About a month out my original reception venue had to cancel due to short staffing brought on by Covid. I searched all over trying to find a new venue that would accommodate my need for catering and decorations on short notice. I was relieved to find out our local casino had their ball room available on our wedding day! We worked with Joel who took on the roll as our wedding planner, he was the best! He took care of everything for me; reception set-up, decorations, dinner, bar, room booking, contacting other venders… we were so impressed at the resources he had available. I don’t think we would have gotten this kind of service anyplace else less then a month out from our date! He and his staff were so accommodating it was unbelievable. Catering was through the casino, the food was amazing! We had a buffet style dinner for 62 people, assortment of appetizers, dessert display, and open bar. Everyone commented on how good the food was and how much they loved the variety. We were truly impressed! Ivory, the kitchen staff, and serving staff were kind and professional, all their displays looked wonderful and tasted great. The hotel staff were also so kind and assisted me with billing questions, room assignments and some of my personal needs. We had a pleasant stay in our clean and spacious room! Their housekeeping personnel also helped me locate one of my guest’s missing rings, truly outstanding!! Joe had also set me up with Lisa who manages the casino’s spa so my wedding party and I could get our hair done the morning of. We had such a pleasant time, we’re truly taken care of!
