On the day, we had a second photographer, April, who worked with Ben. They worked so well as a team, made sure we were comfortable, and made sure to capture all the pictures we wanted! From the sneak peaks, we were happy with our photos and during the studio album reveal, we were ecstatic. They captured our day in so many ways and it is great to look back on them!

We booked with one of their associate photographers, Abhi, for our wedding. I could not speak more highly of Abhi and his associate photographer, Tara, who spent the whole day with us! They were accommodating, communicative, professional, and so easy to work with! Abhi met with us several times prior to the wedding to go over details, sharing professional opinions/suggestions, and timelines. On the day of the wedding, he and Tara were an absolute pleasure to work with! Our family and friends continuously complimented us on how awesome the photographers were! They put so much care not only into their final product, but into all the preparations and thought that goes into creating such beautiful work. Ben explained everything that was included in their packages with a beautiful slideshow during our consultation and made us feel completely comfortable asking any and all questions. Our engagement session made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera and helped us to get to know Ben & Ashley even better. Seeing the photos from our engagement session made me even more excited for our wedding to come because I knew we were in good hands! A few weeks before our wedding, we filled out a detailed form to let them know exactly where we wanted to take certain shots & the family photos that we were looking for and they did not miss one that we wanted! Ben also called us ahead of time to let us know the timeline for the day and other details that would help us prepare. The actual wedding day was incredible! Ben & Ashley were there every step of the way and made sure we stayed on track with our timeline so that we could make it to our cocktail hour! They were so easy to work with the entire day & the final result was the most beautiful photos I could have imagined! The final photo reveal was such a fun experience! As soon as I stumbled across Ben & Ashley's portfolio on a wedding blog I knew I was on the right track. Do yourself a favor, and check out their website - their work speaks for itself! Once I met with Ben (virtually) I knew that he and Ashley were the right people to capture what we know will be one of the happiest days of our lives. Meeting them in person only cemented this further. We didn't have the greatest weather, and things could have been stressful, but Ben and Ashley eased our nerves, made us laugh, and helped us to relax and just have fun! And that joy we felt shone through in the stunning pictures they captured in what were certainly not optimal conditions. After a rainy engagement shoot (with stunning results), we were hoping to meet Ashley and Ben under better conditions on our wedding day. Once again, the weather did not cooperate... 45 degrees and rainy for an outdoor wedding. Ashley and Ben braved the storm, capturing stunning shots of us, while managing to keep smiles on their faces, despite being soaking wet. While we may not have been able to get some of varied outdoor portraits our venue would have provided on a sunny day, you would never know it looking at our gallery! What had really drawn us to their work, however, were the candids and oh man did they deliver!!! The raw emotion captured throughout the day truly cannot be described. We are so grateful to have they moments memorialized, and know that we will cherish them for the rest of our lives!

on our big day. They photographed everything from the prep through the cake cutting with family and couple portraits in between. We just were able to see all of the photos and choose our album layout this past weekend, and Ben and Ashley worked with us to make our dream album. Ben and Ashley were super accommodating to the changes and instead of shortening the day, they suggested that we leave more time for couple's photos with me and my husband. ared our photos. Ben and Ashley were: 1) Ninjas. I even didn’t notice where they were during the ceremony and reception. We had a very small wedding (80 guests) so I was worried all the cameras would be invasive... but Ben and Ashley are ninjas or they wore Harry Potter invisibility cloaks or something. 2) Acrobats. “Did they climb that tree to get the shot? How is that possible?” “How did they get that shot from the chandelier? Were they carrying a step ladder?” My husband and I were scratching our heads in awe. 3) Chill. It was so easy to vibe with them. I felt so comfortable throughout the process. Wedding planning can be stressful, and they were very attentive and thorough in our pre-wedding prep call. I trusted them completely. 4) Mad skilled. I mean, their photos speak for themselves. All of those raw emotional candid moments -- were captured in ways that were beyond my wildest dreams. They also took SUPER artistic shots, which we loved. Honestly I can’t even come up with 1 piece of criticism. 5) Dedicated. Ben wasn’t afraid to get on his stomach, or lay on his back, in order to get a cool portrait shot. We had a VERY busy wedding schedule and Ben and Ashley ran around and kept up with the hectic pace - I don’t even think they took a real break during those 10 hours. At the end of the night, they were literally sweating. Wedding photography is hard work, and they don’t cut corners. You can trust that they will give you 100%. Their photos will be making me and my husband smile, when we're gray and wrinkly and in rocking chairs. We can't thank Ben and Ashley enough!

elt like talking to friends. We scheduled a consultation at their studio and that REALLY sealed the deal. The presentation was extremely detailed and personalized to us. A lot of other photographers did a "cheesy" 30 min phone call, but you can really tell that Ben and Ashley took time to prepare for our consultation. Again, chatting with them was more like talking to friends who who happen to be dope photographers. I really appreciated the way they balance each other out. I saw myself through Ashley and my wife saw herself in Ben. Wedding Day: We had a full day with Ben and Ashley. They literally captured every moment. They came right in and got to work. I commend Ashley for rounding up my fellas because they were a bit all over the place. She has a great deal of patience and professionalism. Ben took so many pictures of my wife and she felt like he was barely in the room. One thing that stuck out the most was a ton of guest observed Ben and Ashley taking photos and came up to us and said, "you guys are going to get great photos, they really looked like they know what they are doing!". The funny thing is I never really saw them. This was extremely important to my wife. She wanted photographers that caught everything but stayed out the way at the same time. I really cannot stress enough how extremely detailed and talented this duo is. I am beyond satisfied. My wife was a believer before me, but after seeing the photos I am so glad we took the time to book Deibert Photography because they captured the moments that we will never get back. (I was really trying to be cost efficient, but trust me tighten the budget with other things, not the photos!) The only setback I would say is we should have done a first look. This was totally our wrong doing and had nothing to do with Deibert Photography. This option was offered to us, but we wanted to be traditional. I can see why the first look is a thing now-a-days, totally worth it! Anywho book them!

My number one priority was not to have a regimented wedding where I had to pose for the camera during the ceremony and reception. I wanted the celebration to go smoothly, and Ben and Ashley made this happen! Ben and Ashley did the most wonderful job on our wedding day at PAFA. First of all, they were so flexible and sooo easy to work with. We had a first look at a roof deck and I swear I almost did not feel I was being photographed. It was so comforting to have them around and to know that they are keeping track of the time and the next steps. They had a printed list of the requested shots and made sure not to miss any of our requests. Once the ceremony started, Ben and Ashley became almost invisible. They took all sorts of GORGEOUS photos without interrupting the course of the ceremony or reception. They captured our venue’s beautiful art and architecture. They captured the ceremony with all its emotions. I specifically loved their black and white photos. They also captured the party with all its energy. I loved the super natural photos they took, when guests were being themselves and had no idea they were photographed. I am obsessed with the photos. I keep looking at them and they put a smile on my face. It was an honor to have Ben and Ashley photograph our wedding so beautifully. We HIGHLY recommend them and can’t wait to have them capture further memories with us!

photos. We found them through research on The Knot and through another vendor referral, and their documentary style photography is the perfect mix of unique yet timeless for your special day. The were incredibly accommodating with every request we had, came early enough to get some “getting ready” photos, and even took a photo idea or too from me and what I had seen on the Internet. But the best photos were the ones that were their vision, and we trusted them entirely based on the portfolios we had seen and their Instagram page. The best part is they stayed until the end of the night, so they got amazing pictures of the reception and even my husband sliding across the floor to me during our final song, and friends lifting us up into the air-all built into the price. After the big day, they tease out some photos, and then put up about 20 teasers into a blog post. And then A MONTH LATER we got our entire portfolio emailed to us! I have heard horror stories from friends of mine who are still waiting for their photos over a year later, and ours came to us 33 days later. If you are getting married, I strongly encourage you to give Ben and Ashley a call. You, your friends, and your memories won’t regret it. Plus they are just THE COOLEST EVER.

So when we met up with Deibert Photography, we picked right back up with our conversation from the expo! They invited us to their studio and wanted to know all about our story! They also shared that they are selective about who they work with because 1. they like to make sure they have good chemistry with the couples and 2. they intentionally limit their bookings each year so that they can truly devote the most amount of time to shoot, retouch and ensure the final product is the best it can be! As a designer myself, I truly appreciated both this transparency as well as this philosophy. Ben and Ashley were so fun and easy to talk with that during that meeting we decided we were not only going to hire them for our wedding, but also for our engagement photo session! When the first round of photos (from both the engagement and wedding) were ready, Deibert Photography unveils them one by one in their Instagram stories and eventually on their blog. This was a super fun way for us to be introduced to the photos and it also allowed us an easy way to share them with friends and family. Speaking of sharing our photos, we loved our engagement session so much that we were able to incorporate the photos into the design of our invitations and we’ve received countless compliments of our them! During our wedding and reception, Ben & Ashley split up and were in just the right places to capture everyone’s emotions. For posed photos, they quickly got everyone in place. In short, they are just great and we would, and do, highly recommend them for your engagement and wedding photos!

From our first Skype call to “meet” each other we had a great vibe with them. They just seemed like our friends who should be at the wedding, let alone taking photos for us. Not to mention the fact that they were extremely organized from the very beginning which also made us feel at ease. From the moment we said “go” they were great with all of the prep leading up to our big day. Always communicating with us and sharing suggestions - and even helping us with some pointers when working with other vendors or just general wedding details. On the day of they joined the party seamlessly. Helping to ease our nerves as we got ready. Dealing with a groomsman or two who “took a photography class once” And even dealing with a park ranger (?) who didn’t understand their own permits (which we luckily had). They helped us catch all of the Philly moments we wanted (historic buildings and feels, Broad Street and even some fun eagles and soft pretzel infused moments). At the ceremony and reception, they caught so many great photos - candids of us, our families and friends - while blending in with the party and all of the fun. We also loved seeing our photos popping up on Instagram and the awesome blog they put together. I was concerned that they photos would look too dark or too washed out with a flash, but neither was the case. What we found in Benjamin Deibert Photography is RARE. A team of driven professionals who are also fun people you'd gladly hang out with. We met with a few photographers who had good pictures and seemed super nice, but we clicked with Ben and Ashley on the first visit. Wedding photography is an exhausting job with long hours and high expectations. Ben and Ashley exceeded our expectations in every way. They had great energy all day and got every shot we asked for. We'll be sad to pick up our wedding album from them because it means we probably wont see them again for a while! Other things to note about Benjamin Deibert Photography: - Almost immediately provide you a blog with a few pictures of your shoot (we did engagement photos with them too). This is a great way to tide you over until the full set arrives. - Great candid photos of you and your loved ones. - My dad noticed how the pictures were so great, but you never felt like they are in your face or in your way as we've found at other weddings. - They know you aren't models and give just enough feedback so you don't look a mess but not so much that you're stuck in your head or feeling self-conscious - They're always professional and prepared - They are quick to respond and give really useful feedback
