We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than the Delamar Mystic. We were initially drawn to it for its stunning waterfront location in beautiful Mystic, but the hotel itself completely won us over - it has such classic charm without feeling overly nautical. From start to finish, the staff was truly exceptional. They brought our vision to life in every way, and the entire weekend felt seamless and so thoughtfully executed. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and our guests are still raving about how incredible the food and service were. A special thank you to Brian, who was our main point of contact throughout the planning process. I truly can't say enough great things about him - he was kind, patient, and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. At one point during cocktail hour, he even personally brought me a plate of food to make sure I had a chance to eat! We would highly recommend Delamar Mystic to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-run, and unforgettable wedding experience. We're already looking forward to coming back to celebrate anniversaries here for years to come.

We had our rehearsal dinner at the Delamar in November 2025. From beginning planning to the day of it was truly a nightmare. All of the sales staff is completely disjointed and has...

the worst communication. I would not get a response for weeks and with multiple follow up emails and calls. We also had a room block at the hotel which proved to be a separate issue and headache in planning. Day of the rehearsal, our event was supposed to begin at 5pm, and they were not done setting up until 5:30. Overall, very dissatisfied with our experience. This was just a 25 person event and I felt they could not even manage it appropriately.

was still under construction, so we naturally had some anxiety as we waited for it to open—but the Delamar team went above and beyond to ease our concerns at every turn. From the earliest stages of planning through our entire wedding weekend, they offered constant support and care, turning what is often a stressful process into something that felt seamless. They listened closely, honored our vision, and put so much care into every detail. They fulfilled all of our (many) requests with a smile and were simply a joy to work with. The end result was even better than we had imagined, and we would wholeheartedly recommend the Delamar to anyone.
