Perfect weather, perfect venue... felt like a dream! We wanted Coloradesque vibes for our wedding since we, along with all of our 65 guests, are from out of state. DCVR has it. Mountain range in our backdrop with stretches of land and forest - such an authentic rustic atmosphere. Our guests could not stop talking about how magical this place felt and were delighted with deer sightings on the ranch! We loved every single moment here. The Homestead is so intimate and elegant - Pine Cathedral and the Hearth Patio gave us the outdoor sophistication we envisioned, while the Ballroom had the perfect space for dinner and dancing. We especially loved the string lights and ceiling drapes. We worked with a few of the DCVR team, all were so accommodating and wanted to make our day special to us. My husband and I didn't know much about organizing a wedding, but Christian supported us with suggestions and words of wisdom that kept us grounded. Amber was prepared us with wedding day details at our rehearsal and continued to check in while we were getting ready at the ranch house. Cece helped answer our questions as we coordinated with vendors. We truly appreciated the ease of communication and heartfelt service provided to us by the DCVR team. What a magical experience hosting our wedding ceremony and reception at the Homestead at Deer Creek Valley Ranch this past weekend! Everyone we met was incredibly helpful onsite at the walk-through a month before, and our guests could not stop talking about the scenery and flow of the whole evening. We've already gotten a few photos back, and they are just incredible. I would recommend working with Christian, Cece, and Amber anytime! 10/10

We had the most amazing Fall wedding at Deer Creek! We got married at the Pine Cathedral and had our reception at the Homestead. It was so incredibly beautiful and just so much fun for our guests, whether they were from Colorado or not, we all enjoyed the views! We loved having all the different spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. Deer Creek was by far the friendliest and most helpful wedding venue we looked at, and we just felt so loved by them. It was amazing!!

Cece and the team at Deer Creek Valley Ranch are the best! they help you through every step and really make sure everything runs smoothly. They are kind, informed, supportive, and just overall wonderful. They have strong relationships with other vendors in the wedding industry which makes the whole planning experience that much easier. We could not have been happier with out wedding at The Barn. The staff were amazing, they made sure we had everything we needed, and were very helpful when rain came in. We're extremely happy this is where we decided to get married!

DCVR was our dream wedding location! It had everything we wanted and so much more. Cece and Christian made the day such a breeze! Leading up to the wedding, they were informative and helped answer any and all questions we had. Beautiful venue, great on-site accommodations, and amazing staff! My wife, Sara, and I are incredibly grateful for everything they did to make our wedding happen. On short notice (48 hours) they helped us relocate our wedding due to the wildfires in northern Colorado. Cece and Christian made us feel welcome and helped ease the stress of the situation. It all turned out perfectly and my wife and I could not be more happy! Thank you!

The venue was absolute gorgeous!!! We could not have been happier with how the ceremony and reception went!!! We chose to also stay the night of the wedding as the accommodations were wonderful and the bridal suite was perfect for the bride and groom! A special thank you to Christian and Cece! They were so incredibly helpful through the entire process and we are so grateful for their help making our daughters special day so perfect. We highly recommend this location for a beautiful Colorado wedding!

Our daughter got married this past September and Deer Creek Valley Ranch completely blew our expectations out of the water! Due to the COVID 19 mess we lost our original wedding venue 27 days before the wedding. In comes Christian, CeCe and DCVR to the rescue. From our first conversation to the end of the night, Christian and CeCe were amazing. Working with us on such a last minute basis, they were calm and helpful throughout. With all that COVID dealt us, we also had to deal with a last minute change due to inclimate weather. None of our guests had a clue that anything was other than what we originally planned. Our daughter's wedding was beautiful, initimate and so very special, made even more wonderful by having it at DCVR.

Deer Creek Valley Ranch was an absolute dream! Both the owners and the venue manager, Cece, are truly the sweetest and most kindhearted people! They were so easy and helpful to work with while planning our wedding - especially during such a strange and chaotic year. They went out of their way to keep us informed on any changes regarding COVID and they worked above and beyond to make sure that we were able to still have our day exactly has we had hoped! Deer Creek Valley Ranch is an outstanding venue and I wouldn’t have had my wedding anywhere else!!

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is a dream venue come true. The staff there is so helpful, they answered every question I had beforehand, and made our wedding day the most special day possible and they also work with some of the best vendors. I would choose this venue over and over again and highly recommend hiring Deer Creek if you want the best experience possible for your wedding day.

Everything was extremely professional, from the initial visit, engagement photos, the 30-day walkthrough, preparations the day of the wedding, and all of the little details you take for granted when a wedding goes perfectly. The field was perfect for the ceremony and photos. The patio was perfect for our happy hour, first dances and cake cutting, and the barn is really neat from the upstairs balcony to the man cave in the basement. Everyone told us our wedding was amazing. Our wedding was in September 2020, but we were able to make great use of the space to keep everyone safe and distanced while still feeling cozy.

They were AMAZING! The entire team at DCVR was extremely welcoming, quick to reply, and very helpful with anything we needed. There were no questions that were left unanswered in the entire process. Ashlyn and I were not just another wedding that they hosted, but we were part of their family. They brought us in and made us feel like one of their own. I couldn’t of asked for a better team. Deer Creek Valley Ranch and its team are hands down the best venue out their.

My husband and I first fell in love with DCVR when we toured back in 2019, so we had no hesitation about booking them as our venue for our 2020 wedding, not knowing what this year would bring. Through all the mandates and restrictions, Cece and Christian have been so great to deal with, and so accommodating to my needs/restrictions as a full-time nursing student. Although we had to make some adjustments, my wedding day was still one of the best days of my life, and I know a lot of that has to do with Cece and Christian, and how much hard work they have put in to make DCVR such a beautiful venue. Cece has always been so attentive to any questions or concerns I have had, and has always made herself available to me. Christian was even there day of, and offered to drive me down to the ceremony site in her Tesla, talk about a grand entrance! The kind words and advice shared on our drive is something I'll hold dear in my heart forever. Cece also brought out carrots for us to feed the horses during our golden hour pictures, a little thing to do, but added such a fun memory to a day that is already so special. We were looking for a venue that would give our guests (especially the few out of town ones who we were still able to invite) a taste of what Colorado is. Purposely having a long engagement, I was diligent in venue-shopping all along the front range, and you really cannot find anything better, and at a more affordable rate, than DCVR. I'll be honest, at first I was a little annoyed about having to hire a coordinator, BUT I can now say it was one of the best things I could have done as a bride, and I am actually super grateful that it happened. Christian and Cece have been doing this for awhile, and their experience really shines through. They are the most kind-hearted, genuine, loving people, and I am so glad I got to share my wedding day with them, and have their support throughout the entire planning process. My wedding was nothing short of the perfect day I had envisioned, I can't thank Cece and Christian and everyone else at DCVR enough for that.

This venue is MAGICAlL!!! We were looking for something that felt secluded and in the woods where our guest could enjoy the beauties of Colorado and the Homestead fit the bill!! There are amazing views in every direction and you don't have to go far to get epic photos. Even though it was a little colder than expected on our wedding date, our guest were able to huddle around the lovely fireplace on the Duke Terrace. Seems they are constantly making updates and the new and improved bridal suite is AMAZING!!! Cece is a pleasure to work with- very responsive to all and any questions. You can tell she truly cares and loves her job. I didn't mind being limited with the vendors- Peak was great and I highly recommend Serendipity for the catering!!! Overall, can't say enough great things about this venue and the price is great compared to similar set-ups!

Edit: I'd like to add a quick edit to address the owner's response. A week after the review went live, Christian called me, apologized, and asked "How do we improve?" We had a pleasant conversation and I left the call thinking "You know what? That was very gracious of them." I passed the venue today and randomly checked the review, and I see a reply basically calling us low rent dirtbags. Very disappointed that I get one attitude over the phone, and the complete opposite posted online. Very low class. Anyway, Jen and I were married at Deer Creek Valley Ranch October 13th, 2019, with a guest count of just under fifty. We experienced ongoing disappointment in our dealings with the owners, Christian and Tim, especially after we had made a first payment The smallest requests became large hassles. Something as simple as "Can we use the ceremony chairs for the reception?" or "Can we have a friend or family member act as an informal wedding planner since it's such a small ceremony?" were immediately shot down. Receiving email replies routinely took a week or longer, with us usually having to follow up once or twice before we'd hear back. Often, the answers were blow-offs at best, or downright condescending at worst Deer Creek has an approved vendor list. Their wedding packet states "This ends up saving our clients a lot of money." Three approved caterers we spoke with offered drink service at half the cost of Peak, the sole approved beverage provider. I brought this to Christian and was told "You can't use another beverage provider." I mentioned the saving money quote, then was told "We never said that." I forwarded a screen shot of the packet and then it became "You're just seeing what you want to see" followed by an analogy about misreading a weather report in Hawaii. The last thing I heard on this topic was that the vendors may be misleading us with their quotes, which is an odd thing to say about the venue's approved vendors The sole approved chairs/linens rental company was charging twice what comparable companies in the area were. We asked them to match and they said they'd have to ask the venue (which implies a kickback). They matched chairs, but not linens, and basically said "If you don't like it cancel your order" which we couldn't do, since they're the sole approved vendor Two of the ceremony sites are roughly half a mile, and a mile, up a dirt road. They charge $450 for a shuttle to drive up that road. Meanwhile, a shuttle company charged us $458 to drive from Denver to Bailey and back We asked if they had heat lamps, and they said "No, you can rent them." Bailey can drop to the 30's at night in the Summer, let alone Spring or Fall; the venue can't invest in a couple of heat lamps? Jen asked about coming early for hair and makeup to be done at the venue. They said no because they'd be there at 6am setting up, there may be tours, but that for $750 an hour they could do it. What? How does providing one small area prevent them from setting up? Or giving a tour? Wouldn't they know if a tour were scheduled? How many hours of setup did 6 tables require? Why, when I dropped some bins off at the venue around 8am, was there one woman there vacuuming who told me she was alone all morning? How does paying $750 an hour alleviate any of this? Deer Creek did not provide a warm experience. We would've backed out if these problems occurred before the first deadline

This venue is absolutely beautiful. There is wonderful scenery and the decor is great. My wife and I had are wedding here and this was by far our favorite vendor to work with. Cece the venue manager is probably one of the greatest people on Earth. She helped us out with so many things I don't think I could possibly list them all. You can tell that she truly loves her job and cares about her customers. When it came to planning our wedding Deer Creek Valley Ranch was by far the best choice we made. If you are thinking about having a wedding here but are on the fence about it I'll give you some advice. Book here, you will not regret it.

Our Wedding would not have been the same without CeCe and her crew at Deer Creek. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted and was flawless. Deer Creek Valley Ranch is very accommodating to your needs and answer emails really quick making the planning process so much easier. The venue itself is breathtaking and all our guests were complementing how beautiful everything was. Our wedding was on Oct 11, 2019 a day after Colorado’s first snow. The whole week before the wedding was in the 80’s and then the day before the wedding it was snowy and in the 20’s. We were still able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour and first dances outside due to the care of the ranch’s team getting things cleared for us. I would highly suggest this venue to anyone who is planning a wedding or any other type of event. We had our ceremony at The Gazebo and our reception in the Barn. The guests absolutely loved the “man cave”!

DCVR was the perfect venue for our wedding. Cece and the DCVR staff were so accommodating and professional, helping to make our wedding *seem* like it went off without a hitch. The venue is breathtaking, and has something for everyone. We had our wedding at The Barn, which includes two options for an outdoor ceremony, both capturing the beauty of the valley. The Barn was perfect for the reception and dancing (and lots of dancing), and kept things intimate and efficient. Cece and her staff definitely went the extra mile to make sure our day was perfectly hours. I can't thank them enough for that in taking all the calls from my planner...and my dad, to make that happen. Our wedding day we were visited by one of the great Colorado staples- late afternoon thunderstorms. We really wanted to have the reception outside, so Cece and our wedding crew planned for that. But with multiple backup options. We ended up having to use the backup options, but even that was perfect! Cece and her staff went out of the way to move everyone indoors, and make sure the ceremony was still part of our vision. I will never forget this day, and it's all thanks to DCVR and Cece.

DCVR is amazing. From the owners to the management team, I couldn’t have felt more at home at this venue. We had our ceremony in the meadow and the reception at the barn and the sunset was incredible. There is not other place we would have wanted to get married.

By the time I went to visit Deer Creek Valley Ranch, I already knew it was the venue for me, and didn’t even bother to visit any others. We wanted something comfortable, beautiful, and outdoorsy, that would introduce our many travelling guests to the best Colorado has to offer and also provide an easy flow of events throughout our day. I also wanted a venue that would make sure we were the only couple getting married there that day and give us at least 10 hours on-site. Lastly, we needed a dog-friendly spot that would allow us to have our pup in our ceremony. Our main focus in planning our event was ease, accessibility, and FUN—we didn’t want to waste any time on needless formality, we just wanted a gorgeous place to have the best celebration ever. And we got all that and more, thanks to the facilities at DCVR and the team there (especially Cece) completely understanding and honoring what we wanted. Our day was so perfect I can’t even believe it. It was pouring rain just an hour before our ceremony at the Gazebo, and I had pretty much accepted getting married in the drizzle that was left by the time it rolled around, and yet… the sky cleared literally right before I walked down the aisle. Butterflies were flying around during our ceremony, the horses were out… it was just absolutely magical. I will treasure my memories of our day at DCVR forever.

Used for my ceremony at the Gazebo and my reception was in the Barn and at the Fireside Patio. The ranch is beautiful and the staff are amazing. They made sure my day went perfectly. The setting is so beautiful. I would not change a thing about my special day. Cece runs the ranch for the owners and she is the sweetest!

This place is fantastic! Cece is so awesome and really helps you figure things out for your wedding! They give you a full list of preferred vendors and really try and make sure that you're happy with everything. If you're looking for a big beautiful ranch, with a rustic, sophisticated feel to it, and enough room for a hundred people this is the place to go!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. All of the ladies were so helpful and had tons of great ideas for our big day. Everything went off without a hitch! Not to mention how gorgeous the views are out there!

Loved having my wedding here! The only thing to keep in mind is that they are venue only so every other details (even the small ones) need to be figured out by other vendors. But having my wedding here was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't have changed it for anything. :)

Deer Creek was the perfect venue for our wedding and we were able to make our rustic, boho, neutral wedding come to life. It was everything we wanted and more. The staff was so helpful and they wanted to ensure our vision was met as well. We're very happy with our experience!

The venue was absolutely breathtaking. Every one of the staff was SO friendly and helpful! We even got thank you's from the property owners! Included in the wonderful low price is an additional engagement session, which can be used for anything, which we will probably use for our newborn photos as we are now expecting! You get the whole venue to yourself the entire day so there is no sharing or confusion! There are horses on the property that you can take photos with which was a huge selling point to us! The size of the venue was perfect for our 100 guests, not too big, not too small! They have two locations for your ceremony to take place, we chose the gazebo which was beautiful! Highly recommend this venue!

Just go to the property! You will love the renovated barn, but once you see the views of the mountains you won't want to leave. The whole team at DCVR are amazing! 110% would choose DCVR again for our wedding!

Cece, Emma, and Christian were wonderful people to work with! They choose the best vendors for you to choose from and they make themselves available every step of the way! They are all kind and make you feel like family. I had my destination wedding there and my guests RAVED about how amazing everything was! They couldn't get over the fact that they could dance and then hang out in the man cave during the reception! It was truly a wonderful day and I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. If you're having a Colorado, laid back wedding....this place can't be beat!

This was truly the most amazing wedding venue ever. Not only was the venue itself so beautiful in every way, but Cece and Emma were so accommodating. Spectacular mountain views, beautiful barn, and the man cave is just so much fun! My husband and I are so happy we chose this venue for our big day. I have no regrets about our wedding venue - except that after I chose it, my family and fiancé started adding guests, so my quaint small wedding (perfect for DCVR) quickly escalated to a mini panic about how to fit the ever growing guest list. Christian and Lindsey were so sweet and accommodating -- even when we asked to bring our horses and a steer!! Absolutely loved having our wedding here!

Amazing Wedding Venue! Lindsey was great through out the process, she was super friendly and very helpful. Not only is the location beautiful but the Barn itself has so much character and history you do not need add much on the decoration side. We had our wedding here last weekend and it was a blast. We had lots of friends and family come from out of town to enjoy our mountain wedding. To top things off a black bear came by to check out the party!

We loved our wedding at Deer Creek Valley Ranch! We had almost all out of state guests and they raved about the mountain views and restored barn. My groom absolutely loved the man cave for his groomsman to hang out in before the wedding. The ceremony site was gorgeous as is the fireside patio and barn loft. The venue manager, Lindsey, is a delight to work with. She was so responsive and engaged throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend this venue! We had a blast at our wedding.

DCVR was exactly what we imagined our wedding venue to look like. We laughed when we originally visited because we had driven past it so many times and not even realized what it was. Lindsey was absolutely amazing. We took over a year to plan our wedding and she worked with us throughout the entire process. The list of vendors for catering really helped us focus our efforts on just a few companies which I really liked. The suggested list of DJs also helped make sure we had someone who knew the venue and could coordinate a smooth day. The venue is breath taking where it rests in the valley and even though it was cloudy on our wedding day, it was gorgeous and everything we wanted! I panicked when there was a threat of rain, but Lindsey had so many back up plans that I knew it would run smooth. Lindsey really helped us personalize our wedding and did everything she could to help. We got married in the field and used the area right next to it for cocktail hour with yard games. It was perfect! Like other reviews, we loved being the only wedding there on that day (something that was a must for us). The interior of the barn is gorgeously arranged and crafted that we didn't really need additional decorations. The outdoor patio made for the perfect setting for our first dance and speeches. Our closest friends and family were taken back because they knew the venue was perfect for us and could not get over how stunning the venue and the views were.

Our day was absolutely stunning! The weather was almost perfect, slightly windy! Minus some hick ups with our wedding coordinator the day before, Lindsey was very understanding and helpful with anything we needed. The venue in itself is absolutely gorgeous! We chose to do our ceremony in the meadow and everything was so green! The views were beautiful! Definitely recommend this place to ANYONE! fits so many styles of weddings!

My husband and I got married at DCVR in September 2016 on Labor Day weekend. The venue far exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful due to scenery, but was also very well kept and pristine. Lindsey, the venue coordinator, was wonderful to work with. What was especially nice and caused me to choose DCVR over other venues in the front range was that I had the entire venue for a whole Saturday. I highly recommend DCVR.

Deer Creek Valley Ranch is amazing! Our wedding was a year ago there and it was beautiful. My parents were skeptical about a Colorado mountain wedding (they are from Texas), and when they got to the ranch (on the wedding day), my dad's comment was "this is spectacular." We got married out in the field where we had panoramic views of the mountains and the orange aspens. It could not have been a more beautiful day. The only snag was the bus the ranch provides to get our guests out to the field ran out of gas as it was coming to get me (the bride), so I was a little late to my own wedding (they fixed the problem as quickly as they could), but honestly it was something to laugh about and if that was the only thing to go wrong that day, I am grateful.

The owners are fantastic! They made my wedding day a perfect dream day! Using their preferred vendors and hiring a day of coordinator made it that my day went off without a hitch. If you want a beautiful venue for both your ceremony and reception- you have come to the right place!

The whole experience was incredible and I truly am thankful we found this place. The views from any of their wedding sites are beautiful and we loved that they only did one wedding a day.
