Prior to that, she answered every question I or anyone else had, she made sure things were the way we wanted them for both the reception and ceremony the day of and the day prior. Even before the big day, she was very responsive to answering all my crazy emails, meeting with me when it was convenient for me and after hours for her. Bottom line, Rachel made our day smooth, she reduced SO MUCH STRESS from me and I knew I/we were in good hands with her at the wheel. My family and friends just raved at how awesome she was and how great the venue was. Go see Deer Creek and talk to Rachel about your big day...there will be absolutely no disappointment on your end if you do!!!

f our guests really loved the food. Ashley Cowan & Alex Sherf were easy to work with and were always very easy to reach with questions throughout the entire planning process. They were helpful in setting up our reception space, and were able to match our colors for the napkins and chair sashes which definitely helped create the look we were going for. They were very accommodating with changes we needed, floor plan set ups, and working with us to make sure the wedding is everything we wanted. The staff was great at the reception. The girls getting ready space is full of natural light which was very helpful when getting ready and when taking pictures. We also were given golf carts to use to take bridal party pictures on the golf course - which made things way easier. The only thing to note is if you do have a cash bar - the bar only takes cash. There are ATMs available which is convenient, however the alcohol was a bit pricey in comparison to other venues we had looked at per drink. We also did have some cash stolen out of 2 of the bridal party purses when they were stored away during the reception. I would make sure that if you have valuables such as purses, move them to your car once you're done with them rather than keeping them in the offices for your reception. Other than that, things were great.

rustic but classic, affordable and most importantly, all inclusive since we were planning a wedding from out of state which always makes tasks more difficult. Deer Creek is the perfect venue for someone who wants all of the basics already included - tables, linens, food, chair covers, etc. While much of the decor was included, we were still able to completely customize it with our own personal touches in the Seasons Room. We met with Alex who immediately made us feel comfortable (a gay wedding in Kansas is kind of outside of the norm) and we were convinced! Our wedding was absolutely perfect - Ashley was our coordinator and was constantly on hand to answer questions prior to the wedding and was running around the day of trying to do last minute things for us. The food was delicious (I'm high maintenance when it comes to buffet food), our bartender was a favorite of the night because of his cocktails that tasted like candy, and overall it's a beautiful location.

She was always available, and was able to help us with ideas we had and implemented them better than we imagined. She was everywhere the day of our wedding, making sure everything was going on schedule. I've never been to a wedding that started on time, but she made it happen! I can't thank her and the rest of the staff enough for making it a day to remember! We received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the atmosphere! Absolutely would recommend this venue to anyone!

o weddings going on and wedding coordinator was not there. We were told she will be back in about 5 minutes. When we finally met with her she didn't know we were coming because we set up the date and time with the other coordinator there. She was off for the day. We were rushed through the site. Very poor communication. When we said there was flys around the wedding cupcakes they looked at us like what do you want us to do. It seems like they run the weddings through like cattle and not take the time with you.

She handled everything so all I had to do before the wedding was relax. She did a great job running everything and the timing during the ceremony was excellent. She worked well with my other vendors. There was actually another wedding going on that day, but she had no problem running both of ours. You couldn't even tell there was another wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful! I have gotten so many compliments on the venue! Deer Creek did everything they could to make our day beautiful and memorable! We were so fortunate to have such a great venue!

everything was great until Ashley took over as event coordinator, I only found out about the change because I stopped by their booth at a wedding show in October, after that communication only happened if I initiated it. We were told that we could come decorate the day before the wedding unless the reception space was booked, we found out a wine and Paint event was scheduled on Friday night not from Ashley, but from our DJ because he was told he couldn't set up early. Then the day before the wedding Ashley called and said she canceled the event and we could come decorate. Since we weren't planning this we only had a couple hours free but we tried making the most of it. Then the next day we showed up at 12 for a 3 pm ceremony and half the tables weren't set up so my family and bridesmaids decorated in a bit of a frenzy. Because we had rented both rooms we were supposed to have the Bridal Suite to get ready in and even paid to have Deer Creek cater lunch but when we showed up we had been moved to a side office because they had booked a lunch in the Bridal suite, this didn't make for great getting ready pictures. A few great things was that they gave us golf carts to take the whole wedding party out for pictures and on top of having great food they were able to work with us on some dietary restriction which I appreciated so much. Everything worked out and we had a great wedding but the management made everything very stressful on an already stressful day.

have gone any smoother. Although there was another wedding booked at Deer Creek the same evening, you would have never known that they were in the room next to us. The staff was very professional and helped us make our day so special. We had the perfect wedding day at DCGC.

d I wasn’t ever worried that they would forget something. Guests commented how much they loved the food. The only downside we had was that we had to wait on golf carts to go take bridal party photos on the golf course, so we didn’t get as much time for pictures as we had allotted for. The servers brought the bridal party some of the appetizers before the reception started, which would normally get overlooked. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from for napkins and chair ties so that you can select the perfect ones to match your wedding colors. They also have a decorations closet so if you need some things for centerpieces, so you might be able to just use some of their decorations. The reception looked beautiful and I was very pleased with selecting Deer Creek! I would highly recommend using them!

m giving this 4 starts and not 5 is because there was another event going on in the other room and I would have preferred times not be booked so close together. That is my personal opinion and am sure this happens at many other facilities.

e day of coordinator was so friendly and very easy to talk to. Not to mention everything we needed was located in one area/venue with plenty of space (outdoor ceremony, indoor reception and a adjacent hotel sharing the parking lot). We had a wedding of about 140 guest and there was still room for dancing, a photo-booth, dj, and the buffet/cake without moving a single table around. The venue could not have been more wonderful to us. My Husband and I could not be more excited that we found them for out wedding!

Everyone thought that the ceremony in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the golf course was spectacular. We also got incredible photos on the golf course. My husband and I had a lot of DIY decor and individualized touches that we wanted to include to decorate the ceremony and reception space, and Alex was so flexible about it all and even let us drop off a lot of items in advance to help make the day-of less hectic. Alex is very organized and really wants to help your vision come true. My husband and I got the unique, elegant, and guest-focused wedding that we wanted.

We love the fact that they let us use their golf cart so that we can drive around the golf course to take great photos.All of my guest was so delighted with the food. il. I recommend doing one of their reception packages. They set up and break down and the price you pay includes gratuities, taxes, food, all of it. They run the whole thing the day of, so you don't have to worry about the coordinating. Highly recommend! Plus our pictures on the golf course were beautiful!

the event to be sure that we had everything exactly as we wanted. They helped with some of the decorating ideas, but weren't too pushy. On the day of someone was there to help us in every way we needed. They even helped the guys pin their boutonnieres. They even cleaned up everything for us so that we had one less thing to worry about. They gave us a golf cart so that we could drive around with our photographer and take private pictures. The food was amazing! The cocktail hour got rave reviews as well as the carving station at dinner and all the other dinner items. Best of all, for everything you get, the price is VERY reasonable! I would hold future events here for sure! Everything went off without a hitch! It was incredible. I would recommend this space to anyone!

g we would do wouldnt hold true until the day of. The day of was perfect. When we arrived all the guests were enjoying themselves at their cocktail hour. My husband and I were whisked away to Linda's office on our arrival to take pictures in order to stay out of view of guests for a moment. It was 100 degrees outside so we were cooling off and we were greeted with bottled water and our appetizers that they had at our cocktail hour! We then used the golf carts to go take pictures in the shade! As soon as we were introduced the venue looked amazing. Everything was set up according to plan. We even had assigned tables for everyone and it went without a hitch. I was so happy to have picked a venue that did everything from cutting the cake to cleaning up at the end. I was also told they watched over the gift table like hawks. I highly recommend deer creek golf club and also any venue that will take care of you on your day. We decided last minute to keep the party going for another hour and that was also no problem for deer creek and the bartender. We only have great memories from deer creek!

The ceremony location is beautiful, as is the rest of the clubhouse for reception purposes. They, specifically Oba Kumi, were wonderful to work with from Day 1 all the way through the end of the reception. They are willing to work with you and really make the day about what you want and what you consider to be your perfect day. There were several things already included that if you were dealing with an outside caterer you would be paying extra for -- for example, they cut our cake and served it to the guests rather than just having the pieces sitting on a table. Definitely an elegant touch. I was more than impressed and if I ever need to plan another event I would definitely consider holding it at Deer Creek!
