Charles Deering, a leading commerce, environmentalism, and philanthropy figure, owned the 1920s mansion. His legacy remains today as The Deering Estate remains a center of education, culture, and conservation. This is followed by fine dining and entertainment in the courtyard. This majestic space can accommodate up to 300 guests and overlooks the main house. During inclement weather, dinner and dancing are held in a sophisticated tent. Couples who wish to say “I do” indoors can do so in The Great Hall alongside up to 80 loved ones. This elegant room complements the estate’s regal accents with crystal chandeliers, a stately fireplace, and black and white checkered floors.
