DellaMorte Photography, formerly Koontz Photography, is a Central Florida wedding and portrait photographer based in DeLand, FL. With over twenty years of experience in weddings and events, Daniella specializes in emotional, story-driven imagery, real moments over posed ones, for couples who want their wedding day to feel like them and no one else.
Serving DeLand, Orlando, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Deltona, Sanford, Winter Park, and the greater Volusia, Orange, Seminole, Flagler, and Lake County areas, with availability for destination elopements and weddings throughout Florida and beyond.
Every couple is welcome here, traditional, offbeat, quiet, loud, religious, secular, and everything between. Daniella is LGBTQ affirming, body positive, and neurodivergent friendly, with inclusive, gender neutral contracts and space for preferred names and pronouns. She holds Hearts & Lens accreditation, an organization dedicated to training photographers to work with people of all abilities, including physical, cognitive, and sensory differences. Sensory sensitivities, anxiety, and the need for flexibility are understood and built into every session without needing to be asked, no judgment, no assumptions, no boxes to fit into.
She is a board member of both PPCF and FPP, and a volunteer Wish Granter with Wish Upon a Wedding. She is also currently working toward two advanced designations, Master of Wedding Photography through the PPA, and the Florida Degree of Photographic Excellence through the FPP.
Wedding and elopement packages start at $795 for a one hour elopement, with the most booked wedding collection offering eight hours of coverage and two photographers at $4,795. Every wedding and elopement package includes a private online gallery with professional print shop access, full resolution downloads, and personal printing rights. Higher tier collections include a second photographer, a complimentary engagement session, and sneak peeks.
Gift certificates issued under the former Koontz Photography name are still valid and honored in full.
Beyond weddings, portrait sessions, commercial branding photography, and event coverage are also available with a gothic-whimsical eye for atmosphere and light, across Central Florida.

life and limb for the shot... hire Daniella. She somehow managed to be equal parts hype woman, comedian, creative director, and ninja all day long. Daniella had us laughing through every portrait, gave incredibly natural direction, and made two awkward humans (and our dog) look like we belong in a wedding magazine.
When our wedding timeline went sideways, she didn't miss a beat. Instead of cutting corners, Daniella worked seamlessly with our planner and other vendors, adapted on the fly, and still made sure we got every important moment - and every ridiculous Pinterest-inspired photo I had saved. I'm convinced she'd scale a mountain, climb into a bush, or levitate if that's what it took to get the perfect shot. We truly felt like she cared just as much about our wedding as we did.
Our engagement photos and our wedding sneak-peek photos are everything we hoped for and more, and I’m so excited to see the full wedding gallery once it’s ready. We couldn't imagine our day without Daniella: 10/10, would let this woman boss me around in public again.

in with us periodically to inquire on how our planning was going, to see if we needed any advice or if we were looking for vendors still. Her communication skills are incredible. When we had reached out to her, she'd answer in a timely manner every time.
Daniella herself, and her assistant who worked our wedding, Jenn, are just simply so talented. I've never been one to be comfortable in front of a camera...but Daniella and Jenn just made it so easy for me to feel comfortable. The poses and direction from Daniella were easy for me to follow, and I think you can tell how much fun we were all having together by the way our photos came out. My husband and I are brought to tears every time we look at our photos. We loved our wedding, from the venue, to the City of St. Augustine where we were married, but working with Daniella Koontz was really one of the best parts of our wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough.
