I gave the team a bunch of shots I wanted to get done, but they went out of there way to capture photos I didn't think I wanted! We booked Todd from Della Bella Photography after reading reviews and meeting with him in person. We loved his work that he had on social media and knew he would capture what we wanted for our wedding day. Our original date was in 2020 but due to covid we had to push to 2021. Todd was communicative throughout the whole process and easily moved our date with no issues. Fast forward to the day of; he was prepared with ideas for us as a couple and for group shots. He knew what lighting would come out correctly and was able to cover everything we wanted in the time we had. Our sneak peak pictures were posted THE DAY AFTER THE WEDDING. We received the rest within a month. We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Todd and with our beautiful wedding pictures.

UPDATE APRIL 2022: Todd & JoJo were the absolute perfect pair for us on our wedding day. Todd has such a creative eye and kept our day moving along with all the photos we were looking for. We had a big sneak peek album within 48 hours of our wedding and got to see how well he captured our absolute favorite moments throughout the entire day that left us with so much joy! We cannot wait to see the entire album! ORIGINAL JULY 2021: My fiancé & I cannot recommend Todd enough! When we first spoke to him last fall, he immediately made us feel very comfortable and gave us so much helpful information from the start about how wedding timelines work. He has such a calm demeanor that we knew we had to book him! We recently had our Engagement Photo shoot this summer and Todd, along with his assistant JoJo, made the day so easy going for us and helped us lighten up at the shoot went on. We cannot wait for them to photograph our wedding next April!

Todd was very knowledgeable about some great local spots (Topsmead State Forest) to choose for our photos, and was able to capture the kinds of photos we were hoping for. He made us feel comfortable throughout the photo shoot even when convincing us to move outside of our comfort zone. Todd arrived early for the shoot and it was obvious he was well prepared. He has always been prompt in responding to our questions and concerns when we were working on getting the shoot set up. Overall, it was a great experience and we are very happy with our engagement photos and are excited for the wedding!!

My husband and I were married on May 10, 2018. Todd was our photographer. It was an awesome choice to have him capture our day. Firstly, he was punctual. Prior to our wedding day, he coordinated a ‘day-of-schedule’ that planned out his arrival and times for pictures throughout the day. Todd was very professional yet so down to earth, making us laugh the entire time. He worked very well with us, the bridal party, and both of our families (which merits a lot of patience!). He is very good with direction, making sure to get the best shots/poses. I appreciate a photographer who makes sure everyone in a shot is looking their best and Todd takes time to do that (checking for smiles and eye closure, even straightening ties...etc). When it came to creating our wedding album, a whole year later in 2019, the entire process went very smoothly. He was even very understanding that life circumstances led to the year-long delay of designing our album. As you can imagine putting together a wedding album can be quite time consuming however, Todd walked us through every step, listened to our concerns and made helpful recommendations. Overall, Todd was very patient with us and our experience with him from start to finish of our wedding journey (he photographed our engagement pictures as well) was a memorable one. Della Bella Photography is well worth the financial investment, which I must say the packages are very fair. If we had to do it all over, hands down, my husband and I would not hesitate to work with Todd again.

Todd was FANTASTIC to work with throughout our entire planning process. He had creative ideas about locations in our venue that would look nice or poses. We felt so comfortable working with him. Todd captured some beautiful posed photos of us as well as the between moments candids. I'm having difficulty deciding what to hang in our house-probably the best problem for a recent bride to have! I can't imagine anyone else capturing our special day as well as Todd was able to!

Tod is the best photographer. He legit made my dream come true! I did my engagement pictures with him and he was open to any requests. I gave him some poses that I saw on social media that I loved and he made sure to get the exact same poses for me and my fiancé. He made sure to hide any areas of my body that I don’t feel comfortable with!. He is perfect even in predicting the weather. Great personality, great quality pictures, and most importantly great price!. He enjoys shooting and he makes sure that you get comfortable with the camera and the place before you start shooting! I honestly argued with my fiancé because he doesn’t like to take pictures! But today after he saw the pictures he thanked me alot! For having such beautiful memories to show for our kids! If you’re searching for a photographer for your wedding, look no further! Todd from Della Bella is your go to guy, along with his fantastic assistants! We were living in California planning for our wedding that was going to be in CT at Foxwoods Casino, so we had to look at vendors in that area. When we came across Della Bella’s page we knew it was a great fit for us just by looking at the images. Photography is a very important part of a wedding and I just knew right away the images from Della Bella would be amazing, so we put all of our eggs in one basket and booked right away to secure our date! Todd kept in contact our entire engagement and he is a very great guy with a laid back personality which was good especially for my nerves on the big day lol. When we moved back to the area, I set up a time to go meet him at the location where the wedding was going to be and we scouted our the area of where we would be doing first look pictures, group photos etc. He is very organized and wants to make sure everything is perfect and how you want it to go. He puts a lot of work into preparing for the day and is very professional. He knew photography is important to us so he asked for any ideas that we had for pics and he got every idea silly or not, that we gave him! The week before the wedding he had me email him must have shots that we wanted and he brought it the day of to make sure he got them plus thousands and thousands more shots!! When the big day arrived we were thrown a curve ball with the rainy windy weather so I was nervous about all the shots we planned were outside. But Todd and his assistant came in strong and had a backup plan in order for another place for the pictures and it was perfect! Della Bella are very talented hard working professionals who have a gift behind the camera that capture lifelong images. They are very unique and creative and I love everything about them and I know you will too. Todd and his team were great! We really wanted to enjoy our wedding but we also wanted great photographs of the event and Todd delivered! From the get go he built out a timeline right on the phone with me, which set me at ease and built great expectation of the day! He even let me see a couple of them as we were shooting and they were GREAT! We got all the shots we wanted and still got to enjoy our wedding!! He was there early and late! We got the photos back really fast I was shocked they are all great!! So many people posted how beautiful they came out. We had our engagement shoot with Todd back in October and it couldn’t have gone better! Todd and JoJo were great about making us feel comfortable and really captured us as a couple. Todd really came through with beautiful photos that paired well with our personalities. He had a challenging day with rain delays and instant-sweat humidity, but he was there early and ready and worked really hard to weather the weather and get many great shots around our go-with-the-flow outdoor schedule. I used Della Bella for my photographer for my wedding and I am beyond happy. We were on a tight budget and Della Bella was very reasonable. Not only was the price good but we had an instant connection. We told him we didn't want many pictures of our guest we wanted more of us and our families and our bridal party. Which I met with a few photographers and Todd was the only one who wasn't judgy and snotty when I said that. He was understanding and really wanted us to be comfortable and love the photos. Everything with Todd was just easy which when your under wedding stress that what you need! I can't say enough good things. He was on time, he took charge during the chaos and he sent me sneak peak photo a few the week of our honeymoon and than some more and he sent our final photographs a month after our wedding. Which is so quick alot of my friends didn't get back their photos for a few months. I was so please with the photos and I am very critical of myself in photograph but I LOVEDDD how I looked since he is so talented !

Todd was a friendly and professional photographer who went out of his way to make sure our wedding day was captured perfectly. Todd met with us in person for over an hour to discuss our vision for the style of photographs we wanted. He was very accommodating to specific requests, taking into account our "wants" and "do not wants". He offered guidance as to what kinds of poses and styles we wanted without pushing us into preconceived or cliche poses. He took care to learn the names of all family members and wedding party members. His samples were beautiful, and the photos he took for us were just as good as the samples. His pricing was excellent, and the quality of his photos equals or surpasses those of photographers who cost double or triple the price. As a same-sex couple, it was important to us to choose a photographer that was sensitive to the unique dynamics of a same-sex wedding. If Todd had never photographed for a wedding of two men, we would not have known. He was very at ease and treated us as if we were any other couple. Rather than making assumptions he asked respectful questions about what we preferred as a same sex couple. He did not refer to our wedding party as the "bridal party" as other vendors did. What made the greatest impact on us, other than the high quality of his photos, was that he was very aware that certain poses of opposite-sex couples clearly do not suit same-sex couples. He never asked us to pose in a "bride and groom" style photo and was careful to not impose any kind of assumed gender roles. In all, Todd was wonderful to work with and took fantastic photos. We give him our highest recommendation. Todd - thank you for capturing our day. Through your photos we will always remember our wedding as vividly as the day it took place.
