s to have our ceremony outdoors by the gazebo with the reception indoors. The manager, Holly, was very kind & helpful during planning & organization the day. Me, my husband, our families and friends were in awe of how great the venue was. The venue allows you to bring in your own décor as well as use their own. Holly is also a designers who is happy to make invitations and make custom slides to display on screens using your photos. We had a small wedding but it could easily accommodate hundreds of people. 10/10

I first saw photos of it, so we toured it twice (once with my mom after we checked out 2 other places). Once we got the deposit down, she was our invitation designer for Save the Dates, Delay the Dates (Covid 2020), 2 sets of invitations (IL still had Covid restrictions a year later), then a change of plans invitations. Holly lets you choose between a DIY package or a hands-off approach on invitations. Holly hosted our tasting when we chose our rehearsal dinner menu, cocktail hour menu, lunch menu before the ceremony, reception dinner menu, reception late night snack menu, and alcohol orders. Deer Valley has a lot of decorations you can use to decorate the ceremony aisle and reception centerpieces, Holly even helped us think of last-minute ideas with our centerpieces. Holly was our event coordinator for our rehearsal dinner and the entire wedding day, including jumping behind the bar when one of her bartenders didn't show up for work! She also helped us clean all of our belongings from the bridal suite up to her office to collect everything we needed before we left for the night. The entire day ran insanely smooth and Holly even made sure to put our whiskey/wine in styrofoam cups with straws when we went out to the golf course to take pictures!

cake mishap that could have been avoided but there wasn't communication to the bride/groom to see what they wanted. But all in all, I would recommend this place to my friends and family. The time of year was perfect, the building is beautiful empty, so adding your décor just makes it 100x more beautiful than it already is.
