Defining Moments Special Events is a full-service wedding and special event planning company, specializing in weddings, social and corporate events. With more than 20 years of event planning experience on Florida’s Gulf Coast (30A & Destin) and in Atlanta, we are thrilled to be considered for your occasion.
Each event is unique, distinct and curated, and we are honored to play a role in your special occasion. Whether it is an intimate party at your home, a large corporate gala downtown or your dream wedding, we treat each event with personal care and commitment, as if it were our own celebration.
We offer full-service and limited service planning and coordination packages for weddings, corporate events, social events and private parties. Additionally, we are pleased to offer our all-inclusive Intimate Event Design Packages for smaller parties of 6-24 people. Our quiet luxury themes will wow your guests, while allowing you to thrive at hosting with ease and enjoyment. Birthdays, anniversaries, holiday parties, baby & bridal showers, bachelorette parties and more, just leave the details to us!
We service the metro-Atlanta area inside of the perimeter, as well as surrounding cities to include (but not limited to): Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta and Cumming.

t time the sun would be setting on our wedding day (well over a year out!) so that we could start locking in times for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She was incredibly mindful of our budget and made thoughtful recommendations on which vendors to use based on budget, past experience and quality of service.
If anything went wrong the day of the wedding, we had no idea--which is exactly how it should be--and I am sure this is largely in part to Heather's organization, professionalism and attention to detail. She truly thinks of everything--like groomsmen wearing sunglasses while ushering but not during the ceremony, reminding everyone to not chew gum and bringing individual copies of the run of show to the rehearsal, with each bridesmaid's hair and make-up time highlighted on their copy.
I could go on and on about Heather and her team, but just know you will not regret choosing Defining Moments to coordinate your wedding day!

we found Heather. She was WONDERFUL. She is very organized in every aspect with detailed budgets to detailed itineraries for everyone involved in the wedding. She is easy to work with and talk to and quick to respond with emails and phone calls. She isn't pushy, and made me feel comfortable in all decisions.
