During the wedding, multiple DelightMore staff members personally checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed Overall, DelightMore is a wonderful company to work with. The pasta bar with the chefs creating individualized pasta meals for each guest was something I did not expect but absolutely loved ! The cannoli desserts and gelato bar were a big hit as well. Misti and her staff that night were very professional, courteous and helpful which made the whole night run so smoothly! The bride and groom absolutely loved everything and the party guests raved about what a lovely venue, the delicious meal and enjoyable evening it was ! Thanks for helping us host such a special celebration that we will never forget!

We got so many compliments on the pasta buffet choice, as well as the salad, vegetables, and garlic bread sides. The house bar was an amazing add-on. Paying per person allowed us not to have to worry about ordering the correct amount. We were also able to include signature cocktails at no extra charge! Ultimately, I was impressed by the work of the DelightMore team prior to our wedding. Shelley went above and beyond to help us plan details, like the order of events. DelightMore provides so many essential wedding day services, beyond simply food. They are AMAZING and I have recommended their services to many people!

told me that DelightMore was very easy to work with before the event. We had the wedding on Friday evening 9/29/2024 at Ault Park during the height of hurricane Helene. Before the wedding could start, we moved to plan D and moved the guest tables to the two side rooms in the pavilion because the wind and rain was drenching the normal seating area in the center area. Also, we were in candlelight because the power was knocked out due to the storm. DelightMore made the best of it and more. They adapted their plan to make it all work in spite of the challenge. Karen and Jarad were on-site working to make it all work. They changed staff responsibilities because some of their staff was unable to make it to the park due to the storm. Jarad came to talk to me before the meal was served to tell me their plan of serving one room at a time and that our room's meal would be delayed but they would do the best they could. We then got our bread and salads within a few minutes of us sitting down. The main course may have been delayed a few minutes longer than they hoped for us, but it wasn't very delayed. The meal was still delicious and freshly made on site using generators they brought to the event. The staff was kind and worked through all of the changes and the tightly packed room setting. Jarad followed up after the meal was served to make sure everything worked out ok. DelightMore exceeded my expectations by their execution and concern for the customer. I can't thank DelightMore enough and would recommend them to anyone planning an event, especially during a natural disaster.

We are extremely grateful to have had her by our side throughout the entire wedding planning process. Everything went smoothly thanks to her expertise and dedication, and she truly made our lives so much easier. We highly recommend her!

et a quote. I was told it may take a week due to a vacation. 2 weeks went by and then I reached out due to not hearing back. I again heard nothing, so I emailed again with the person we spoke to and still haven’t heard a response in over 2 months. Very disappointing when you’re trying to book a well known and reviewed vendor!

The food they make is truly outstanding and we heard so many compliments from our guests on it. My 91 year old grandmother even declared her beef tenderloin the best she has ever had. :) Thank you all again for an amazing day. We cannot recommend The Transept and DelightMore more highly!

tely awesome: We couldn't have been "Delighted More"!   Before I talk about the personnel, I need to review the food.  The food was prepared to perfection, served timely and hot, and was delicious -- we received so many compliments about the food. Lori Haines (Sales and Customer Service) was fantastic throughout the whole process.  This was our first wedding and we needed assistance.  Lori walked us though from the beginning to the end, promptly answering all of our questions, and providing us relevant suggestions / options. Her industry knowledge is invaluable.  The tasting evening was outstanding -- tough decisions because all of their food is so good.  The table decor (linens, flatware, and place setting) was perfect.  Garrett (Wedding Coordinator) was on site the day of the wedding and made sure that every detail was perfect.    Aside from Lori and Garrett, I want to thank the entire Delightmore staff that worked so hard to help make Kenzie and Eric's wedding reception a huge success.   The night was absolutely perfect. We have two other daughters and we will absolutely use Delightmore Catering again!

Karen made our day run so smoothly, even as we had to change the location of the ceremony which changed the reception. She made sure everything ran according to plan and continued to check on my husband and I to see how everything was and if there was anything we specifically needed. She helped setup private drinks and appetizers for us to share alone right after the ceremony and was incredibly professional and efficient. The appetizers passed during cocktail hour were all raved about by our guests, people were following the servers to make sure they could get more! We had around 160 guests for the plated meal and it was all served with wine service without any issues. Having her with us throughout the day allowed us to not worry about anything and only focus on each other. I didn't have to even think about any details because I knew she had it covered. The food was DELICIOUS! We had people complimenting it as the best catered meal they had ever had during the reception. The owner even showed up and thanked us personally after dinner was served for working with the team and made sure everything was going how we would have liked. The whole team was so friendly and listened to what we wanted for our big day. I cannot recommend this vendor highly enough, they have surpassed our already high expectations!

A few things that stood out - 1) Lori, our primary contact, was kind and helpful as we were making decisions on food and details. We asked her a lot of questions and changed our minds frequently, and she always handled it with grace and got us what we needed. 2) The food itself was excellent. We heard nothing but great reviews from our guests. It came out hot and the servings were huge! This was a standout compared to many other large weddings we've attended (we had 225 guests). 3) The service on the night of our wedding was impeccable! Karen was our contact on site and she helped us have a lovely private bride and groom dinner. There were plenty of event staff to feed our guests quickly. They even remembered small detail requests - for example, my grandparents love coffee and don't get around super well. While there was coffee served at the bar, DelightMore sent over a staff member to my grandparents' table to bring them coffee so they didn't have to get up. So sweet and special. Thank you to DelightMore for helping make our night so wonderful!

The table-side ordering was incredible and definitely worth the extra money. We marveled at how the owners of Funky's were serving food to my guests during my reception. There wasn't a single detail that they did not think of and I could not have had a more perfect day because of them.

For the stations we did a mac & cheese bar (the gouda mac & cheese is hands down the best mac & cheese I've ever had), and their garden market station - which included salad bar, chicken, fish, veggies, and tomato soup and grilled cheese. With all the supply shortages that happened in 2021, they called me the day before the wedding to tell me that they didn't get their shipment in that they needed to make the tomato soup. However, they knew how excited I was to have that as part of the menu and they went above & beyond to find supplies to get the soup made for our wedding day! I was ecstatic!! Our guests raved all night about the quality of the food we had. They also efficiently were able to serve our ~200 guests in a timely manner. My only critique of Funky's is their communication. I am still giving them 5 stars and would recommend them despite this. 2021 was a challenging time for wedding vendors, and I am sure this played a part in why they didn't exceed my expectations in this department. On top of that, we did have some drastic last minute changes due to a change in venue from circumstances out of our control. The Funky's team did go above & beyond to assist us and adapt to the changes we had to make because of this. The team at Funky's was always incredibly nice and professional; but it often took extended periods of time for them to respond to emails and it seemed that our proposal had errors every time they would send us a revised version of it. This happened throughout the entire planning process up to the day before the wedding. Ultimately, we were able to get it sorted out without issue. Overall Funky's did an amazing job and helped us to have a perfect wedding day. Thank you Funky's team, we are very grateful for all your help!

y stands out is on the day of your event. First, we were given a day of coordinator who was an absolute delight and the hardest working, most incredible help from the time we rehearsed our ceremony to when we left that night. Second, their on-site manager quickly pivoted from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor one with total ease and helped me feel confident in the pivot despite being disappointed the rain was ruining my outdoor event. And most importantly, when our florist dropped the ball, the entire Funky team on site at the Pinecroft pulled off the most incredible turnaround and made sure my husband and I had the reception we dreamed about. They built arrangements, pulled out spare candles and seriously performed a miracle. I do not know what we would have done without their tremendous professionalism and skill. I'm so proud to have been married at one of their venues, and I didn't even get into all the compliments we received on our food that night. They're simply the best, and Cincinnati is beyond lucky to have them.

Funky's is one of the most popular caterers in Cincinnati for good reason: the food is delicious, the service is great, and the people who work there are passionate about what they do.

day of my wedding I did not have to worry about ANYTHING. There was always someone there to get what I needed. I’m a control freak and so I was worried about the day of going smoothly but they managed the WHOLE process and made sure everything happened how it was supposed to. And they even helped me bustle my dress when we couldn’t figure it out, haha.

l Matthews Photography, all five of us, and we were served just like guests. So many caterers serve a "vendors meal" of a dry PB&J and a warm can of coke, NOT Funky's. We were nothing but impressed. We heard only rave comments from the guest in regard to the food.
