Deliciously Different Specialty Items

I cannot say enough good things about Robin, Taylor, and the entire Deliciously Different team. We used them as our caterer for our wedding on 10/1/21 and they were an absolute dream. I’m vegan and they went out of their way to create the most delicious menu, offering a large variety of options for me. The food was INCREDIBLE. The vegan entree ended up being the favorite dish among our guests. So many people came up to me during the wedding to rave about the food. We were also lucky enough to have the bar car (cutest thing ever) and the drinks were amazing. The level of service this team provided is unmatched. They were constantly making sure I had a drink in my hand and food to eat while taking pictures. Leading up the wedding Robin and Taylor were professional and helpful every step of the way. Wedding planning is stressful and I had a lot of big ideas about what I wanted. Robin was great at leveling my expectations in a kind, but honest, way. When we attended a group tasting before the wedding Robin made up an entirely separate vegan menu for me. I was beyond grateful. I am constantly made to feel silly for the lifestyle I’ve chosen when it comes to food and Robin consistently went out of her way to make me feel inclusive and to provide me with equally as delicious food as the meat-eaters. Choosing vendors for your wedding is really difficult. You will not go wrong with Deliciously Different as your caterer. They are worth every single dollar. I honestly might throw a party just so I can hire them again. 10/10.

The entire process of working with Robin and Deliciously Different was seamless and super easy. The food was delivered right on time, in such a way that minimal prep/work was required on my part (which was extremely important to me because I got married during Covid and had a super small wedding with just my immediate family and didn't want to bring any vendors on premises so as to avoid any potential exposure). The food itself was fantastic, I loved everything. The standouts were the mini lobster roll appetizers and the brown butter corn and feta orzo. I had wanted risotto but Robin suggested this instead as it could be served at room temperature and she was totally right. And the caramelized onion and pineapple aioli that came with the corn and crab fritters was out of this world. At one point I was just eating it straight from the container. My one small complaint was that I had asked for roasted vegetables and I believe we were sent grilled ones instead. They were still delicious though so it was not a problem. We were sent a generous amount of food, so much so that my husband and I were eating leftovers for literally four days after our wedding. All in all we had a wonderful experience with this vendor and would use them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend!

I was planning a wedding upstate ny while I live on Long Island. I found Deliciously Different on The Knot and set up a meet and greet. I never tasted the food before booking but I had a good feeling about Robin and her staff. I can not tell you how amazing the food was for our wedding. Every single person that I spoke to that night made it a point to tell me how incredible the food was. One of my guests is a NYC chef and was blown away with all of it. The appetizers were unreal and the main course was just as amazing! Everyone told me I wouldn’t get a chance to eat at my own wedding but I made it a point to get to enjoy what Robin prepared and I’m so happy I did! Not to mention how awesome her food truck is! Incredible! Highly recommended!!

Appetizers were great. Food was delicious. Owners are very nice. Bartenders need more training.
