I loved experience shopping for my dress at Della Curva. The salon set up is amazing and welcoming and the service we received was superb. I went in expecting to look around not planning to buy a dress as I went in December 2019 and got married November 2020. Being plus size its hard to find options at other bridal salons where they offer sample options that fit, are comfortable, and look good. At della every dress I tried on was comfortable, fit, AND made me feel beautiful. Totally loved my experience there!!

Came out of town as they are one of the only exclusive plus size bridal shops around. Shopping for a dress during this pandemic was not ideal, but Ruby and the staff were very professional and made the entire appointment so much fun! Ruby is so amazing and made me feel beautiful and picked out gorgeous dresses to try on! She knew exactly what would look good and found me dress! This place is so amazing and would 10/10 recommend any bride to go there!

I couldn't be happier!! The try on appointment was amazing, the lovely ladies that work here made me feel so beautiful in anything I tried on. Being plus sized can come with difficulties, I went to other dresses stores who weren't as welcoming. As soon as I walking into Della Curva I felt welcome, my nerves slowly went away as I tried on the most beautiful dresses ever! And during this whole pandemic going on at the moment I was able to pick up my dress with contact less pick up! I couldn't be happier with the amazing service and amazing staff that made my whole week!! I Will always recommend Della Curva, also keep in mind they have a sister company for smaller brides that has lovely dresses as well!!

I had the most amazing experience trying on dresses at Della Curva. I had been to one other bridal salon before coming here and I really thought I had found "The One". That is until I stepped foot into Della Curva. They had so many selections of dresses to try on including the dress I had thought was MINE. Somehow, trying that one back on for a second time, I knew it wasn't for me and so the hunt for the perfect dress continued. Ruby was my "Fairy Gownmother"! She is amazing and made me feel beautiful, comfortable and at ease when I was getting flustered at times. I was able to try on so many gorgeous dresses but I kept going back to this one Essence of Australia dress. It had everything I had pictured me wearing & I felt so beautiful and comfortable in it. After trying on more dresses just to make sure, I tried "The One" back on and my decision was made. With the help of Ruby and my MOH, I had found MY DRESS. I would HIGHLY recommend Della Curva for any bride looking to try on ALL the dresses size 14 and up! There selection is so amazing and I guarantee you will find the dress of your dreams here. Merrick was an absolute genius! She knew exactly what I was looking for when I showed her my pinterest board. She was attentive and patient with my bridal party and myself. She made my first dress shopping experience one to remember. She could sense that I was a bit overwhelmed, but she helped keep me calm and feeling stress free. I was afraid that I wouldn't look good in any of the dresses but was blown away with how those beautiful gowns made me look and feel. I was not judged one bit for my weight like I was in other places. I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Did I mention that the gowns are reasonably priced? Merrick did a fantastic job at staying within my budget! Ruby was literally my fairy godmother. She made feel so comfortable and made my dream dress a reality! I honestly was so nervous about finding a dress or having to shop forever but she made my whole party feel at home! This was a one stop shop for me! The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and listened to my concerns and needs. I would definitely recommend this shop for a curvy bride to be!

Wow is all I can say. I don't even have words to describe how amazing this place is. From the second I walked in to the moment I walked out they made me feel so beautiful, loved and important. Merrick took such great care of me and my family. She listened to what I was looking for and she helped me find the perfect dress. The owner Burt was also there and he was such a sweetheart and took great care of my friends and fam while Merrick was lacing up my dresses for me. I had an appointment at another bridal salon today, before coming here, and I didn't feel important or listened to. They had about 3 "plus size" dresses that barely even fit me and it was clear that the woman working didn't give a crap about me or what I wanted so I was a little discouraged... but I walked into Della Curva and felt like I was at home. They have the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I found a dress (with the help from Merrick) that makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. I couldn't stop looking at myself. I am usually pretty insecure about my looks and don't like to look in mirrors but I haven't stopped looking at photos of me in my dress. If you are a curvy bride I urge you to come here because I can guarantee you will find something that makes you feel like a million dollars!!!! Thank you so so so so much Della Curva! Look no further!!!! Della Curva is hands-down the BEST bridal salon for ANY bride looking for plus size gowns. All my life I have never been able to find something in my size that not only rivaled "average" size fashion - but could not only match, but exceed my expectations. After visiting several salons, I thought Della Curva would be nice and a fun experience with my Mother and sisters. IT WAS BETTER THAN I EVER COULD HAVE IMAGINED and I promise I'm not being dramatic! Everything from Lisa to Burt doing everything they could to make sure I had the right dress, the right size, shipping information to come to me across the United States, everything! Lisa literally got on the floor to help fix my dress right. That is more than just good business, that shows a passion and love for what you do. I am just so thankful! Then when my dress was ready, Merrick was WONDERFUL, working with my Mother to make sure I had the right dress at pick up. Everything was extremely organized, professional, and made my experience surreal and one I will never forget.

DELLA FREAKING CURVA! Honestly, there is no better store, no better place that has it all like Della Curva. Their customer service is beyond outstanding. Ruby - helped me find the perfect dress - THE ONE! She was kind and patient; the works! I had visited David's Bridal first and they had absolutely NOTHING that fit or flattered my body type. It was either too small or too big - nothing in between. I also visited Jaclyn's Bridal. I have never felt so "fat" in my entire life. The woman who worked their wanted me to fit a certain size. I specifically told her, "those sizes don't fit, they're too small!". She didn't listen and insisted I put them on. After realizing that it wasn't going to work.... she told me "this place isn't for you... try another that has.. ahem... your sizes." I cried, felt so ashamed, and disgusting. I lost hope. a week later, My mom said, let's try Dell a Curva! The minute I tried on my first dress and it FIT! I felt a sense of relief, happiness, I even cried again. Only this time, they were tears of joy. I didn't feel any less, I felt like me. For once I felt beautiful and was actually going to look like one of those brides you see on TV. Whatever size, shape, anything you are... THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

I was honestly so relieved when I found Della Curva. I was able to find the exact style of dress I wanted to accommodate my curves. The staff was lovely and I cannot day enough about Ruby and her patience throughout the shopping experience. Beautiful shop with PLENTY of options for everyone!

The day I became engaged was the best day of my life! Soon after panic set in a bit, only because I’m a plus size woman and most bridal boutiques do not off plus sizing. I thought to myself great what am I gonna do now? A friend then reached out to me and asked if I’d heard about Della Curva. So right then and there I looked them up and made an appointment. Didn’t hurt to see what they had to offer. My appointment day came and as soon as I walked into Della Curva I knew it would be the day that I chose my perfect dress! Merrick was so amazing and so patient and just made me feel very reassured. I tried my last dress on and as soon as she got those laces tied up I knew. I walked out to show my family and everyone was overcome with emotion. I never thought I could feel so beautiful. Della Curva helped me feel included and beautiful and comfortable in my own skin for the first time. They gave me the confidence that I needed to be a strong And graceful bride.❤️

So to start, last year my best friend got engaged. As her maid of honor I took her to her bridal appointments, took her dress shopping, and all the fun things we get to do. Through dress shopping with her I found out they don't carry many plus size gowns to try on. The highest size I found going to 12. I fall in a 16 to 18. When I got engaged I was very anxious and very depressed about not finding something that fit and was flattering. I did a lot of research and they were the only ones close that carried a whole store worth of dresses! As soon as I walked inthey madmade mefeel like a beautiful and confident bride. Not like a fat nerd which is often how I come across. They really made the experience and worked with my budget. Which mind you wasn't that large. All in all I wish I could have given a larger score for them. they were amazing.

When I became engaged as a fluffy girl I worried about finding my wedding dress. From the start the staff and dresses made me feel like the bride. What is great is that it’s for all shapes and sizes. I have recommended Della Curva to all of my friends and family. 2nd best day was here, the 1st was my engagement. I was able to find my dress and enjoyed it to the fullest.

If you’re looking for a dress store with great customer service and dress that will actually fit when you try them on then you need to go to Della! I’m originally from Southern California but currently live in Alabama. When it came time to find my dream dress I knew this was where I needed to go to feel confident and beautiful in the dress try on process! The salon was great. Tons of dresses to try on and my mom and I were the only ones there. Shipping my dress to Alabama was super easy. I also got my beautiful veil from them! Highly highly recommend.

Loved Della Curva! EVERYONE in the shop was super helpful and made me feel comfortable during my wedding dress shopping experience. The dress were gorgeous and came in a wide range of plus sizes! Loved it! I've told a few other brides to head that way as well.

Alexa was beyond amazing! I went to about 8 different places before I came here and Della Curva blew the others away by far! Everyone was super helpful but Alexa especially just had an eye for what I would like. I just had my wedding and I have never felt as great as I did in that dress!

I absolutely loved my experience with Della Curva! I was worried I wouldn't find a dress I liked within my budget and my size. But as soon as I walked in and saw other women like me, I felt right at ease. Sara really helped me understand what would look great on me, let me try on so many dresses and bring my trusted family and friends in twice! This place is magical! I had two weddings and wore my dress twice. I would wear my dress every single day if I could. That’s how much I love it! Everyone here is so nice. I was helped by Ruby and she is incredible. If you are a curvy girl, do yourself a favor and come here. You won’t regret it.

This Bridal Salon is the absolute best. They have such a great quality and selection of dresses. Not only are the dresses priced fair, the customer service is above and beyond. My consultant Ruby was so amazing. She really took the time to understand what I was looking for and she was conscious of my budget. I had been to multiple bridal salons trying dresses on and not a signal consultant helped me into my dresses. She was so compassionate and honest. If I asked for her honesty she gave it to me and for me that is something I valued. Della Curva also had the best dressing rooms I had seen. It was so refreshing to have a mirror and a big room to just take a minute to see the dress myself before going out in front of everyone. I can not rate this store high enough!

For a curvy bride, it’s not easy finding a dress, let alone trying one on in your size. Della Curva was the BEST!!! I was nervous trying on dresses and they made me feel so beautiful and so confident. I wish I could experience it all over again!

The dressing rooms are HUGE so you're not sweating and bumping your elbows into the walls while you squeeze into a dress. I could spin around in the bright light and try on however many dresses I wanted to, feeling truly comfortable and taken care of the entire time. Every person I dealt with at Della Curva was kind and fun and really listened to what I liked and didn't like. It was finally the dreamy, exciting experience I had wanted in dress shopping, and they had a great variety of styles so I could explore a lot of options. They were always quick and responsive and kept me in the loop about when I would get everything. Can't say enough good things about this place!

I am a curvy girl and had to find a dress days before my wedding. I had planned a wedding less than a week. I knew I couldn't go just to any shop. I came across Della Curve salon online. It was the first shop that popped up and I emailed them in the wee hours in the morning. Sara replied first thing in the morning and got me in the same day - IT WAS MEANT TO BE. I had only 2 days before my wedding to find a dress. Not only did they have a GORGEOUS selection of dresses, but the service and energy that Sara presented that day were AMAZING...Best Experience of my life! She was very knowledgeable - easy to work with. I felt comfortable and I trust her judgment. I had two of my daughters with me and they had an amazing time. I had less than favorable experiences trying dresses until a friend told me about Della Curva. It was so great to be able to go in and try on any dress I wanted! And not just kind of try it on, but really try it on without having to imagine what it would look like if it wasn't 5 sizes too small. Sara was amazing and wasn't pushy at all. She helped me try all the dresses I liked and made suggestions of ones she thought I'd like. I found the perfect dress that is so beautiful and looked amazing on me :) I can't recommend them enough!

I heard horror stories for plus size woman looking for wedding dresses, over and over. I researched online and came across Della Curva in Tarzana, California. I nervously made my 1st appointment. I went in remembering a suggestion I read. Go in open minded. My bridesmaids pulled dresses, Ruby, my awesome right hand getting me dressed pulled her suggestions. I was flying through dresses. Till the one. I cried. My friends cried. I tried on more. But left knowing that I was in love with that Stella York dress. I always loved her dresses. Thought being plus sized, I'd be out of beautiful dresses. I was wrong. I made my second appointment a couple weeks ago to go back. As my daughter said, "Mom you are walking around like you know everyone." That's just how comfortable they make you feel. Yesterday, I twirled, sat, stared and fell more in love with my dress! Then they asked the question I only thought I would hear on T.V., "Are you saying yes to the dress?" I said, "YES!!" I cannot thank Della Curva, Ruby and Sara enough. As a Curvy woman, it could be quite intimidating dress shopping for the most important dress of your life. However, at Della Curva, it was an amazing experience. Their stylist Ruby was so helpful, sweet, and energetic! I am so extremely thankful we found this location! The selection of dresses are great, and they have something for every body shape! Della Curva is in fact the ONLY place to go for the curvy bride. I can tell you that I went above and beyond to look for a bridal shop that would cater to my needs. I made calls to almost every bridal shop that i pulled from my research, which was pretty much all within the county!! And the answer was always the same, "we don't carry many dresses in plus sizes". My first visit was not planned as I thought it would take many visits to other shops to find the perfect dress. Della Curva has all styles and you'll definitely find what you're looking for. You will definitely be within your budget guaranteed..AND will find many to choose from. Last but not least..they carry quality dressmakers Stella York..my seamstress told me that the dress was well executed and got it for a great price..esp since it was a newer style. This is the place to go and not feel as if you need to fit the dress..you will find a dress will fit to all your curves. all you need to do is choose your style...

Great Boutique for Plus Size Brides. They have all sorts of styles and in sizes that actually fit. If you go to David's bridal they will shove you into dresses 6 sizes to small and ask for you imagine what it will look like in your size. At Della Curva, they actually have your size, so you can see the full vision of yourself as a bride. Ruby helped me with my fitting and she was so nice and helpful. I ordered my dress in June and it should arrive in December, I can't wait to get it!

I absolutely LOVED my time at Della Curva! I went in January in hopes I'd find my dream dress, and I did! The salon was absolutely beautiful, full of dozens of dresses in various styles, colors, and cuts. We had the salon all to ourselves during our 1.5 hour appointment, which really made it feel exclusive and intimate. Sara (who I believe is the owner or manager) was the friendliest woman ever; she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful and she even danced with me when I said YES to the dress (which was one she picked out for me btw). I had such a terrific time trying on dresses and finding the one; I'm actually sad that it's over, because I'd love to go back every week! When I picked up my dress this past July, I had the same experience. Sara greeted me with a huge smile and hug and was eager to have me try my dress on. I loved it even more than when I initially picked it out and did not want to take it off, and Sara was kind enough to let me dance around the salon in the dress I love so much. Every plus-sized bride should come to Della Curva. The experience is like a fairytale and the service was beyond perfection! Della Curva was a godsend! I'm a 5'10". It yet girl and I was worried about finding a wedding dress. The moment I walked in the door I saw rows of gorgeous dresses that I knew would fit me. It brought me to tears. Every woman deserves beautiful dresses to chooses from. The staff was amazing and kind and really cared that I find a dress that I fell in love with. And I did!!! This is the best place in the world to find a gorgeous dress for curvy girls. I love Della Curva!

I am so glad I got my dress at Della Curva! I went to David's Bridal first and although they had a couple of nice dresses, none took my breath away like the ones at Della Curva. Not only did I get more personalized attention at Della Curva, but there were SO MANY OPTIONS for dresses to choose from. SO MANY! In every size imaginable. I not only purchased my dress from them but also a beautiful jeweled sash as well.

Going to this Bridal Salon was the best choice I could have made. The whole idea of dress shopping gave me extreme anxiety. I wanted to have a special experience but couldn’t see that happening for me in a larger location that was over run with other shoppers. I also wanted to be able to see myself in a the dresses. I was able to try on a bunch of different styles and fit in all of them. I found my dress and veil at my very first appointment. The ladies at the shop made the whole experience amazingly easy and made me feel comfortable. From setting the appointment to picking up my dress every step was a breeze. I'm so happy I found my dress at Della Curva! Ruby is so wonderful! I was really nervous about looking for a dress but she was so helpful and I felt really comfortable! They have so many dresses to try on and even options for alterations. You can find your dream dress at Della Curva. I tried on five dresses during my appointment and the fourth dress was the one I wound up loving! I had gone to another appointment at David's Bridal before but they didn't have a lot of options. Della Curva is totally different and the staff is really nice. Make sure to take pictures at the end with their signs when you've found the dress-they're so cute. I would definitely recommend Della Curva to any curvy girl looking for a beautiful dress!

After my first visit to a popular bridal store turned out to be a disappointment, I was worried that finding my dress would become a long and difficult process. Luckily I was able to take a last minute appointment that same weekend at Della Curva and fell in love with the first dress I tried on! The staff was personable, professional and engaging. This is a lovely little boutique that made me feel special and welcomed from beginning to end! I highly recommend any plus size bride to put this shop on their list while preparing for the big day.

Absolutely loved this place! I’m a size 22, and after trying on several dresses at David’s bridal I was feeling very discouraged. Their dresses are skinny girl dresses made with extra fabric, so nothing was flattering or hit me in the right places. All the dresses at Della Curva were beautiful and flattering, I was left with a hard decision and had to come back and try my top two on again, only to fall in love with one they had just gotten in. They were reasonably priced, way less than what I thought they would be. Shout out to Ruby for helping me find the dress (I didn’t want mermaid, strapless, or beaded, and that’s what she recommended and I ended up getting)

Best place for bridal dress ever I had a horrible experience at David’s bridal and Sara made my day super special made me the most important person and best of all she didn’t tell me not to touch the dresses or when to stop choosing she let me try as many of them on she was amazing thank you so much!!

I’m a plus size bride I typically where an 18. I was dreading going wedding dress shopping this was the first place I went. They were very nice and they had a lot of dresses. I went in with an open mind and tried on anything. I think it’s harder to have an idea of what plus size dress are out there because there are so few pictures online and on Pinterest. They have a lot of dresses with the corset built into them. They had a good selection of dresses with sleeves and were able to add sleeves to show you what it would look like. I did know I wanted lace and I wanted along train. What I did not like was most of the dress you could not customize by adding longer train or adding more lace. While I personally did not find my dress here I think it’s an excellent place and if you are a plus size bride check them out.

I went to Della Curva for the first time july 2016 thinking I wasn't going to be able to find my size with out my dress being hideous! I was totally wrong! my experience was amazing I was helped by Lisa she made me feel important by only having 1 appointment at a time and when i was self conscious out not fitting in the dressed she said don't worry hunn we can make these dresses custom to fit you that's no problem. she made me feel so comfortable about everything and literally like the 3rd dress in I found the perfect one! it was beautiful and everyone in my wedding party almost cried when I tried it on lol. I would like to say thank you to the crew at Della Curva for making My wedding Day the most special day in the world !

I visited Della Curva back in May. I'm originally from the Bay Area, but did not have any luck finding a wedding dress that I was totally in love with. I worked with Ruby, who found me the most beautiful dress and listened to me when I described what I wanted. She didn't pressure me, and she let me have a minute in each dress to decide whether or not I liked it. Overall best experience!!! I tried on so many dresses, they had the most variety, and I was so thrilled to finally find a dress! Highly recommend!

Honestly, I can't think of a better experience with a wedding dress shop!! Ruby was phenomenal from the beginning. I had a wonderful experience at Della Curva. I had high expectations and this shop, as well as the lovely Sara, exceeded them. I am not a really 'girly girly' and wasn't sure what I wanted. Sara talked me through the entire process. What cuts are best for my figure, pros and cons of one fabric over another, even helping my choose a non-traditional veil that suited me to a tee. Other bridal shops that carry 'plus size' have one or two cookie cutter dresses. This place is focused on plus sizes, the entire collection. How refreshing. Great selection, great service, and great shopping experience/

Della Curva is the BEST!! I was in a pinch to find a wedding gown quickly. I called them and they not only fit me in last minute but stayed late to make sure that my search was a very special experience and that I would find a dress. They have a huge selection of wedding gowns and it's such a beautiful space. I ended up finding the PERFECT dress (it was the first one I tried on) and couldn't be happier!

I traveled all the way from Colorado to find my dress at Della Curva. The staff was friendly, helpful, and fun! The experience made me feel like a princess, and it was especially comforting knowing I could try on any dress I saw without having to worry if it would fit me. I traveled from Bakersfield, about an hour and a half or so. From the second I walked in I was in love with this place! Sarah's husband, Burt I believe greeted us, since she was getting her finger checked out. Sarah had injured her finger the day before and she showed up with a splint on it, yet she didn't let that slow her down! Being a curvy bride isn't always easy when looking for dresses. I had gone to David's bridal and only tried on some dresses that were available in my size, none that were like what I had told them I wanted. Here I found 5 amazing dresses that were exactly what I was looking for! Never once did I feel rushed, nor did I feel ashamed of my body! I walked out a very happy bride and I said yes to the dress there!!! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know! Even if you're not a curvy bride they own a bridal shop down stairs too!!! Love them and love the experience. Thank you Della Curva!!!

I felt like a princess! I had a 500 person wedding and being plus size woman in a white dress was the scary part! Started out dreading the dress portion of my wedding until I went to my appointment and being blown away! The ladies who helped me were so knowledgeable and made me feel so special. I was in tears of joy and finally started accepting being in white for my special day. They had so many options! They were so easy to talk to and didn't sugar coat things to make a sale they took their time and helped me finalize the perfect dress. Della Curva was a fantastic in every way possible. My dress came in on time and they even allowed me to bring in my family to celebrate. They even suggested an amazing tailor for the arm caps they ordered for me to be put on. I have and will always refer any plus size bride to be not to waste their time at other places not worth the heartache. I love you Della Curva you made my day comfortable and extraordinary!

Being a plus size bride, and having to find a dress is stressful, especially on a budget. Then have a bridal company go out of business and leave you high and dry to find another dress is even more stressful. Della Curva was the last bridal shop on my list because I did not think I would be able to find a dress within my budget with all of their amazing gowns, but boy was I wrong!! Not only did I find the perfect dress that is 100x better than my first dress (things do happen for a reason), but it was also in my budget!! Due to the store that shall not be named going out of business they worked with me to make sure I could get the dress of my dreams! Not only is the staff amazing and make you feel like part of the family, they also always answer the phone with cheer, even with me calling and checking on the dress (I may have been a little traumatized with what happened with the first dress). I recommend anyone and everyone come out to Della Curva!! I traveled an hour and a half with 2 of my bridesmaids and it was worth it! I can't wait to go back and get my dress, and to see the Della Curva family once again!!

I never would have thought a plus size bridal salon was what I needed, but I am sure glad I found Della Curva! I am 5'8" and usually wear a size 16. This often leaves me at the top end of regular women's sizes, but the normal bridal boutiques with their mid-range samples made me feel horrible and huge. Exactly what every larger bride dreads. At Della Curva I found a friendly staff who was eager to help me find my perfect dress. I was able to make an appointment the same week, and was pleased to find there was only one other bride there, making the experience very personal. (Unlike the busy hustle I was feeling at the bigger bridal boutiques.) Additionally, I was shopping for my dress alone since my mom and sister live in Northern California. They were so nice, helping me in an out of dresses, all the while holding my phone up for me and circling me as I FaceTimed every dress with my mom and sister! The customer service was truly outstanding! Lastly, the dress! The ability to try on dresses that actually fit was amazing, and gives you such a better sense of what your dress will actually look like. Even though I could smash myself into the sample dresses at the regular stores, one thing that always looked funny was the small bust sizes on the samples. They were never going to be flattering. Della Curva had a wide selection of dresses, some that I would have never tried if I had not been able to try on a plus size sample. Their dresses seemed priced better than many I had tried at the other boutiques too. The result... my dress was everything I had hoped for and more! I had my dress "moment" that I never thought I would really have as a bigger bride, and I am so grateful to have found Della Curva!

I waited and waited and waited to get a dress because I’m plus size and frankly, I didn’t think I’d ever find something I’d like in my size. My family dragged me out in the rain and forced me to at least LOOK. From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable and was surrounded by so many gorgeous dresses. The staff was so kind and helpful. I fell in love with the 3rd dress I tried on and ordered it that day. I can’t emphasize enough how amazing this shop made me feel. I didn’t feel like a plus size bride. I just felt beautiful. I can’t recommend them enough.

I had the most amazing experience at Della Curva in June. Buying a wedding dress for anyone who isn't a small size is extremely nerve wracking and to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it. However, the minute I walked to into Della Curva I felt at home. Women always talk about the moment they found "the" dress and I wanted the same experience. I would recommend Della Curva to any woman looking for an amazing dress. I ended up purchasing the first one I tried on :) I was so sad to leave it behind because it is truly gorgeous! You honestly will not regret stopping by.

I put off dress shopping until nearly the last minute because of my insecurities. At the time of shopping, I was a size 16/18 and I had allowed my fears about my weight to keep me from shopping, which I know is sad. I finally planned the weekend and went to three shops, with Della Curva being the only plus-size salon. While I was able to (barely) get into most of the samples at the other stores, trying on a size 8 or 10 does not give you an accurate picture of what a dress will really look like. It went better than I thought it would, but I still felt like crap about myself. Then I went to my last appointment at Della Curva. From the second I walked in I felt at ease. There was no judgment, and the sample dresses were in sizes I could actually fit in. Seeing a gown in something close to my size completely changed the experience, and I finally saw myself as a bride. My consultant at Della Curva immediately "got" my style and I ended up having to choose between several dressed I loved. Several! It's still crazy to me. I choose a beautiful bohemian Watters dress. At my wedding I felt so beautiful and everyone complimented my dress. Now that the big day is past, I wish I would have just called Della Curva from the beginning (not at the last minute) because they made me feel like a beautiful bride.

After having a terrible time trying on sample sizes for a bridesmaid dress years ago, I was DREADING wedding dress shopping - but Della Curva made the process stress-free and enjoyable! They listened to my ideas about what I wanted, and I had a great time trying on dresses! When it came time to order THE ONE, they took care of everything - the dress even came in ahead of schedule!
