Danette was a pleasure to work with, from organizing a cake tasting to answering emails, phone calls, working with our Wedding Coordinator, executing our vision into a beautiful decorated cake, cupcakes and assorted treats. Delectables By Danette is AMAZING!!! Danette was recommended to us by a friend when we were looking for a baker to make our wedding cake for us. We went to our cake tasting with Danette and were WOWed with every flavor she gave us to try. Her baking is outstanding!! We chose to get a lemon cake for our wedding cake and vanilla/chocolate cupcakes for our wedding guests. Danette was great with the planning process. She added gold edible pieces to our wedding cake that matched our wedding invitations and she made two different designs for the frosting on the cupcakes. Danette was even nice enough to meet us early the morning of our wedding before she opened so we could pick up the cake and cupcakes. If I could give Danette 20 stars I would. She has gained two lifelong customers and we will always choose Delectables By Danette for any of our future events!

Danette is professional, fun, dependable and her cake tastes as good as at looks. I did not have to worry about anything cake related, she had it all under control. The tasting to decide which cake is so much fun and all the cake options are delicious! I ordered the vanilla cake with the strawberry champagne filling which was decadent! My guests raved about the cake! I gave Danette all the control as far as decorating, I knew I wanted a naked cake with flowers, but left the artistic decisions to her and it was stunning! I can't wait to go back and order my anniversary cake!

Danette is an amazing baker! Her cake and cupcakes were so good. Both were moist, had the best flavor, and the icing was great! We had so many comments on how good they were. I highly recommend using her. It was fun doing the tasting to see which flavors we wanted. We went with, almond, funfetti, and chocolate for cupcakes, and coconut for cake. On our wedding day she took care of everything! The display was beautiful. You will not be disappointed.

Danette was an exceptional partner in making our cake vision come to life for a fairytale wedding in the white mountains! She baked and decorated a delicious three tiered cake (two different flavors)! It was moist, packed with flavor and gorgeous. She listened to our vision and executed with excellence. Everyone enjoyed the cake and loved the beautiful flowers to decorate it. We’d highly recommend her; she was a delight to work with and talented!

Delectables by Danette was the best tasting and most reasonably priced bakery of several that we tried throughout NH. It's a bonus that Danette is a happy and friendly person who seems to genuinely love making brides happy! What's more, Danette has relationships with area vendors already so I didn't have to do anything the day of the wedding - she coordinated directly with my venue (Wentworth Inn) and florist (Dutch Bloemen Winkle) for delivery, setup and floral decoration. Our guests loved our cake and so did we!

I don't know if I can possibly say enough about the incredible experience we had with Danette. To begin I should explain that we reached out to 5 bakeries for our wedding. Danette was the only one who was actually excited to work with us, everyone else just treated us like "yet another cake". When we first spoke, I had very specific requirements as I really don't care for American Buttercream Frosting. I asked that if we couldn't do a mascarpone, that we did an Italian Frosting. Danette was very sweet, and explained that while these are amazing frostings, they would probably wilt at my wedding because we got married in August. She helped me understand why and didn't just say " I only do American Buttercream" which we had heard from others. Leading up to the wedding, she was always in touch with us, making sure I hadn't changed my mind on flavors or styles. She was ALWAYS overjoyed to hear about plans for our wedding, and really made us feel so special. Now lets get to the CAKES!!! We did four flavors, a 6 and 9" cutting cake ofVanilla with Raspberry, and three 12" kitchen cakes of Lemon with Lemon Curd, White with Strawberry Champagne, and White with Black Raspberry. Each cake was exquisite. The flavors and textures were immaculate and of 4 large cakes, we only went home with a small amount of cake, our guests devoured it in minutes of cutting. Danette even came to visit me while I was getting ready to wish me off, and I was so grateful for all of the time and effort she put in. Danette was the most professional, personable, and hardworking person and I am so glad we found her.

From the first phone conversation, Danette made us feel like we had known her for years. She considered every detail for our October 2022 wedding- this review is way overdue! We did cupcakes and a cutting cake and we are so excited to experience the cake again soon on our 1 year anniversary. My husband and I had some frustrating experiences with our other vendors- everything from my beauty team partially cancelling the night before my wedding to still having not received our wedding video after 10 months 🙄. Despite all the headaches we still look back and remember how amazing Danette was and will recommend her to all friends and family getting married up in NH.

We loved working with Danette - from the moment we met her at the cake tasting to seeing her dropping off the cake and cupcakes on our big day! She has a real passion for her work and always left smiles on our faces. She suggested using the pressed flowers on our cutting cake which I absolutely loved! It turned out so beautiful and really matched the look of our garden party themed day. And everything was absolutely delish! For the cake we did devils food chocolate and for the cupcakes half devils food and half almond. We got tons of compliments on the cupcakes! Can’t wait to visit Danette’s shop again the next time we’re in town to relive our wedding cake experience!

Danette was so fun to work with! We used her for our wedding and the desserts were delicious! We did 3 different flavors of cupcakes and a small cake for bride&groom and Omg that chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache filling I’m still dreaming of. I would give her 6/5 stars if I could!

Danette was great! From the service, to the look and taste of the cake. She had us come in and have a tasting. She helped us roughly figure out what we wanted, and then showed us different cake styles. And there is was, our wedding cake! The different flavors were spectacular also. Everything about our experience with Danette was perfect from start to finish. She is so friendly and helpful that she made the whole experience a breeze. We had a fun, stress free time at our tasting and we knew from that moment that we had no doubt that we picked the right person. Our cake looked perfect and even more importantly, tasted amazing. We are still receiving compliments from friends and family on our cake a week and a half later. During what can be a very stressful time and experience, Danette had me feeling at ease and I would recommend her to anyone!

Delicious! We had so much fun at our tasting. Everything tasted so good we had a hard time deciding. It was one of the more difficult decisions we made about our wedding because we wanted every cupcake combination! We chose our favorites, and everything came out perfectly. Danette exceeded our expectations. We had over 120 cupcakes, and they were all fresh and presented beautifully.

Oh my god…words can not describe how amazing our wedding cake was. We ordered a cascading flower design that was absolutely stunning. Not only did it look amazing but, it tasted amazing. Danette did a fantastic job. Danette makes your wedding day stress free when I comes to your cake. She handles everything with the venue (and florist if you need real flowers) so you don’t have to! Can’t wait to come back to order another cake for our 1st wedding anniversary. Thank you Danette!

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Danette and her cake was. From the first contact all the way up to the wedding and after, Danette went over and beyond! Danette went out of her way to buy more flowers for my cake when the florist did not provide enough to create the look I wanted. She was in constant contact with me the weekend of my wedding to make sure everything went as planned. The cake was stunning and delicious, but working with Danette was truly the icing on the cake! Danette had made some cupcakes and a cake for our wedding over at The Jackson Inn. We were excited to be able to use a local vendor for this and she was even able to suggest a florist (shout out Dutch Bloemen Winkel). Danette was one of the most friendly people I've met through my journeys and was quick to be able to get us in for a tasting. We settled on the lemon and chocolate cupcakes and a beautiful cake for just the two of us. My friends and family raved about the cupcakes and when I saw one eating one, I asked him how it was to which he responded "this is my fourth one." I am not even sure that I have ever even seen him eat lunch, so a glowing review. I would absolutely recommend Danette to anyone.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Danette was through the entire planning process from the tasting to the day of set up. We ordered a small cake for ourselves and cupcakes for our guests and everything tasted incredible! Our cake was beautiful and delicious as well as the cupcakes which were a huge hit. Danette was personable and so nice to make sure we didn't have to worry about anything the day of. Danette even called a couple of days after the wedding to congratulate us and to make sure we enjoyed her cakes. We are SO happy that we used Danette for our wedding cake!! We decided last minute that we wanted a cake, and reached out only 1 month before the wedding. Danette was SO responsive and able to do the cake on a short notice. The tasting was so much fun! She made cupcakes in different flavors and had an assortment of filling options to mix and match and see what we liked best. She was so sweet and took care of every detail so we didn't have to worry at all the weekend of the wedding. She really cares about her wedding couples and it shows! The final cake was STUNNING and so delicious! Everyone is still raving about it. We truly can't recommend her enough, and are so excited to stop by her bakery for treats for years to come :)

I literally cannot say enough good things about Danette and her cakes! I decided to order 3 eight inch cakes for our wedding from her without tasting anything or talking with her before the day we placed our order and I am so glad I took the chance. Danette is absolutely lovely and her cakes are beyond delicious and beautiful. The carrot cake was particularly mind blowing! 100% recommend!!!
