of the experience of working with Dee & Kris Photography was flawless. They are true professionals! My husband and I highly highly recommend them!

nd we thus had some idea about how it should go, along with high expectations. Dee & Kris executed the day with expertise and ease, and dealt with my crazy overbearing family and friends (almost all of whom came armed with a camera! Despite our pleading to leave them at home so they can enjoy the day too) with a ridiculous amount of patience and poise. They were so organized and calm, ran the day like the pros they are, and got some incredible shots. The photographs are stunning. her. I wanted to be able to relive our special day over and over again. Little did we know that our wedding would catch fire, and we would be evacuated from our wedding in the middle of our ceremony. Dee & Kris handled it all, they rolled with us continuing our day even with the ridge on fire, when we decided to move the ceremony up an hour, they made it happen. Dee was able to capture our first kiss, before we all ran for our lives! Kris was our rock through every emotional moment, and a constant reminder to be present. My husband and I were already emotional about the day, and Dee and Kris were our rocks when we no longer could take the pressure. We were disappointed that we did not get our dream wedding, and I was terrified about our pictures. Guess what?! They only captured the good stuff. We got more photos than the average couple, had 2 ceremonies, and 2 completely different locations with different lighting. Dee & Kris are our heros, and we are so blessed to have them in our lives. The day of our wedding was hot, but they kept everyone's energy levels up with their positive attitudes and amazing energy. We also had a tight schedule, but they managed to work quickly and efficiently, and we ended up ahead of schedule to allow for some down time to get out of the heat. Literally everyone at my wedding was raving about them, and telling me how fantastic they are. And of course, their pictures are breathtaking. I usually hate being in front of the camera but their direction and commentary put me at ease and made me feel beyond comfortable. My husband and I opted to go over our photography budget in order to get quality photos (since this will be how we remember our wedding day for the rest of our lives!), and I don't regret it at all. ur engagement and wedding, I got to know Kris really well and felt even more comfortable with them capturing all them special moments on our big day. I am admittedly a control freak but on the wedding day I wanted to relinquish control and be in the moment. I knew they were the team for the job. The day of, I worried about nothing. Kris said that's our job and the realtionship we had built, I believed and trusted her. They were SO fun to work with day of (we can all be the fun type of crazy) and they went along for the ride. There wasn't one guest that I talked to that didn't mention how awe our photographers were. They captured all of the moments. Even the ones we didn't notice happening. I have tears in my eyes as I write this because I cannot imagine our day without them. My biggest regret would've been not having them there to capture these moments in time forever. We were also lucky enough to have Dee & Kris take our engagement photos; our friends and family were blown away! Fast forward a year, and Dee & Kris truly made my wedding day, a day I will never forget! They even stayed late to capture some AMAZING photos of our friends and family dancing during our reception. My husband and I are brought back to special moments of our day, with such vivid memory every time we go through our photos, and we are SO GRATEFUL! First of all, the initial meeting with Kris was spectacular. She helped us put together a wedding day timeline and presented questions we hadn't even thought of. We instantly felt comfortable and KNEW that there would not be hiccups in our wedding day with her there, and there weren't! Next- we had engagement photos, which was a way better experience than I anticipated. They helped us feel comfortable and we were blown away by our photos (and how quickly we got them back!). Finally, the wedding day! All of our guests raved about how much they loved them. Kris even had a sewing kit on her to help me when my bustle ripped. Again, our photos were fabulous and we got them back so much sooner than we had expected. Oh! AND their staff helped us put together a 30 spread (60 page) wedding album. I truly would have been lost without Dee & Kris and all they did to assist me in my wedding and providing us with the most beautiful photos we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Family photos were a point of stress for us going into the wedding day (lots of family members to accommodate and a few strong personalities), but Dee and Kris did a great job of corralling everyone and keeping things quick and fun. We've just gotten our first round of photos back (they knew we were leaving soon for the honeymoon, so they rushed to get the "teaser" album to us in just a couple days!), and they are absolutely stunning. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with Dee and Kris. We would hire them again in a heartbeat, and would give them the highest recommendation possible.

s via skype. From the moment we "met" Kris via skype we knew they would be a great fit. Kris is extremely organized and TIMELY! We first met them during our engagement session in San Francisco. They were so easy to work with and helped us feel relaxed and have fun while having our pictures taken. Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to Dee & Kris. They "ran" our time line and really kept our wedding party and family on time. They arrived 30 minutes early and also stayed late when our wedding reception events ran over time with no problem at all. Kris is also someone who will get your family members in the place they need to be at the right time, which was very important to us because we have a large family. Dee & Kris worked very well together and separate and were able to get amazing shots of both myself and my husband getting ready on the day of our wedding. There were many awesome things that we loved about Dee & Kris, but one of our favorites was that they send you "teaser" photos within 3 days of the wedding. We received over 25 photos from our wedding before we left on our honeymoon and were able to share them with family and friends! It was so amazing. We absolutely loved the wedding & engagement photos. They each, Kris & Dee have their own style and the photos turned out so great. We cannot recommend them enough. Hiring Dee & Kris will be one of the best wedding planning decisions you will make! I want to have another reason to hire them in the future because it was so fun and everything turned out so perfect.

knew just how to get the perfect shots. Our "teasers" were done 2 days after our wedding and they took my breath away. It was also great to have them do our engagement shoot so that we could get to know each other (and so that Jason got used to taking pictures - he hates getting his picture taken, but after spending time with Dee and Kris he didn't complain about pictures on the day of at all!). Overall, they are amazing and I would tell everyone that this would be the easiest decision to choose Dee and Kris for your photographers!

y. Both have tons of experience with weddings. Dee was kind enough to come to the SF bay area to shoot our engagement session (at no extra cost). We also got a lot of photos (dare I say, too many) to choose from for our wedding album. The only thing is, they are not the type of photographers to tell you to fix your veil or straighten your dress, so make sure you have someone designated to make you and your party look good in the posed shots.
