I booked Deidra Photo for my parents' surprise fiftieth anniversary vow renewal at the classic Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas! My parents were so impressed with their photographer, Brandi's, kindness and resourcefulness. They had no idea what they wanted photo-wise, plus I was not in attendance and hadn't given any meaningful guidance as to desired shots. Brandi guided my parents through a variety of locations and poses to create a visually well-rounded gallery that was equal parts sweet and irreverent, and really true to them as people. I am so impressed with the level of skill, both technical and interpersonal, that it took to do all this at the same time. From my perspective (as the one doing the booking), I found Deidra to be an incredibly warm person and a professional, dedicated business owner. I found out that my parents would be in Vegas just a few weeks in advance of their trip, and started trying to make the surprise vow renewal happen as an anniversary gift. Given the time of year and lack of notice, I was shocked to receive a prompt response to my booking inquiry, and even more so that she was able to send someone. She was in touch with me throughout the process, was mindful of the fact that it was a surprise and helped coordinate contact between my Dad and the photographer at exactly the right time. Last but not least, she personally edited the gallery within ten days of the shoot, which is unheard of. My biggest fear about the session was that my parents wouldn't be comfortable in front of the camera and/or might hate every picture of themselves. (My Dad is very shy, and my Mom can be very self-critical.) When I talked to them after the session, I could tell they had fun and really connected with their photographer, so I was relieved already. And when I received the final gallery from Deidra ten days later, I was just floored. My Dad looked directly into the camera for many of them with something approaching swagger (?!), and my Mom's immediate reaction to the gallery was, "I didn't know we were this cute!" We will cherish these photos forever and could not be happier with the experience, start to finish.

My partner and I decided to have a surprise, whirlwind elopement to Las Vegas from Australia. Because we would have no loved ones with us, we decided that investing in excellent photos was a priority, and once I found Deidra I knew I wanted to lock her in straight away. We were drawn to the style of Deidra’s images and, most importantly, that each of her couples looks at ease and like they were having the time of their lives (or were just plain rock’n’roll cool). We really appreciated the range of options that catered for intimate elopements, and more importantly, even though we were a “small” client, we truly felt like we were her only priority. The consultation process was excellent, particularly given the fact that we are in different hemispheres. We talked in general terms about the kind of things we were looking for, but ultimately, left it with Deidra. She is the professional! Our time with Deidra was like being with an old friend, and we had such a great time - no nerves or awkwardness. That is critical for such an important day, and in our case, such an intimate elopement. The post-ceremony service was also fantastic with a speedy turn around for the final images even during a peak wedding period. The pictures themselves capture the joyful experience we had and we got way more pictures than we thought possible. It speaks volumes for Deidra’s ability to shoot fast and shoot well. I enthusiastically recommend Deidra to capture your special occasion. You won’t regret it.

Deidra is absolutely amazing and we would give her 10 stars if we could! She is professional, caring, and SO MUCH FUN! We booked Deidra for our wedding ceremony in downtown Las Vegas at The Smith Center and then took photos afterwards in the Arts District, followed by The Neon Museum. We (and our family) came in from Texas so we only met Deidra the day of… and it still felt so natural, just like meeting up with an old friend. She is so great at making you feel relaxed and creating such a fun and comfortable atmosphere. I can't imagine going with anyone else for our special day. Deidra was amazing and helpful from our first email communication to even after our wedding, giving us updates on the status of our photos along the way. We received all of our photos within 1 week (about 6 days ago) and I am still geeking out over the quality and how beautiful they all came out! Our family and friends have been talking nonstop about how great they are, too! She is truly talented and you can tell she really enjoys what she does. Thank you, Deidra, for being such a huge part of our day, for capturing everything we had hoped for and more, and just your general awesomeness!! We look forward to coming back to Vegas and booking you again in the future!
