From beginning to end, Delicious Designs was very professional. We had an issue with another bakery in the area but once we started working with Delicious designs, all of our worries went out the window. They made everything so easy!! I am vegan so I wanted a vegan wedding cake and regular cupcakes on the side. Everyone RAVED about the cake and had no idea that it was vegan. We did a marble cake with vegan buttercream frosting. I'm drooling just thinking about it! I might even get cookies shipped to me in San Diego because it was that good. They even delivered the cake and cupcakes to use from Reno to South Lake Tahoe. 10/10 I would tell everyone that's getting married in Reno or Lake Tahoe to work with this company.

My husband and I visited Leigh Anne in Reno for our cake tasting experience and it was a wonderful way to get to know Leigh Anne and describe our wedding cake vision over cake tasting! A few days before our wedding, we wanted to add cupcakes to our order for a special event taking place the day after the wedding, and the Delicious Designs staff was amazing to work with for this last minute order. They provided suggestions for cupcake flavors and designs. Our wedding guests continue to rave about our wedding cake and cupcakes! Hi there! My name is Leigh Anne and I own Delicious Designs in Reno, Nevada. We deliver and set up sweet treats and cakes all over the Reno/Tahoe area. My team is fabulous! We are like a little work family, so whether you call and get me or one of my amazing team members we can assist you with your baking needs. I have been in the food industry for the last 20 years and got my start in culinary school at age 14. I took off from there and really went into the pastry side when I was 18 and I have been making cakes and desserts ever since. I love what I do and would love to share it with you!

ny places may charge you for the tasting/consultation meeting and it can be upwards of $60 and I think that’s crazy. We chose her as our cake supplier and it was the best decision. I showed her some inspiration picutes and she gave me a few different options on how to make it possible on a smaller round cake. She then told me the price and it was a little out of budget so she suggested ways we can change the design slightly, stay in budget, and still love it. Leigh Anne did three cakes for our wedding; a six inch round and two sheet cakes. The price was very reasonable for the order. As long as you communicate with her and give her as much warning as possible, she will work with and accommodate your needs. We got married in winter time and the weather had been really bad but she worked with us for pick up so that everyone was safe. Overall, such a great experience and would definitely recommend!

She offered various options for cake plates and cake decor as well. Both cakes turned out beautiful and delicious. All of our guests raved about how yummy both of our cakes were-- especially our carrot cake. We would highly recommended using Delicious Designs for any sweet treats or important events for how wonderful every component of our experience was.

inute we booked them. First, we had a tasting shortly after booking, and the cake flavors are to die for!!! During the tasting, Leigh Anne worked with us to pick a cake size that stayed within our budget but was also able to feed all our guests. Her input was so helpful! During the tasting, as hard as it was to choose flavors, we went with Berry Champagne for one tier and Lemon Lovers for the other—highly recommended, especially the Berry Champagne! It’s amazing! As we got close to the wedding, I decided to add some desserts, including macrons purchased through Delicious Designs(so good) and chocolate chip cookies. What I really appreciated is that Leigh Anne helped me decide how many to order, to make sure I wasn’t breaking the bank. We cut back on cake in order to have more cookies and we had the perfect amount! If she hadn’t made suggestions, we would have spent way more than needed. On the day of the wedding, she worked great with my florist to decorate the cake. When I saw it, I was in awe that a cake could be so beautiful. It was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen. Guests loved both the look and the taste! We had so many comments and the cookies were also a hit! Additionally, since my husband had to leave the tasting early to get to a 49-er game(lol, diehard 49er's fan), Leigh Anne had the great idea to surprise him with a box of hand-decorated 49er cookies on his place setting the day of the wedding. He absolutely loved them. He didn’t want to eat them at first because of how great the design was, but the minute he bit into one, he couldn’t stop! The cookies were so thoughtful of Leigh Anne and I felt like she really got to know us as a couple. This was truly one of our favorite vendors to work with! You cannot find a better baker for your wedding than Delicious Designs! If you book them, you will not regret it!

Anne was. When we did our trial tasting we fell in love with all the flavors that she had, we choose lemon blueberry for our cake and till this day we still drool over how delicious it was. We then did cupcakes(strawberry shortcake and chocolate peanut butter flavor), cookies(chocolate chip and snickerdoodle), vanilla cake pops and pecan pie tarts for our dessert bar. Our guest loved ever dessert we had and kept asking where they can go to get some more. I definitely will be a repeat customer in the future for birthdays and any other parties. Truly the best baker in the Reno-Tahoe area!

uring our consultation, we tried several samples to get a good idea of the flavor(s) we wanted for our cake and cupcakes. Another big aspect was design. We wanted to include the mountains and outdoors and well as incorporate our dogs some how. Leigh Ann knew exactly how to take these ideas and customize them for us. We wanted to stay away from fondant and she gave us great ideas of how to do so. On the day of, our cake was absolutely perfect- we couldn't have asked for a better design with the ideas we had. The cake and cupcakes were delicious as well and we can't wait to eat our cake on our 1 year anniversary.

The cookies were gone before dinner was even served. The cake pops were phenomenal. And the cake tasted great that night and for breakfast the next day ha. I also super appreciate how flexible, creative and kind the team was during the decision making, ordering and delivery process. With two postponements and a change of venue due to COVID, the journey to our wedding day had not been easy but Leigh Anne and the ladies at Delicious Designs were angels. Their kindness and flexibility in the last 2 years has meant everything. They always went above and beyond to make each interaction from the cake tasting to a simple phone call, a positive experience. They took the time to discover our personal style and tastes to create a dessert plan that is unique to us. It's been two months and I'm still getting comments from guests!

We did both cake and cupcakes at our wedding, and they were all so delicious that there was none left over! All the guests raved about the cake and the fantastic texture and flavor. I can also vouch for her cookies because my mother in law also ordered custom sugar cookies for a treat to welcome our guests to town.
