Cake was good, and people were easy to work with. Only knocking a start off because the writing on the wedding cake unfortunately wasn’t the correct message we emailed over.

OMG. The cakes were delicious and the designs were exactly what we asked for. They were VERY accommodating and reasonably priced. The best tasting cakes in the DFW area. Thanks for making our vow renewal reception such a successful and memorable experience. Our guest were raving over the cakes.

They’re not named “Delicious Cakes” for no reason! We were able to do a tasting and pair together our favorite cakes and fillings for our wedding. We ended up going with three different variations and everyone thought they were delicious! The cake was stunning as well and everything I hoped it would look like. Highly recommend!!!

From start to finish, Butch and his entire team were amazing. The tasting was made interactive and fun. The creativity was beyond anything we anticipated. Both expectations and communication were perfect. Our planner suggested that we purchased too much cake, but in the end, there was nothing left! It was THAT delicious! We also like that rather than saving the topper in the freezer for a year, Butch let us know that on our one-year anniversary, he and his team bake us a fresh topper at no charge. What a wonderful experience. I cannot thank Delicious Cakes enough for their spectacular work!

We ordered our wedding cake from Delicious Cakes. We went through our wedding tasting which allowed us to order the cake, icing, number of tiers, etc. to our preference and the pricing was decent too. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered on time without any issues. The cake was delicious and our guests really enjoyed eating the cake during our reception. I highly recommend anyone to order their wedding cake from Delicious Cakes.

The ONLY reason I am giving a 2 star review is for the simple fact that we at LEAST had a cake. Unfortunately, the cake was delivered a mere hour before the wedding started by very rude delivery men who unapologetically said "We couldn't help that we had a lot of deliveries to make", then they dropped off the cake without putting the flowers or the cake topper on as promised even though both were left on the cake table for them. The wedding ceremony had to start late because the wedding coordinator had to fumble through putting the flowers and topper on, then to make it worse the cake started to crumble (probably due to being in the hot delivery van too long) so we had to get some tooth picks from the bartender to keep the cake together. If you think it couldn't get worse...it did! The cakes (both wedding cake and grooms cake) were NOT the flavors that we picked out!!! It was a travesty from the beginning. Unforgivable.

Our go to place for cakes! Called Delicious Cakes for a reason. Wedding cake came out amazing and none of it was left at the end of the night.

It was a pleasure working with the staff at Delicious Cakes. They were friendly, professional, and very helpful. I will refer them to others and will use them again if the opportunity presents itself.

Where do I begin?! Delicious Cakes is exactly what you’re looking for from the moment you step into your cake testing to the moment you have your special day! The first time we ordered a cake from here it was a recommendation from the venue (Addison Event Center) for my grandparent’s 50th anniversary! They loved having some family members helping them taste cake and help pick out the flavors with them! Fast forward to the day of and it was a stunning cake exactly what my grandma wanted and everyone complemented the taste! They made such an impact, that when I chose to get married in Texas, I had to have them make my cake as well! My wedding planner had her own list of cake vendors she wanted me to try and I found that they were all more expensive and some just gave us a to go box with some cupcakes in it to try at home after charging a steep fee for the “tasting kit.” It wasn’t at all the experience I recalled having with Delicious Cakes…. In the end I stuck to my gut and went back to Delicious Cakes and there I felt so special, truly like a bride, not just someone checking something off the to-do list. I recommend them to all friends, family, and strangers looking for cake in the Dallas area! We dropped off a few decorations we were using for centerpieces and arrangements a few days earlier and they incorporated them into our cake to really tie the whole wedding together! 10/10 recommend!!!

Delicious cake was a vendor we had to book last minute because of a cancellation and it was a great decision. Butch was easy to work with, he stayed within our budget and made our vision come to life. It was delivered on time and our guests loved all three flavors (turtle, strawberry with Bavarian and vanilla with raspberry).

Delicious Cakes were great to work with for our wedding and the cakes were amazing (both the design and the flavor)! Their cake sampler box was great for helping to pick out our flavors and icing beforehand too.

I had a great experience with Delicious Cakes. I went in with a friend for a tasting where I was able to try a lot of flavors and icings. The cake was so moist and delicious. The ordering process was smooth. It was delivered to my wedding venue with no issues which I had to chance the location due to Covid restrictions and they were so accommodating. It also looked exactly like the inspiration photo I gave them. 10/10 recommend!

Delicious cakes did a great job with our wedding cake! We had 2 flavors—princess (white cake) and strawberry. The strawberry was SO fantastic…there were no leftovers!! We also had them make cake pops for us which several guests raved about. Incredibly pleased and thrilled with Delicious Cakes and so happy we picked them for our wedding!!

I was so happy with the affordability of my cake. I went and tried a boutique that was referred to me. The cake didn't even touch Delicious Cakes of Addison when it came to taste! We enjoyed out cake tasting with out kids and everything was absolutely delicious. I was so glad that we decided to go with Delicious Cakes. When I had questions close to the wedding, Delicious Cakes was responsive and helpful. I would recommend Delicious Cakes over anyone else for their price, customer service, and absolutely tasty cakes!

Best cake around!!! We tried 10+ bakeries and Declious Cakes by far was the best! Their frosting cannot be beat! They are affordable and communicated very well!

y love my design cake, it was more than I expected., the calcite was delicious; my guesses were so happy whit the flavor. and the groom cake was a very good to share next day whit the family an we have enough to save some for the next few days and never get dried out untested.

Our cake was PERFECT. It was delicious, moist, fresh, and beautifully assembled - exactly what we'd requested. I would 100% recommend Delicious Cakes to any upcoming wedding couples! I even went back and got a retirement cake made for a coworker and it was fantastic! Definitely my go to bakery for special cakes!!

OMG! The cupcakes were a hit, my cake was amazing. Unfortunately me and my husband didn't get a cupcake at the wedding and one of the flavors were gone completely. we had four flavors for our cupcakes: spice, carrot, cassata, strawberry with strawberry filling. All of the strawberry cupcakes were GONE even before the reception ended. We didn't get a one, but we have our cake in the freezer for our one year and it is the spice flavor. The presentation of the cupcakes were great and they were so flexible when it came down to payment. I would use them again if they are so far away cause they have good flavors.

They did everything we asked for. The cake was simple and elegant. It was also very good! Have had them multiple times before, they always deliver.

My wife and I used Delicious Cakes for our wedding cake and cupcakes. The team provided us a sample box of cake, frosting and cupcake filling to try at home. After our at home tasting (this was provided due to the pandemic so we could safely sample flavors) was complete, we had a video meeting with Butch to go over what we liked and our vision for our cake and cupcakes. The process was easy and no pressure to book our date up front. Delicious Cakes was the only bakery we sampled and due to service and product we booked them once we set a date. We had a 2 tiered "naked" cake and 3 different flavors of cupcakes. Delicious Cakes also worked with us to determine the appropriate number of cupcakes to order for our guest count and adjusted as needed once we received a final guest count. We also did not run into any issues or discrimination being a same sex couple. Staff members were professional and provided excellent service. We are extremely satisfied with the products and service from the team!

This baker is so great! Their selections of flavors and types of cakes is awesome. My husband and I were so thrilled with them after our cake tasting that we just had to have them as our wedding cake vendor! We paid half the amount for the cake at the time of booking and the remainder a month before and that was done with great ease. The main reason I rated 3/5 stars is due to there being some sort of miscommunication during the process. At the tasting, I had mentioned to Monica that we wanted a small 3 tiered cake and an arrangement of cupcakes as opposed to doing a 5 tiered cake since we didn't want to have that much cake after the wedding. My husband talked with the owner at the time of making the deposit and it was understood that the 3 tier with cupcakes is what we wanted and the deposit amount was adjusted due to that. The day of the wedding comes and I get a phone call from my wedding planner about the cake being delivered but it was only the 3 tiered cake and no cupcakes. My planner was able to resolve the issue (with screenshots of messages and invoice) and we got cupcakes that the bakery already had made as opposed to the ones we ordered which was fine to subsidize the cost but it was a bit off putting that even with making the clarification about the cake and cupcakes that it was not fully completed as expected/to order. Despite that though, the cake and cupcakes were delicious.

After a tasting at Delicious Cakes we knew we wanted our wedding cake from Delicious Cakes. The cake turned out exactly like our vision AND it was absolutely delicious! We will be using Delicious Cakes again for future events and parties!

Delicious Cakes did an AMAZING job! Not only was the cake delicious but it was absolutely stunning! Butch and his team are very communicative, and were awesome to work with! They were also so flexible and patient with me and my husband as we postponed our wedding due to Corona! I cannot recommend them enough!

We had cupcakes for guests and a small cake for us to cut. Everything was beautiful and delicious. They did a great job. Luckily our wedding coordinator stuck some cupcakes into our getaway car so we could enjoy them while reliving the amazing night. We had Mexican chocolate and the red velvet. Both were to die for! They made us a cake of our choice for our 1st anniversary, that we kept to ourselves and devoured. ;)

They were responsive, easy, and fun to work with. Butch, the owner, made some really special accommodations for us. He and his team made my husband’s favorite flavor (pineapple) as the filling for our cake even though it wasn’t a flavor they offered! From every step of the way- planning, tasting, execution, and delivery, it was perfect. We tried a bunch of cakes at different bakeries, but Delicious Cakes in Addison were truly the best. The cake turned out gorgeous, and Butch delivered it himself on our wedding day (on Sunday when they’re usually closed)! Can’t thank you enough- our guests loved it as much as we did.

We had a great time working with Butch on our wedding cake! The cake looked exactly how we had requested and tasted amazing. Delicious cakes delivered the cake on the day of our wedding and we didn't have worry about a thing! We would definitely recommend Delicious cakes for your upcoming wedding or event.

My wife and I hired Delicious Cakes for our wedding. The initial consult with Monica was effective. Monica and Bruce were very flexible and answered any and all questions that we had regarding the cakes. Through the taste testing we discovered a non traditional flavor (orange marmalade) that we loved. The cost was reasonable and well within our budget. There were no problems with the delivery and we received numerous compliments on the flavor and design of our cakes. At the end of the night there were only two slices of the cakes remaining. 10/10

Our cake tasted amazing and we got a lot of compliments on the actual cake, however, I asked for a semi naked cake and what I received was an almost entirely frosted cake with an icing design piped around the bottom of every tier. We were also never informed that they could do fake tiers, so make sure you ask about those! Would highly recommend for the way the cake tastes, but triple check the design as I've read many reviews with this same problem.

They are true to their name! Wonderfully delicious cakes! My wedding cake was beautiful! I love how they offer fake tiers and tall sheet cake that allowed me to get the 5 tier wedding cake of my dreams in my price range! We had a little miscommunication about the groom’s cake though. In our initial meeting, we requested chocolate shavings and chocolate covered strawberries on top. Apparently one of the pictures that our consultant attached as a reference had an Aggie emblem on it. The cake looked beautiful - unfortunately neither my husband or I attended there and it was on the actual cake. As soon as we noticed it, I asked my coordinator to remove it from the reception and all was good. I know the owner of Delicious Cakes talked with my coordinator about the mistake, but I would have appreciated a call from the owner too. It was a little embarrassing since my guests noticed the cake and my husband and I went to Baylor and TCU. Overall- I would still recommend this vendor. Both cakes were wonderful and my bride’s cake looked gorgeous.

I have to start by saying that every guest has asked us where we got our cakes from because they were the best wedding cake they've ever had. When we did our wedding cake tasting Delicious Cakes was the only one we needed because we both fell in love with the flavors. We are not over the top fancy cake people and knew that we wanted a simple naked cake with floral which they did to perfection. The grooms cake was also AMAZING, brownie, cheesecake, and chocolate chip (this will for sure be ordered for many events in the future.) Every cake was moist with the prefect amount of filling and icing.
