We loved this venue for our October wedding, just as the leaves were turning yellow, but it was still lovely to be outside for our ceremony. The "hill" ceremony site has fantastic ...
views of the mountains, and we set up some yard games for cocktail hour beside the pond down below. Liz was a very professional and quick communicator, going above and beyond to help us provide video for our hesitant transportation vendor. The wines are high quality, and the indoor reception space felt like a high-ceilinged fairyland. The numerous windows on both sides of the reception space would have worked well if rain had moved our ceremony indoors.
We had to replan our wedding for three different dates due to Covid, and Delfosse was willing to work with us through it all! We finally had our wedding this November, and it was w...
orth the wait. The vineyard in the fall is breathtaking, and guests commented on how beautiful everything was all night. We ended up having our ceremony in the "meadow" instead of at the top of the hill, but the fountain behind the altar made for an incredible backdrop. The tasting room was great for a chilly cocktail hour, and the event barn was perfect for dinner and dancing. I'm so glad we got to spend our wedding at Delfosse!
My best friends and husband planned an afternoon at the Historic 1870s Log Cabin on the property of Delfosse Vineyards and Winery to celebrate my 30th birthday and the completion o...
f my master's degree program. It was held on the wrap-around porch and patio area, complete with an outdoor wooden rustic bar, which was perfect for serving wine and for setting up a mimosa bar - essential for any event! Delfosse's sparkling wine, Joie de Vivre, was splendid to toast with. I LOVED all of their wines that were selected to be served - Hippie Chick, Grand Cru Reserve, Rose, Viognier, and Grinning Fox. I honestly can't pick a favorite because they were all amazing! The owners, Mike and Adrienne, treated my guests and I like family and were so accommodating, checking in to make sure that I had the best celebration and Delfosse experience. The sweeping views of the European-style terraced vineyards and Blue Ridge mountains were an added bonus, the most gorgeous backdrop to my event. I highly recommend anyone hosting a private event or looking for a wedding venue - look no further, visit Delfosse right now! Come see these spectacular views for yourself and drink their amazing wine, no wonder they are award-winning. I promise you won't be disappointed!
Living out of state, we were a bit hesitant to pick a venue we’d never seen in person. We had family visit DelFosse on our behalf and decided to go ahead with reserving a date. We ...
were thrilled when, four months later, we visited DelFosse in person. It is a beautiful venue, with lots of picturesque outdoor spaces, a large reception space (newly finished, not long before our wedding), and multiple indoor alternative options in case of rain.
Most of our coordination was done through Liz, while she was still around, and working with her was a joy. She was eager to make things as special for us as possible and very helpful in answering all our questions and helping us decide on what details we might care about. She knew just what we needed, with regards to the venue, and made coordinating our wedding much easier.
Our May wedding was delayed due to COVID-19, but our September date turned out very well. DelFosse was great about addressing all our spacing concerns, wearing masks, keeping all the doors open in the reception hall, and even catering to a few guests who preferred to sit outside (though the servers did forget to give one of them a salad).
Additionally, the in-house catering was really easy to figure out and was extremely tasty. It’s probably a little pricier than some alternatives in the area, but it was high quality food and it was extremely easy to arrange everything. We did have some issues with the wait staff, who started packing up the bar early (something like two hours before the scheduled end of the reception!) and removed full wine glasses while guests were away from their tables. Mike apologized to us the day after when we mentioned it and agreed that it shouldn’t have happened and said he’d look into the issue.
All in all, an amazingly beautiful venue with great food. Our pictures are simply gorgeous and we had a lovely time. Definitely looking forward to visiting again in the future (maybe even for a vow renewal some day, so our missing guests can experience it)!
We got married at Delfosse Vineyard and Winery on 10.10.20. Even amid a global pandemic, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams - all because of the amazing staff at Delfos...
se. One of the main reasons we decided to check out Delfosse was due to it being in Faber, VA (My husband - and now my - last name is Faber) and of course, our love for wine! The moment we left the venue, we were sold and had no doubt that this would be where we became husband and wife. Adrian and Jena are the nicest and the most hardworking venue coordinators and will answer any of your questions and help plan out your dream day. The owners, Michael and Adrienne, are also very active in your wedding day too - making sure everything is perfect. It ended up raining on our wedding day, and the forecast kept changing - making planning whether to move the wedding inside or keep it outside a little tricky. 30 minutes before our wedding was due to start, we made the decision to move it inside. The wedding started on time and was absolutely breathtaking. There are so many other things I could say about this venue, but the last thing I will say is the convenience of having the option of renting either (or both) the farmhouse and log cabin that they have on the property. The whole bridal party stayed in the farmhouse the night before and the night of the wedding, which made it super convenient to get to and from the site, plus provided some great photos on what turned out to be a rainy wedding day.

visioned - we could tell they legitimately cared about what we wanted to do and were happy to work with us. The people at Delfosse really solidified our decision to get married there - everybody from owners to staff were so welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout the process, and we love the fact that even after the wedding we look forward to visiting for some delicious wine and laid back atmosphere. The wedding day itself was incredible, we received so many compliments from our family and friends about the beautiful ceremony at the top of the hill with a view of the rolling vineyards, the cocktail hour by the pond and finally dinner and lots of dancing in the new venue - not to mention the amazing wine and food. We rented the log cabin and Farmhouse for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to get ready in, which made for a fun pre-wedding experience with our closest friends. We really loved the personal feeling of Delfosse above anything else, it is not a cookie-cutter wedding venue that just cranks out weddings for a profit - you can tell they legitimately care about you having a great experience all around. The owners Adrienne and Mike and their staff spent hours with us to either discuss wedding logisitcs or just get to know us, which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend Delfosse for your wedding, and if anything just stopping in for a bottle of wine!

y listened to our vision then came up with great ideas and a lot of helpful suggestions to make it all happen. We really felt like everyone on the staff cared about our event and they went above and beyond for us. The ceremony site on the mountain, surrounded by vineyards is absolutely breath-taking. We love great wine and were so happy to be able to book this vineyard as the site for our wedding and reception. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food (Delfosse catered our dinner) and the wine. Everything was delicious and beautifully served.
Our May 2019 wedding at Delfosse Vineyards & Winery was even better than we imagined it would be! We looked at a lot of venues that were very pretty, too, but they crank out 3 wedd...
ings in a weekend, so there is almost zero flexibility and we were concerned about feeling rushed. Delfosse only does 1 wedding a weekend, so you will be THE focus, not 1 of 3. This attention to detail and personal approach carried throughout our wedding planning and the Delfosse team was incredibly responsive and incredibly helpful. They made fantastic recommendations all along the way that really helped us A LOT, including connecting us with an amazing day of coordinator and florist we LOVED. They really made us feel special and valued. We are already making plans to go back and stay at the log cabin for our 1 year anniversary.
Really great experience. And I have to hand it to DelFosse - They made the entire celebration seamless, which made it a lot easier on us. We actually got to enjoy our wedding!

staff was friendly and on top of all the little details so that our guests (150 showed up) had a truly wonderful time. Scenery was beautiful and the vineyard was an awesome setting. And the wine was great too.

ar and away, the most dramatic views and natural beauty. We loved having on-site lodging and the charming farmhouse was a perfect place for our wedding party. We used their in house catering service, which was fantastic plus it was super convenient and very cost effective.
We loved this setting — stunning — but were a bit hesitant to go outside a hotel or country club venue. So glad we did. If everything was not perfect, we certainly didn’t notice. ...
The staff was friendly and attentive from the planning stage forward, the food and wine delicious, and the banquet team and chef made us feel like they were personally invested in our day. Just a wonderful experience all in all. Thank you Delfosse!
After touring a number of other wineries and wedding venues in the area, none of which had quite the right fit for us, we came upon DelFosse, and I will never forget the feeling I ...
got when driving into the property for the first time... the warm fuzzy excited feeling that THIS MUST BE THE PLACE! DelFosse is a hidden gem, off the beaten path, and it is such a gorgeous place with amazing wine. When I met the owners, that feeling was solidified! Working with Adrienne and Mike in our wedding planning was seriously a dream. Adrienne went above and beyond in every way possible to make sure our wedding was perfect, and it truly was. Incredible wine, amazing food, warm, friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed at the log cabin and woke up and sipped coffee on the porch - a heavenly way to spend our first morning as husband and wife! We cannot recommend this place enough! Our guests cannot stop raving about the beauty of DelFosse, and the awesome food and wine. We can't wait to go back for a visit!

ws anywhere. Two words: Dream Venue.
We went for the in-house catering and it was exceptional. No one could believe how delicious and well-presented everything was. It was also a deal. Weddings are expensive all around, but they did really offer a lot more for the money than other places we checked out.
Most important thing, though, the staff. From the owners to the tasting room to the event staff, everyone was so conscientious, caring and a ton of attention to detail. We can't thank them enough for being there every step of the way for us.

n - - everything was so well done. The food and the wine at Delfosse are as outstanding as the views, which is saying a lot!
The most important thing was the comfort level we felt throughout the year long planning process because of the attentive, responsive staff.
The Day of coordination was exceptional and I was so glad we decided to treat ourselves to that. The Log Cabin is absolutely magical! We also rented the cute, little farmhouse on the property and that ended up being a lifesaver. Between the unbelievably gorgeous setting, the great food and wine, and the amazing staff, our day was absolutely perfect.

man beings. Additionally they include so many things in the price of the venue that it’s less about the nickel and diming and more about the experience. The food was incredible and all of our guests said it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Highly highly recommend!!! Oh and bonus: it’s one of the most beautiful places to get married in Virginia.

e value compared to neighboring vineyards) but in the end we just made a very emotional decision based on the feeling we got at the mountainside ceremony site overlooking the vineyards. Our wedding day was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be and then some! The Delfosse staff is organized, caring and competent and they really took such great care of us. Chef John outdid himself with our menu and our guests are still talking about how great the food was. We couldn't have asked for more and we really want to thank the Delfosse staff for going above and beyond for us.

All of our guests were blown away by this hidden gem. I would recommend this venue without question - especially for a fall wedding!

t the landscape is elaborate and speaks for itself. The location is also versatile with options of spaces for you to get ready and have a cocktail hour.
Adrienne and Mike are the couple that run the show. They are amazing! Very organized and truly invest in making your wedding the day of your dreams. They have their own catering service and the food was top notch. We were able to go ahead of time and do a tasting. The menu has many options, but they will cater anything for you even if not on the featured menu. They also offer day of coordination for an additional fee. Anything else you need, they are happy to help you find.
We really enjoyed the planning process and our special day at DelFosse!

in and had our elopement just ourselves and "best dog" on a misty Monday morning! We felt so blessed to have booked our wedding at Delfosse Vineyard as the setting was perfect for having our dog in the ceremony, and was absolutely beautiful. We also appreciate good wine, and Delfosse's wine did not disappoint. We will be wine club members from here on forward, a wedding gift to ourselves! We will return to stay at the cabin and to enjoy the tranquil beauty of Delfosse, a place that allows one to slow down, appreciate and reset. What a special place!

y, accessible non-portable bathrooms, covered reception, and just beautiful scenery. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was able to email Yvette (who acted as my coordinator along with being their event manager) anytime and she would response quickly and with answers. Other staff were always very quick to say hello and see what help we needed during our planning trips. The overnight stay at the cabin was a fantastic addition to an already lovely venue. My husband and I still go back every few months and are greeted with the same enthusiasm as when we were planning our big day. It was absolutely my perfect venue!

nd perfect for the type of wedding we wanted. Yvette gave me great suggestions on vendors and responded very quickly to my emails and all of the questions I had. The staff was great! They also have a great cabin to use. My bridesmaids and I stayed there on Friday night, we had our cocktails and hors d'vours on the wrap around porch, and my husband and I stayed their the night of the wedding. Such a great place to wake up to and sip coffee, watching the fog lift on the vineyards. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to have a winery wedding... oh, and their wines are some of the best in Virginia!
We are long time fans of DelFosse wine and our 9/25 wedding at the top of the hill, followed by cocktail hour at the cabin and reception down on the plaza was absolutely beautiful ...
and perfect. And we had delicious wine!
