Delish Cakes

flavor combinations. Seeing it displayed on our wedding day was truly a shock, as it surpassed our expectations. Our guests told us how it was the best wedding cake they ever had. The use of fresh and real ingredients truly shines through in the taste. Next to the cake, my favorite would have to be the s'mores sticks. As a fall wedding, they did not disappoint and were a big hit.

go and worked with them to design a cutting cake for our wedding, and to sample the cupcakes we planned to serve our wedding guests. All of the cake and frosting flavors that we tried tasted incredible - the almond cherry was our favorite! When we walked into our wedding reception and saw our cake, our jaws literally dropped - it was beyond stunning and looked just like the drawing that we designed when we first met! As stunning as the cake was, when we cut into it it tasted even better! Our guests loved the regular and miniature cupcakes that we served - with over 250 cupcakes, we only had 8 leftover at the end of the night for to-go boxes. Multiple guests asked where the cupcakes were from because they were so good, so we of course told them everything was from Delish Cakes! We will absolutely order from them again for future parties or special events.

h I really enjoyed because I was able to take a few flavors & fillings to bring home & my fiancé and I were able to try the flavors at home. We ended up going with the carrot cake & cream cheese - it was delicious! All our guests said it was amazing! The design that they drew up for us, exactly matched the final product - I highly recommend!

ts kept saying how delicious the cupcakes were!

our dream cake. She was very flexible and willing to work with my ideas. I wanted real flowers, two figures of my dogs, and a custom topper I had. We LOVED the cake. We were super impressed with how beautiful and good it tasted. We loved our experience with Delish Cakes!

ng was fun. We got six cupcakes to go and six different fillings. It was hard to narrow down the flavors we wanted because they were all so good! The final cake turned out just like Alicia's sketch. The cake was beautiful and...delish.

s north to find this amazing bakery. Alicia sat down with my groom and I with paper and pencil in hand. She drew out our vision in detail right in front of us. Her creativity and suggestions were refreshing. The pricing was very fair and add-ons were not outrageous as we were prepared for the worst after our other experiences and quotes. We wanted a specific themed cake for cutting and then treats for our guests. She designed a beautiful 3 tiered cake and cake balls to fit my groom's vision perfectly. (We did a masquerade with sunflowers.) As we sat there talking it through there were some beautiful and creative special cakes and treats leaving the shop as well. She then gave us delicious cupcakes, fillings, and frostings to sample and decide on what we liked the best in our own time. There were no limits on flavors of the layers or combos of fillings. They delivered to the reception which was about 12 miles from the shop in the delivery window given by the reception hall because there was no space to refrigerate on site. They even loaned us a cake stand to match. It looked beautiful and tasted as great as it looked. A few guests mentioned they have used this bakery for birthdays or other events and we will probably take the drive to do so in the future as well. Highly recommend!

to our cake beautifully. I would highly recommend getting your wedding cake here!

e able to sketch out a picture of the cake immediately when we first met, then executed on our vision beautifully and most importantly made a delicious cake! We highly recommend them for wedding cakes!

they were able to accomodate gluten-free options. Our custom cat cake toppers were adorable and we were so happy with them. The cake was delicious!

rchase the personalized cake topper. We could also request a new top on our one year anniversary. So impressive. They were part of our package with Villa Olivia. We code lemon custard on lemon cake with white buttercream flowers. She fabulous.

nations. Delish Cakes was able to make that happen. They had so many flavors to choose from, and they all tasted so good. The price was excellent as well. I would recommend them for cakes, cupcakes, and other small treats.

a and her team really captured the vision we were going for. I can't recommend Delish Cakes enough!

pecan w/caramel buttercream. We wanted a simple cake decorated with real flowers. It looked incredible and the flavor was amazing. For the tasting, they provide 6 cupcakes and 6 flavors, unassembled so you can mix and match. We thought they were assembled, so we picked 2 of the same flavors and 2 of the same cakes, so don't make that mistake.

us to sample. We were planning our wedding from another state, and Alicia was always prompt and to-the-point in her communications with us. Delish was able to accommodate vegan cupcakes for our guests as well, which we appreciated. The cake itself was beautifully decorated with a birch tree pattern and made for a stunning centerpiece. Unfortunately, it was a bit dry, but a fair layer of filling and icing helped. Overall, I would recommend Delish for a beautiful cake, but go ahead and sample their cupcakes first to ensure they’re to your liking.

ith them for our wedding cake and sweets. When we first went in and met with Alicia for a tasting, it was clear from the beginning that she knew what she was doing and still exceeded our expectations on our wedding day. After our delicious tasting, we sent her some pictures of how we wanted our wedding cake to look, desired flavors, and overall size. When it arrived on our special day, I kid you not when I say it looked exactly like the photo we had sent to her! Additionally, we ordered cupcakes to go along with the cake, and Alicia and her team did an incredible job of decorating them not only to look like flowers, but also put in the time to ensure they matched our actual bouquet colors. Furthermore, since Delish Cakes was one of our venue’s preferred vendors, Alicia worked directly with them to deliver the sweets on time so we never had to worry about anything on our special day. We would absolutely recommend Delish Cakes to anyone looking for a wedding cake, sweets, and anything in between!

ighly recommend!

tely be back for birthdays and other holidays for some tasty treats!

ble to quickly pick a design and flavors, and on the day of I was in awe of how great the cake looked! We picked a chocolate cake with strawberry filling and it tasted so delicious!!

r cake to fit our event and our budget. And also some of the best cake I've ever had, even their vegan cupcakes were great. The price was lower than other bakeries and we got a much larger and more spectacular cake. Communicaton was good and they were very organized and professional. Delivery was so fast I never even saw them but my wedding planner was happy with them and she's pretty hard to impress! Can't wait to order our anniversary cake!

that much and I devoured it. We went with a layer of lemon, layer of chocolate with buttercream; and layer of vanilla with raspberry preserves (so fresh) . As for the decorations - I gave them a picture and it literally looked just like me picture. For pricing, it was very affordable. I went with buttercream and saved a little money and it looked just as good as if it was yucky fondit. The company is very responsive, i think first response was after 2 days, communication was very easy and they are very friendly. Delivery was also on time as well. highly recommend Delish Cakes for your stylish dream cake

and got her cake from Delish Cakes, so we knew she was wanted our cake from them. Not only did the cake look more beautiful than I could have imagined, it tasted SO GOOD! Guests were raving about the cake all night! My favorite part is that instead of freezing the top tier, they will bake us a fresh cake for our one year anniversary to enjoy! I am really looking forward to that day! They’re located close to where I live and will definitely use them for future cake needs!

d on a Pinterest image I showed her...we were so impressed! On our wedding day, the cake was beautiful (exactly as I pictured it!) and so delicious. I've had a few other items from Delish as well (decorated cookies, cupcakes) and you really can't go wrong with this bakery! I would absolutely recommend them!

by a friendly face, and quickly after met with the bakery’s owner, Alicia, who gave us a quote for cupcakes and the cake we wanted. My (now) husband found a cute cake on Pinterest, we showed Alicia the picture and she made it happen. Delivery went smooth and they set everything up without me having to be at the venue to sign off. We had our reception in the city and they delivered downtown, no problem. Overall price was great, customer service was great, and the product was great! Can’t say enough good things about Alicia and her bakery!

e theme for my daughters bridal shower was inspired by the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Alicia truly made our vision come to life with creating a gorgeous tiered cake with flowers and lemon slices, it was the topic of conversation at the shower. Not only was it visually stunning, it tasted just as great! I can’t say enough great things about the team at Delish, especially Alicia!

oked amazing and Alicia worked with us from the beginning to create our dream cake. In addition to our rice krispy cake, we had delicious sheet cakes to serve to the guests and individual rice krispies for everyone. Great taste, great quality, great service, great prices. I could not be happier with how everything turned out! Will be going to Delish Cakes for all my dessert needs from now on! Thank you!

ng on they were all on different pages. Overall the cake was perfect just poor communication.

cake with each tier as a different flavor. We had a lot of friends that don't like cake. Not only did they LOVE our cake, they tried all four flavors. It was so wonderful working with Alicia and the team at Delish Cakes, I highly recommend them!

were super laid back and easy to work with. We enjoyed our tasting and got to try every possible flavor combination. Our cake the day of the wedding was beautiful, exactly what I dreamed of, and so absolutely delicious. Our guests have been raving about it!

us, as were the cake pops, chocolate dipped oreos, pretzels, and the sunflower cookies. My daughter ended up ordering a small "wedding cake" to cut and it was beautifully done with beaded decorations and two chocolate covered strawberries on top, also decorated in wedding dress and groom jacket. Be patient with getting in touch with Alicia. It is best to contact the store (Bloomingdale) directly.

s that. It was a little dry, but nothing horrible. The price was great as well and they dropped it off at my venue for me. I didn't have anything in writing contract wise, but other than that no complaints!

o tastings but we were immediately impressed with Alicia at Delish Cakes. Not only did she give us HUGE samples for our tasting (and SO GOOD), she quickly understood what we were going for and sketched us something amazing! We asked her if her design could be made with buttercream rather than fondant (we're not too fond of the taste) and she got right on it and made the tweaks the design would need to work on the different frosting type. And, on top of all that, she was SO reasonably priced! By far the best price we found. On the day of, we LOVED our cake! We got so many compliments on how cute it was and how excellent it tasted. We ate our top tier after the honeymoon and continuously freaked out over how yummy it was. The best part is that Alicia includes an anniversary cake in all her sales! Next year, on our anniversary, she'll make us a new top tier so we get to eat it fresh instead of frozen! What a brilliant idea! All in all, we would DEFINITELY recommend Delish Cakes to anyone who is looking for beautiful and delicious baked goods!

d saw how gorgeous the sweet table looked. From beginning to end, they were professional, caring, and so easy to work with. I had an exact idea of what I wanted for our wedding cake and the final product turned out even better than I imagined and tasted AMAZING! I got so many compliments on both the look and taste of our cake and sweet table. I can't thank Delish Cakes enough for all their hard work and helping to make our fairy tale wedding turn out perfectly!

ia was so flexible, accommodating all the changes we wanted to make, and even helping me surprise the groom with an AMAZING groom's cake in the shape of the Chicago Bulls logo. Both cakes turned out more stunning than we expected, and guests complimented both the appearance and the taste all night!

casion. I highly recommend them. Price is very economical :)

it was soooo moist, and the flavors were just right! That got me! Beauty and Taste both...You got my vote!! I highly recommend and will pass the word!!

unique flavors we tried. We settled on lemon, pistachio, and mocha with a caramel filling. Each tier was a different flavor at no extra charge. Our guests are still ranting and raving about the cake. I will be stopping there for a Sweet tooth fix.
