Our go to place for cakes! Called Delicious Cakes for a reason. Wedding cake came out amazing and none of it was left at the end of the night.

Makeesha and her staff helped us from the beginning with design and flavor choices and making sure we got the cakes of our dreams! She worked with us on design choices throughout the wedding planning and took great care to make sure it exceeded our expectations. We had a champagne cake with strawberry filling and red velvet with cream cheese- both were incredible!

Lives up to the name! Fabulous service and cake -- can't recommend enough!

Where do I begin?! Delicious Cakes is exactly what you’re looking for from the moment you step into your cake testing to the moment you have your special day! The first time we ordered a cake from here it was a recommendation from the venue (Addison Event Center) for my grandparent’s 50th anniversary! They loved having some family members helping them taste cake and help pick out the flavors with them! Fast forward to the day of and it was a stunning cake exactly what my grandma wanted and everyone complemented the taste! They made such an impact, that when I chose to get married in Texas, I had to have them make my cake as well! My wedding planner had her own list of cake vendors she wanted me to try and I found that they were all more expensive and some just gave us a to go box with some cupcakes in it to try at home after charging a steep fee for the “tasting kit.” It wasn’t at all the experience I recalled having with Delicious Cakes…. In the end I stuck to my gut and went back to Delicious Cakes and there I felt so special, truly like a bride, not just someone checking something off the to-do list. I recommend them to all friends, family, and strangers looking for cake in the Dallas area! We dropped off a few decorations we were using for centerpieces and arrangements a few days earlier and they incorporated them into our cake to really tie the whole wedding together! 10/10 recommend!!!

Delicious cake was a vendor we had to book last minute because of a cancellation and it was a great decision. Butch was easy to work with, he stayed within our budget and made our vision come to life. It was delivered on time and our guests loved all three flavors (turtle, strawberry with Bavarian and vanilla with raspberry).

Delicious Cakes were great to work with for our wedding and the cakes were amazing (both the design and the flavor)! Their cake sampler box was great for helping to pick out our flavors and icing beforehand too.

I had a great experience with Delicious Cakes. I went in with a friend for a tasting where I was able to try a lot of flavors and icings. The cake was so moist and delicious. The ordering process was smooth. It was delivered to my wedding venue with no issues which I had to chance the location due to Covid restrictions and they were so accommodating. It also looked exactly like the inspiration photo I gave them. 10/10 recommend!

Delicious cakes did a great job with our wedding cake! We had 2 flavors—princess (white cake) and strawberry. The strawberry was SO fantastic…there were no leftovers!! We also had them make cake pops for us which several guests raved about. Incredibly pleased and thrilled with Delicious Cakes and so happy we picked them for our wedding!!

I was so happy with the affordability of my cake. I went and tried a boutique that was referred to me. The cake didn't even touch Delicious Cakes of Addison when it came to taste! We enjoyed out cake tasting with out kids and everything was absolutely delicious. I was so glad that we decided to go with Delicious Cakes. When I had questions close to the wedding, Delicious Cakes was responsive and helpful. I would recommend Delicious Cakes over anyone else for their price, customer service, and absolutely tasty cakes!

Best cake around!!! We tried 10+ bakeries and Declious Cakes by far was the best! Their frosting cannot be beat! They are affordable and communicated very well!

y love my design cake, it was more than I expected., the calcite was delicious; my guesses were so happy whit the flavor. and the groom cake was a very good to share next day whit the family an we have enough to save some for the next few days and never get dried out untested.

Our cake was PERFECT. It was delicious, moist, fresh, and beautifully assembled - exactly what we'd requested. I would 100% recommend Delicious Cakes to any upcoming wedding couples! I even went back and got a retirement cake made for a coworker and it was fantastic! Definitely my go to bakery for special cakes!!

OMG! The cupcakes were a hit, my cake was amazing. Unfortunately me and my husband didn't get a cupcake at the wedding and one of the flavors were gone completely. we had four flavors for our cupcakes: spice, carrot, cassata, strawberry with strawberry filling. All of the strawberry cupcakes were GONE even before the reception ended. We didn't get a one, but we have our cake in the freezer for our one year and it is the spice flavor. The presentation of the cupcakes were great and they were so flexible when it came down to payment. I would use them again if they are so far away cause they have good flavors.

They did everything we asked for. The cake was simple and elegant. It was also very good! Have had them multiple times before, they always deliver.

My wife and I used Delicious Cakes for our wedding cake and cupcakes. The team provided us a sample box of cake, frosting and cupcake filling to try at home. After our at home tasting (this was provided due to the pandemic so we could safely sample flavors) was complete, we had a video meeting with Butch to go over what we liked and our vision for our cake and cupcakes. The process was easy and no pressure to book our date up front. Delicious Cakes was the only bakery we sampled and due to service and product we booked them once we set a date. We had a 2 tiered "naked" cake and 3 different flavors of cupcakes. Delicious Cakes also worked with us to determine the appropriate number of cupcakes to order for our guest count and adjusted as needed once we received a final guest count. We also did not run into any issues or discrimination being a same sex couple. Staff members were professional and provided excellent service. We are extremely satisfied with the products and service from the team!

This baker is so great! Their selections of flavors and types of cakes is awesome. My husband and I were so thrilled with them after our cake tasting that we just had to have them as our wedding cake vendor! We paid half the amount for the cake at the time of booking and the remainder a month before and that was done with great ease. The main reason I rated 3/5 stars is due to there being some sort of miscommunication during the process. At the tasting, I had mentioned to Monica that we wanted a small 3 tiered cake and an arrangement of cupcakes as opposed to doing a 5 tiered cake since we didn't want to have that much cake after the wedding. My husband talked with the owner at the time of making the deposit and it was understood that the 3 tier with cupcakes is what we wanted and the deposit amount was adjusted due to that. The day of the wedding comes and I get a phone call from my wedding planner about the cake being delivered but it was only the 3 tiered cake and no cupcakes. My planner was able to resolve the issue (with screenshots of messages and invoice) and we got cupcakes that the bakery already had made as opposed to the ones we ordered which was fine to subsidize the cost but it was a bit off putting that even with making the clarification about the cake and cupcakes that it was not fully completed as expected/to order. Despite that though, the cake and cupcakes were delicious.

After a tasting at Delicious Cakes we knew we wanted our wedding cake from Delicious Cakes. The cake turned out exactly like our vision AND it was absolutely delicious! We will be using Delicious Cakes again for future events and parties!

Delicious Cakes did an AMAZING job! Not only was the cake delicious but it was absolutely stunning! Butch and his team are very communicative, and were awesome to work with! They were also so flexible and patient with me and my husband as we postponed our wedding due to Corona! I cannot recommend them enough!

We had cupcakes for guests and a small cake for us to cut. Everything was beautiful and delicious. They did a great job. Luckily our wedding coordinator stuck some cupcakes into our getaway car so we could enjoy them while reliving the amazing night. We had Mexican chocolate and the red velvet. Both were to die for! They made us a cake of our choice for our 1st anniversary, that we kept to ourselves and devoured. ;)

They were responsive, easy, and fun to work with. Butch, the owner, made some really special accommodations for us. He and his team made my husband’s favorite flavor (pineapple) as the filling for our cake even though it wasn’t a flavor they offered! From every step of the way- planning, tasting, execution, and delivery, it was perfect. We tried a bunch of cakes at different bakeries, but Delicious Cakes in Addison were truly the best. The cake turned out gorgeous, and Butch delivered it himself on our wedding day (on Sunday when they’re usually closed)! Can’t thank you enough- our guests loved it as much as we did.

We had a great time working with Butch on our wedding cake! The cake looked exactly how we had requested and tasted amazing. Delicious cakes delivered the cake on the day of our wedding and we didn't have worry about a thing! We would definitely recommend Delicious cakes for your upcoming wedding or event.

My wife and I hired Delicious Cakes for our wedding. The initial consult with Monica was effective. Monica and Bruce were very flexible and answered any and all questions that we had regarding the cakes. Through the taste testing we discovered a non traditional flavor (orange marmalade) that we loved. The cost was reasonable and well within our budget. There were no problems with the delivery and we received numerous compliments on the flavor and design of our cakes. At the end of the night there were only two slices of the cakes remaining. 10/10

Our cake tasted amazing and we got a lot of compliments on the actual cake, however, I asked for a semi naked cake and what I received was an almost entirely frosted cake with an icing design piped around the bottom of every tier. We were also never informed that they could do fake tiers, so make sure you ask about those! Would highly recommend for the way the cake tastes, but triple check the design as I've read many reviews with this same problem.

They are true to their name! Wonderfully delicious cakes! My wedding cake was beautiful! I love how they offer fake tiers and tall sheet cake that allowed me to get the 5 tier wedding cake of my dreams in my price range! We had a little miscommunication about the groom’s cake though. In our initial meeting, we requested chocolate shavings and chocolate covered strawberries on top. Apparently one of the pictures that our consultant attached as a reference had an Aggie emblem on it. The cake looked beautiful - unfortunately neither my husband or I attended there and it was on the actual cake. As soon as we noticed it, I asked my coordinator to remove it from the reception and all was good. I know the owner of Delicious Cakes talked with my coordinator about the mistake, but I would have appreciated a call from the owner too. It was a little embarrassing since my guests noticed the cake and my husband and I went to Baylor and TCU. Overall- I would still recommend this vendor. Both cakes were wonderful and my bride’s cake looked gorgeous.

I have to start by saying that every guest has asked us where we got our cakes from because they were the best wedding cake they've ever had. When we did our wedding cake tasting Delicious Cakes was the only one we needed because we both fell in love with the flavors. We are not over the top fancy cake people and knew that we wanted a simple naked cake with floral which they did to perfection. The grooms cake was also AMAZING, brownie, cheesecake, and chocolate chip (this will for sure be ordered for many events in the future.) Every cake was moist with the prefect amount of filling and icing.

This place was recommended by another venue. We went for our tasting and the cake is delicious; and our two cakes we ordered tasted delicious! We would definitely give them 5 out of 5 stars on the taste and quality of the cake. The ordering process was great, but we paid in two installments and the second installment we paid cash. They lost the record of our second payment, so we had to run up there and take care of that. So while cake was delicious and they gave us a great deal on the cakes we ordered, organization may be a little lacking and I would maybe give a 3 out of 5 stars on their organization.

We did a cake tasting at Delicious Cakes for our wedding and we were very impressed! I am super picky about cakes, but these were delicious! I had a family friend making my wedding cake, so we decided to have Delicious Cakes make the grooms cake! He ordered the orange marmalade flavor, which is not a common flavor, but it’s delicious! On our wedding day, the cake looked great and tasted great! I did have one incident where I had e-mailed the design to them and got a quote on it. When I called to put down my deposit, they had no record of it, but once I resent the design and got that situation settled, everything else went smoothly!

Delicious Cakes does not disappoint. We had several tastings with other vendors, but Delicious Cakes won out for several reasons, their cake was fresh, moist, and they served their tastings in slices rather than as cupcakes. That shouldn't make a difference, but it totally does! It was a struggle picking a flavor because they were all so good! We ended up picking a different flavor for each tier. I will say that their Raspberry liquor cake is our favorite though. Even if you don't think you will go for it, you should at least taste it, because it is mind-blowing! They also got the design of our cake perfect and my handmade paper flowers looked great on it! Well done!

Cakes are yummy! A little overpriced and my cake fell apart before we even cut it. Other than that they’re delish and easy to work with!

Our cake was delicious, and the price was reasonable. Also...they have the best icing of all time!! The tasting they offered was fantastic, and their staff was easy to communicate and brainstorm with. However, on our wedding day when we sliced our "fake cake," it was not the right flavor inside...however they did get the sheet cakes in the back correct!

The only reason I'm giving them two stars instead of three is that the cake was delicious, but.... We had extensive conversations with them both when we order and after. We also had confirmation emails just three days before the wedding. They were supposed to decorate the semi-naked cake with fruit and our cake topper when they delivered it to the venue. This was what their recommendation when we ordered. When they delivered it, the delivery person to the event manager that they "just deliver cakes, not decorate them." Luckily the event manager stepped in and did her best even though it wasn't her job. She really saved the day. When I called Delicious Cakes to find out what happened, the owner didn't even apologize in any way until he was about to hang up. It was a throw away statement at the last minute that didn't have an ounce of sincerity. He said that he was going to check with the delivery person and call me back. It's been two days and I haven't received a call. I can't say that I'm surprised.

Delicious Cakes was an okay vendor. We went in for 2 tastings, and were placed with the same girl each time. She drew out exactly what we wanted and took our decor for our cakes. We were so excited for our cakes. However, a week before our wedding, they called and asked us about the decor and designs. Apparently, the girl we had been working with was let go, and they could not find our items. They eventually found them while we were talking to them. I explained how I wanted my decor on the cake and what each layer should have. When we arrived at the reception, our design was all wrong. We did not have our cake topper placed on the cake, and they did not use the stands we had bought (all of which we were told they would take care of). Our wedding planning quickly found our cake topper and added it right before we cut the cake, but our stands were never used. The most upsetting thing is that the design of the cake was nowhere near what we had discussed. I wish I could tell you how it tasted, but we did not have any cake (our venue’s fault not Delicious Cakes). I am excited to taste our cake on our 1 year anniversary, as Delicious Cakes promises in their contract to recreate a 6in. for us. All in all, I would recommend. Just be careful when explaining your design.

Mindy was such a joy to work with! We met with Butch the owner for cake testing and pretty much made up our mind and designs right then and there. They delivered the look and tasting we were dreaming of. Mindy answered all questions and responded timely/professionally. We were very pleased with how yummy our cakes were and our look coming to life. Delicious Cakes holds their company name well and am excited to use them again in the future. (The Madison's 11/02/18)

We just got married 12/06/18 and we ordered our cake and cupcakes from Delicious Bakery. They were absolutely amazing! Everyone loved the cupcakes and simple ombre design. Mindy and her assistant were very helpful during the tasting and the staff was always courteous during the process. I definitely recommend you get tour special day catered by them, couldnt be happier with the service!

My wedding cake and my husbands grooms cake were just amazing. The design was just what we wanted and the flavors were just delightful. I have never had such a wonderful cake before. The cake was moist and full of flavor. We had a layer of princess cake with raspberry filling, strawberry cake no filling, and pink champagne with Bavarian creme filling. The grooms cake was khaula mocha with chocolate filling. Our wedding was on 10/20 and we have been snacking on the left over cake and it's still just as delicious!! Another wonderful perk about Delicious Cakes is you don't have to save the top tier in the freezer, they make you a fresh one for your 1 year anniversary. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any occasion!

My vendor hotel for my reception referred me to Delicious Cakes. Initially, the appointment was awesome. They were very attentive. However, on my wedding day they made unauthorized changes to my cake. I was not called or consulted. I was disappointed that my cake did not look as sketched and what we discussed. I made a trip to take items for the cake they requested. I showed and told them what the cake should look like. They did not use the items I took to them. There was no follow up on how I liked the cake. I requested the items they did not use. I still have not received them. The cake was delicious. However, as far as customer service, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Now I know why they are called Delicious Cakes! I ordered a brides cake and grooms cake for my wedding on 9/22/2018 and they were both perfect. For our grooms cake we went with a golf course theme, red velvet with raspberry filling. Butch was great working with us to create the golf course cake. For the brides cake we had almond flavor with buttercream filling. Delicious Cakes also beautifully placed flowers my florist provided running down the brides cake and it was so beautiful! They were so easy to work with, showed up on time to deliver the cake, and answered all of my questions any time I called. They left me feeling very worry free. Shout out to Mindy! I really liked that they did not use fondant. I cannot get over how AMAZING the cake tasted and I am not usually a fan of cake. I will definitely be ordering from them for other occasions. Thanks for the awesome cake!

Cake is delicious but service stinks. They didn’t put the flowers in the cake and blamed everyone else for the failure. Use someone else! The taste is not worth the risk.

We used Delicious Cakes for a wedding cake and groom's cake, and both were amazing - both look and taste! We had fairly simple cake orders, but were still blown away with their taste and how beautiful they were. The cakes taste homemade - like grandma would have made them - which was why we loved them. Plus, pricing was extremely reasonable and the team was great to work with.

We ordered our bride's cake and groom's cake from Delicious Cakes for our wedding. The bride's cake was Almond flavor with "mixed" icing/filling, which I think was a mix of buttercream and cream cheese. The groom's cake was Kalua flavor with caramel filling and fudge icing. Both were absolutely amazing!! We tasted cakes at several different places, and we were both in complete agreement that Delicious Cakes was hands down the best. Not only were they the best testing cake we found, they were also beautiful! They were a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely recommend them!

We are still enjoying cake that Delicious Cakes provided for our wedding (and it's still delicious)! We met twice at Delicious Cakes to pick out our flavors and adjust them again for my mom the second time. Both visits they were very easy to work with and accommodating. They let us taste multiple flavors and provided us feedback with what they thought went best together. When we wanted a lemon cake in November, they were honest with us and told us that lemon is more of a summer cake and we appreciated their knowledge and helpfulness in the world of wedding cakes! We requested a semi (or nearly) naked cake with raspberries on it and it turned out great (looks and taste). I can't recommend them enough!

Both our bride and grooms cakes were delicious and just like we discussed with the baker at our tasting. Delicious Cakes is also great because they will give you a cake topper on your first anniversary so you don't have to save the top of your cake and freeze it! We would definitely recommend!

Delicious Cakes to the rescue! Our original baker backed out on us and we needed a new one ASAP. We came to Delicious Cakes and met with Buck and he was super accommodating and willing to work with our tight budget. He gave us several options for a cake that met our needs, and even threw in free delivery. Our cake showed up on time and looking amazing. Everyone at our wedding said that our cake was, indeed, delicious. Thank you Delicious Cakes for giving us a memorable experience, and for saving the day!

Delicious cakes was super easy and great to work with. We originally met a rep for them at a bridal expo and set up an appointment with them to talk about designs. Going to be 100 percent honest, what drew us in was the affordability! Who isn’t trying to save money while wedding planning right? So I was crossing my fingers that their cake was actually tasty and was not let down during the tasting!! We chose a simple but elegant design and they worked with us depending on the number of guests and helped us stay below budget! We were able to do a wedding cake plus a grooms cake for my husband who loved it since it was decked out with his favorite football team logo and colors! Everyone at the wedding commented on how yummy the cake was and we even had cake left to eat for a couple of days after! They delivered the cake extremely on time at the venue, the entire process was very easy, helpful and stress free! I used ribbon on my cake and they took the time and concern to call me to let me know the ribbon I had delivered to them was probably not going to look good and sent me pictures. Can’t say how much I appreciated it since I’m no expert! Bought new ribbon and they followed up with more pictures for my approval! How amazing is that! That’s great customer service! The wedding cake was gorgeous and just what I had imagined! The groomscake was almost perfect. It looked great but we asked for a copy of a full sized chess board and it was missing a couple rows. But, the cakes tasted amazing!! Definitely worth the increase in price compared to other places.

This was one of the best cakes that I have ever had. It was amazing and was a huge hit.

The consultation process was great we tried many different types of cakes and found a lovely spice cake flavor for our fall wedding. They also advised us on design and toppers that they made for us. Delivery was on time and communicating was easy by calling the store.

Delicious Cakes definitely lives up to its name! ...Delicious!! I was introduced to this bakery at the 2017 Dallas Bridal Show. They were by far one of the very best cake vendors there (and there were tons at the event). We had a great experience at our cake tasting, and the owner Butch even custom made us a blackberry mousse filling on request. Our wedding cake and grooms cake turned out lovely! Definitely a hit with all of our guests. The cake was super moist, and the icing was perfect!

We ordered cupcakes to add to the cake just a few days before the wedding, and they completed our order. The staff was amazing, and Butch made us so comfortable while at the tasting. Although we paid more than we wanted, it was worth it. The cake was so moist, and both the cake and cupcakes were gone by the end of the night.

Butch blew it out of the water when it came to designing our wedding cake and grooms cake!! He was very creative and truly brought our ideas to life!! The only thing that we were really bummed about is that the city skyline made out of fondent had fallen off of the cake before our reception started. For pictures, we were missing half of the Houston skyline. :'( Other than that, the cakes were beautiful and super tasty! Definitely recommend.

Delicious Cakes did a wonderful job with our wedding! When we went in for our tasting, we got a discount (it was a holiday weekend), and they also included a free Grooms cake! It was definitely one of the more reasonably-priced bakeries that we could find in the area, and the cake was also delicious! My only disappointment was that the cake was supposed to have flowers put on it once at the venue (it did not), and should have been decorated in ivory swirls instead of navy - HOWEVER the cake was still absolutely gorgeous, and it did not change how I felt about my wedding day at all. Thank you, Delicious Cakes, for helping make our day wonderful!

The wedding cake and grooms cake were not only beautiful but so delicious! The chocolate covered strawberries were the best ever! The chef was friendly and helpful at the tasting, helping me draw out on paper exactly what I wanted and worked with our budget to make it happen. They cakes were delivered safely and on time, fresh flowers from the florist were placed on the bridal cake once the cake was delivered. Everyone at the wedding loved the flavors; pink champagne, classic wedding cake and of course chocolate for the grooms cake. Every last slice was gone!

Delicious Cakes did a phenomenal job on my wedding cake - not only was it absolutely stunning but it was so yummy! I found the most gorgeous cake on pinterest and showed them a photo of it. Delicious cakes are just that, DELICIOUS! The staff at delicious cakes are friendly and creative. The cakes tasting was fun and tasty. The design portion went quickly as the artist captured my vision. Plus, they were able to make the groom's Banana Split Cake a reality instead of giving me a puzzling look. They delivered the cake on time and were in and out quickly. The cake was delicious as there were NO leftovers from the tiered cake and only small portion of the groom's. I will definitely order cakes from Delicious Cakes in the future for my special events.

Simply gorgeous and delicious! We had orange marmalade cake with lemon curd filling on the bottom layer and strawberry cake with strawberry mousse on the top layer. They helped me pick the perfect cake that matched my vision and offered great ideas. We got some of the leftovers after the reception and froze them for a few weeks...we ate them after the honeymoon! No need to save any for the anniversary, because Delicious Cakes will make us a fresh one for our anniversary and it's included in the cost. Great idea! Who wants to eat old cake?!?!

They are a bit on the pricey side compared to the other bakeries we tried but well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend delicious cakes to those who value a delicious cake!

Delicious Cakes was amazing! They were so friendly and very quick with responses. We went in for a tasting and every cake was so good it was hard to decided which one to pick. We had a 4 tier cake and over 100 chocolate covered strawberries. Everything was flawless and tasted amazing. I will defiantly use Delicious Cakes for parties and other events!
